Welcome back to Blur Your Crucures for Excited Day. We have Nicholas Dagle on.
Um, and the Ozarks, you know, they're thick with strange stories, mystery hills, old haulers, they say the Ozark howler lives down there. Deep woods, kind of place for legends, are born in, in they stick around for a long time and the Ozarks. But nephalo, are they down there as well? What's the history out there? You wrote a book called Nephalom and the Ozarks, but what, what, uh, what do you
“thoughts on Bigfoot? First and foremost, and then we'll get into it?”
So, Bigfoot, I, I think I kind of ascribe to an L.A. Marsal Lee definition where there are a modern day nephalom, um, interdimensional creatures. Truthfully, I, I really don't know.
I just, I know that there's something that I probably never want to come and contact
with. Um, unless he's, unless he's a helpful Bigfoot Nick, then maybe, you know, maybe he saves you from a pond or something crazy out there. Well, that's the case, and yeah, yeah, like, happily, right? No, this is, but this is fun, because this kind of goes back
“to like the early early days. This is one of the topics and threads we love to pull”
on Lori creatures is talking about giants. And you've got a book out, Genesis 6 and the Ozarks, the compilation book on a Christian's perspective, proof, biblical giants for right in our backyards. And the Ozarks are blurry. Nate said, there's a lot of stuff going down there. There's actually, there's mounds, Nate, the mound builders built things in and through those areas as well. Um, we talk about why you wanted to write a book about this.
I know that, like, one of the things that we've done a number of times in the show, Nick, is that Dr. someone like Travis Roy, who is like giants of ancient America. And when he doesn't, he just compiles all of these old new ship articles, clippings, etc., of giants being found. Really seems to happen up until about 1913, 30 years or so. And then the
“disappears. But, you know, what drew you to look into giants in the Ozarks, specifically?”
So you might have thought, like, I started the beginning two years ago. Yeah, absolutely. Okay. Um, so really what kind of got me interested in doing this was I took the journey
two years ago of reading through Genesis. Um, I had never really taken the time to sit down
and read through Genesis at all. Um, I always kind of hung around Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Um, that was kind of my comfort spot. But I wanted to go start from the beginning, start at the basics and see what, see what Genesis had to offer. I meant, I heard about the flood in Sunday school and you hear about Abraham, but never read from front to back of Genesis. So I started to read through, um, read the--
But what I wanted to do was not to study the whole world. The master-writer, laptop, the soft, handy-internet. So master-writer, I'm really sorry. I said, you can say that you're a hero. Yeah, you're a master-writer, huh? But you don't understand. Egal, it's just a failure to work. Make you just a little bit like this. And when you then work, he says, "Catchin." "That's good?" "Safe." "How do you do that?" "I'm going to go back." Now, let's go.
