- I'm related to some of the most attractive people on the planet.
And there's always a funny sibling, all right?
I've accepted it. I know my role, okay? It's like, I'm on the phone, you want? - All right, I'll take it. - You're both beautiful.
- Oh, God. - Dear East gentle reader, welcome back to the Bridget and Podcast.
“I'm Lady Allison Hammond, your host for the event of the season.”
This is the podcast where I take you on a horse-drawn carriage tour of the wonderful world of Bridgetown. Chatting to the stars, hobnobbing with the creators, and most importantly for a super fan like me getting all the steamy hot tea.
Oh, not like that Lady Bridgetown. Don't forget that this episode of his event stories and plot twists from the whole fourth season of Bridgetown. So before you go any further, make sure you have seen all eight episodes
of the new season of Bridgetown on Netflix. There's an absolutely jaw-dropping moment episode eight, but I let you find out about that yourselves. On today's show, we have the goddesses of gossip. Her role is Spinos, Queen Charlotte,
and has soon to be retiring Lady Dambary, aka Golder, Roshabal, and Adjoa Ando. I just hope that don't ask me for a game of chess and more of a slight scenario, I just go on myself, Joe, I mean. But first, it's the return
of Hannah Dard and Claudia Jesse, aka Doty Boatie Bridgetown Sisters, Fran and Eloise. There've been through a lot since we last spoke, family, friendship,
“and funerals, so we are plenty to matter about.”
Hannah, Claudia, aka Fran, Eloise, let's go into round two, come on. Yeah, let's do it. You start this season together, season four together, and you end season four together.
I love that. Did that even come into your mind that that's what happens? No, actually, thanks a lot. (everyone laughs)
Yeah, I'm trying my own part. What's our last scene together? And I mean, Sisters for Life. What how are they described? They're sort of the same.
The dental twins, but incidental twins, one of them. But yeah. They're sort of the different sides of the same coin. Which we are as well. Which we are.
Yeah. What in real life, yeah. In what way? I don't know though 'cause we're quite, so we're might be... We're different, but we're the same.
Yeah, that's true. We're different, but we're the same. There we are. We get really excited whenever we get like to have scenes together. And even if this seems that aren't focused on us
will be like, they would definitely be holding. Yeah, no, we're definitely. They just were definitely holding out. And like, now directors will just look at us because they're about to split us up and we're like,
no, we'll be together. We think they'd be having a conversation. And you're going to want to cut to us.
Yeah, what 'cause it's incredible stuff.
It's incredible stuff. You know the characters better than anyone. It's a little bit of a selfish of us as well. Do you just want to be self-indulgent? Yeah, a little bit.
So they weren't, they were doing this. If you think about it, they are now the most eligible siblings available for marriage. But the pressure is different for both of you. And do you think maybe, you know, in the future,
there could be wedding bells? I know you've been through, I know you've been through a lot. Yeah. Would you think you could go on again?
“I think when Francesca says, she's had the love of her life.”
I think she really does mean it. And I think, especially it's not been that long when she says that. So I really do think that she's sort of sitting in her grief. And she really feels lucky to have experienced that love with John. And I think it's quite a lot to expect that somebody
could be as lucky as that multiple times. I think after you go through like, even a breakup, it's really hard to imagine falling for anybody else. Yeah, but they've seen it with their mum as well, you know? Like their mum, they had this example of like the most
incredible love, you know, like whenever like Violet talks about.
It's actually really unhelpful. Yeah, it doesn't help us. It's like, all right, it'll take cool. And so I think that must have an impact on them. I think it does, because I think we've seen it have an impact on all
of the children, really, like, like with Johnny with his season and hit this relationship with his dad. And it's a lot of pressure for them. Yeah, I wonder if in the future it depends, you know, whether or not Violet continues to explore that relationship
as to whether or not that will help Fran or whether or not Fran will react negatively to it. I'm quite excited to sort of see how she responds to that. Whether or not she feels that as a bit of a personal attack, like on her situation or whether she's like,
oh, there's hope, there's, you know, if mum's going through it. Because I'm an avid fan, I'm listening to everything. I was saying, I'm thinking of what, maybe you're going to be the main character in the season five or is it going to be Eloise?
Is she going to be the main character? Or is it going to be one of the Pomeranianists? My vote's well done. Yeah, it's, I could be looking at the main character of the next season right now tonight.
That's very true. I will be speaking to a few things as you can produce. Oh, mate, I would make my life.
I would make my life.
I'd get to it.
You know, we should happen.
We all know. Sign us up, Liz. Me, I would love that. The family really rallies around you when John dies. How do you think it shifts the family dynamic?
I think the thing is, is that with their dad's death, it's kind of something that has shaped them as a family. And all of the siblings have got different memories and different experiences of that death. So I think it's something that sort of is part of their DNA
and part of their personalities, is the fact that that happened to them as a family. So I do think they naturally respond in quite a big way to one of the siblings having to go through it as well, because it is such a big part of their life.
And I think the fact that she had the bravery to really choose John, it's devastating. It's devastating. And she really put herself out there. She's not high as in that like the marriage
might, it's like fun for her. It was like she endured it and she got through it and she came out and it was worth it. And now, you know, whether or not she goes through it again or not, I don't know.
I don't know what the writers have kind of got planned and knowing the books. Like she does put herself on the mark again. But it's devastating. But it is nice to see them sort of rally together
and you can see how important all of those individual relationships she's kind of, I get a scene with like most people for them
“to support Fran, which I think is really important.”
Claudia, how good was she when all that was going on? It might not be the reality or that. It was like that in the room. It was like that in the room as well. It was such a huge responsibility as well.
Like anyone knows, like with grief, like it's the,
and it happens to all of us, but it's always still the last thing
you think's going to happen. And like for some reason, it is, even though it's so human, it's such a part of life, it is the last thing you think is going to happen. And it's a massive responsibility as an actor as well. You obviously have like a huge monologue, such a huge thing for your character,
but in a room full of people. And like it's obviously we're all there, crew are all there. It's massive, it's massive. She's smashed it every single time. Absolutely, she's a consummate professional.
Well, it's own times. Yeah, because you have to draw upon something, but I don't know, what you drew upon, but you did such a good job. Well done.
What's it like having all the gang backing town, Jonathan, Simone, Luke, Nicola? Is it amazing to you all go out on the note? I want to know the gossip, what's happening? We're going out to know, we're going out to know it.
Yeah, we're going. And Nicola's really great. She always starts like a WhatsApp group for sure. And the year it's been for each season. So that'd be one B2, B3, B4, you know, she does it.
And obviously you've got some new busy. One of my favorite things in the world is welcoming people. It's my favorite thing to do in the whole wide world. I love it so much. I get so excited.
That's the real meaning. Yeah, you know it. Because obviously it's a big gig. Even when I see the drawing where I go back in, oh, this mad, this show, this is mad.
It's become, so imagine stepping onto it for the first time. I mean, I thought your first season.
I always think about that.
I'm like, "Crykey, it's not no pressure." Yeah, it's weird having viewed the show as well. You guys obviously smashed it, and you made it when it is, that's all on you guys. But also stepping in, having watched it as a fan of the show.
And then you're like, "Visit in the sets." And you're like, "Oh, no, it's wild." There's so nice to be the other side of that this season and get to like welcome Yerin in. And so normal, it's such a natural part of the show
to have new energy and new people and it changes everything. And it's always going to be like that. Which is so exciting about the show. It's a really unusual concept. I don't really know if any other show
where like a person takes over as the lead and then there's this whole new world around them. It's crazy, it's great. It's so good. It's so exciting.
It's so exciting. Who's gonna be next to you? - Yeah, yeah, that's good. - Michaela and Fran finally connect. I mean, is there a world?
“But the worst thing is, they connect, they get on.”
And then she leaves, she does one. - I know. - How do you think that's gonna affect Fran when she's going from all this grief and everything? - I think she's been through so much
and they've been through so much together. I think she feels like Michaela is sort of the only person who fully understood and loved John, the way that like Francesca really understood. I know that she knows that the family loved him,
but I think, yeah, Michaela and her share a grief there. So then for her to bail and like, disappear and not even say goodbye as well, is devastating. And I think all the air, I think she was sort of like holding on to her as like, this will be how I survive this.
So then I think she's just completely spirals. She's not got a child. She's now not got friends. She's back to absolute square one with like a massive hole in her heart.
- It's horrible. - Big shout out to Miss Ali as well. She's so good on real. - Let's talk about Crestadar. - Oh, she's back.
- Also, she comes back with about 750 bows attached to her. - No, it's incredible. - So much pink. - I know. - She wears it well.
- Yeah, she does actually. - Not many people could. - What does that mean for our Ella Wies? Because she thinks she's forgiven her.
“- Yeah, I think Ella Wies has a conversation with Penelope”
even just being like, how is Crestadar, by the way? - Like, you know, you know, she just has. - I, it's got a lot to do with the fact that I love Jess Madison with my whole heart. But like, I loved their friendship, I loved that season for how much time
I got to spend with Jess.
She's a beautiful actor to work with. And I love how different they are from each other. Obviously, I know it's a bit, you know, Ella Wies is going in there with a plot. - For other reunions.
- But I think it's like, there's a benefit there. There's like, there's, they get something out of it. Which is nice, because otherwise it could, you know, it could be a bit convoluted, but they both get something out of it. - It's lovely because that moment where Sophie comes in,
she says, I've seen the wheel, we can go. It looks like you don't really want to go. You actually need a comfortable position. - I think they have like, connected. And again, like, with there's a bit where Ella Wies
sneaks higher than the ball and sees Crestadar and Jess does so much work in that, like, two seconds. And I think it's like, again, friendship breakups are like, devastating, okay. And I'll just, what a character.
Like, every show needs a sort of Crestadar Calper. - Yeah. - And yeah, fantastic job by Jess.
- Yeah, she's just amazing.
- So any ideas, any theories on who Lady Whistle Down is? - I have. - Oh, the new link. - You link. - Go on then. - I think, yeah.
- It's still Penelope. And she just wanted everyone off her back. - That's an incredible theory. - Genius, and it. - Oh, my God.
“- But the only thing was, there was a moment where Penelope”
when who was there, so, but I still feel like it's her. - She's not sure anything. - She's smart. - It's good, I mean. - That's an amazing theory. - Oh, mate.
- Oh, what do I think? - I'm still like, I really want it to be Huyeson. - Do you really want it to be Huyeson? - I really would want it to be Huyeson. - That would be fantastic.
- But then I think that's really hilarious when it gets to her season and she's like, "Huyeson, Bridgetton, what's up?" We need to see in the next season who they're really big enough. - Yeah.
- Yes. - And then we'll knock. - Right. - 'Cause if they're hinting, if they're like, if it's like, Huyeson's just stunning today, by the way.
- Well, for that's this. - Then it's fair. - Okay, let's see. - Yeah. - Or Penelope doesn't get any gossip.
- Right. - Season 5 will tell you I'm on this. - Season 5. Why are you hoping for your characters? - I just wanted to feel a bit better at this stage.
- She's been through house. She needs some help in her stinch. - She just needs a cuddle from her mama. - Yeah. - And all of the sips around her.
I don't know.
“I don't know how you really like move on from something like that.”
I hope that she sort of learns to live a full life by herself and she doesn't like punished herself. I feel like sometimes you can do that through grief. You can sort of not want to live your life through the fullest because you feel guilty, but I hope she does it for John.
- In a way? - Yeah. - I really like Ellie, we find someone fit. - What's she's like lying in a fair? - Yeah, but just looks at someone and goes up for her.
I want to see her think someone's fit. - There's got to be chemistry. - That's fun to wear. - You've got to have a hot air. - Oh, absolutely.
- Ellie. - I've seen the show. - They know what they're doing. - I'm good looking bunch. - I'm relate to some of the most attractive people
on the planet. - And you are so beautiful.
- And there's always a funny sibling, right?
I've accepted it. - I know my role, okay? It's like, I'm the fun you want. - All right, I'll take it. - You're both beautiful.
- Oh, God. - Oh, God. - Thank you. More, more. - Yeah.
- I want to see us to find some really fit. That's what I want. - Really similar parts, they're right. - Yeah, similar. - Yeah, similar.
- And it means that season four is it so far? - Yeah, but what a joy that we know of five's coming. - What a joy. - I can't wait.
- Thank you girls. - Thank you. - Thank you. - We love you so much. - We love you so much.
“- More the best thing that's ever happened”
to this country. - I do think so. - I do love what we're doing. All the best people in the same place. (laughing)
As an attending. (laughing) Do you think I'll ever do it again? - Me. - No, we're doing no.
I've had my great love. One time is enough.
- Always a treat, chatting to Hannah and Claudia.
I love their characters and I cannot wait to find out what's next for them. Francesca definitely deserves a little bit of luck. Think as cross next season, she wins the lottery or invents penicillin or something like that.
But now it's time to chat to appear in my favorite Bridgeton characters. Not only are they invited to every party, but they're the only ones who get to sit down and my type of girls.
It's my own personal style icons, Queen Charlotte and Lady Dambore, AKA Golderosh of our Anadua Ando. - Thank you, Los. - It is the best thing to happen all season.
- No. - The best thing to happen all season is that you are sure to win your widget with Mrs. Barigiton. - Anadua, Golder, welcome to the Bridgeton podcast.
So you feeling it. - Well, wait. Allison, you have gone above and beyond. - I've got the Queen's event. - We appreciate your service.
- Oh, you're welcome. - You're welcome. - I am so honored to have you both here and I want to get straight into it. - Because obviously Lady Dambore, Queen Charlotte,
there's a lot going on. Why are they putting heads this season? What is going on? - Well, you know, when you've had someone in your life for a very, very long time.
- Yes.
- These things happen.
- And these ladies have been in each other's life
for decades since they were 19, 20, 20 months. - Yeah, like that. - So they've grown up together. They've grown outwards together. And we've reached a point as happens in everybody's unique journey
through life where they want somebody or something different. - Somebody wants something different. And that's going to have a, cause of, you know, - It's the boat.
- A bit of a ricochet effect and all the emotions go. - Queen's so funny when you do the whole big speech and everything you're listening to lately. And then there's just a one word answer.
“No, I think it's the best moment, it's so funny.”
- It's the part breaking, but there's the comedy. - It's the comedy. - And that's what they get so right.
You've got that balance, that vulnerability,
the fact that it's not actually that funny 'cause you really wanna go. And then you make it so for a Queen Charlotte, it's so, so good. Let's talk about Lady Dambary, what did she want?
- I don't know that she knows what she wants exactly, but she knows she needs to change something. And for me, I think it all kicks in when her brother comes back on the scene and we saw in the previous season, the round she has with her brother, when he calls her summer,
which is a given name from Sierra Leone. And I think the churn starts then. She doesn't want him here, she shut the door on all of that history. She's made her life as Agatha Dambary in this world. And then he gets in a business with one of her closest friends, Lady B.
And I think it's all destabilizing and slowly the lid is starting to come up and underneath the lid is a lot of stuff that she firmly shut down when she decided, okay, husband dead, four kids, Charlotte's here now,
make a life here, go, it's my time. And so now she's coming full circle
“and it's like, okay, I think you need to go back”
and think about what that four year old lives in, before she came to England. And you need to make sure he's vulnerable. - Have we, in that way? - Not in that way. - In terms of family and thinking about that,
because she has been that single, single mindage. - And single person in her house, exactly. - And everybody has that thing, but my career, my career, what am I gonna do, what's my work, all of that? And then at a certain point in your life, you go,
and excuse me again, who am I? - Yes. - What's going on? - You forget who you are, so it's about finding yourself again. - Yes, it's taking that breath. - Yeah.
- But the impact on the friendship is quite something. It's huge. - Yes. - What's going on in Queen's life? 'Cause she's very bored, is it? What's, I think there's, I think,
I don't know whether it's necessarily boredom. I think there's, 'cause she's found out who whistle down is, hasn't she? - Yeah.
“- You know, and I think she is thinking that the season”
will start with a new best friend. And of course, all the gossip will come to her. But then like, who is around for that gossip to start? There's no debutants, there's no men of, you know, notable kind of hotness or excitement.
So there is that element at the beginning, especially in the Moscow Red Bull, where she's like, what's happening? What's going on? Where is my entertainment?
And, you know, calls upon whistle down to create that entertainment for her, but then gets sidetracked and kind of knocked off her senses by Agatha's ask. - And genuine emotional deep friendship ask.
And that scares the Queen, I think. - Yeah. - Because does that not put her in a space of loneliness? Her best friend is gonna leave her? What happens to her then?
What happens to her and the relationship with her husband? You know, and we have that wonderful, wonderful scene which was so amazing to film. - So powerful as we argue over the chess game. - Yeah, and I bring status into the mix,
which has never been brought in before
with these two characters. You feel as though they've always been on equal terms and equal, you know the Queen is the Queen and you know Agatha's in, you know where they stand, but it's never been suggested.
And a vulnerable, vulnerable moment for the Queen. And I think terrified moment for the Queen, she brings that in, yeah. And it's a mistake and she knows it's a mistake and the rest of the scene,
you see these two friends trying to get back their friendship and the apology happens, which is beautiful. And Agatha holds the Queen in that moment and the vulnerability that she expresses. - So there's a lot going on.
- There's a lot going on. - There's a lot going on. - It's so beautiful. - It's very complex, yes. - I think that moment where the Queen says,
you know, you are my subject and you just see Agatha go
Now I withdraw.
- I'm done. I will be your subject, but you won't get my love. - But she did apologize. She did show her vulnerable side and I don't think I ever thought I would see the Queen do that.
- Ever.
- It must be so lovely and powerful to film.
What was it like? - When G and I get the opportunity to do that stuff, it's kind of, it's gold and it's easy because it's lovely and because we're both up for it, there's a generosity so you respond,
to what you're given. And we can properly play actors do when they feel free and safe to be all of who they are, the vulnerable, the strong, the angry, the comedic, all of it. So when I work with Golder,
I know that that space is a space where we can bring our A game and that we can be as vulnerable with it. We can be as playful, we can change it up. It's like doing a dance where you know the other person is gonna be floating with you and responding with you.
- And where is that trust come from?
“Is that just all the seasons that you've worked together?”
You just get each of us so well now. - I've respected Adjoer way before Bridgeton. She was one of the actresses that I really looked up to. As an actress of color, a person of color. - Yeah.
- Seeing her do her stuff, strut her stuff in the way that she did with stuff was really inspiring and drove me to want to be the person and the actress that I am. Now getting to share the screen with her
as two women of color is phenomenal. And be in these characters that are badass. - Yeah. - And really like pushing the boundaries in terms of representation and all of that stuff
that we talk about sharing that with Adjoer is, yeah, it's, you can't ask for more really. - Yeah, and then you're sharing it with us. And we're watching being inspired ourselves. - Well, that's the thing.
- It's not, it's always a three-way communication
to work of drama. It's, it's, it's someone's imagination, someone else interprets it and someone else receives it. And it's like that three-way communication when it works well, it's gold.
So we're very lucky and we're very,
“we're very cognizant of the fortune up position we are”
in to be able to work like that in a show that's that loved. - But also I was thinking, your character's so loved. I don't want you to go. Does that mean you might not be coming back
in season? - No, I don't know. - Well, you know, she wants to, she hasn't said, I want to abandon this life. I just want to explore the entirety of my life.
- Just a little bit. - So there's, there's her life that needs exploring. - Okay. - You know, where that goes? It's, above my pay grade tech discuss.
- Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - I'll wrap a word with the pay for that. - Do it, don't worry about it. - Bless your heart. - I'll wrap a little chat.
So, Agatha hands over the first all to buyler. - She does. Buyler of all people. - Because Violet is her best beloved. She has the connection to the Bridgeton family.
- And we now know because we've watched Queen Charlotte, the Bridgeton story. We know that the love of her life was Violet's father. She adored her dad as well.
So there, you know, and they never really talk about it
in detail, but it's absolutely, they both know what they know. And so there's this sort of familial connection that she will have to anything that's happening with the Bridgeton children, anything that's happening with Violet.
“I think that's partly why she's so fed up”
about her brother and his relationship with Violet. Because it's like, no, that's my relationship with Violet. There's not your relationship. And I've had a long relationship from my young day. - Are you getting involved?
- Yeah, so I think there is something very loving for her to go, you know, to the daughter of the man that I was in love with. You have this little bit. You have that you take the first ball.
I trust you. I know you'll do a good job. Why is Lady Dumbery so invested in the laundry shoes? Especially Alice. What do she see in Alice?
What do you think of you? We have a great story of rising through class. And she wants to help them to rise. Just like she's been able to rise. Just like the queen is providing a court space
where people can do that. So that's what she wants to do. So her heart goes to them. And her heart says, you know, last season when they were getting the title for their son
and all of that and sort of saying, okay, do it like this. - Yeah. - That work is continuing. Also selfishly, she needs a placeholder. She knows that her friend needs someone,
and very few people would do that, who will sort of speak truth to power. - Yeah. - And she sees that Alice has the capacity to do that. - Not be fair.
- And be that person. But she's quit-witted. She knows her own mind, and she has strategy. And she can be encouraged to develop that strategy. And so I think the Danbury feels
that she will be a safe pair of hands to take Danbury's role and come alongside the queen.
Bring her own juice as well.
- You know, she's got her own juice.
- She's fine. - She's fine. You know, stand on your own feet. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's that. So I think that's what it's about.
“- What do you think the queen thinks of the Mondrogues?”
- She can let them in. - I think she has to let them in. - I think there's an element of understanding that she needs somebody to challenge her. Understanding that Agatha has to go off
and explore other things. And the trust that she has in Agatha when Agatha brings Alice forward, that this could possibly something and why not. You know, there's something new and fresh
for the queen to experience. - Yeah, and this new person. - So do you think her relationship with society will shift by the end? - Yes, I think so.
I think Queen Charlotte and I know this to be true of the real queen Charlotte was very involved in society shifting in making those shifts to create better worlds for people. - She was really interested in educating children.
She was a great lover of music. She loved the arts. She made space for women, writers and poets. And there was a real burgeoning of supporting and widening the education and arts and everything
that she introduced Georgia and all of that family to. - Lady Dambara, she's kind of like the puppeteer at the time.
- And she really, she's basically pulling all the strength.
Strings, why is it like claims someone who's pulling all those strings?
“- I think, I think sometimes, she has to be quite responsive”
because not all the strings are available to her. - I'd love her bravery and I love her willingness to go all right, it's just me, then I have to do it. How do I do it, how do I go forward? - And I see lots of women in life who are having to do that.
And I wanna celebrate them and go, you know, this is for you girls, all day long, you know, you make your way in the world, you make the best of what you've got. And you trust in your skills,
but you also encourage others in their skills, whatever, well, don't forget that piece. - Yeah, that's kind of what we want to do within the show. We wanna go, here's the door, which is gonna push it a bit wider, come on in, come on in.
Whether you're a viewer, whether you're a camera operator, whether you're a designer or an actor or a writer or a composer, the show is trying to make space for more talent to get space to thrive in. - Talk to the new talent, Yerin, how good is she?
- She's so good, she's a beauty, really good. I love him, she's a great soul. - She's a theater actor as well, and you can see it, you know, beautiful, the choices that she makes are just like so natural, so subtle,
but like they explode. - Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, she has a real delicacy of talent. - It really does, yeah. - And obviously your friendship is front and center
in this season, and it's so beautiful to play. Has it been enjoyable for you, too? - Yes, of course, I get to work with G, and we get to work on material that's meaty and interesting, and how rage.
- Sweet, sweet. - Sweet, sweet, sweet. - Yeah, yeah. - What are you all right? - What's on me in my 50s?
- Oh, stop it.
- I was never writing it.
- I was never writing it. - And celebrate today. - Great decade. - When you look at your characters over the four seasons, how have they changed?
- Five. - I'm counting, I'm counting. - I'm counting. - Queen Charlotte, a Bridgeton story, please. - Okay, sorry, five seasons.
- Right. - When you look at the characters over the five seasons, how have they changed? - Well, listen, when we see them in Queen Charlotte, a Bridgeton story, yeah.
- There, you know, late 20s and 20s. - So, you know, they've had babies, and that's been, and deaths, and power, and heartbreak, and all that stuff to contend with. So, they have grown and shifted,
and I think that's sort of being incorporated into where we're at with their story now. - Yeah, yeah.
“- Sometimes you have to move away from the friendship,”
as well, sometimes you say what you want to do. - Let's talk about lady, whistle down. Obviously, Queen Charlotte is the number one fan of her. - Yes. - Who's it gonna be?
- Have you even thought about this? - No, I haven't actually. I'd like it to be brimzy. - That'll be fun, eh? - Ha ha.
- Shall I tell you who I think it is? - Who? - I actually think it's still Penelope. She just needed the pressure off the queen, the pressure off you, and everybody,
and I reckon it's still her. - You've heard it here. - You've heard it here. - You've heard it here. - You've heard it here.
- You've heard it here. - I quite like the brimzy theory, because in a way, you know, the way Penelope would be at a ball, and she'd be sort of in a wallflower in the core system, observing,
Not nobody paying her much attention.
What has brimzy been doing?
- Have you seen him? - I didn't even know you.
“- It's little eyes, it's like, is everywhere.”
It's face, you can do a mask of I'm saying nothing, but you know who's saying everything. And you know who's everything. - You know who does. - It's privy to everything.
- Perivic. - Perivic.
- That's what she's going off to do.
- That you never know. What do you think? - What do you think? - What do you think Queen Charlotte thinks about the whole situation?
“- I think in the terms of her supporting artists,”
especially women to go off and do their own thing, we talked about the real Charlotte being,
you know, involved in all of that.
I think that's the element of Charlotte, my Charlotte that I want to portray. - portray. - So you know what I mean? - When the shit hits the farm and it all comes together,
we need to support each other, you know? And you want to step back, you want to step back,
“everybody wants to step back or let's give them the chance.”
- Yeah, well, Joe White, it's been an absolute delight watching you both. I've loved it, you are the queens of the chess board, and you've been running things for a long time. So yeah, well done, and thank you for joining us on the podcast.
- Thanks very much, Allison. - That's all the time we have here on the Bridget and Podcast. Thanks to all my wonderful guests, Hannah Dodd, Claudia Jesse, Golderosh Avow, and Adjua Ando.
Our next episode is the Unmissable Finale. I have Luke Thompson and Yareen Har aka Benedict and Sophie. I just love them. And we'll talk about the thrilling twist and the terms of their relationship
and what they think the future may hold for the couple we've all been rooting for this season. I'm not also asked how Benedict didn't realise that the girl in the silver dress was Sophie, come on, Beni, focus on the lips.
You've been drawing her all season. I'll also be chatting to the queen of Shondaland herself, Shonda Rimes, to hear all about bringing the stories like Bridget and to the screen. Until we meet again, this is Lady Allison Hammond,
wishing you, dearest, gentle reader, a fond goodbye to our babbs. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
