them so that's that's an out to me and just the I think youth movement kind of around the country I mean certainly I've variety of different ways to assemble these rosters but at the end of the day you know some of the biggest difference makers were homegrown out of high school and a lot of them on the field early so I think that's a big takeaway for me the other thing the parody in terms of you know the distribution of talent I think that continues to show up game to game
conference the conference so that I don't know there's those are some things that jump out to me I agree man let's let's dive in here for a block let's do a little class check in on a team that we talked about a lot last week we're gonna double dip them now lane kip and we know the the portal king and all all that stuff but they're also really doing a great job in high school which is you know this will make a small miss fans mad and I like someone agree in someone
“disagree with him but like he kind of talked about like that's why you go to LSU is because you can”
just get a different level of high school player there for whatever reason and they're kind of killing it after taking down Clemsley 51 to 10 in front of a lot of recruits obviously what are your thoughts on their class so far I think there's some work left to do right so there's sit number
10 in the 24/7 sports team rankings but out of all the teams in the top 25 at the second least
amount of current verbal commits and where my mind goes right away is okay these guys have been out the spatula flip season and that lead up to the signing game right early signing period in December and you know they make a statement on Saturday night the game everyone's watching it was quite the environment there in death Valley in terms of the celebrities and obviously it was a huge recruiting section but just having covered lane and and followed what he's done in
the recruiting front I mean but don't forget not too long ago he was wearing the very foot miss
“sweater when he was at Ole Miss I think LSU is gonna get this thing going and I think there's a chance”
they have an opportunity to push into the top five of the recruiting rankings and yeah they're gonna continue to supplement it with guys in the transfer portal so to mean I see number 10 pound for pound this is a strong class but you know there's there's an opportunity for them to to go out and get some other different makers and I think LSU you know lane kiff and LSU that staff they got to be gonna be looking their chops just no one what's ahead no no doubt about it
and just the the amount of buzz around them right now like I think that's a place that people want to be you know last year's class heavy on the defensive side of the ball we talked about that a lot you know I saw you know do sterile to get in the game quite a bit Richard Anderson as well some mix results from good plays and also some oh man that guy is certainly a freshman which I think you would kind of expect from some of those defensive linemen this year though like much more
offensive for lane kiff and you know a lot of good running backs they also have the quarterback commit who you know look pretty good at all the showcase stuff and and puts up big-time numbers in high school yeah I think the two the strength of this class is that running back group so they got three of them committed and I would argue this is the best running back haul in the country right now two of them inside the top two four seven another one kind of knocking on the door so it's
tray martin and instate kid David Sagerah out of South Carolina and then Brennan Lacey from the state of Texas and they all kind of compliment each other well and you know after watching what L.S. you did to Clemson on Saturday night I mean they ran the ball they wanted to run the ball and who was who was kind of the bell cow it was it was Dylan Jones a a trance for in from Wisconsin I love that kid coming out of high school he was running back ten for us I think in the
in the twenty twenty four cycle he had a huge wrestling background I thought I always thought it was
a bit surprising he he wasn't getting more burn there at Wisconsin so a bit validating to see him do it in a spotlight game like that and I bring up Dylan Jones because tray martin to me very similar type of player similar similar measure bulls a guy that just is consistently finishing runs and he can also utilize as a pass catcher so to me he's kind of the most complete of that trio but the David Sagerah kid out of South Carolina super super unique player his background
This is a kid that was involved in like US youth soccer national team stuff a...
also a wrestler right so I said Dylan Jones wrestler you know hey David Sagerah wrestler you can see that those guys are attack lever as a runner he's more kind of a battering ram you know 215 pounds
already kind of reminds me of a Daniel Hill there at Alabama that bigger back and then finally
the the print and lacy kid this kid's got a ton of trend left on the tires like he is he I don't think there's career high carries in high schools like 11 so he's out of guy that's been you know driven into the ground already and you know not a ton of production but the flashes are there so really like what LSU is doing at running back and we've seen it you know these committee approaches
“get these guys involved super super early and I think it was a focus for LSU and again”
love the group and what they've done thus far as seniors in high school. I mean I also just love wrestlers like if you're a wrestler like generally you are tough right like you can fight to smid diversity that that is a hard sport to play like this it's not really like a band of these
sport and they almost always have like great core great core abilities and great balance like
you don't see a lot of wrestlers with bad balance like maybe if they end up on the ground it's kind of because they you know they want to go there right that that's awesome that a tray is a wrestler there I love that um Peyton Houston by way quarterback for LSU really interesting tape too like like in watching this I know we've talked about this guy who's getting more athletic like they're they're offensive kind of funky for my evaluation standpoint it's not a not not not but it's
just like that looks like kind of like a modified punt formation with him being that deep in the shotgun and then he makes it work pretty well yeah but but I've been buzzing kind of like all the
the top quarterbacks and this 20 27 cycle right watch in the full games and I think I got the most
excited about what Peyton Houston did this week and now evangel Christian they end up losing the Westman row but what I saw from Peyton it was electric and explosive I mean full speed his ability to process it and make decisions he does it so much faster than everyone else and you mentioned it's it's a bit of a funky offense they kind of use this deep shotgun but at the same time it it kind of showcases Peyton's arm talent he had a 39 yard touchdown pass where the ball
traveled 59 yards through the air because he was you know that far behind the line of scripture mentioned it was into the back of the end so I thought it was super encouraging you brought him as an athlete he ran for over a hundred yards four yards passing five total touchdowns would have been a lot more if it hadn't been for some costly fumbles by some of his teammates or some drops in there as well but I thought this was everything we want to see for out of a quarter
back that we really liked over the summer and he was the alpha dog at the opening files for us so there was some of the elite 11 quarterbacks were there and look here's the reality Peyton Houston isn't the biggest guys under five 11 he's got smaller hands you know red numbers across the board but he continues to show that he is an elite distributor of of the football he's he's a dynamic
“point guard that's how I would describe him but and you know you watch what he did this past week”
it kind of reminds me of Trinidad Chambles say you think about how you think about hey Lane Kiffin what he was able to do at Ole Miss with with Trinidad I think he's got another one on the way in in Peyton Houston and you know so far so good for him extremely encouraging what we saw week one of his of his senior campaign and that fast processing like it's just Trinidad just sees it quickly and then it's not a long stride it's not a long wind up it's just like you know
bang your dead right and it's just it's just there and Peyton had this throw in in that Westman row game where you know he's he's got the coverage going this way also sees it throws it back the other way in bang touchdown you know it's just those guys either habit or they don't and you know it's on but it honestly is kind of hard to identify that stuff on tape so when you see it like you're going to invest as much as you can just at the high school level so yeah I mean full speed

with his legs in that game I go back to the the opening regional New Orleans made you were down there Peyton Houston you want to talk about like a business like mindset he tested and I think four different pairs of cleats and then you know he almost broke four seconds in the in the short shuttle so this is a guide it probably doesn't get enough credit for his ability to move around the pocket and extend place all right so we got a sleeper here in this class I think at LSU made they let me got something here

senior and but he's one of these boundary receivers that can win on the outside right he's excellent
in the red zone he's excellent when you know the field has been short just with his his coordination his hands as concentration back shoulder grabs you know he can play above opponent shoulder pads now is he the fastest individual probably not but he is fluid he's got good spatial awareness and kind of the more we watch with with Kate Cooper the more you realize he's going to have a chance to make an impact on Saturdays kind of reminds me a little bit of Eugene Hilton there at Wisconsin right
T. Y. Hilton son just watching him on Sunday in that in that Notre Dame Wisconsin game but LSU's got three Y receivers committed right now in this class we're trying to try to stack them and Kate Cooper's
guy that certainly I can see you know making an impact on Saturdays and then we'll see what he's
“able to do beyond that but really good find for them I think the other note here is like LSU's up there”
recruiting in Pennsylvania it's been a while since we've seen them kind of expand that far out but at the very least Lane Kiff and LSU extending and offering taking a commitment from a Pennsylvania three star receiver certainly got a continue to monitor him to see if they may be found something there somebody doesn't need a lot of additional scouting but again this show is more for the casuals and we want to embrace the recruiting casuals right there's a lot of college ball die hearts
who are recruiting casuals we'd like them to become recruiting die hearts as well and check out all of the industry work over 24/7 sports but Eastern Royal five star receiver current Texas commit but LSU may not be done here what what what we got on him yeah but I mean we talk about flip season right and and we are entering it and Eastern Royal's kid right there in New Orleans brother Martin high school he has been linked to LSU I mean probably since he was 12 years old you know back
in the days on on the youth you know in the youth leagues and commits early to Texas I mean

on on Monday morning after Eastern Royal was in Tiger Stadium on Saturday was in there taken in the scene is is the smart money is on LSU but at the same time you know Texas Steve Sarkision they've they've got a lot out of these wide receivers in turn of how they use them so this is a recruitment to track over the next three months especially both of these teams continue to keep winning and yeah you know we are in the compensation era there's a lot of packages out there there's a lot
of numbers being thrown around but here's the reality I mean both of these schools want this individual I don't think it's gonna come down to a dollar sign in terms of who's gonna compensate Eastern Royal more but he he's a game breaker might be the fastest man ever to come out of Louisiana he doubled at the Louisiana 5A track me this spring yeah he won the hundred and the two hundred shattered a 46 year old record when he did it in the in the pouring rain you know he is he is a thick
thick inside receiver read I'm almost 21 or 15 pounds at at the opening jiles but he he can roll and I kind of love the cop from from Gabriel Brooks the National Career National Recruiting Analyst comparison to OBJ a little bit so certainly wanted to kind of monitor and again I said it right what
“is this window for LSU when it comes to talent acquisition I think it makes it a little bit easier”
to sell Eastern Royal on the lane kiff and lead tigers they're also gonna play a little bit of defense though five star tied in a mod Hudson they got the other schools tended to pursue pretty heavily yeah and he too was at the LSU game on Saturday night and and but I think it was a year ago when we were doing this last fall we kind of brought up a mod Hudson and how unique is and I would encourage everyone to check out the story that Eric Bossy on on the 24 seven sports basketball side wrote
about a mod Hudson a few weeks ago a mod has a chance to be the best to sport prospects since Ronald Curry back in in 1998 so right we break him as 18 overall in in the class of twenty twenty seven number one tied in the basketball guys him as as the number seventeen overall basketball prospect this is a kid that wants to play both sports in college LSU tons of times there openings right now in basketball I'm not sure you've been following these developments here I haven't yeah and and hey
trained as trained as green the tied in for some minutes for the tigers at some point but Nebraska's

a hooper I think but like was a really good high school quarterback at least shoot there's gotta be more but what like Pablo Benchera with the magic I mean he was just quarterback at one point Anthony Black who's also on the magic I guess he was a wide receiver at at one point he's just been like a while since who is the guy who played like quarterback and basketball for Duke this would have been like 10 to 12 years ago like somebody in the chat like Ron Paulus maybe

So, let's step into the trait lab and we use a lot of different measurables at 24/7 sports
“obviously Ivens I think you've been really ahead of the curve on this. What do you got for us today?”
Oh, but you said all right, what is one of your big takeaways? I don't want to nerd out and like the opener as I sat on my couch for five days and watch games. I noticed a lot of the guys making explosive plays around the country week one where part of what we call the over 22 under 11 club and what is that? All right, so over 22 means you clear 22 feet in the long jump and then under 11 is under 11 seconds in the 100 meter dash and you would think all right there's
price so many of these athletes out there every year and there's really not. I think of the UC report database, you know, we're talking under like 150 guys that are actually playing FBS football so it's a small small fraternity but in week one, right, to court you more at Oregon get a 62 yard touchdown catch. Isaiah Satenga at Oklahoma 88 yard punt return touchdown tray Richardson for Louisville he had a 62 yard touchdown catch, Marquise Johnson 70 yard touchdown catch at Mississippi State,
Malcolm Simmons had a 64 yarder for Texas tech and you know there's others in the club it's not just the receivers, co-apparage, K.J. Bolden, J. Timons, Isaac Brown at Louisville, Terry Bussey, Reed Harris, Evan Stewart and it goes on and on so it's it's the small club but to me like one of my big week one takeways is okay these are the guys that are creating the explosives consistently in a variety of different offenses and usually they are maybe the the biggest individual but man
the acceleration and you know they can shoot out there extremely fast so those were the that
Was a big takeaway week one hey this this over 22 under 11 you know something...
because it's not a math equation right they if you still have to play football we can't just
throw a bunch of track guys out there but those guys certainly answer the call week one and Ivan's what stands out to me just thinking back specifically to those touchdowns over the weekend right with everybody playing so much more to shell now and trying to like deny the explosive play over the top a lot of those were catching run like guys who can you can like get on it and bust it from a dead stop or like they'll take a comeback spin out and and just be you know be gone obviously
you you saw the awesome moves at the core input up there you know Satania as well trade
“Richardson was I believe a catch and run you know down the sideline there and he had a 30 yard run as”
well yeah I mean like the guys who can catch ball underneath which increasingly I think is where the ball is being funneled by defenses as they realize like man the analytics on not a lot and he explodes over the top really you know it's a boring way to watch football but it is an efficient way to play football like the ability to actually hit explosives from underneath is is really important so I know you got a couple of guys circled here who actually meet this this year let's go through
these first one up Osani Gales Alabama commit who you and I being in Florida then he's at IMG like this dude's got some juice man he is fun yeah and the player cop for him is McCoy 11 right so he's at IMG academy and I think a lot of a lot of viewers a lot of listeners think all right IMG academy you know these wide receivers like they get the ball all the time and that is that is actually not the case you know go back to Cornell Tate who wrapped up at IMG academy he was a guy
that you know never had a thousand yard season right so you really have to get out in the values
individuals and Osani Gales is someone that you know we've seen a play a ton of seven on seven ton of private workouts and I'm a huge believer on him I mean you seem right there kind of knocking on the door of five stars status through three games but this kids got 14 catches
“216 when yards and three touchdowns I think he's an elite separator no lead route runner you”
mentioned it right can he can he take one of these underneath routes and and find paider and that has been the case through the first few games there at IMG academy a kid that's originally from California Alabama beat out Washington back during the summer months I talking with Tom Lloyd who's been all over this recruitment you know national inside of 24 seven sports he thinks you've got to continue to watch Washington here in that recruitment obviously
Husky's big win over the weekend there in the apple cup but yeah this is a guy that isn't doing track now at IMG because they don't have that multi sport participation but what he was able to do in high school and I think about him and a kale and a board attack I mean this is a guy that is going to produce some chunk play so he is one of the over 22 under 11 club here in the 2027 cycle all right I did we have to talk about four states today in the show given one last night
but you know well I just money actually really to show on on Wednesday Sean Green came to County Georgia powerhouse program there in in the peach state what do we like about him same thing right stay qualifier like the 102 hundred and long jump as a as a junior there and one of the higher classifications in the in the peach state heck of a start to his senior season 14 catches 284 yards and five touchdowns that's over 20 yards per catch as a senior it's the same thing you know they they
find him ways to get the ball in space and when he finds that runway I mean good luck catching him and you know yeah obviously not the ideal Monday night there for for Florida State but Mike Norfeld and that often so I mean that they try to get those guys the opportunity and and McKi Dansey one of the Florida State's why receivers he he was also in the same club here so he's been a fun one and you know a lot of schools were in on him early Florida State's the one
that made the biggest move I'm interested to see okay as the season progresses and maybe there's some turnover some change there in Tallahassee just someone looked to add one of these
explosive playmakers in Sean Green but you know he's certainly got talent has always been a
“favorite of mine I remember watching him out of camp two years ago and it's one of those kids”
were checking the roster and you're like I don't know who this is but he continues to make plays so well definitely wanted to give Sean Green a shout out here and the final guy here Tory Pitman who's a dude who I had my notes from the battle Miami camp like as as a safety like this guy was all over the place man just like closing distance quickly and and it makes sense he's a 2211 guy like like the we committed in Nebraska he's from Nebraska look at that yeah yeah and uh safety's
and these receivers are where we see the most of the of the 2211's right so I brought up Troy Parachand and KJ Bold and Tory Pitman you know I was watching Tray Taylor right so then Nebraska quarterback
In his week one game it was Miller South or Miller North and and Tory Pitman ...
the field again six tackles pass break up to caught two touchdowns on on offense I mean this guy
it sounds so simple but range range range range but this guy can get to every like little quarter of of the field then AAU is where he made his mark and in the long jump he's he's continued to run track there in the state of Nebraska you know there are a lot of parallels to me of of Xavier Nowamka kind of will be the last blue chip safety out of that you know Midwest region and I you know he was a five star I know you know he wasn't drafted but he did just make the Kansas City Chief
“53 man roster as a UDFA so we want to give a shout out to Xavier and yeah Tory I think he's he's a”
problem solver right with with this safety position a guy that can clean up some mistakes so Nebraska it seems like we keep talking about their recruiting class that rule you know this is a big
get for them all right let's go ahead and hit our final break out well second final break here second

this previously right you know without accelerated recruiting has gotten yeah sure there's some schools that are making a senior evaluations as and that run up to signing day but a lot of programs a lot of departments they've already shifted to the juniors the high school juniors and and trying to you know get the foundation in place or build out the foundation of those recruiting classes and Antoine cornbread atoms is a kid that has picked up offers in the past week from Oregon and Texas
and him now he is a a two way playmaker right so get to done at that wide receiver and get to done at safety you'll see him on the screen right here also getting a done on on special teams as a as a kick returner played a sophomore year in the state of Mississippi now he's at bailer there in Tennessee and through three games I mean this guy has been awesome but I think the big debate is going to be where do you play him I know Ole Miss and some other schools like
him on offense I have a hunch that Oregon and Texas A&M given what they do in the secondary with their safeties they like him on defense this has got it's almost in the in the 22/11 club but to to me on defense just how he flows to the football you'll see him right here open field tackler he gets it done and what's funny but is I was watching a game and I had him confused for a senior wide receiver that's committed to play Tennessee just kind of similar builds on them similar
numbers got was confused on you know what helmet I was looking at so I think you get it done on on offense ceiling to me is higher on defense give me those guys on defense but cornbread atoms I mean heck of a nickname like he's one where you know sometimes but you go on these school sites and you're like wait when did this kid changes name to yeah you feel like cool later or choose like wherever he signs please just we can listen as cornbread atoms because it's certainly a fun one
that's got to be an NIL deal and meet like if he's a star like what whatever the big cornbread brand is like it needs to be partnered up with him you know right now like that that is like the way he closes distance there is is pretty impressive like like to you know if you look at the one clip where he's he gets the quarterback but he also has to keep leverage on on on the on the bubble there and like like really does a great job but I was that's that's a good find man that's
that's a cool sector where we're gonna keep doing this we would we like to show love to these guys you know who are continuing to improve his seniors and you know like some of my research shows like some of these guys just look through the to the cracks or the guys who do you know kind of more
“break out as a senior also guys who I try to remember the actual population but I think it was”
from like hometown under 3000 people right so it makes it a more difficult evaluation if you
never seen a kid in person like because sometimes the competition is a little bit sketch you know
I spent like a little bit on verified you know testing times and obviously you know he does thankfully for us but and then also guys who transfer like multiple times it I think that's probably not a positive thing in general but sometimes like you can't slip through the cracks a little bit if you're like a three school and four and four
Four years type high schooler which is kind of a sentence I think you probabl...
been able to say up until the past couple years when these guys transfer you're not stopped now but up in four times when the evaluation starts with at fourth high school and four years it's normally not a good thing but hey in the case of you know cornbread outups going to the banklor school there in Tennessee like you know what the some of those boarding schools have done up there it's you know they continue to add talent and talent and right now cornbread outups for us you know he's not 96 in the class of 28 rankings right so those
“those are the juniors this has got it's going to certainly scale up and again I think as you know”
schools kind of build out their you know wishlist when it comes to recruiting I mean this is one where the CFP contenders are are going to have him circled so keep an eye on where I think he visits you know over the next few months in terms of that'll give you an idea of what schools are involved and again what's going to be fascinating to me with him all right almost like some receiver does he want to play receiver or does he you know what it will be in the secondary somewhere as well because
we've also seen that defensive backs are getting paid a lot of money in the NFL these days yes they are all right we'll hit our final break here and on the flip side let's talk a little current college guys little preview of a game I think we're both really excited to watch this weekend look at that and of course Paramount has UFC now which is fantastic as well speaking of being company men on CBS 330 pretty fun one here I was we have Mississippi State traveling to Minnesota like a lot of guys from
this that we are really excited to talk about probably none more though then Camario Taylor who I know you and I both loved out the elite 11 and like that was what two elite 11s ago Mississippi State quarterback this guy's got some serious news to him I call him a lottery ticket
“and yeah you said we we loved him at the elite 11 finals I think we loved him on day three because”
the day one and day two was kind of cover your eyes and maybe just see where the football goes and yeah and for those not familiar Camario Taylor what you were just talking about blood from from a small town small smaller school there in Mississippi I mean this guy was extremely raw coming out but as a senior he really started on and he finishes Mississippi's 3A Mr football there
went 11 and 3A as a senior you know let his teams was third straight appearance in the

actually ever happened I but also always thought like very interesting relationship marriage between
him and Jeff Levy but you look at what Camario did last year you know it's kind of package duty package duty starts the egg bowl and then what he did in week one and man this guy starting to figure it all out it's all coming together I mean he is super sized and he can throw the football around the yard he can rip it all over the field I mean you look at him and just like oh if he hits he's like no mortal world traffic potential like now the the F is doing a lot of work there
