Welcome to our daily rules of remediation.
meditating on eternity. Let's begin in the name of the Father in the Son in the Holy Spirit. Amen.
“Let's call to mind all those who have promised to pray for. I believe in God the Father Almighty”
creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under punches pilot. It was crucified
died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven
and he seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen. Our Father, who art in heaven, hollowed be your name. I kingdom come, I will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us a stare, daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
“And let us not in too temptation, but deliver us from evil amen. Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is”
with thee blessed our Thou among women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us in our ensnowed at the hour of our death. Amen. Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed our Thou among women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us in our ensnowed at the hour of our death. Amen. Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed our Thou among women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us in our ensnowed at the hour of our death. Amen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning of the sound of our shall be,
world without end. Amen. Our first mystery, the beginning of Saint James' letter,
“is very famous for its discussion of faith and works. It's where we get the well-known line that”
faith without works is dead, but while Saint James is talking about the need for works, he writes this, "If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food and one of you says to them, go in peace, be warned and well-fed. Without giving them the things needed for the body, what good does that do? If you're passing a freezing, starving homeless person, and you say, I wish you, well, I wish you food and warmth, and you don't actually do anything to help them.
It's useless, obviously, which means actually that not only does faith need works to be real, living faith, but also love needs works, to be real, living love. Our Father, who art in heaven, hollowed be your name. By kingdom come, my will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us a stay or a daily bread and for give us our trespasses. As we forgive those who trust us, pass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us in earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us in earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us in earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, blessed is a fruit of

thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us in earth, now in the hour of our death, amen.
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, blessed is a fruit of”
thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us in earth, now in the hour of our death, amen. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, as now
never shall be, world without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus, forgive us, our sins, save us from the fires of
hell, lead all souls to have an especially those most in need of thy mercy. Our second mystery, we often emphasize how important it is to tell those around us that we love them. We have to tell our spouses, our kids, our family and friends, we love them, and that's true enough. It is important to say, I love you, just like it's important to verbally profess our faith every Sunday, but verbal profession, as St. James points out, isn't enough, not for faith, not for love.
We have to actively love others, and what that means in practice is two things. We have to make
“sacrifices for the good of those we love. That's what it means to actually love people. That's”
what we're supposed to be doing. Make sacrifices for the good of those we love. Our Father,
who art in heaven, hell, would be your name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us a stare, daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil eye men. Hail Mary, full of grace to Lord is with the blessed, our Thalamong women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for sinners, now in at the hour of our death they men. Mother of God, pray for sinners, now in at the hour of our death they men. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with the blessed, our Thalamong women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for sinners, now in at the hour of our death they men. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with the blessed, our Thalamong women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. never shall be world without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of
hell, lead all souls to have an especially those most in need of thy mercy. Our third mystery, to love someone means to will their good, to choose their good, to work toward their good, and it always involves sacrifice. To tend to someone's physical needs, for instance, requires sacrifice, a mother or father's sacrifice of sleep for their colloquy baby. The sacrifice of doing what you would like so you can work to support your family.
The sacrifice of your own comfort when you tend to sick relative or make a meal for a friend who's
Families having a difficult time, certainly a sacrifice of money if you're go...
and the church. And even more, when you try to sacrifice for the broader human good of the one
“you love, like the sacrifice involved in being patient with a struggling teenager,”
the sacrifice involved in putting up with the difficulties, let's say, of elderly parents. The sacrifice of opening your home in a cheerful way through invitation and hospitality to really foster friendship and above all the sacrifice of time and listening to people who need to share the difficulties in their lives. This is love. This is real love. Not a cheap sentimentality. This is love that pleases our Lord because it serves the bodies and
souls of his beloved children. But there's a greater love still. One that sacrifices not just
for the natural good of others, but for their super natural good. Our father who are to have and hellow would be your name. Like Kingdom Con, I will be done in Earth as it is in heaven.
“If a sister daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,”
and lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed, our thumb, and women blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us in our ensnown at the hour of our death, amen. now, never shall be, world without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus? Forgive us, our sins, save us from the fires of
hell. We get all souls to have an especially those most in need of thy mercy. Our fourth mystery, at the end of the day, the only good that matters for anyone, including the ones we love, is holiness. So if we really love people, then the main thing we should be doing is sacrificing for their holiness. So stop for a second and think of the people you would say you love the most on earth. What are you doing to sacrifice for their holiness? And if you're not doing
anything, how much do you really love them? One of the things that made Job in the Old Testament, such a righteous man was his sacrifice for his children's spiritual welfare. We read that habitually, he would offer prayers and sacrifices for each of his 10 children to offset any of their sins. So do we pray for our kids and those we love? Do we fast for them? Offer homes on their behalf? This is the number one way to show that our love for them isn't just emotional or verbal.
It's real.
we're dead. Suffreens in purgatory will purify us, but they won't help anybody else.
“And there's no suffering in heaven. If sacrifice for another's good is the way we show love,”
then this is our time. So what can we do? It's really simple. Offer your daily rosary for loved ones by name. Go to Daily Mass. The perfect and infinite active intercession by Jesus. And when the bread and wine are placed on the altar, place those loved ones by name on the altar. Or fast and offer it up for the conversion and holiness of loved ones and friends, fast from screens and unnecessary entertainment and offered up. Fast from the things that cause you sin and offer it up. And that will help
with your own conversion and theirs. There are really simple practical things we can do to offer
prayer and sacrifice. Let's make sure we do it every day. Our father who art in heaven,
“hollow would be your name. That kingdom come by will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us”
stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses. As we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil Imen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, as now in the shower shall be, world without end, Amen. Oh, my Jesus. For your rest are sins, savers in the fire of the house, read all souls to have, and especially those most in need of thy mercy. Our fifth mystery.
The resolution from this meditation should be very clear. Think of the people in your life, your family members, friends. Maybe just someone in your circle who you know could use help. Can you help them materially? Can you help them personally? You can definitely help them spiritually, like committing yourself to praying and offering up suffering and sacrifices on their behalf. So what
“is your specific concrete plan to help them? Our Father who art in heaven, how do we be your name?”
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us a stay, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not in to temptation, but deliver us from evil Amen. Your Mary full of grace, the Lord is with the blessed

end Amen. All my Jesus. For give us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to have an especially those most in need of thy mercy. Same Michael, the Archangel, Defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God review him, we humbly pray, and do thou oh prince of the headliest, by the power of God cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits who prowled throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. In the name of the Father
and the Son of the Holy Spirit Amen, I feel like I haven't asked you in a while, which you were
thinking about. Well I was thinking first that I didn't put enough emphasis in this meditation
on offering up suffering for the conversion of our loved ones because the one thing we all have to give is suffering. And you know, there's a really, there's a really good simple practice that almost nobody does anymore. The morning offering, where you wake up in the morning and you say, Father, I give you my prayer, my work, my joy, and my suffering. I united to that of Jesus on the cross made present in the Mass and I offered for and then name the people you love. Then
that day, any suffering you have, it's already offered for that person. And then it's even better through the day if you renew that offering. Let's say, I don't know, you have some physical suffering and you just say, Lord, I offer this for so and so. Because no one escapes suffering and what are we going to do with it? I feel like too often it's really easy to say, oh, that's that's really tough. I'll pray for you. And then just move on throughout the week. But if you're doing that,
you can not only pray for someone constantly, but when you see them, you can really, it's really meaningful, not just when you say, I will pray for you. But hey, I've been praying for you.
And it's really powerful because I have friends who are suffering chronic illnesses,
terminal illnesses and when they say to me, hey, I've been offering this thing or that thing for for your family, for your work, for because you know they're suffering. Yeah. And it's just one of those things that it doesn't make the pain of that suffering different, but it gives you the drive to suffer and to suffer well and suffer more patiently. Keep you really hopeful. So it's just a good practice. It does transform your suffering. Well, Victor Frankel learned in Auschwitz. I think he was
In Auschwitz that the only people who survived were those who found meaning i...
a purpose and suffering is one of, we all have loved ones who are far away from God. And maybe
the most powerful memes to help save them is offering up our suffering, but we waste so much suffering.
“There are so many opportunities to show love, but I think because it's not a requirement for love,”
we think that it's kind of off to the side. It's not the main course, but it's a part of it. How we show love, how we pray for each other, even just saying it often, but showing it often with actions, it's all part of love. And if you just break it down to only ever saying it, you don't feel love in the same way. I think one of the other greatest ways to show love what people need, they need friendship. And for I think friendship is a combination of,
“I have an equation for friendship. Time, plus, a shared activity, plus, good conversation,”
equals friendship. But often, we don't think we have the time, it's hard to think of an activity we can both do together that will like and takes an effort to have good conversation. But that's the sacrifice. That's the sacrifice. Too, especially if it's going to be a drive to go see your friends, it's good because it's hard, it's good because it is a sacrifice. Or if you're really tired and your brains kind of just
spinning its wheels in the mud to really force yourself to find a way to have good conversation be really present and push through as a sacrifice for love. Yeah, it's a sacrifice for love.
And then how amazing it will be when we get to heaven. And there's a phrase where Jesus says,
"What is done in the darkness will be revealed in the light." And we can apply that to simple things, like judgment. But it's also the hidden sacrifices, the hidden prayer, all that will be revealed of all. And your loved ones who don't know what you're doing for them, now, it's frustrating, we can tend to not feel appreciated for what we're sacrificing now. That will be revealed, they will know it, they will thank you for it. Yeah. And you will rejoice together for eternity.
I would have never applied that to this meditation, but that's very helpful because very often we also
might, in the same places where we could love, we resent or we expect more than what we're given, or we just have that kind of judgment that we keep in the darkness, but we think it's fine, because we're not doing anything against them. So what are they going to find out about
“in the final days? Is it how much you loved them, or how much you were kind of ticked off all the time?”
Yeah. Well, thanks for the conversation. Thank you. Let's be apostles of friendship, good conversation, and the rosary. Share this with others.
