I had seen people who had success in the industry back till I was 12 years old.
I didn't have success in the industry until I was almost 50.
So it was like 40 years of never really seen a lot.
And even when I started in the industry, I didn't have success in any way shape or form. But finally figured out how to get to residual income and that was great. We were traveling 130 days a year. These didn't six-figure income,
but, individually, it didn't suck. And when COVID came along, everybody stopped. Terrence Campey is a Christian pastor, author, and international speaker in trainer. With more than three decades of leadership experience in the peer-to-peer commerce industry. Alongside his wife, Mary, he has become one of the industry's top-income earners, while helping people grow in leadership, faith, and purpose.
I was trying all kinds of different things, everything cost me money. I just lost money through that process. A good friend of mine got in touch with me about this project that they were launching. I said yes, not really caring about it. And so, turns out, about two years in, literally, God dropped in our lap,
an extract that had never existed before for human consumption.
The living your legacy podcast for those who live to leave a legacy. Hi, welcome to everybody back to another episode of Living Your Legacy Podcast. I'll be your host today, Jay Slangin. We're here in sunny South Beach, Florida, and we have special guests that came from another sunny spot.
“But, tell us all about yourself, where you from, and what's going on, what's up?”
Yeah, it's been great being here. From Las Vegas, we were walking down here and I was thinking, "Yep, dry heat better than a wet heat." But, yeah, excited to be here. Yeah, but the dry heat could be better, but that Vegas dry heat, I did live two years there. It's a whole different level of dry heat, man.
Wow, that is correct. Now, the benefits of that is you wake up and your hair is perfect, right? You don't have that little puffy, that puffy factor going. The women really appreciate that, but, man, doesn't get hot, you know? Yeah, but Vegas is a little interesting because it's a little bit false advertising with the weather.
You know, people think it's hot, you get there during the winter, it gets cold, man. Yeah, I think it actually snowed two years ago. A little dust thing, it was crazy. I think I'm where you live, yeah.
“Yeah, I think it's a little known fact that it's hot in the summer, no doubt you can't dress it up,”
it's just hot. But that's just like two months, it's two months of bad, the rest of the year, it's pretty darn nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's more like three months, come on. And yeah, after you accolade, it's only two years. Okay, okay, yeah, I was there two years ago, you didn't get to accolade.
So, we are here for Kingdom creators, one of our new shows, and I've had a couple of guests, and they've all been quite amazing, right? Tell us about your business, and I guess how does faith play a part in that? Yeah, well, I've been a pastor for 10 years, I've been an entrepreneur for 18. Okay, I tried to be an entrepreneur for 10 years before I actually was one,
I couldn't figure out how to make money as an entrepreneur, and to keep my employment status. But it's not easy. It is not easy. It is not easy. The thing I've realized that most people, that's the difficulty in the transition,
is transitioning the mindset from employee to entrepreneur. Yeah, they are not the same thing.
“It's a complete, well, you might say differently, right?”
But it's a whole different kind of leap of faith, right? And it's betting on yourself, right? But I'm not a betting person, but if I had to bet on someone, you know, I'd want to be able to bet on myself and say, hey, look, I can do it, right? So, but for you, it's a, it's a two leap of faith, right?
So, but you didn't discover that until later on. So, yeah, talk to us about that somehow.
Yeah, I had always wanted to, I had the idea of freedom.
And to me, entrepreneurship is freedom. Now, I work, you know, I still put a lot of hours in, not because I have to, but because it's my passion, it's my purpose. It's, for me, it's what God put me on the earth to do. Yeah, impact people, how do I do that?
A lot of different ways, some people, when I impact them, it's about them coming to our church, you know?
Other people, they join our business.
Other people, it's, you know, just meet and we're doing life together.
It's all different things, but in terms of that entrepreneurship, it really comes down to what you said, bedding on yourself.
“And I, personal opinion only, I think a lot more people are going to have to do”
that or something similar to that because of the rise of AI. Oh, yeah, we haven't even touched on that today, but, but AI is going to displace a lot of jobs. It already has, especially in the knowledge base, industries, people are going to have to take a leap of faith,
because the jobs out there, it's just not what it used to be, right? And when you are planning for a job these days with the help of AI,
everyone's looking amazing, right? You got AI bots crawling every,
you know, 100, 200, 100, 1000 applications for that one position, right? So it's, it's just so hard to stick out, and they either, A, have to do something different to stick out, right? Or be kind of going a new direction, and a lot of people, that's entrepreneurship, right? Exactly. And so a lot of people are taking that faith-based leap and saying,
“going into the unknown, into the wild blue yonder, right?”
And it's, it's just difficult, right? But it's exciting as well. Yeah, yeah, I think the people who embrace it will be exciting. The ones that don't embrace it, it's going to be really uncomfortable for them. And, and I think that's, you know, I, I get to deal with a lot of people. We've had tens of thousands of people and joined our particular company here
over the last couple of years, and all walks of life, all walks. I was talking to a gal the other day, multiple degrees, medical doctor, psychology, on and on, and it was really interesting to me, because she said, at the very beginning, she had more wallpaper on her wall than in her bank account. So more paper on the wall than her bank account. Yeah.
And she had all these degrees, and I was like, I didn't say this, but I thought, wow, that's, that's not great. But there's a lot of people like that. With those degrees comes a lot of debt from school and education, right? Yeah. Getting your doctors is not a cheap pattern. And yet, today's world, it's, it's even as a doctor, it's hard to kind of pay that back,
because it's all different kinds of doctors, right? So it depends.
“That's why a lot of people are going at the plastic surgery, because of pace, right?”
Yeah. But if you want to get into the doctor, because you like to help people, and maybe you're in a position where, you know, it doesn't pay as much as plastic surgery does or whatever, and it's hard to pay back those dues. Oh, 100% and particularly for doctor, this is the topic for today, but, but they have the malpractice insurance that they got to keep going after they stop practicing. So there comes a time when they can't ever stop.
And this, this becomes the thing that I noticed, because I watch people, they tend to go through seasons in their life. There's some, um, their time pour, right? And a doctor is a lot like that. They just give all their time to the, to other, their patients, their time pour. They don't have a really, the ability to live and enjoy life. Other people are, they're bank account poor, they're financially poor. But a lot of times that's a season of their
life, something, like, for us through COVID, I mean, and, uh, but then other people are health poor,
and they're not always in poor health, but they move through seasons in some stay in that season
for a long time. And so, um, so people, I believe that what's about to happen is a lot of people are going to find themselves financially poor because of this situation with the changing job market. Uh, I saw an article this morning in the UK, uh, the cost of living over the last five years has gone up 400 percent, but wages have gone up 39 percent. Yeah. And advertising and marketing towards everyone is gone up through the roof too. So people have spent more and it's just kind of,
like, everyone's just getting into debt, right? Yeah. Because, of course, I don't teach you about, you know, credit and debt when you're in high school, which is so important, uh, and I feel like our education system really does have to play catch-up, right? Uh, yeah, there's news now of, uh, the set that, like, you know, Florida and Miami in particular is drawing in a lot of billionaires, right, in a lot of rich folk, right? And so these rich people have building these new schools. And now
this talks about this new completely, like AI run school that they're talking about building. And, you know, our education system doesn't, doesn't move quickly, right? People and there's so many things that when you get out and you're older, like, oh, why did I learn about that when I was
Younger?
who move in here? Why is that no state tax? No state tax. Yes, of course, there's a lot of reasons. I know, they know how to keep their money. Same thing in Nevada. Yes, I mean, it's the biggest reason people move there, even California, because California's got crazy state tax. Yeah. And so, you know, to me, it leads to why somebody should even think about entrepreneurship, even if they have a job, they should still have a business because you can take advantage of the tax code as a business
“owner, where you can't, as a straight employee. Dude, that's what made us as a country. We left”
England because of taxes, right? Jesus, you know? So yeah, so you are a minister for for 10 years now.
And entrepreneurial for 18 years, you had a business and we went all through an amazing,
but yeah, COVID ruined that first business. Tell us about the rebirth at what stage of your life and yeah, and just growing a second business after it all falls down. Well, particularly in the industry that we're in, we call it peer to peer commerce, trust commerce. Most people know it is network marketing and a lot of people have a negative perception of it because of what they've seen people do or not do. But when it works, everybody wants the results, where you can get paid
every week and not have to go to get up and go hunt money down every day, everybody likes my
“idea. So for the longest time for decades, I had seen people who had success in the industry”
back till I was 12 years old. I didn't have success in the industry until I was 49 almost 50.
So it was like 40 years of, I've never really seen a lot and even when I started in the industry,
I didn't have success in any way shape or form. But finally, if you're good at how to get to residual income and that was great. I mean, it was really great. We were traveling 130 days a year, making a decent six-figure income. Residually, it didn't suck. And so we were doing that. But it was in the travel space and when COVID came along, everybody stopped. Oh, of course. And so we were trying to keep the wheels on through 2020 and ultimately, because of a bunch of wrong bad
support decisions that our corporate team made. We ended up in a situation where we merged with
“another company. And in that company, it was a completely different field, different”
energy, different, it was products, nothing we ever wanted, but it was where we ended up. Gave that a year that didn't work. And then I was, I was done. I was just done with the whole industry. I didn't want to, I wanted to try to find something else. And so this was, you know, we're now we're in a 2022. So we've got the, we're full on into the COVID results. If you will, you know, what, where the world got to, which was wacky. And so then I was trying some other things on my own,
just to create income. Now we're on to the Omakron, very, the Omakron, very it. Divirus. Yeah. Oh my gosh. So anyway, so we, so we were trying, I was trying all kinds of different things, everything cost me money. I just lost money. And everything I tried to create residual income, because I really wanted residual income. And, and this is where I'm 60 at the time, 60, 61. And through that process, a good friend of mine got in touch with me about this project that
they were launching. And I said, yes, not really caring about it, not really, I didn't do anything for 18 months. But I was, I was in, I was part of it. And the idea was to build a market place of products that were unique, you know, products that didn't exist anywhere else. Well, it's not easy to find products that don't exist anywhere else because they don't exist anywhere else. And, but it's what we wanted. And so turns out, about two years in, literally, God dropped in our lap,
an extract that had never existed before for human consumption. Yeah, literally. And it was right,
we got blessed with amazing timing because in 2024, when we got that phone call, the global wellness economy had doubled from the prior five years, $6.8 trillion, $25, it was $7.3 trillion. And that's a whole bunch of people looking for natural products because of the whole COVID thing. Yeah, that was so disastrous for so many people. People started looking for more natural alternatives to their health. That and we're being shoved down into our, you know, into our daily lives, all this just crap,
you know, like when people think of American food when you're abroad, they just think junk food, right, junk, like cheeseburgers, fast food. Honestly, what is American food? It's like corporate
Food, right?
then we do over here in the States. So we're like getting the worst of the worst corporate food, right?
“We're getting the corporate greed ingredients. And it's quite sad, right? If you want to peel”
it all back, you have big food colluding with big pharma to get people sick and overweight as early in life as possible to get them on drugs for the rest of their life. Yeah, the business of obesity, right? Yeah, it's so sad. Yeah, number one money maker and big pharma, cancer. Yeah, number two, diabetes. Yeah, you start looking at what if diabetes come from, you know, the foods we take in, high blood sugar, because we have so many simple carbohydrates to come in to our food supply.
It's just, it makes you want to think, is, is the whole body positive movement from the women
who are kind of like, and to an extent, I agree about feeling good about who you are in your body,
right? Not everyone's built with the same genetics and it's okay to feel good with what you have, right? But then on that argument, it's just like, well, it's also not healthy to be over a certain size, right? So you got to get healthy and, you know, get yourself in shape or whatever, right? Like, I get this, this two sides of it, but then you think, wait a minute, did that whole movement
“start from a corporate office, you know, of this cycle that we're talking about, right?”
It's sad to think, sometimes it does, you know, who knows, but yeah, tell us more about these natural products, this new product that landed in your lap. So we got blessed two years ago, this extract of the matured hop bitter acid, it's one, there are three bitter acids that come from the flower of the hop plant. It says in beer. Hop says in beer, it's in every beer, anybody's ever consumed. Yeah. And that's a real thing. Now, the extract that we have is obviously
a higher dosage. It's 1.2 milliliters, you put it in any beverage, hot-to-cold alcohol is not alcoholic. So it was easy for people to take. Well, this was a, this is a thing for people. As we tell them, you know, you got to start this diet, you got to stop eating this, you got to do these different things. Some people do it, but most people won't, because it means change. But when they can squirt something that's odorless, tasteless, coalesce in their beverage and enjoy it,
all day long. So people started doing that. We started to hear some of the results that people
were getting and it was just amazing, Jay, because they're, like, from a health standpoint,
the number one thing we hear people sleep better. And it's because this impacts something called the vagus nerve. And almost no one even knows what a vagus nerve is. It has nothing to do with them in karaoke when you're in Las Vegas. Yeah. Yeah. That's not the vagus nerve. It's a, it's your tenth cranial nerve. It's like V-A-G-U-S. Is that right? That's right. Okay. Yeah. And now I've, there's a lot of talk about it. Right. About tapping into it, about different frequencies that
help activate the vagus nerve or meditation, right? But yeah, tell us about what the, let's talk about the vagus nerve. So long story short, the vagus nerve is, there are two states that it can be in. And it will either be in the parasympathetic or the sympathetic. The parasympathetic is also known as rest and digest. The sympathetic is fight or flight. Most people, if they're stressed out in their life or overweight, they will keep themselves in the parasympathetic state,
the fight or flight state. While somebody's there, the body's literally kicking out cortisol in adrenaline, which is great if you chase by a wild animal. It is not great to live their every day. So it's very unhealthy and you literally keep yourself stressed out in overweight by being in it. The problem, the challenge is there's not many things known that move the body into rest and digest. Medical communities have been looking for decades and haven't found it
because they want people to take a drug to get there. Yeah. You mentioned, you know, breathing, meditation, chiropractic can physically adjust it, but it's just for minutes at a time. Turns out that this extract that we got blessed by the bitter acids, when when we take in anything bitter. So most poisons are bitter. Have you ever had food poisoning? I've lived in Asia. Yes. Okay. Great. So you know exactly how bitter receptors work. Something went in and those bitter
receptors you have on your tongue and so on because it's in small intestine. And when your body figured out that that whatever went in was dangerous, it's coming out and it's going out both ends.
“Yeah. So every single time, the bitter substance, remember, short hop, bitter acids,”
every time they enter the body, the bitter receptors do exactly what they were wired to do.
They respond, long story short.
It moves the body into rest and digest and you're there for hours. Yeah. That is very, very healthy.
So now all these processes, when the vagus nerve is in fighter flight, it'll start to shut off some of the signals to 1100 different processes that are controlled by the vagus nerve. 1100. 600 of those are just in the digestive system. It controls your heart and your lungs. Yeah. It's a big autonomic nervous system, vagus nerve, brain gut connection, vagus nerve. And almost no one knows this. So what happens is the processes start to get shut off,
the signals, those processes lose connection with the autonomic nervous system. And now those processes start to move into what we will call ill health. You get things like metabolic
syndrome, autoimmune issues, curd, acid reflux, on and on and on. And people then run to a doctor
“to try to address the symptom and the doctor will never say, oh, you need to get into rest and digest.”
They will say, here's a drug for them. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Every time. So when we move there's a monthly prescription. There. Yeah. And so we have this, this extract as it turns out, moves the body into rest and digest. And because of that, man, people have had phenomenal health results. And when they do, they tell their friends. And because we caught this timing where people were looking for more natural alternatives, it just, it's exploded. We got really blessed by that.
But there's two things that there was another thing with the aloe vera plan. Oh, yeah. Tell us about that. So earlier this year, we were able to roll out a product called vera cell. And it's five ingredients. But the core component is something called manos. Ace Manon is the commercial name. And manos is available from just two sources known to mankind. Mother's breast milk
“in the aloe vera plan. Long story short, you know, aloe vera has been around for thousands of years”
and has been used medicinally for a long time. Most of her skin cuts burns like that. But that's not active manos. And that's because when you extract the manos out of the aloe vera plan, it denatures in about 24 hours. So company figured out how to stabilize the chemical structure that back in the 80s. And we got access to it here over the last couple of years. But the version that we have is four times more potent than what they had in the 80s and 90s. So really
excited about that. And the other components of it, what they do, there's two big things. Number one, cell-to-cell communication. And it's in the cell's communicating effectively that your immune system is optimized, not enhanced, not boosted, optimized. And what I thought probably same thing for you, every time I heard your immune system, I just thought, that's because you get the flu.
“Our immune system is way bigger than that. It's a matter of fact, we have and everybody has cancer.”
But we also have killer T cells running around our body. And those killer T cells are in there to go eat up cancer. And when you start looking at something called macrophage, which this increases, go to YouTube, this was videos on macrophage, I love it. We got these little like their little hunter killers man. They're running all over killing foreign, what are called proliferating foreign cells? Yeah. Things that aren't supposed to be in there. They kill it off. But if you're
immune system is compromised because we don't get the nutrition that we need back to big food. Now people start to have more disease. 80% of the people in the US have at least one chronic illness. 50% have more than one. 30 years ago, 1% had a chronic illness. Yeah, you got to ask what happened. And so it's back to that big food, big form of things. So vericill, all plants gives the body what the body needs to optimize the immune system and get people healthy.
And I'm just telling you, man, we have seen ridiculous things happen already in a matter of a handful of months. Yeah. And you said that you're kind of taking it for yourself because of you've had astonishingly, this might be Guinness record, you know, at least close to it. Six knee surgeries, right? Man. So, and now you have a term you say, I'm bone on bone when it comes to
your knees, right? And the joints. And this has been helping you with that. It's been amazing.
I mean, literally life changing. People that have arthritis understand this. You've got the information in the joints and it's just it's just pain all the time. But you got it in your knees some people have it, you know, hips that are bad, but my knees and so walking is like a four-letter word to me. It's just my wife. She loves to walk and I'm like, and I have noticed since I've started taking this, there is I don't have knee pain anymore. And I cannot tell you how
Life-changing that is because when every step is pain, it kind of keeps your ...
Yeah. And now I'm like, this is just incredible. Because now I can function better. I think better,
more energy, everything about it has been phenomenal. And I would love to talk about some of the things that I've watched it. We know has happened already, but we got regulators out there.
“Yeah, that's what I was talking about. For some, a lot of people are kind of looking for”
natural alternative remedies or just things that they can take that are good for themselves, right? How long does someone, you know, should someone give your products a chance when they're saying, hey, I want to take this. I'm curious, right? Yeah, what do you suggest?
Yeah, three months minimum three months. And here's what's up, or the body.
But that's honest with everything, you know, that's why all these workout programs are three months, you know, you have to get, you know, your body use of things, you have to train it. Absolutely. Right. And in this case, our body has trillions of cells, trillions. Yeah. Well, every four months, all trillions of those cells regenerate every four months. Yeah. So what happens as we age with the antioxidation and everything that comes from
environment, food, all the stuff, we start to age. And when the cells regenerate, they don't regenerate
as originally designed. They regenerate at age, oxidize and things like this. So that's where the
aging process comes from. So it turns out that the cells actually start to regenerate as originally designed. Yeah. This is a phenomenal thing from a health standpoint and from an aging standpoint. My son-in-law, 32 years old, had been taken very self for two months and added 12 pounds of muscle. Started thinking, but there was this morning as a matter of fact, I was like, oh wait, now I know why. I used to take, you know, not over the counter stuff to add 12 pounds of muscle back in the
day when I was working out. Yeah, heavy like that, you know. But I started to realize, when you're at the gym and you're working out when you're working a muscle, you're tearing cells, you're tearing
“muscle fibers. Yeah. The repair, as they repair the scar tissue, that's how muscles grow. Yes.”
Well, this helps recovery. That's the whole point. More white blood cells go into the body, helps the out the macrophage and helps the body to heal. But it also helps the cells to heal and recover faster. So this is why the gains were happening faster and unlike that makes a lot of sense. So it's not just for us baby boomers that have all kinds of health issues. It's for everybody, if they want to have a better health journey. All right. Well, yeah, how can people find you?
Yeah. So on Instagram, they could catch me at four higher life. That's the number four higher life. That's probably the best way. Facebook, Terry Camp, T-E-R-E, K-A-M-P-E. I'm the only one on there with that name. So they can find me there. And those are probably the two two best places. I could give an email. I suppose Terry Camp at yahu.com. Find me there as well. Yeah. Well, it's been interesting having people from Kingdom creators come on to the show and talk to them
because not everyone is faith-based, but you know, some people are doing it right. And some people are kind of doing it wrong, right? But when we sat down, you started talking about the positive positivity you're spreading, about the lives that you're impacting, telling people to kind of
“grow into their full self and to the full cells and their full potential. I really think that you're”
doing it the right way. And I'm so happy to have you on the show. And if you're interested to listen to learn more about his business, about his faith-based journey. And just more about all that he does because it was so interesting than tune in to Terry Camp for the Kingdom creators episode. And thank you so much for joining us here today. Thanks so much, Jerry. All right, thank you guys for joining us again. And we'll see you on the next episode. Cheers everyone.
