The way that I was raised and the background that I came from, there was a lo...
thinking when I learned that. I can be unstoppable. Rose Elbino is a vision-driven, compassionate, and purpose-driven mother in entrepreneur, self-made real estate investor, and the founder of Amada states. Through her work, she combines real estate investing with compassionate senior living, creating communities where older adults receive exceptional care while building a legacy centered on service, innovation, and lasting impact. I want to share my story just for the
simple fact that it is a story of coming from nothing and work myself up to where I am today. The people that choose around yourself for what you become like them, they become like you.
“You can become good at anything. Oh, no. If you want to. But the expectations that we have as human”
is that we are put here to enjoy life. Number one most amazing thing I have ever done in my life
is to be a mom. And I think that's the legacy I want to leave with them. How do you empower other women? What do you say to them? Is it a Bible verse? Is it a quote? How do you get them to switch on? I was able to switch on with... the living your legacy podcast for those who live to leave a legacy. Welcome back to another episode of the Living Your Legacy podcast. For Inside Success,
I am Ray Gutierrez joining me today moments before she films her woman in power episode is Rose Elbino. Rose, welcome to the to the pre-show of your life bump bump bump bump bump. What would it show? How does it feel? It's super exciting. Right on. I am very excited. I
“learned nervous, but I think it's going to be wonderful. Right on Rose, so what brings you down to”
Miami to our South Beach studios? What are we going to learn about you? You are going to learn something about where I came from, my background, and what I'm currently doing and how I got here. Right on. Give us a preview. What are you currently doing and let's work backwards? What is your story your north star today? Long story, but right currently I am the administrator of family care homes. I also invest in rural state also a licensed real state agent in Virginia and in North
Carolina. Right on. How is the world of real estate? It is very versatile. The real said world is not, of course, not easy. It's not hard. It can be whatever it is you want to make it to be. But it's very fun. I guess that would be the only word that I can think of. I was going to say exciting
is another word. I always like to think that a lot like finances in the stock and like real estate
is a very way a good way of like testing the temperament of what's happening in society or what's happening in culture, how folks are spending their money or spending their investments. Have you seen patterns in the last five years that are alarming or positive? What are you seeing in the in the science? I'm not a scientist, but it's a real estate. It's a real estate. I have seen
“several different changes that happen. And I think what kind of helped me to continue to invest in real”
state is the fact that sort of the past decades, years, maybe even as far as 100 years ago, real estate investing has been the core investing in United States I would say. And I think it is timeless. And so like for me, it's pretty safe. Regardless of the fluctuations that happen during the different times, based on economy or things that are happening around us, interest rates fluctuating, but nevertheless, it's one of those things that is like, you know, you just get it and you have it.
Oh, for sure. What are you doing today? Are you coaching or are you hustling the homes? Like, what is your philosophy today? Because I have a follow-up question to last. My philosophy is very simple and very personal. I am a mother of four children. Wow. My focus is mainly my children. The reason why I do what I do is because I want a better life for my children than I had. I don't do coaching. I'm not coaching. I'm not selling, you know, books or podcasts and stuff like that. But
I want to share my story just for the simple fact that it is a story of coming from nothing and work myself up to where I am today. And I think if I can help two people in the world,
I would that would be great. It's amazing to hear that you say that because a lot of folks don't
quite understand what that means. If I can help that one person, because that one person can lead to helping a thousand others. Dive deeper into that philosophy of helping that one person rise as you did.
To me, it is it's almost like, you know, energy, right?
with you become like them. They become like you. Me speaking up about my life and the obstacles that have faced and then how I got to where I'm at today. I think if one person is able to see themselves in me now or me back then and take something to help them become better for themselves. I feel like it will extend to their families and also even friends and even children. So that's my goal. What do you tell people that are afraid to pick up the phone and call someone like you?
Because they're expecting to be oversold or sold a terrible home or they don't quite understand that real estate folks are helping you ascend. What do you tell folks that are very skeptical of speaking to someone like you? Well, real estate, I know it's a profession that a lot of people think, you know, and they think of real estate agents or real estate investors. I think a lot of money is going to go out for whatever it is they get in return. However, if you have a
“toothache, you should call your dentist. So if you have experts, I feel like experts are good for”
the things that they know. I've been an investor since 2019. I don't know a few things and so
yes, I say please, I'm always willing to help people to go through the things that I went through
and that way they're not struggling with trying to figure it out on their own. I find it interesting that you don't have a podcast or a book or you're not selling our hosting or coaching program because you're very good at it. How do you reserve that energy and go? Well, no, I'm going to pick a different route. I don't have to, you know, tell the world that I'm this fantastic person podcast and books and no, you're taking a different route. How is that
worked out for you and do you feel like you might evolve into the spotlight or is it not necessary? You know, I feel like I'm not looking forward to trying to make things happen. I am I take the concept of just relaxing and allowing the universe to draw me to wherever it is that I needed the most. And so if should it be a feature podcast or a feature book or whatever that might be, I'm not against it. However, it's not like something that I'm trying to kind of
force to happen. And so even just conversating with you today, just the way that all this came together was was a very easy and everything worked out. And to me, I feel like that's the most
positive way for me to pursue my feature. Amazing. It's awesome that you recognize that divine path.
It takes a lot of folks to kind of change your frequency, almost like putting on the the 2020 vision goggles go, wow, I can truly see now. How do you, how do you inspire people to go, hey, there's a whole frequency of energy, you're not quite familiar with. My way of exploring that with you is real estate. It's like, well, yeah, did you, did you know there's this one cool guy named Jesus and he had a tax collector? Why? Yeah. Like talk about billing that village and speaking
your truth. For me, it's again more of the energy and connecting with people. There's just not much I can do if someone does not have the desire to want to do you know real estate of the transmitter in their research. Exactly. Exactly. And so I can try to beat it on somebody's head all day long, you know, like what they say, take the horse so water, but you can make him drink. And so at the end of the day, the person is going to want to want to do it. And so learning what it is that you want
“to do. Correct. You can become good at anything. Oh, yeah. If you want to. Correct. And so the desire”
for the person to want to do it to me, I think it's, it's the most important part of it. So let's
talk about your, your power as a woman as a mother. What's it like being a mompreneur and having your energy and for for unique human bodies that are ascending your legacy? What's that like for you? It is probably the absolute number one most amazing thing I have ever done in my life is to be a mom. I say it like that because children are the central of my life. I want them to grow up knowing that their mom regardless of whatever obstacles that the world or the time or, you know, whatever
throws them away that you can always rise above that. And I think that's the legacy I want to leave with them, not necessarily millions of dollars or, you know, material inheritance is more so of I want them to know that you can be and do whatever you decide to do. And you just just have to be that determined and focused. Yep. It's crazy. You just got to believe. And it's, it's it's the same that we've listened to the same story, this pathology, this, this rural or
“lesson and music and movies and everything. How did you recognize your calling? I think a lot of”
things happen when we are put under pressure. Things start to happen where you say, where am I going from here? Oh yeah. So my back was against the wall. I needed to figure out something to be able to grow as a person. And, and so learning myself, the way that I was raised and the background that I
Came from, there was a lot of negative thinking about behind it.
are very, very deep rooted, that are negative, that are not very positive, you know, like being a woman,
being a black woman, being a single mother, being an African-American. Yeah, it's just one extra thing. It's just for fun. It's just an order for you. All of that kind of can take a big toe on your center. To rise above those things is to me the most just interesting, how as human we are able to, within a drop of a hat, we can change our trajectory. When I learn that, I can be unstoppable. Yeah. So just kind of living my life that way every single day and showing my showing up for
“my children, them seeing this version of myself. Correct. It's absolutely the most important thing”
in my life. Who's the perfect client? Who's the perfect person that it can use you? Learning to upgrade yourself as a person. Everyone can use that. Everyone can perhaps see some some sort of some similarities correct between my life and theirs. And so I choose to break down the barriers. So it's not just for women. It's not just for Africans. It's not just for blacks. It's not just for single mothers. And all those negative contentations that have been put on all these group of people
it's not about that. It's about being a human. What do you tell the folks that are listening
to this? And I was born 83. So I survived. I enjoyed the 90s. Survive the 2000s. I always came
from a positive place of lights and color and love, music and war and everything. All of the the color of the rainbow. Today it's a little difficult to do that, but at the same time it's also amplified. As a person, as a individual, as a human being, that has had everything stacked against. You, how do you kind of respond to the world today? I feel like today, everyone's so quick to go, well, but me, you know, when you say you rose above, it takes a lot of confidence. It takes a lot of
perseverance to be able to rise above that noise. How do you help folks put on the right headphones,
“though? So I think it all starts with an inside. Oh yeah. Again, you were born in this country.”
You saw things differently. I was born in Sudan. Wow. Things were totally different. 83 when I was born. You were born 83. It was two different worlds. Oh yeah. And I think I'm grateful to say that regardless of the background, regardless of what you've been taught and what you've seen, there's beauty and there's the dark side of life. You can't choose one without the having the other. And so they both coexist. As you grow as a person, you learn to accept. As you're working
in your inner person, your subconsciousness to change all those things that society have put on us,
you will learn to become one with the universe. The most important thing to understand as a human
is that we're not fighting against anything. I know exactly what you mean. Like, I've had folks that sit here and their passion is dogs. They just love dogs. And I go, well, dogs are beautiful, because they're mystical creatures that don't speak to us, but they just look at us and you can just feel this ancient soul and this dog looking at us going, look at these dumb humans. They can make decisions and they can feel better good. I'm just pleasantly a dog full of energy and
wise and I've done this a thousand times for these silly humans that have done this for millennia. Gosh, how silly it is to be a human. Yes. Absolutely. To teach that, that life should always be in play. How do you motivate folks? How do you empower other women? What do you say to them? Is it a Bible verse? Is it a quote? How do you get them to switch on? I was able to switch on with making the decision that I am not what people say. What the world around me says. What my beliefs
that were deeply rooted inside my heart, right? And so changing that from inside out helped me to become the person I am today, the growth is still happening day to day. But at the same time, when you know what an outcome could be, you are more likely to go through the whatever that experience is. And so I motivate people by saying, hey, find your inner self. Just let life be life,
“you know? And enjoy it. Life is beautiful. It's very fragile. You can't plan it, right? So tomorrow”
anything can happen. But the expectations that we have as human is that we are put here to enjoy life. Correct. We are here to be able to love each other and to have the best experiences of our lives that we can. Making those type of decisions day by day and not allowing the negativity to kind of overtake us, but to focus on the positive side of things. If we did that, we'll have better peace in our lives. Absolutely. And it's beautiful because here we are in the same
Room staring right at each other.
generational history, art legacies, and you come from your planet, I come from my planet. And here
“we are in the middle of South Beach with two microphones that's talking about it. Beautiful. Isn't it”
beautiful? And this is just your podcast. You still haven't on your interview. How can people
find about more about you? Is there a website? Is there a social media handle? How can people find
“them all about you? So with the family care homes, which are residential facilities,”
these are located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Right on. And you can find my website, is my amada.com. Great. Look, in there, you'll have my information in there, my phone number, you know. Awesome. Yeah. For anyone that's watching that is a fan of yours, do you want to shout out to anyone that's watching right now? You know what, I want to shout out to my mom. There you go. You're not. That's beautiful. She's been a strong woman. She
have really helped me become the person that I am today. Shout out to my father too. He did pass away unfortunately, but he was the lighthouse of my life. And so I'm very grateful to have them as parents. Well, Rose, thank you so much for your time and energy. Such a great beautiful name. The Rose Elbino. Where's Elbino's from? From the last name. Well, Is it Talian? It's Elbino. It's Elbino. But my dad took on Elbino because he was baptized in the
“Catholic church. And he took on that name. So that's how I ended up with it. I hope our”
questions reveal more of this amazing legacy. So Rose Elbino. I'm Regusiers and we are
inside success.
