People have spit at me, people have cursed at me, people have splash water on me on rainy days.

It's, uh, we keep on moving forward. We tell them we love them, and I just love this country, and I'm trying to spread as much love as possible. That was Teege, pure joy McCoy, talking about his experience, running with the American flag across the country. He and his brother cost and joined us today to discuss their movement to reignite love for the American flag. I'm Georgia Howe, it's Monday, July 6th, and this is a special

fourth of July weekend episode of Morningwire. Teege and cost, and thank you so much for coming on. Thank you, thank you so much for having us on this short trip.

β€œSo I love this background. Where are you, where are you joining us from?”

Right, actually under the Queensboro Bridge in New York. Now, we actually just looked that up because we're not from New York or Florida, but we actually saw a pretty scenic backdrop when we just purchased the flag from Home Depot. So, uh, we thought that this would be one of the best places to do it at. Awesome. So tell us, how did you get started with your running with the American flag program? The movement started. I was landed in the bed of my truck one night

and I was looking up at the stars and I was praying to God for about 45 minutes in a most set prayer. I was asking for purpose and direction and for the opportunity to change the lives. It's not only the world, but specifically the American people. And I had a PVC pipe with a flag mounted to my truck, it was a 2009 or that point of 50. And the next day, I picked it up for 22 miles and I, uh, five different by fatherland to find me with the video and went mega viral

on the rest of history. And then shortly following that, we started doing events that were, uh,

β€œpop up runs with if you will. And they were pretty important in it, but obviously they were”

a great time. And that's where costs it just got made. And we co-founded it's unified USA together. So two months later after he started running with the flag, we're viral on social media. I changed it every way. The idea that we can start a national movement that does a event in every single state in the country to unify the American people one step and smile at a time. Right. And since that we can travel and state by state, you define people with

patriotic positivity regardless of political affiliation or any opinions that you might have. Just love and positive. Now, how many states have you done and how many do you still have left to do? What's come, which ones are coming next? We are on state five. We have 45 states we go. Yeah. And tell me what year was it that you started this? We started this about nine months ago. So the organization itself unify USA has been in the banking for about just under half a year.

But all of this has come amongst the past nine months. So it's been very hectic, although very fortunate to have rapidly grown so much. We're just trying to put all the pieces together and make sure we can utilize many Americans as possible. Every company seems to be asking the same question right now. How do we use AI? It's a good question, but there's another one that doesn't get asked

β€œnearly enough. How do we use AI without creating a whole new set of security and compliance risks?”

The problem is, most security and compliance programs weren't build for the pace of change that

we're seeing today. That's where Vanta comes in. Vanta is the number one agentic trust platform trusted by more than 16,000 companies to help automate security and compliance and stay audit ready year round. What makes Vanta especially valuable is that it doesn't just help an audit season rolls around. It helps companies identify and manage risk every day across vendors, AI tools, and their entire environment. The Vanta agent works like a 24/7 GRC engineer in the

background identifying issues, drafting fixes, and reducing vendor assessment time by up to 50 percent. Whether you're a fast growing startup or a global enterprise, Vanta is here to help you automate your security and compliance and earn and prove trust. Get started today at Vanta.com/morningwire. That's V-A-N-T-A.com/morningwire. There are two kinds of people. People who schedule their doctors appointment the minute they realize they're due. And the rest of us, finding a doctor

doesn't have to be the thing that keeps getting pushed to tomorrow. Zockdock is a free app and a website that helps you find and book high quality in network doctors so that you'll find someone you love. With more than 150,000 providers across all 50 states, you can search everything from primary care to dentist, to dermatologist, or more than 200 specialties. And appointments happen fast. I recently went online to Zockdock.com. I was feeling a little under the weather a little scratchy throat. They got me in same day. Stop putting off those doctor appointments and go to zockdock.com/wire to find an instantly book a doctor that you love today. That's zocdoc.com/wire. Zockdock.com/wire. Thanks, Zockdock for sponsoring this message. Now tell us about these runs. So do you make an announcement on social media and it's just

like a flash mob that will show up or how does it work? So essentially at first it was just like a flash

Pop up.

select. And then eventually that's where we're going at Clark School at Nashville and having these

β€œamazing and pleasant venues that we can accumulate all these people together and throw actual events”

instead of just pop up run. So it's a bit more accommodating and there's a lot more hospitality and reports that go behind it to make it an ultimately better experience for the people to come into the board. Well we have some footage that we're going to run of the run you did in Nashville and we actually this video features are my producer who's sitting right over there, Brooke. And she actually had the idea to bring you guys on because she enjoyed your runs so much.

Oh, awesome. Well thank you for this very awesome opportunity. So tell us about the response that you've been getting from people while you're running with the flag. We say all the time. It's majority positive. A lot of people think just Facebook, media or everything that's pushed to us that it would be all negative. When we say it's about 90

percent positive and 10 percent negative and we have a quote, you know, if I say that said we

tell him we love him and we keep it positive. So even for the 10 percent that hate on us, we just tell him we love him and we keep it pushing because negativity hasn't worked so why would we keep doing it? 100 percent and I asked all the time to pray for people. And even if they say no, I go my own time and I'm right for it. So we tell him we love him. We asked to pray for him and we keep it positive. Now what's so special about the American flag to you? Why did you want the American flag

to be the symbol for this spiritual project that you have going on? I think that's a great question, Ms. Georgia. And ultimately the answer to that would be we have four previous generations of active military service and we saw a lot of people dishonoring and disrespecting our colors, our starts and stripes and we thought that the absolute bare minimum with this country not only for the patriotism, but for general culture within America, that's just respect our flag. And obviously

I heard a quote the other day that says, "You can go to Russia but you can't be a Russian, you can go to French but you can't be a Frenchman." Anybody can come to America the right way and be an American. So we're going to come here at least respect our soil and respect and honor the people who fight the protected day in and day out. For people who are interested in joining your next run, where is the next one? Should they bring their own American flag and also how

β€œfit do you have to be to do this? How far are these runs? We're looking at Washington BC and of July”

early August. We don't have an exact day yet but a lot of logistics have been made and we're so excited to bring some freedom and what happened to see our capital for America to fit. We got to

let it go down a little bit though. You heard there's like this Georgia. There's put like half a million

people there on the board. We do flag giveaways at every single one of our events. So a lot of the time you don't have to bring one, but if it gets too busy like New York City is, you might have to assemble your own. Yeah, it's going to a five foot BBC. We got to have metal ones right now, but drill two holes in it. Catch American flag with zippers and then you're good to go. Three by five, three by five for American flag and hit in USA. And if you can't do that, just work some

patriotic clothing, fitness level. That's something that we get a lot. It does not matter the fitness level as we are not a race and one thing we do is tell them about the American. All right, okay, Mr. Georgia, have you heard about Indian runs? No. It's where it's essentially a run where you get a squad brand. Let's say a group of 10 to 15 people, maybe even more. And the person from the back sprints to the front and when they reach the front, the next person from the back goes. Essentially

what we do is the exact opposite is everybody from the front, turns around and runs back and the

β€œcaboose becomes the leader. And as we do that, we scream a chance. I say, who do we leave behind?”

Nobody. Nobody. This is an all-inclusive race. We want to make sure that everybody feels as if they are a part of the unification of America. And obviously, to thank back more on the military police, it's no soldier left behind. We want to make sure everybody cross the finish line equally, to make sure that they feel like they're a part equally of the unification of America. You can find us at at unify USA official on Instagram,

at unify USA on Facebook and my personal program or by personal accounts are pure joy, McCoy and kids are awesome McCoy. All right, well gentlemen, thank you so much for coming on and spreading some patriotism on the show today. Thank you so much for having us, Mr. Georgia. And God bless every single person that's a part of this production. God bless the American people, God bless our troops and God bless America. That was Tig and Cost in McCoy, co-founders of Unify

USA. And this has been a special fourth of July weekend episode of Morning Wire. Sure, make everything automatic. -How long? -No, just a few times. -No, then? -Now, now, let's go back to the story. It's about 31 July.
