>> The right club, right here, right club, today.

[MUSIC]

>> I think that's better than most, how about it?

That is better than most, better than most. [MUSIC] >> Expect anything different. [MUSIC] >> Well, the novel, Domus and Heiden,

welcome in the no-laying up podcast. Solly here, in the dumps, you know, I got the blues going on. There was a bit, there was an official blue tsunami today, T-C. >> It was a very hazzellic afternoon.

It was a blue tidal wave, it was blue from the start and it continued all the way through for what? Was that a format stretch in the middle there? So we'll get into it. >> We're going to break it all down Cody is here running the ones in Tuesdays, hello to Cody.

>> Hello, happy to be here. And I am actually happy. We're predicted to this, Solly, come on, we can be down in the dumps. >> 15, 13, called it as you heard last night here. >> We can do this, 15, 13, that was not the prediction I had going into the week.

But I think we just kind of saw it last night.

It did not feel like, you know, it wasn't a dead cat bounce at the end of yesterday. It just didn't feel like it was going to be sustainable all through singles. We are going to go through Sunday at the Soul Hime Cup. We're going to look back on the week that was right ahead of some grades. Some interesting press conference quotes, and we're going to visit some of that.

We'll do some second guessing like we do every time on these Sunday

recaps after team events and tie an official bow on the 2026 Soul Hime Cup. We did not get to watch much of Shane Lowry's 11 shot win. It's coming across my desk at the Irish Open, but we will chat briefly about that. >> He, Soul of Second. >> He's Soul of Second, that's got TC very excited.

I know the live bankruptcy filing was out this week. Not been a big focus for us, but we are going to go through some items that's Sean Doc wrote about earlier this week as well. That's our run a show for tonight's show brought to you by Titleist, the number one ball in golf and the number one ball at the Soul Hime Cup among the majority of competitors

who teed up. A titleist in the Netherlands this week, we're probably one players, Lynn Grant, and Allison Lee, the only two players to go a perfect four and oh, you hear two players say it all the time. It's so important to be playing the right golf ball model for your game.

Title says several ways to get yourself dialed in from the online golf ball selector tool. Virtual 101 consultations with certified title golf ball fitters all the way to in-person golf ball fittings. I'd like a soft golf ball, I like a ball that doesn't spin too much and I like a ball that flies lower.

It is very easy for me to get fit right into the ProV1. >> Hey. >> You're a pro one player. >> Big time. >> Big time.

We do have a lot of us. We span a lot of different golf ball types, Ben and Neil are in the specialty left dot, left dash.

I can never keep track what that is.

But the online selector tool will help you with that and you can go to Titleist.com to learn more. It's very, very, very important to be playing the right golf ball and have a golf ball. It's going to perform consistent and a variety of conditions like we saw today. You got a little messy out there today, cleared up at times, but it was some training again now.

It is. It has started and stopped raining upwards of 60 times, probably. I would say since we've been here, but we are recording this outdoor here overlooking these 16th green. So if you do hear some more rain on the roof over here, variety of sounds.

>> Or a carload of Saganza, the guardians have broken container back here behind us, you know, back here by the clubhouse as well. And yeah, do you want to have your gloating moment, do you want to have your celebratory moment here? >> I mean, I don't think there's that much to gloat about, they just, they just outplayed

them today.

I think hats off, literal hats, I took the dumb tool, hats off to Captain Nortquist,

thought she was class all week and you know, hat off to Angela Stanford as well. I thought she was, she read a clean program this week and had some challenges, some obstacles to deal with. And it was like, I really enjoyed this week because it was truly about the golf. There wasn't a bunch of other, the extraneous bullshit going on.

It was like, no, like this is high level golf, the women competed well and the set-up was awesome. The course was awesome. Fans were awesome. There was no controversy, it was just a good clean week ago, and that's like what we've

been asking for for the last five years out of this event. >> I would ask for a little bit of controversy to spice up tonight. >> Yeah, we had the angel stuff early in the week, we got a little bit of the green speed stuff like that. >> A little bit.

We tried to drum up. I don't know what got into me in the press conference, I turned it into the detective. That was the most press conference questions I've ever asked. I could kind of tell, you know, there was some things that Angela wanted to get off

For chest a little bit, I tried to help her along the way, we'll get into som...

as well. Carlos Saganda had maybe the most interesting press conference quote, because she was asked by Brentley. I was getting ready to ask this, Brentley real mind, asked what happened yesterday, evening what was one moment that was the most motivation for you coming out today, and then what

is the feeling to be able to get revenge like you did. She smiled and said, I was really happy to see that I was playing against Cupcho, she's a fighter, I'm a fighter, and I told her, look, great playing, I mean, even yesterday, what she did on 17 and 18, but today I knew she had no chance. I was like, I want to kill you, which is just, I love that was the highlight of the day

to me was that quote from Carlos Saganda. Carlos, she's got that edge, man, you know, she doesn't say a whole lot, she doesn't move quickly, but she moves with decisive action. So, yeah, we, we will break down, you know, kind of go, we're going to match by match here,

and do a tiny bit of second guessing, but as I think we'll kind of get to it was, we just,

it just never felt like the US had the horses, it felt like they were pretty fortunate

to be eight, eight as of last night, just didn't love how the draw shook out, I will, you know, do some second, we did some first guessing, I think we could say last night of sending Megan Kang out first, sending Angel Yen out third, Megan Kang drew Charlie Hall first, Angel Yen drew Lynn Grant, I think there's a case to be made from a strategy perspective of, if you get even a half point out of one of those two matches, that's a win, you're predicting

maybe, again, if I'm putting myself an Angel stand for shoes, you're predicting that Europe is going to go strong in both of those spots and trying to find a place where, I hate to say this way, but Angel Yen can kind of be a sacrificial lamb, she was completely uncompetitive this week, that's not the worst draw, I mean, she got drummed by Lynn Grant who did not even play well today, and then Megan Kang in that opening match, it was a gamble, it was

a gamble and it was a, she was a captain's pick, that's a different, different spot than Angel Yen, Angel was kind of saddled with Angel Yen this week, it was a captain's pick for Megan, Megan Kang, her question, her put her was extremely questionable coming in, a lot of players with people close to that team, that's all they were talking about was how she was not hitting the whole one, four foot puts, and it was very bad, it was extremely

bad, she had a straight eight foot put, I believe, on the seventh hole today that missed

by two cups, and I said to you guys, if I had a single put that missed by that much, I would switch to the broomstick if I hit one put like that, and for that to be a captain's

pick, and to send out first, it was a big gamble, and it did not work, Charlie Hall beat

her three and two, and that was the first point of board for team year. Yeah, Megan Boge, the first hole got down early, didn't, didn't lead at all today. I think her only birdie was the eighth hole, if I remember right, and everybody was birding. Yeah, everybody is a dribble par four, and it could not have been a much easier hole, so she literally made made zero puts all day, and took it to 16, lost three and two. But Charlie didn't play

lights out, but she did what she had to do, she got up early, and then she just played smart golf, she birdied both the parfogs on the back, and that was that. We will go through these matches in order of how they finished. Angel Yin was in Lynn Grant, Grant won this one four and three. This was only going to go one way. I think we laughed at what the odds

were on this match last night. I just could not have pictured the world. I think Angel

shot five over. Charlie told me he was going to throw all of his crypto hole in this match. We did not, I know it's, it's hot in these streets. There were no bets placed outside of any jurisdictions that were not allowed to do so, so ignore all of that, everything he's saying that did not happen. But yeah, this was, I mean, Grant, Lynn Grant made a mess of the 10th hole. Angel had to make a par put from off the

green on a par five to tie that hole, or to win that hole, even after Lynn Grant made one of our few only mistakes she made all day, just to go two up. But Grant won it easily four and three every time Angel got any momentum going. I mean, stepped up after winning 10, stepped up and hit a tree. She's not, she needs trees out in that golf course. Get a tree up by our three left of the green. It was, it was tough. And she had a tough time

on 11 this week. That was the one where she, she wiped it into the water that I didn't

see that there was water on that hole. My first glance. So, so if you weren't following

this leading up to the soulheim cup, Angel had a back injury, missed a significant portion of the year, came back rather quickly. Also had, I believe in illness that contributed her losing somewhere in the realm of 35 pounds. And she made one start prior to the soulheim cup show. I think 8176 and put Stanford in a, in a difficult situation of figuring out if she needed to, you know, was Angel going to be on the team before she made the captain's picks.

Well, she made the captain's picks. Lily, a boo ended up coming over who was somehow and I believe worse form than Angel was in. She was here as the alternate. And ultimately,

I look, I think we, you know, we talked about this for like the final month l...

This was a potential problem. And that problem played out. They're able to get a half point. Thanks to you, you leave me no in the foreball match, but there just no was nowhere to hide Angel today. And, you know, if, if whoever is playing in that match, flips that one, Lynn Lindgrent was quite beatable. The way the match shook out, the US would have retained the cup. So it's got to burn even more than to know that, I mean, I guess my question is like, why,

you know, I know Angel would say, hey, I, I earned the right to play. And I'd like to, but if you're not informed and you're not fit to play, it doesn't seem like it's just, I just wonder why she wanted to play so, so badly. It felt a little bit, dare I say selfish. I, I, I really like Angel,

I, and I think she could have been played at a role for this team without having to hit the shots.

I think she could have come over, had a ton of fun, be the team mascot. I mean, she literally dressed up as evil conneval on Saturday and dance around on the T. I think I think she could have done that, and they could have found somebody in better competitive form to take that spot. So I don't want to put, you know, well, plenty of blame to kind of pass around on the US side

and we're always going to look for a scapegoat. I don't want to put all on Angel who like,

what's in a great mood all week, tried her damn hardest was like very seriously into it. And I'm feeling for in this moment and I know, you know, something, you know, you can make a case for it. You get into competitive situation, you know, your body is just going to react to it. Your health is going to bounce back, your back feels better, all of that, and that just didn't play out, but it was, these were hard to see this coming. And these were two very evenly matched

teams coming in, even like everybody kind of knew a hit the margins are thin here. Yeah. So

unfortunate there, matched two. So the matching between this, when Allison Lee went out second, she drew Esther Hinslet from the European side, Esther had Allison on the speed bag earlier, got it all the way up to four up at one point. But she kind of fell part of a little bit on the back nine and Allison got hot as we've seen in the Americans do on this back nine. Then set that one to 16th hole to get it back to all square. Then steps up birdie 17. And this was that already,

look, the way the board was shaken out behind her, it was already looking like I do not see a path to victory without Allison come back and winning this match. And she did it. It was a stay of

execution for the U.S. ultimately, but for no her first soul time cup, as a mom, we talked about

this last time. She was eight, nine weeks pregnant during the 2020, four soul time cup was able to say anything publicly about that, had to sit out morning sessions because of morning sickness. It was back first, I, correcting the record, as it has been pointed out, she's the first American mom to play in the Solheim Cup since 2010. Apologies to all the British and European mothers out there. Yes, that was a, yeah, my hand up and the stake for me on that one.

To step up and go for no, she had mentioned she had a two and five record in the Solheim Cup prior to this. It was, I just did not, I'm not sure she saw a career in a sense like this coming back.

She had mentioned she joked I think on Friday or Saturday with Tom Abbott, she was a coworker of

Tom Abbott as a, like, earlier this year, she did come into the booth earlier this year, it was coming back now and is, is dominating the Solheim Cup, it was just awesome to see. Alison birdie six over last 10, I mean, you know, four down after 11, three, it's crazy. What a, like, what a crazy comeback. It's impressive. Cody looks like you had almost had something there. No, you guys covered it. Yeah. In the fourth match, so I made a 10, nine Europe,

the fourth match was Nellie Korta versus Mimi Rhodes, Nellie played fantastic.

She shot about minus seven. She was three up through nine. Kind of this one was never

in doubt. She ended up winning this one four and two. It made it 10 to 10. But again, there was a lot of stuff going on down the board that made it clear that this, this was not tied at this point. Loss made out of Nellie not playing in the afternoon yesterday. Not feeling well. I think that decision was ultimately ended up working great for Angel Stanford. They went three and one in the afternoon. Yesterday got a lot of points out of it. And Nellie came back in the four spot and won her match

decisively today. Hard to argue that would not be where things went wrong for the U.S. Mimi played well. Like she didn't play poorly. Nellie just won. I was, I was take, I was a little bit surprised with Captain Stanford's press conference. She was asked about the way that the draw shook out. And she put a lot of emphasis on getting the players that played a lot, rest, rest heading into Sunday. You know, like just sending them out later in the draw. And I was a little bit surprised

to hear that. I'm like, it's like 11 times 45 minute difference. Maybe it felt a little bit maybe over emphasizing an hour wake up difference between, you know, 11, 10 versus 12, 10,

Maybe, or 12, 12, 10 versus 1 o'clock.

also? Yeah, the first Friday and Saturday they arrived single team bus all at the same time.

Today there was two waves. So the early, I think the first 25, whatever shook out to be 30 minutes,

came in an earlier bus, plus those who wanted to do physio warm-up things like that here. And then there was a later bus, too. Can I use this moment to just shout out, like Cody McBride has answers to almost every question on the LP J tour. His depth and knowledge of everything going on the LP J tour. You know, well, it's something will come up. He's like, oh, yeah, the so-and-so stating so-and-so, and, oh, that's, that thing work. He just has, oh, yeah, he's got no positive strikes, too,

okay. Oh, you know, you know, all the balls and strikes didn't like the level of detail of which the inner workings, all kinds of off-the-record stuff. Like, you got that, that man has got you, all right. So I just want to shout out your massive efforts this week as well. And then this is where it starts getting weird after that. And like, it's two, it's two, basically, it's ten, ten there, and then all hell kind of breaks loose. Yeah, and this was, this was,

it just never looked good in this section of the boards. Yeah, it's, you know, they split the first

third of the board. Match five is Allison Corp, who's in Anna Kurtz-Madson, but it ends up being Andrea Leah and the Nastasia Nado who settled their match next. That was the fifth point. Nado won that one three and two. That brought Europe up to an 11, 10 leads. She won the eighth and tenth holes to get to that two-ep lead. She was just extremely solid all throughout Andrea did not have the best soul hunkup. And then Nado ends up making a great birdie from the back

bunker to close it out. Have a pretty great moment on the most, the loud, one of the louder holes you can close out of match the 16th and put a key, a key point on the board. We'll do some grades in everything later, but Nastasia Nado goes three and one in her first soul hunkup. It was great to see stuff ending on 15 and 16 on either side, because that's where all the juice was on the golf course. Yeah, been 17 too. You're looking at match five last night, and I have to, again,

I would not have seen a path to victory that would have included Allison Corp who's losing banana crits mats. How crits mats and looked on Friday, going going into and sitting all day Saturday, Allison is kind of who you're one of one of your horses you're riding a lot. And it was not her best golf today. Nado crits mats made a great birdie on 12 to go to up, drained a bomb 11 14 to go three up. Got a little close there near the end, and Matt's ended up winning that

in 211, but that was the sixth point, sixth match. That was 12, 10 year up. At this point, it's like, all right, you kind of got it. The tweets I was riding out were like six things in a row have to

happen in this way, and the US can't lose grounded in any of them, and it just that's never a

fun tweet to be sending like three p.m. when there's a lot of matches still in the golf course. This was one where I thought when Allison got down early, she was two down early, she lost the first hole, got up back to one. She was she was one down. She birded seven, birdied, birdied eight, birdied nine, birdied ten. It was like, all right, like this is this is this thing's close, and then Nado just played well. She played really good golf. She birded 12, and then

birdie 14. And like that was, I mean, she was three up by that point, and

things just got away from her before it could really, like it was just I think like Allison didn't

lose that match. I think Nana wanted it. Perhaps to her for she was probably the biggest, biggest question mark coming into Sunday before the European side. Yep. Yeah, I think we we spent a fair amount of lead up time, and time this week kind of questioning a little bit of the depth of team Europe, and that was a massive question mark heading into today, and that ends up being likely to decide. Like if Angel would have had step up day, and Nana Kurtz mats and does not,

then the US is celebrating tonight, and Europe is not, and you needed someone who had a tough start to the soul. I'm cut to to bounce back and perform, and I mean, they got point, and we'll get to this as well, but they got wins out of, I mean, two players sat all day yesterday for Europe, Julia Lopez Ramirez sat all day as well. Do I have it? Who Leah? Who Leah? Or, or, or, or, or that's, I'm not. I'm not. Right. I'm making sure I had that fact right. I

forgot that I could also pronounce it wrong. She wins her match against Yelimeo, which was match

seven. Yelimeo was absolutely incredible in both for four ball matches, but just did not have

her stuff. I believe she was around plus two, who Ramirez only shot about even. It was not the

best match out there, but all you got to do is beat your opponent. Julia's got some, some putting issues. I think that have been well documented, and missed a short put on four to take lead. It was kind of a pillow fight, but she ends up winning that one three and two gets her great moment there on 16 as well. And all of a sudden, it's 13, 10, Europe, and it's really, really,

Really not looking good.

in Kirk's Madison, and then you've got Nastasia, Julia, and Lottie all in a row. The three rookies

right in a row against, well, and Mimi. Yeah. But, oh, yeah. And then, but right against, like, the

meat of the order in Allison, Andrea, Yelimeo, Austin Kim, and it was just, you're not counting on getting no points out of that group. Like that hurts. Well, that's the thing is that, I mean, we could sit here and dice it up, and I know both captains, both teams are going to do it, but the fact that they decided to send out their four rookies, back to back to back to back to back, and, like, have the faith to put them in the, in the heart of this order, they didn't try to hide

any of them. I think it's been an awful lot to the faith that Anne had in her team. And she mentioned the poster on the, like, you know, I think over time, us being here for three days now, we got to, to know this golf course. We got to know how firm, these greens are usually pretty firm. You have to get the ball high here, and she used her captains picks to find people and fit that out in her pressure. So high, like that fit this golf course. It wasn't really about form or history playing

team events or anything else like that. That's what it was. And I think that came through when

she needed it most. Just for the record, they, she had rookies in four of five. So it went to me, then Kirk's Matzen's not a rookie, then the dough, Ramirez and Wode, where were the, in order there. But yeah, it was, it was, it was loud there on on 16 for Hulia, and it was, the, the, the fiesta broke out just like, it does. When you grab a high noon to Kila, a seltzer pack or a vodka seltzer pack or a vodka iced tea pack, no matter the occasion,

high noon has something for you. And if you're looking for your next pack, check out the high noon to Kila seltzer fiesta pack. By the night pack, you can find a 12 pack all are made with real to Kila real juice perfect for any fiesta no matter where you plan to throw it. You could find the high noon to Kila seltzer fiesta pack nearest you at high noon spirits dot com high noon suns up.

So looking bleak on the, the U.S. aside at this point in Lottie Wode had a massive lead over

Austin Kim in match eight. Um, absolutely hammered. She had her four up at one point, but Austin Kim

started making a run. There's about a five minutes stretch that there always is at every single

session where like everything goes the team's direction that that's behind and you start to convince yourself something might happen. Austin getting it back to one down 30, 12 13 and 14. It was awesome. But Wode bounced back birdie 16 to get back to the two up and guarantee at least a half she goes on to to have the 17th hole, uh, which is the point that that guaranteed the clinch because at this point, Carlos Saganda was dorming in her match or how do you say it was had

kept showed dorming or was dorming? Whatever she was dorming. So Kila leader is dorming. They uh, they had the half point guaranteed there. That meant Lottie Wode's point was the clincher for Europe. No birdies on the front nine for Austin Kim and the route to getting four down, but did the gave it late charge had the hand to the ear. That was right there on 14. She rolled in. I mean, really good, good approach and then great pot just buried it right in the center. And then

yeah, gave gave the big, uh, you know, hand to the ear and Megan Kang was standing right behind that green as we're a few of the other U.S. players. And yeah, that was like, oh, okay, okay. And then because we just seen some miraculous stuff happen Saturday. And that they haven't had a little fresher in your head was like, this could happen. This momentum could happen. The U.S. has done well on the back nine. It didn't last very long, but there was that moment that it looked like

things. We did get that moment. Yeah, we will always have that moment. Uh, so that had decided

the soulheim cup, uh, what was still out there, match nine, Lauren Coglan against Leona McGuire. Can I just go watch real quick? Yeah. That decided the soulheim cup, right? But that only got team here. A lot of these point got team Europe to 14 points. Yeah. They needed 14 and a half points. Right. But Carlotta was dorming. So it was guaranteed to have correct. But my thing is that all the team was out there with Laude, like, fully knowing that's where it's at. But like Carlotta

was battle and just beating it, beating it, beating it, beating it down and like by the time we got done, she had all the fans and everything. This great, like, ampithier that we're in right now. But like hardly any of her teammates. It was all the block range. Yeah. You know how she could have gotten there. You could have had the moment when she could have come in a little faster. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There we go. She had the put on 15.

You had a put on 15 to win to clinch it as well. And then also seems like Europe cares about the stuff way more than anyone else does who gets the clinching point. But you're gonna throw some

Shade at the air.

I thought it was all about the team all of a sudden. Yeah. One time Europe is not about the team when

it's about to claim you knew got the clinching point. But I'll see you again. We're going to go go through everyone's record. But L.C. continued to just absolutely stun. She beats Leona McGuire two and one, which doesn't capture how like not close that match was. She played great. Like Leona was, you know, very, she had the, she was getting up and down. Like she did not hit

it well. I think she was 50 yards behind Lauren on the first hole. And they kind of kept up the

whole day. But you ever credit for sticking in it. Like she that should have been probably a five and four match if if she doesn't make some pots. Yeah. So as mentioned, the highly anticipated match between Jennifer Cup show and Carlotta Saganda. I mean, Saganda just came out absolutely firing. Cupjov did not look good early on. I think Saganda birdied what she birdied two. She birdied three. She birdied four five and five. Birdied four holes in a row to go four up through five.

And it was night and then birdied seven. And if you, I'm going to, I'm going to read the coats again because they were absolute highlight. You know, she said I was really happy to see that was playing in the Cup show. She's a fighter. I'm a fighter and I told her look great playing. I mean, even yesterday, which did on a myth was amazing on 1718. But today I knew she had no chance. I was like, I want to kill you. Like, that seems like one of those coats is going to be in the big

block letters in the team room like the next score both teams. Yes, right. It gave me the

you like to say to Carlotta. I respect your game. I've always respected your game. I respect

everything you bring to this event. I respect your career. I hate the way you go about it. I think

it is borderline on sportsmen like to play a slow as you do. But I have a ton of respect for you and it's even more when you're going to come in and say something like that. Like, I think if I was to give a critique of how the competitive side of this event shakes out, it's a little friendly, like a little too friendly. Like, it a little bit of, I don't want to say it this way, but I don't know how other way to phrase it. Like, I'd like to see like feel more disappointment from the

U.S. side. I'd like to feel more consequence. And it feels like Carlotta is like one of the few people out of the 24 that plays in it that treats it like essentially life or death in terms of their golf career. And I respect the shit out of that. And like, is the only one that says things in the press conference that are not like what you are supposed to say. Boy, I'm going to kill you. I got that was what you have no chance. I'm going to kill you. I have a lot of respect for that. Is there something

that this is fair? Yeah. Okay. No, I'm so unfair. Is there something that the Spaniards teach with regard to putting your hand or like your grip up against your glove? Because hurt, like Sergio used to do that. Like the just that whole, you know, re-gripping. Yeah, I don't know like that. Carlotta might be the new setty. She got the spirit of setty pushing the rules alone.

The great woman Carlotta. I think that gamesmanship. Well, I think that's all part of it, right?

I think the slow play thing is, you know, if you one thing, if it was just like specific to the soul, I'm cut, but that's this how Carlotta plays golf. So you're like, oh, okay, it's not really that gamesmanship. It's not even malicious. That's how she is. And, you know, to her defense, she's talked about like, I know I need to get faster. Does that mean that she's actually getting faster? No. No. Like, but she knows like, she'll do it when people start finding her stroke

and that's something that the LPJ tours trying to take on, but for this event, I think it's something with the Spaniards. And we joke about it all the time. Like, she grew up watching seven. She knows exactly what it is. She's like, she grew up watching, you know, Sergio and Jose Maria and like all these guys go out there and just like, this is their moment. And it's so much. And now you see, who the, like, being, being trained and brought into that same thing and you, it's, it's incredible

to watch. Do you imagine if Sergio said, I want to, I want to kill him? I don't know, I could imagine what the press would do probably. I mean, when she said that today, like, she got a round of applause from the media center. Uh, yeah, I think it's one of those things. So I, everybody here plays on they're all playing on the same tour. They all travel together. They're all friends. Like, the rivalry is, is, is kind of stoked one time every two years. Even the international crown you

can't, you'll never have moments like this. Um, and I wish there was more, but I think in order

to do that, you'd have to figure out, you know, make a stronger, ladies, European tour with individual events and, and have an opportunity for more people, uh, that aren't, you know, LET players that aren't also LPGA players, getting onto these teams qualifying onto these teams.

Um, but then overall it's like that, whatever I'm describing, Carlotta's got ...

like, the fire for it and like, I loved, like, I love beating the Americans. How old is Carlotta now?

Um, and I think I think Mel has it too. Like, Mel, Mel is. Yeah, Mel read, who's like,

assisted captain, but like, kind of embodies that. Yes, spirit as well. So I'll notice 36. Turn your knatter so high, man, or anything. I think she's got at least one more in her having. So Susanne had it. I mean, yeah. Yeah, Susanne invented it. Yeah, still have it. Maybe a little too much on that side. But, uh, yeah, I hated that draw for Cupcho. Um, I think she probably hated it too. Sus, Sus, she saw that like, oh, shit. I didn't bomb most after that. And I, I was waiting for Carlotta

to give, uh, to hit back with, with a vamo sir. She played it very even keel today. She knocked it over. It was like an assassin. Truly. And I'll say this is that I, the way that yesterday ended was a dream scenario for the United States team. I don't think you can have your moment. You can celebrate your moment. Don't, maybe we probably didn't need the social media aspect of celebrating that moment yesterday, because that was Baltimore board material for them today. Sure. And that was

the first thing that, you know, the European team talked about were like, yeah, and guess what,

we won the cup. And now we get our two cases of beer. Yeah. We weren't celebrating on Saturday night

because that's what we were all excited. No, the job wasn't done yet. Now we can go do it with

our shit. Mel did say to like the team bus. That's a sacred space for us. We don't have a social media, which also like, yeah, so like the caddies and stuff we're drinking yesterday afternoon, I'd totally about board if you ask me like that's part of the fun of the environment. They brought the cases. I don't think like the players. There wasn't anything celebrating last night. They won the cup. I think I don't think that matters. I think it's the perception. I agree. I agree, but I think

I don't, you know, there was some, some things floating out there like they should have celebrated last night. I think they were celebrating the moment. Sure. I think that's totally fine. I don't think it's like the beers on the bus was a bad idea. I think it did like porch, you know, portraying that and putting that out socially, which you might go, you know, I might be an LPGA thing. Hey, it's probably didn't help, but I don't think it was overall deciding factor.

But um, so that made 15 11 Sagana's point. It was all over by then. Lindy Duncan, her magic is Maya Stark. Lindy won that one. Three in one. Props. Lindy. Props. Lindy. And like look, you can brush that off as that match didn't matter. That's Wikipedia match. Like, no, she had the red on the board for the majority of the day when they needed it. That was a match. I was particularly worried about from the US side. She won that one. Three in one. She was very impressive throughout.

I mean, she got it. She was four up through 10. At a time like US just needed to like, all right, there's one match I do not have to worry about. She shot around minus five today. And I think, you know, it was a questionable captain's pick. She goes to one one. I think puts those, puts those questions to rest. Um, and, you know, we'll look, yeah, we'll get into some great

tears as well. Final match, Rosanne again, Celine Boudier. So we're standing incredible. We're

standing on 16. Fairly. So I'm just, we saw almost none of this match on TV. It's all tied. They tied every single home in the front and until Celine birdie Eagle 10 rose tied it back with a birdie on 11 and they stayed relatively neutral. I don't have it right in front of me. They were exactly. Yeah. They were tied through 15 and then yeah. And then so we're, so we're just going to understand it on on 16 fairway. Carlota just just won her match. Celebrations going on. And

Celine looks over at Mel. It was Mel, right? Cody. No, it was a head wall. Head wall. He looks over at head wall. She's like, do I have to keep playing? Like, just like, Oh, she goes. So I have to finish. Yeah. She said, I don't want to finish. Like, this is, I don't want to finish. We already

won. Why do I finish? And then like, yeah, you, you have to finish that way through the list.

Got to, by the way, uh, meanwhile, Rose is like tenacious and trying to get really good on my Wikipedia. Yeah, she's going to eagle that hole. Yeah. They're like, okay, eagle. The next one par and then verdict 18 to, to, you know, or yeah, burnish finish, to up. It was, it was nuts. I don't know what Celine is. I know we're going to get to grades. That's where you start at. I think, yeah, grades

wise. Um, it just is not good. And this is the second or third cup that we've seen for Celine,

where it's just a bad performance all around. Last two European saltime cups. She's oh and seven. She was oh and three in Spain. She did go two and two in Virginia in 2024. But yeah, so I threw in Spain. She was on three and then she was on four this week. And she's not exactly like a bundle of energy. You're easy to pair with others. So we don't know. Yeah, I want to give somebody the benefit of the doubt, right? Like, oh, we don't know what they're like in the team.

We don't know how it is, you know, with the other players.

with a partner and when she's playing alone, it looks like she's having a miserable time. Zero fun. Zero, which is hard when you're not scoring any points. At least be an energy person. But where's Leona? Like, doesn't look like she's having fun, but she looks like she wants to kill somebody. Yeah, that's delightful. Um, so that's it 15 to 13 year up. They win the soulheim cup back. They win yet another, it's been since 2015 since the US has won a single session,

which is, which is very, very, very tough. Um, some you mentioned, and just some interesting kind of quotes from the pressures afterwards on the US sides, they went first mentioned Stamford just saying she wanted to get some of her top players some rest. Did give us the line that you just insert. I think it comes with a US capancy when you start a press or you just have to say you're up made more pots. They played great. Check the bingo. I think the stats would probably support that.

She made an implication in one of her quotes that, uh, you know, Missy, if I can get this exactly right, um, about about the greens being different than what they were expecting or saying something. Just she didn't want to say it. She she didn't want to go right up to it. Um, so I don't think we played bad. I think we just didn't make enough pots. If you listen to everything I've said,

Europe always put better. I don't know why. I still don't know why. I mean, I have a good idea,

but I'm not going to say it right now. Apparently, I didn't get to know the super intended

as well as I should have. I think they played really well and you have to compliment them and we gave

it our best shot. I was not going to let that one go. I said reading between the lines what you just said were green speeds different than what your team was expecting coming into this week. And she said, yes, for sure, even when we showed up in July here, they were faster and I don't think it had anything to do with the rain either. Now, saying that it's my responsibility to get the team ready. This is the one thing I'm kicking myself is that I just didn't keep pushing. You know, we've got

to figure out how to hit our pots a little harder, which is really difficult to change the way you put. So I'm a little frustrated with myself that I didn't drive that point home. But I mean, that's there's nothing we could do about that and the team knew that. I mean, nobody complained about it at all. It's me saying this right now that I wish I would have maybe hammered it home more. Like they're going to be slow. They're going to be slow. They're going to be slow. But we don't

play on greens this slow usually. So yeah, it's funny because like right before that, she was talking about how important it was to hit the bolt high and how lengthy it was out here and how firm it was out here and then yeah, it's slowness. I could understand that more if it was super soft, but they weren't soft. They were just a little slower and it's, you know, it was a, it's mids, you know, and then I capped it nor Chris was asked the same question.

But you're flooding the unjust as well. So I'm going to see if I can get the exact quote here as well, you know, I asked. I said, you know, Captain Samper was in here earlier and mentioned that she thought the green speeds were slower than what they were expecting coming into the event. I asked if that was a strategy element if they had to say in those green speeds. She asked who said that? I said, well, Angela did. So okay, we're in Europe and in September.

I know we know how the weather can be. I know how hard Neil and the core staff.

I've never seen a golf club in Europe in the, in the world have such a large staff as he has,

even having feminine members of it. We worked really hard. I always said, going into this way,

we would try to showcase women's golf. I'm not sure I believe a lot in setting it up to a

way to fit Europe because these girls play the same golf courses weekend and we count competing. So going in, it came here in July as we know, it was a very hot and dry summer. So the course played a little different than, and then we almost, we were just trying to make sure that the greens didn't get too firm at that time because there were some holes in the wind that it was hard to hold. So if anything, it was just trying to manage the firmness. But then obviously it's been raining a lot

in the past couple of weeks, then this week we saw a lot of rain. So if anything, they were probably just playing a little bit softer than what we had thought coming here. That's obviously the weather.

We can't control that. It's such an amazing course, such an amazing venue. I was really cool to see the

way. We started, started on the normal third hole. She goes to the routing bubble off from there. So I think there was a way of Angela saying this that would have sound whining and I did not think she was. Oh, she took ownership. She took ownership of like the greens were what they were. She could have blamed it on them. Nothing provided cards during the scouting trip, which she talked about on our part. She made a joke about that. I totally hear exactly what Angela was saying.

I think Anna gave a pretty fair answer there as well. The greens were a little bit slower, but

that Europe had the team of Europe had nothing to do with that. But it was a theme, talking to the caddies, talking to the players. They just struggled with the pace of the greens. I don't have a lot of sympathy for that. Several days into the competition did not have figured that out, and to have had practice rounds to have. Even here for a week figured out, there was a lot of pots that they had to make that they did not get to the hole. There was no

there's no excuse for that. It is different, but that's what everybody was playing on.

Also, I don't think Angela was applying for foul play, but just to be clear, ...

gamesmanship with any of that. It's also a fine fescue. It's a pretty different surface than what

they play. A week in, a week out on the LPGA tour. Yeah, so, you know, she,

other comments, you kind of made the point to Angela, you know, kind of didn't throw angel under the bus. Brendan Romain asked her about, you know, what the situation coming at the angel and mentioned that she had gotten the half point. Didn't mention that it was all you lemme know that was responsible for that half point, but also had an interesting mention that they didn't something that she felt hurt them. They didn't have strokes gained data access during the week.

They had an in Spain. They had the resources to be able to track how players were playing on a shot by shot basis in Spain and didn't have it this week, and that was something that she wished her stats team would have had access to. So, yeah, she was very complimentary of Justin Raid and his efforts and everything, and I think the fact that it was eight eight going into the final day says it all. It's like at some points on the players, right? Yeah, I did dig on that one too.

She said, we were missing some pieces like that in the week of Spain. I was hoping she'd give us some strategy things, but she said, I told him, she told Justin Raid is, because I know he's working with Jim in the Ryder Cup. I told him exactly what he needed to do for Jim. He thinks it matters, thinks those things matter. Justin was a huge help. He got us the point. She kind of smiled when I was like, I asked any particular reason you didn't have that resource and she said,

yeah, we just didn't. So, that's why it couldn't be honest with you. So, like throwing his former

employer under the bus? I did not throw my former employer under the bus, but

can I say something? This is a second time. We've said a lot of a couple shows about

what thing we're lucky that the team got to eight, eight yesterday. The American team is according to rankings, stroke days, stroke gains data, everything. They are a much stronger team than the European team. They outrank the European team across the board at every level. There's strokes, gain data is better than the European team at every level. There's no reason why this is the result that we have. There's no reason why we should be happy that we got to a tie

after each day. Something is wrong here. We are missing something. So, dogs. I don't have the the data right in front of me, but when I went through it earlier, I remember going through on the US side and just being like, I think we taught this in the previous, like,

I don't know if the second best player is here, guys. I don't know how much is that being

weighed by Nellie being far in a way the best player? Well, we said Lawrence, yeah, we said Lawrence, because you get down like, I got down to like the bottom of the roster and they have like 95th rank stroke. We have no midfield anymore. Yeah, it gets weak pretty quickly. And the odds going into this week were dead even on US versus Europe. So, I get that that would say on paper, like the US team is slightly better and Europe has a home field advantage that's

off setting it from a from a bookmaking perspective, but it felt evenly match. It just felt like just in fact the US had enough people step up again there. You know what I mean? Like, I thought lucky to get to eight, eight based on how they played is how it's how I felt. It didn't feel like from the beginning of the week to that point. I guess, I don't know, again, that's kind of why I predicted Europe to win today. It's just like it just felt like

that was the best they could have been through two days and it just felt like Europe was going to outlast. It felt like a, it's like a transition here for the US side, right? Like,

no, the first one without Lexi, you've got likely asterus tally, garamero.

You know, likely a few other young ladies coming up. I think the European side, you're going

to have a genie Bay who should have been here. You're going to have a couple more Spaniards probably on the team next time between Carolina Chicara and, you know, so like I think there's going to be a lot of new blood in the next in the at Valhalla, and then especially, you know, in 28, or was that 30, when we're, where we are back here in Europe, but like it's going to look radically different versus I think it's been mostly the same, the same core for the last eight

ten years. And that's where, you know, Megan Kang pick was like, it's based solely on her soul. I'm record definitely not on her play coming in. And part of the deal was just like there was not that player beating down the door that was like very clearly way better than her that should take the spot. I think they were kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of the some of the picks and lindy stepped up and you're, you're hoping Megan steps up and wins that match

today and you look like a genius and it just, it just did not happen that way. But I, I, this is, I did not feel going into this one that the US was like a decidedly more talented team. I think the, I think the US also probably has to be kicking itself. I think you'd want four

Captains picks, not three.

we always say that. Oh, yeah, you want more, you want more. I mean, I think you should have six.

If you have six, let's see who who ended up points right. If you have Angel was, oh gosh, Angel was second in point. Yes. Oh, crap. Yeah. That's appropriate. And you're probably still picking Allison, but just having more flexibility. Yeah, Allison was last to qualify. We'll do like a look back on this and what they can change for the process. Because I agree, like looking at Angel, they're the way that the point system currently

works for Team USA is kind of finicky. You get a ton of points way early on too. It's like the waiting needs to change for a little bit more, more recency. But this is the first time in the reason why I bring it up, and this is going to open it to a bigger conversation that we can have

later. But like this is not the match. I love the Solheim Cup. I love this. This is not what is,

this is not what we have anymore. This is not, this competition is not very reflective of the best players in the women's game anymore. We have to, we must tours, sponsors, people who care about this, must find a way to have a match with the rest of the world, not the international ground. I know it's not going to be 12 on 12. It is not going to be a PGA tour co-sanctioned president's cup thing. That's not going to happen. It's not in the cards. We have to figure this out

because we're going to end up with, yes, this, this was competitive, right? This is a competitive cup. But like, when you're not playing against the, like, the best players in the world anymore, what is the excitement? You know, it loses a little bit of the, of the luster. I think it's, you just need the other thing too. Like, I think it's, you could make the same argument with the European team and some of these, I'm not even saying it by the way. I'm not even saying this, there's like team USA versus

international's. Yeah. I'm saying, like, let's rest of the world versus. Let's make this count for something.

And if you want to make it like a more of a revenue generator, well, the ladies,

European tour won the soul home cup. So they get the opportunity to compete against the international team and they get half of that proceeds. And you remember this, this was brought up, some years ago. No, it was caught on the hot mic. You know, I don't, I don't really want to go get my ass kicked by by the. That's great for her. But I mean, I, I mean, I think there's an easy through line of the Ryder Cup comparison. Obviously, what this event was, was modeled after

US first year up. It just makes it easier to pick up. I kind of, it's to me, it doesn't matter to me that it's not the best players in the world. I think there is a competition with a lot of equity in the bank thing. People have memories of and I like watching these two teams go at it. And well, why can't I have, why can't I bring up that idea in and being like, yeah, we can have both.

Totally. Can't we dream and have both and not have it be a negative to the soul home cup?

I'm not with the case that I'm going to make later on, which is by the soul home cup in the year. Well, we can't. I mean, that's, that's this, this thinking part about it is that like,

we're always told, well, you can't have that because you already have this thing over here.

I'm like, well, why can't we have both? It seems like we have new events popping up all over the place. Sure, we can figure out something. I mean, they have, again, they have the international ground there. It's just not serving as purpose now. Yeah. I guess I just don't know what the hook is, even if it's so it's like all of the West first, all of the East, the East is still like, well, and then where do you put Australia, West versus East? They're technically East, right?

Yeah. It's, yeah. I mean, I think just generally speaking, the LATs and an interesting position over the next couple of years as well, like the, the Piff funds a lot, like bank rules a lot of there, their finances, who knows what's happening with that, moving forward with both the international series and the Saudi, the Saudi ladies, all that stuff. I know there were rumors, you know, or like legitimate conversations being had three, four years ago with, with regard to

LPGA and ladies European tour merging, that didn't get across the finish line for variety

reasons, but, you know, like, yeah, like I think, I think we could see globally the, the ladies

game evolved and, and it changed a lot over the next half decade. Yeah. I think it's just, it's, it's hard to leave, like this event, we've been to a lot of women's golf events, like there's no environment like this, like it's just, it's so cream of the crop, and that's where, again, my case was going to be women's golf careers are shorter in general than men's golf careers, and there's not the event you're describing in the off-years, like the reason a reason, like the

ride a couple, I, I'm a big play the ride a couple every year guy, a big reason for that is it's

Too big of an event, like there's just too much around it, like the planning ...

is difficulty, and this, this event is big, but it does not feel too big to do every year,

and I think it would be, it's a great opportunity to keep the storylines, keep the throughlines,

keep the rivalry, keep the momentum, keep the memories fresh, like, I just, like, they, they went, and I, and I feel strongly about this on the women's side, because they did it back to back in 23 and 24, and I just remember all, like, everything just, that much sharper, like I just, it felt, fresh, and it felt like I could not wait to, you know, to get to that event, and it just, it, you know, the momentum dies back down, and then coming back up, like I, it felt like I had to get

caught back up to get back into Soulheim Cup mode this year, and we don't even know where the next one's going to be on this side of the pond, and that's, that's kind of crazy, you're right, and four years, and, and four years, they'll so far up so far away, whereas, like if you had it announced for 2028, and that, and they were here today, and could figure out best practices, and say, hey, we loved this, we didn't like this, this was, like, you know, just keep that moment

of going, like you said. The other one I would do, and I'd make the same case honestly,

the writer cup, but I, I think that the Soulheim Cup can do more to differentiate itself from, like, the writer cup format, and I would say, especially for European ones, an opportunity to grow the product, grow the interest in this half, I don't know, half of the audience of this event is in the U.S., I would say, I would do what the president's cup does. You take day one, the Friday, and you separate it into two days. You play four sums on Thursday or four ball

on Friday, and you play it in the afternoon here. So, people, like, a lot of the great four sums matches, all the forces of matchups happen in the middle of the night in the U.S., and it's almost unwatchable for U.S. people. Regular two days, extra ticket gate revenue for the tournament day. There's so many practice round days, and I know it shrinks the gala and all the opening ceremonies and all that. I'm fine with that for an extra tournament day.

It's really going to play it every two years, and it's only three days. I just think that's too much jammed into a type period of time. There's strategy that comes with how you, you, you know,

rest your players, how you start them, but I think the L.P. J.A. in L.A.'s European tour could be a leader

in changing that part of it. I think that has been successful in the president's cup front, and I know as some of the ones to see this event and women's golf grow in the U.S., more opportunities to view it, actually on television would be a pretty important one. I will give them credit this year for this was the most cohesive set of broadcast windows, like it was on golf channel the whole way, and they went

whole way, wired a wire, and they kicked Irish open over to CNBC. So praise progress on that front. Yes, there's still ways to go. I understand. I saw we were filming early in the week, but I saw

just quarter asking where the opening ceremonies announcing of the first matches, I think that was all

streaming, you know, so there are ways that you can still elevate it with the bumper coverage, but overall you're getting the golf when the golf is on, because I think it's a great thing. I will say we watch zero coverage, so there's not going to be a hamster at M.C. actually. I haven't heard really anything. I don't know if you guys have. We heard a lot from our friends in the UK who got a heavy dose of Morgan Pressle, and mainly the U.S. Broadcast team, and they're

like, oh, okay, we get it. This is why you guys have been fighting over on your side. So, because you're similar thing, like when they when the Australians get our feet or whatever, they're like, oh, okay, we get the commercial look at this stuff now, right? So it's funny,

when we get everybody else's feet, we're like, oh my goodness, this is amazing. Like I love it.

It sounds so different, it cool. I did watch a lot on TV today, just in the media center, and there were some interruptions, but I got to watch it not. I didn't get up, like, going to the bathroom, like, three hours. Like, I got back to just take a rest from the rain, and I was like, guys, I'm staying in here. Like, this is awesome, just to watch all the moving around from there. But I'll say to both of you guys this week, it's been absolutely stunning in your

greens. You guys have brought absolute heat when it comes to the greens. That is from our friends at Holderness and Born, the fall collection is here. They got new arrivals, new colors inspired by the landscape, the color at the coastline of Northern California. What you guys have put on this week has had an influence on me. I went straight to our store to order pretty much everything. You can also go to hbgolf.com and you can use code NLU10. We'll get you 10% off at Holderness and

Born there at hbgolf.com. Still the only discount code on the market. They've been a great supporter of the content you're going to see here. Big reason why we're here are our friends at Holderness and Born. So give them your support as well. We'll have some video content that they sponsored as well from early, early part in this week as well. So I want to shout this out. This is the Clive in Cyprus. It's a really sporty piece, but it looks really clean too. Also,

There's sweaters.

and I don't know where that many sweaters. One of the sweaters I was wearing this week. Let me

look it up here. It was, I was blown away. I'm like this, this might turn me into a sweater guy. So I think you got, yeah, you pull off sweaters pretty well. What's it called? It was the bearit, the bearit crew next sweater. It's got like these little ribings and stuff. You had that shit on if I'm in a five if I'm in a standing this ad read into something that only NBC could pull off. Just contemplating through a play through a solid jump on these because of course we got the new bird action going

on Drew. I don't know if you can see that or not, but I know that'll get you excited. That looks great.

That's what we do at the 90 minutes show and we have three adverts in the whole thing.

Yeah, so we feel free to compare that to our friends at NBC. You guys ready some grades?

Yes. We don't have to linger. No inflation either. We've had, there's a word, the word for

delicious in Dutch is, it's lecker and then they're super lecker and solid called way too many things. That's a super lecker. Great list of super lecker. Super lecker inflation. There's been super lecker stroke waffles casting those. What else was super lecker? The La Perla, the pizza place. You guys got to check that out. You're ever in Amsterdam, the Apple Tart. That's Lachrom and Benco 43. There's Waggy Sliders. Yeah. I'm going to come after our video comes off from here. I'll give you

guys. I get a lot of emails about the Amsterdam tips. I'll give you a full guide. I got Chad Coleman is there today. I think he sent me a text and said, how the fuck did you ever leave this place with the day I sent him on there? So we'll get that together. Yes, I saw it. I call a lot of things super lecker. There was some inflation, but I was very excited to be back in Dutch. Celine Boudier. Oh, forno. What is her grade feeling? Yeah. He failed the class.

I think that's enough. And F across the board. It's pretty pretty simple one.

Carlos Saganda, one, one and one. That record does not match the feelings around the golf course. Carlos is one of two heartbeats of the European team. And Carlota gets an A. I don't care about the draw. I don't care about the loss. She is this event. He took so much energy out of cup show like cup show. There was no way she could have won that any match today after what Carlota, she she won yesterday,

but at what cost? You cannot replace Carlota Saganda just like you cannot replace a Gary Bertier. Exactly right. So you're giving her? I'm giving her an A minus. I will go A minus as well. Some of the golf away from the big moments was less than perfect. So I'd prevent the grade inflation. I'm not going to go full A on there. But did what she had to do? I agree that one one and one is selling her a little bit short. There's a little bit of fair amount of that as we go

through these, but Lynn Grant goes four and oh, her and Allison Lee both did there. They're the ninth and tenth players to go four oh and oh or at least four oh and oh in the soul home company. Course courtesy of Randy Robles. The last sports beer. Randy gets an A this week too. Randy gets

an A as always. Lynn Grant gets A plus. A plus. She went oh and four two years ago. So to come back

and go four and oh and battle it out. Singles not was standing battle out against some of their best players and do it in the fat form and fashion that she did it. Maya and her set up best like they just had fun and it was it's shown through they were true that they were they were the two leaders of

this team this week from a from a emotional and energy standpoint. I think Carlota was like the

steady heartbeat and they were the they were the adrenaline and the the joy. I will go A for Lynn. What else would she need she need to go five and a plus longer player in the team play and Lynn was not great today just drew a great great draw with Angel and I think a lot if if I put her matched or golf today up against a lot of players on the US side she very well could have lost that's all preventing you from an A plus that is because Nick picking from that it was not A plus golf

it was A golf because it's a very it's a very it's still from the great Cody. Yeah it's an A for me. I'd love to love every minute of it. I love Lynn in this environment her and Maya have such a great thing going together. She's a competitor the number one thing they hate is losing. I love seeing it but man it feels like every time we have a soul-hime cup and we're talking about Lynn Grant it feels like we're you know in the states we have these national conventions for you know

politicians and I get real fired up about this speech and hope and change and everything like Lynn you got to come through a little bit on me man like you got to do something in your normal week the week LPGA tour career because we want this Lynn all the time this is what we thought we're signing up for it's got to do something it's crazy she's 61st in the world she's made less than half

Of her cuts this year on the LPGA tour only two top tens it's it's it's truly...

but an example of like just the team stuff that makes it super fun right of us really jell and multiple different formats and just clearly how it kind of fun and stepped up when they when they need to so as their hints let went to and won she won both of her matches in team and then lost a single's metaphor being four up one point today what's agreed for Esther

Esther's a tricky one um what do you think Cody she's gonna be I think she's getting a be

for me as well uh yeah solid solid was knocking some of the pace of play stuff I saw some of that

first it was for that incident it was not habitual bad bad intentions like Carlos no I don't think

that's it Esther's awesome no yeah Esther's like really really good the issue is Esther makes like buckets of birdies and all of a sudden she like makes attorney get to the tenth hole and she's like oh my goodness that forgot how to put she just watched this like oh my mint this car crash is coming and it it happens to her an individual stroke play events it definitely happened to her today the reason why you know I thought about giving her like a be minus but I'm refusing to give

minus or plus is everything's just gonna be straight across the board today she's getting that solid be like how do you get to be four up and lose one down you know and I understand major props to

Allison Lee for playing fucking awesome but you got to you got to find something I think the

fact that you've given her a be that speaks to her her body of work this week overall she got some some nice draws overall um and it was heavily up early because Allison was was especially struggling

it wasn't like she played incredible so I'll go be as well thank you for the very very nice

so Hancock did her did her job went two and one Charlie Hall I want you to leave this off because one three and one I am gonna give Charlie a be minus for this week okay she record looks worse than it is and we're gonna get to Lottie and I'm gonna have I'm gonna fight very hard on that one she put five matches when five matches got done lead match she was not the stronger player between her and Lottie in a lot of the team golf and I didn't get to see Saturday morning

for some of which I know didn't go well but her and Lottie drew mathematically like the worst

possible spots they could have drawn their four balls were excellent I think they shot eight nine

under in those and lost both of those matches and I know the record looks ugly got it done out of lead match today going all five and tapping to play like playing good golf and happening to get the top players on the U.S. I does not hurt fall she did the rub of the green a lot of what she could do so that the B minus might even be light but that is it will look back at one three and one and things she had a bad soul handcuff when we checked the Wikipedia in two years

and I want I want on the record that I do not think she had a bad soul handcuff at all I thought her partner was even stronger why I go sign everything you said I I do wish they would have broke in her and Lottie up just because I do want to see Lottie yes I want to see Lottie how she matches with someone else very difficult Charlie they're going to continue to have difficulties pairing Charlie with someone I think that they're grooming

grooming a lot to be that person and I agree with you guys it made so many birdies and it's hard because you don't really know who you're going to go up against but you know I think there's

other intangible things that Charlie you want her to bring to this competition that she's never

is going to she's not going to be the leader of this team she's going to be there she's going to be present but like she's not going to be the raw raw motivational one you know she's you're expecting her to come here and and do her job and get her points yeah that's like a class participation part that that you know it's great if you do that but you're not getting points in your grade for that I think for that I I'll give her a see she's a second highest rank player in this field I kind of expect

more but again you can't control the draw all the time yeah Nana Kurt's Madson we can move a little faster through some of these Nana Kurt's Madson one and two but got it done in her singles match today after resting all day Saturday C plus I'll go see see and a big massive point upsetting Allison Corpus it was bad early but was was Celine as well so I think that one that one works Julio Lopez Ramirez one oh and one she passed the class she did what she was asked of one

or singles match again it wasn't necessarily pretty match I will say I'll give her a B yeah I'll go right along with you B I I'm not even great her she passes she's next soul time she gets paid okay Leonima Gawyer two and two Leonis so tough to grade because she's like she's greater than

Some of her parts she's she's a she's a really useful tool in the toolbox for...

certainly has limitations as part like I think the weather certainly both helped her with regard to

she's definitely a mother but also heard her with regard to like it was softer out there and you're not getting the rollout she kind of relies upon the ground game a lot I would give Leona

a B she's she's just she's rock solid and does what she needs to do and I think she's she's such a

great player she's such a good tool in toolbox for those for some matches I'm giving her a C just didn't really fear her this week um I kind of got to go with my gut when I saw her against LC I'm like I think LC's winning that one yeah she paired up with Esther and and to beat Andrea Lee and Lindi Duncan who weren't very good in Friday for some's she beat Jennifer Cupchone Rose

Zang in Saturday morning for some's those sort of the two wins she had in four ball

she lost pretty badly with Nostasia yesterday afternoon against Rose Agnostic Cam just two and two got got did what she needed to do but it was not like the I fear you Leona version of the others fair that's fair no but I'm pretty confident in saying that I'm with you Solius C that this is going to be heard last Solheim Cup is a player with the talent that we see coming up it is more and more evident that she is the best player in the

world from where she has to play golf from yeah and that is it's such a disadvantage compared to her peers now and it'll be a big ask to disadvantage at Valhalla for sure yeah um it's you know there's a little much to overcome there's glimmers of like oh shit that's Leona no one else is going to pull that off and then all of a sudden you're like when you expect it to be like every another moment you're like oh like that's you can't like she's hitting like six

I would say Leona Leona's like a she's like a bottom of rotation picture right now that you know what you're going to get out of her when you when you toss her after every five days and you're going to get like the bullpen's not going to get worn down you're going to get five or six call it all right you want to talk about a real player I say this is last Solheim Cup is a player because there will be come a time when Leona not very far away probably when Leona will be a captain

and will be the most motivating and inspirational captain in a very very long time like I can see it now and it's crazy is that I walked with Lisa a lot her twin sister this week and like seeing them and how they kind of banner back and forth and and get things going and they they

chirp their sisters like I you know I think of my twins when I look at them because there's

little things that they do to get under their skin and like oh man I see like her sister being like no I come on man like what are you doing go out there and do this like go and bringing that to a team room where they can control it like man I can't wait I can't wait for that one other thing up just go back to some of the captain's stuff another thing that came up a lot in the press conference tonight from the European side was transparency they said that word like for I think three or four of

them well so mentioned that word and I thought it was really interesting of like it hints at something you know maybe from a lasco around or from Spain with with petters and where I like I think they would all tell you like that show I think she was the most transparent captain so it's seemed like that was a big priority for this team was hey let's let's feel like we have more buying and feel like you have more trust in us as players. Let's toss you in a dough three and one as a

rookie hey I think that gets an A. She gets an A yeah blue. She's got way way better than I thought she was

gonna play yeah yeah it's truly phenomenal it's like we're the better captain's picks and recent memory she did you know did get some on the favorable draw side I think but you can't you can't nitpick I mean Andrew Lee in Austin Kimmer like that they're they're very good players Andrew had a tough yeah I'm gonna get there but uh you can't you can't overly critique three and one as rookie Windsor singles match today even just playing four times as a run-out. I think she drew yeah

she played basically the same group of issue of people for for the majority of the week but uh got

got the job done and got them the only a match they lost was to Rose and Austin Kim on Saturday afternoon but uh excellent debut so high for her did you give a great Cody sorry if I heard an attack in the Sasha yes I did I agreed me and he roads two and two be plus I'll go be

Four she teed it up four times I think those those your great and fighting be...

she's not a listener she doesn't listen to podcasts but no I think um well obviously she lost a nellie today but that's a big that's a big ask going out there I think she she actually played nellie pretty pretty tough overall um oh I just again four time going

out four times and just having that doing doing such a competent job the first day that they send

you back out the second day uh twice yeah that's that's that's huge that's where this energy levels are decided I'll actually join you to be plus them that that uh very strong case that um you know she had a very important impact on the soul I'm kind of and a very very very tough draw in singles were nellie with seven under my a stark three and one loses a single smash to lindy dunkin uh but had a great run with with um Lynn Grant I will start it I will give my a stark an a minus

same boat a minus she was a plus through the first three days uh losing this one the today bumping

her down a little bit but um was was the better player between her and Lynn Grant I think and

and that's brown we're round we're having to grade them so coding a grade a you know I ride

from I had every turn though I understand that uh what the one thing we mentioned it today she needs what nellie went out and did my a need to go out and do like you got to go take these people down in singles and I think my would probably say like she wanted it really bad but like by the end of of the round she's like I'm fucking tired man like I'm just this week over yet yeah uh a lot of you wode one three and one uh I'll give a lot of you let me

she's a rookie we're kind of I would give her a b again she she played she played a role in playing with Charlie she teed it up four or sorry five times which is remarkable um she won her singles match she the clinching point and just generally speaking it seems like

she's like this is the worst soul I'm cup I think we'll see from Lauddy ever and she equitters so

well I'm gonna give her a b plus I love she was excellent um I know the Forson's matches didn't go great I just one three and one record is the one that ran a little every in my little analysis like you know I'm going to hers performance was the one that stuck out the most in terms of what she contributed specifically to for ball that what she went up against in for ball just truly being about as unlucky as you can get I had no problem with them going as going out as much as they did

you can't do much about who you get paired up against she got that went out got it done in singles she's a player to be feared she's an excellent excellent excellent player I thought she had a great played great golf I know the Forson's did not go great that is what she's getting dinged for but um I will I will ride for this one uh as a another symbol to Charlie of like their her record did her play did not get reflected in her record and I'm glad she got that point on the board

and the clinching moment because she had a good soul I'm cup she gets to be I agree with everything you guys said she is in a very tough position uh thankful to have this rookie soul-hime cup behind her because at no point time is she treated or have the expectations of a rookie people expect her to be such a seasoned vet at everywhere she turns up thinking that she has already been there and done that just based off and for record in the very short professional career so far

that nobody I mean rose you know famously made that spain team after being a professional golfer for like two and a half three months uh she was rose was afforded the the availability to be to truly

be a rookie and make rookie mistakes lottie does not have that and I think she she did everything that

was asked her thank you like this com and get a work with me here because it's not apples to apples but like rose is or I'm sorry uh lottie like in this one is like the short stop that is going to give you a ton of war like the the stat line is going to get a war but you got to find somebody to hold down that position like it's going to go five matches and took some really tough matchups and like it's going to wear it on the chin and like look the batting hitting stats don't look

great but like you can look at some of the rookie stats like you can look at nostasia and you can look

it uh somebody's rookies we talked about like they got to go play first base they don't have to worry

about defense and yeah they're going to mash a little bit and I feel like you're just sub tweeting Randy right now you gotta find somebody to play that role to go those five and to face those matchups and hold hold their own as well as they did in the points didn't work out great but like that could have gone very differently yeah I think and that's that's kind of the comp I'd make yeah it's like the receiver that's got to go up against the guess they're getting shadowed by the

best corner in the league yes everybody else is getting open because you know because they're bracketing

That's that's wonderful so let's be quicker on the US side what about uh you ...

a captain now or wait for the captain the captains are coming after at the end okay so yeah

Allison corpus one and three give her a c-minus i think c-minus is good um i think one

decent session is reflected in the record need needed needed that single smash today like that was one that the US just could not afford to loosen anyway and it did not it did not work out for him she was pressing i mean i'll give her that she was it's just when you don't have like control over your golf ball yeah and or your putter it this you press and you get in trouble and she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar and it's a see Lauren coglin three one and one

big fat stick in a i'll give her an a i think like she's quickly becoming one of the best

writer cup player of her generation so i'm sorry so i'm a couple of her generation and i

cannot wait till the day that she's a captain i think she'll be awesome at that too like she's just she looks she she does everything subjectively and objectively in these in these in these

events to just like it's what the event is all about she embodies the spirit of it i think i i could

not have ever predicted this level of success for her in this event as of several years ago and i couldn't have how nervous i used to get watching her like try to make eight footers to like make cuts in majors like several years ago versus the confidence and and the levity that she plays with in this event in particular when everything gets amplified a ton she looks like she's having the most fun of anyone she's smiling she's talking to us in between holes like and she's just

feeding people's brains in and just is doing it with such a it's not an arrogance it's just this confidence that is just awesome to watch so proud of you Lauren a a a big stinging a you know if you'd gone undefeated it would have been a plus did have the one and just played great in the match they lost nothing she could do about the four ball aspect of that but a for Lauren caught one yes the graduations let me dunk in two and one b plus for me one the singles

mess that they desperately needed you know wasn't wasn't great in the early early go of it but two and one as a captain's pick controversial captives pick i'd say she she did the job I'll give you that yeah I'll give her a b I'll give her a b ready yeah b I didn't say I'll see

also in it but yeah lini I think very good showing more than likely

first and only yeah soulheim cup you did did very well got on the resume too let's let's do it

Megan Kang one and two I'm giving her a d I'm giving her a d plus she gave it all she tried you know tried um she guys I I get like what do we hand out participation awards she had some good moments and four ball in the afternoon on Friday that led to a victory um this doesn't fail she did not fail completely but she didn't do anything beyond that she was a captain's pick for reason to show up and do a specific job the issue is when your game no longer fits that person who accomplish

those things in the past there's something wrong it doesn't mean anything negative about her she she she she should be a part of every single team I just don't know until she gets starts playing better golf she's not a player she can come come be an assistant captain come be a support whatever it just it just didn't happen yeah the putters just bad to give her enough yeah she gets enough okay putters extremely bad man we're warned and it's worse than the movie are warned

Austin Kim one and three yeah I d d yeah I don't have a lot I didn't watch her play a lot of golf in person but was not somebody that could could be relied on for the US team brought some energy I was really stoked about out Austin Kim after watching her on Friday and it just didn't at times it felt like the moment was not too big for her she was just a little unprepared and that just takes experience and she's a hell of a player I hope she's she'll be back on more

teams and she'll learn from this and and be about the support yeah all now it quarter two one and one be minus or give her a be she was her she was she was sick evidently she I think you're right be as fair I'm I'm it's unfair to great her against like top Nellie just her overall performance is probably around to be yeah this next one's gonna be tough yeah for sure she gets to be again you expect an awful lot from her but we know like when you're very good at individual golf that

Doesn't add all equate to any sort of team diamond and I think they do a real...

providing everything that she needs in order to perform her best and sometimes it just works out

and sometimes it doesn't but that's what it is I think she she did she did what she needed to do

Jennifer Cupcho one and three y'all I don't know how to do this one

I don't either she gets to see I was I see minus for me yeah I mean you can't you can never

take away what happened yesterday afternoon but that that's it I'm gonna give you a passing we're not you know you're not getting a D in like we're in a random probate came to office hours you did some extra work again like it's she's done for the most that's just kind of what it is and she's a mouth and time yeah it that's what made the the conclusion Saturday so surprising was just she didn't play well at all and it kind of came out of nowhere but it's just hard

when the U.S. team has two two women that were putting hands to ears and doing tons they went to and six combined I just was overall did not help them easy one here she failed the class I give her a give her a D because she failed the class like you don't pass with a D Alison Lee four oh and oh a plus a stinking plus congratulations to Alison a treat to watch was just extremely extremely reliable back up against the wall today four down you know has our kid here

with her and just a lot lot going on as this the 10th player ever to go four oh and I'll install him up a stinking plus she passed with her she she graduated with honors yes Cody I agree with everything you mentioned thing from Tom talking about her working on the broadcast team in Vegas this year I talked to her at the end of last year and was kind of like what are you

doing she's like I honestly I don't know I'm worried about my game this isn't really going

good I'm worried about you know keeping a card I'm gonna have to go back you know there was a time where she completely lost L.P.J. tour status who was playing full time on the L.E.T tour you know and then got a win there and then that springboarder into a little bit higher events and then

finally came back around she was seriously worried about it and that the trial in Vegas was

legitimately to be like I'm retiring from playing I want to be a full-time mom and let's try this broadcasting and she was really good at it but I think what it also reminded her of of is like you know I'm like really good at golf still and I really have a fun time doing it let's figure out how I can manage this whole thing and just seeing her out here with her like she's a very active mom yeah she's not just dropping you know him off and leaving or whatever like he's in the thick of it it's

awesome to see yeah and I mean gosh the broomstick has been awesome for her and her swing just looks absolutely excellent like she knows exactly where the ball is going and I hope it lasts because it looked as as sustainable and good as it possibly could Andrea Lee won in three D I love Andrea

extremely nice person and I think it was a D I think it was she it was costly she's so much better

than her results have been the last year and a half yeah it's frustrating yeah agree yep you'll let me know one one and one give her a this is so hard like a B she got like a hundred and ten out of

a hundred on the first two tests yeah but she was like the most important matchout it really that

one really really stung today oh B plus for me because it was it was absolutely epic for the first two days and MVP of the entire like US team I know she'll even play two matches but like nobody played better golf than she did for the first two days and like the reason why Lottie and Charlie's records looked the way they did was because of of Dillini's performance so it's hard to knock her that hard on today I'm just very surprised what we saw today based on how the first two days went

so and B plus and might be a little friendly because that single's loss is definitely the sting Cody yep I agree with everything come Angel Yan 01 and one Angel didn't get a great she got she got expelled yeah Angel is uh it's a force by getting an F I was gonna say just uh incomplete she did not she did not you know complete the course exactly she didn't you know turn in all of her paperwork everything like that hey I think it I don't know I have a problem with incomplete because

like part of what I'm grading here is detrimental is that you you had an opportunity to give up your spot and give your team a better chance and and that that goes into the equation that is you're trying to expel her so it's an under permanent wreck you're asking something of somebody that no no one would ever do that no one would ever ever do that to be an automatic

Qualifier for something and to be outside of to to be cleared through doctors...

therapy through everything this says yes you can go you're asking somebody to say no and turn

down something that that that she dreams of doing because of that that's such a massive

sacrifice that I think it's unreasonable to hold that and say that's what she should do

now she got to do better in this that's kind of what I'm saying though like it it wasn't a lot like what is yeah what is doing better if she's helping you cleared why is there an alternate here like that that's the part to like all right this is bad enough that we have if the if the play is that bad she's not gonna go like if we are bringing an alternate here there a massive question marks that you're putting a captain in a really difficult spot of how to use

you like I don't think it is unreasonable that it's significant period of time off have no quality starts leading up into it and not entertain the idea that yes I qualify don't based on a different golfer qualified for this than the one that's right in front of me right now this is her fourth soul home comes to it's not like she's some rookie that this is a fleeting he's this is her fourth soul home company she's 20 and she's only 27 and it is intra it's all right

I wonder if the decision obviously it's a somebody told her you have to play a tournament before

soul home that's why she played FM can't just come back for only soul home or sit it out and come back I can't I don't even know what the next event is in two weeks but

probably Arkansas or some it's is a very whatever the plan was and I'm sure we'll never hear

what that those conversations were actually with her of what the agreement was but I don't saw you you know these teams a lot better than I do have you ever heard of the names in the envelope being exposed and warming up and like taking part in reps like you're in training camp I think this happened I don't remember where I think this happened on the men's you're men's side and there there's more to there's you know off record stuff as well as to

what we're down here that like we're not privy to share that also is going into this this great of like not good it's not good it was not good and I think Angel I handled it all with class and I think it it just would have been a lot cleaner if they were able to to bring someone else so well maybe maybe it would be a little bit different if they were to got brought any of the two who I really think were closest points or captains picks they they brought Lily Vu who like

one likely would not have played better no and that's like that's what part of the problem is for sure

in this you know that so when you're looking at the the cards that you're dealt and trying to figure out what it is you okay you want to take Angel or are you trying to win this thing or are you trying to give it just patience yeah yeah yeah it's it's got to do some better I need to do some better sourcing of of what I've heard about that situation before I report that I know it's not fun to be the guy nobody likes to got to know something doesn't say anything but you have to be

responsible in these situations and I don't feel good enough to like report on how that's all you let it live man come on let it well we'll come back to that let's put it let me put a pin in that do a little bit more digging to get some sources to verify what I heard there but what I heard there it doesn't look good on Angel side and that goes into to the grade and the decision to play in this so final great final up Rose Ang 2 and 2 oh my quote from between B minus and C plus B minus right here

didn't draw the hardest matchups didn't wasn't an alpha um did win her singles match

after slim basically quit on it and slim is uh I mean Rose was someone I wanted to see up

front today like like that's one that I'm like I want to see her in the first six yeah it just doesn't seem she's not giving off the vibe that she's like in killer mode at the moment you know yeah so I'm gonna start this by saying first I'm sorry to to team Zang for saying this but I think the the excuses of where Rose was at in life have to have to stop at some point yeah correct Rose is done with college Rose has had multiple months now of back playing full-time

professional golf we were got very excited when Rose finally qualified for this team that she supposed to be like I captain of you know one of our leading point getters um when she finally got enough points to do it she kind of laid some eggs on events leading up to this and then she comes here and it's like you know it's one of those things I understand the Rose is the like silent

Assassin she doesn't like to show a ton of emotions but she's gonna have to s...

something more showing up being more prepared more fiery getting people into it because she is

and she's the motivator which is why I struggle a little bit with like pairing her up with cupcho yeah right yeah maybe we're unfairly blaming her they're not they're not like bringing

out the best you see there yeah yeah yeah I think it maybe you start is it it's probably too kind

to just say all right let's start twenty twenty seven with a fresh slate for Rose now college is completing the review you're going to be healthy hopefully with kind of some things have been lingering and like we'll go from there but yeah we've come down a little bit from twelve major prediction you'll have to do it yeah I don't know the injuries are like a real thing like yeah you know she didn't you know she didn't play Canada because specifically for that yeah and

she knew that she had like she was going to be a captain especially full dad ahead of time she didn't have to um the guardians are having a heck of a lot of fun in front of us it's still leaving the grounds here but captain grades Anna Nordquist give her an A get her on the get her on the team for

vol yeah I got nothing to knit pick I don't think she was like an amazing inspiring captain

from what I got it I give her a B plus like she went a home soul time cut by two points like kind of held serve I'd say um did did the job well done I didn't blow me away it wasn't like that's the blueprint for captain scene necessarily we're working off like 0.1 percent of the information but that's kind of where I'm sitting where what I see from her yeah yeah that's all fair

coding yeah agreed for Anna hey I think she did a great job she's not the raw raw type but I'll

say this is that I think she is one who has a best understanding of her strengths and her weaknesses she found vice captains that she has all the trust in the world and can fill in those gaps that she

knows that she does not mel read being the motivator the let's go out and mess them up can I

had all who is like the the drive and determination of look at me and it's also like you know a sweet heart to everyone and then and then damn who like took her home event and was like trying to get them to understand that the gravity and how big of a deal this is and they all know they come from a bunch of different countries and they dream of like this opportunity of being able to host it and they they lived through that with her I think she didn't in awesome job and I hope

after she thinks about it that she does it again because I think it'd be really cool to see her

captain in the states because yes she's European but she's lived in the states for a long time very successful college player and and based out Arizona I think it would be cool to give her another shot amen Angela Stanford I was actually impressed with Angela this week I was too I came in thinking all right this is going to be between the captain's picks and just not getting a lot on the front end and and I think she was dealt a tough hand and handled it with grace and did everything she possibly

could to get this team over the one yeah I give her I give her a b I thought it was that's fair I don't have a lot of critiquing of actual moves she made I would say get get a stats guys you're as your right hand man to help with a bunch of stuff she had one of the best that you could ever imagine with Justin Ray managed difficult situations like you said I think this is the part where we tear apart captains usually and I really don't have a ton to say it does feel like it was a

a captain of a different generation yeah versus Anna is very much a bridge between this generation in the next so no say well yeah I'm gonna say it be as well she speaks so well she had a plan she stuck to her plan she had stats J Ray there it sounds like I think a little bit of that at least is comes down to a funding thing because you know Justin's gonna provide everything that he possibly can but you gotta have the the the bodies and the manpower to in able to do that

I was was more impressed because her of a player as a player she was a bulldog and was like very kind of stuck inner ways and this is the way it's gonna be and didn't let a lot of people tell her you know anything different and as a captain she appeared very open and welcoming to suggestions from everything and and this this soul hunkup could have very easily gone the other way and I'm gonna say the exact same thing that I said about Anna is that I would love to see her come back again

There is a difference in age but I think there's easy ways to bridge that and...

from the players like there's little things but I think they all bought into it you know and the where we're going is that we're going to have we have a lot of US captain candidates coming up and they're all of that you know older generation out of of high thirties to into their 40s and that's led really by Morgan and then Paula yeah probably Paula and I would say

haven't heard anything but yeah but it'll it'll it'll be very interesting because I think

you know for Morgan's full-time job I know she she was excused from it to be a vice captain but I think this would take a lot more time of her traveling and playing or not playing but talking and spending a lot more time with the players and not just up in the broadcast booth I don't know if that's where she wants to be right now so I don't know but Paula super impressed she was awesome this week great hat to big text I just you know we've done several shows here this week we

had a Friday show did a Saturday show and we've we've spoken a lot just want to revisit it and re-hash for I know a lot but people listen to the Sunday show that for an artist was an awesome

venue awesome venue the crowds were incredible the energy was incredible even with the we showed

up this morning it was raining we're kind of like oh this is going to be tough I this could have been a great moment for the L.P.J. a laser P. and so on so I'm cup a great close Sunday everybody was here today the crowds were amazing even on this Sunday in the rain it was so rainy it was tough it was

very tough and it was just a dream venue I hope this place gets another soul time cup honestly

on sooner rather than later because having been to many of these but and I meant to ask a question to some of the players to somewhere this ranks I know they kind of get political answers on that but this is up there and Van Dam spoke about it and the presser as well just I'll cool it was to bring an event here and how you know great the golf iterations doing here and they nailed it set up everything like it was I've listened to you guys on the podcast last couple of times

talk about this this not being the greatest experience doing it first every single thing that they got wrong in Spain and at R.K.J. both the L.E.T. and the L.P.J. was this was a pretty much a flawless week it was

it was incredible and dead boss has been great where we stayed it's why you know we're getting

it's almost 10 o'clock now I don't know what we're going to do for dinner but we've been able to find dinner post 10 p.m. each last two nights we haven't tried it yet we're going to be in trouble

I think tonight this was going a little long I think the yeah the like the the course was presented

beautifully now Richardson the superintendent and his staff awesome work it's fescue Kyle Phillips like shout to him like this place is is Taylor made for a match play competition again we've talked about it every night they talked about it in post round pressers is a decision to change the routing to fit a match play tournament and the natural amphitheaters that Kyle Phillips figured out how to route out here are so damn cool and if you're looking for like what major

championship venues and try to create that that feeling that we never get at women's events because

everything is too big of a scale and then you put grand scans out and they're usually too small and honestly they don't get filled it was full out here you actually had it was it was two to three deep at points and it felt major it was awesome to actually see it and there were just points of energy like that 12 14 15 here on 16 the first tea die on the first first one was great I'll say this die steward has more energy than anyone else that I've met in golf I don't know how many

jobs she has but pounds it up and down getting everybody fired up using the DJ everybody on the first he every single morning doing you know players announcements and then closing ceremonies it's it's a lot and I don't know how she keeps her voice as fresh as she does but she crushed it how was the bond me sandwich I thought it was good exported a couple more food trucks food trucks of course all this stuff it's because you know I think they learn to get their lesson in Spain

IMG they've just they've crushed it at every single level Michelle and Izzy are media contacts they've done everything that we possibly could do to include be able to do shows here on side which like most people we know we're probably like the last people on site right now and they're waiting for us it's just really cool and it feels great to be rewarded because we just want to showcase these awesome events and the awesome players I think the I'll also give a shout

out to the club for hosting the junior soul home cup I've spoken to a couple people about that

This week and like it's the first time they've had it on site at the event an...

big thing and I would encourage that to happen in Valhalla and wherever they have like that's a you've got Astros Tally here probably the next five soul time cups this is such a good experience

for them and I think like the course doesn't get that much play this week like it's it's match play

there's only you know at max well well groups out there and it's the first pro golf event I've been to in a while where I'm like damn I want to complete this course yeah the header the the the tight surrounds all of it it's just it's it's it's really really tastefully done yeah so yeah I do

I never do this let's usually back back at the scenes you know we have 13 minutes to finish this show

I'm trying else we're going to lose internet yes okay we are going to go quickly listen we did not get to watch the ourselves and Shane Lowry won by 11 shots props to him peep in their second book out a lot of freaking people out there at Dunebeg you give a great review having see I haven't seen Dunebeg a second time through recently yeah didn't get to watch any of it only clip I saw with Shane hooking one and saying that somebody deserved to be hit he was getting very roasted for that one

deservedly it sound like I don't know what the context was of that one but strike 18 on my guy Shane final round 63 65 63 on the weekend that's strong great see wait second time he's winning his national open it's not like keep your politics out of my sports for sure yeah pee pee in walko

finish second Rasmus to your guard Peter's in fourth it's kind of a big big week for the Danes

overall Jake was called Olison was was seven Johnny Rambo the any concerns there Johnny Rambo finished T23 with Joel don't call me Elvis Gerbach David Law David make a lousy piece of that nature it's not going great for my guy he finished one behind former former clique burned beast burger all right we're ready to move on from that one I tease that we were going to talk about live bankruptcy let give us a give us a little time to dive into that one that could be a future

well I think we're going to have plenty of time to catch up on a lot of live stuff I will shout out

Sean's not kind of a piece of just nine takeaways from it some some some fun little details

that that came with that bills fills got an equity stake and live was one of the things learned

and yeah just some some nice details and spawn nuggets in there quick one for everyone before we go everyone in Chicago keep Wednesday September 23rd open myself TC and DJ are going to be doing a free live event with high noon ahead of the president's cup we're going to be hanging out we're going to talk some golf will do a little Q&A I'll give some step away as we warm up for the weekend Emma Diner we're going to be announcing the venue in our newsletter this week and on social media

state tuned on those channels for for all of the details there so look forward to that one greatly so we and we've got a great great part coming out this week with Mike cocking Mike cocking we talked about the the renovation restoration renovation transformation I guess of Medina had the president's cup as well we'll have a ton of president's cup content as well that week but you can afford that episode on Tuesday yeah and then yeah lastly I want to just make a culpa on my end of sorts

I got this one wrong I was went back and listened to it I was I put forth some inaccurate information about ballet bunion and the way I delivered it was it wasn't meant to be malicious but I think it came off as such and and totally owned that I talked to both John Bamberry the the superintendent of ballet bunion and John Agleston the the GM both of whom were extremely well

regarded in the industry and I think you know just coming from a place of hey I appreciate them

being so gracious with me and I hope and do a pod with them in the future too so more to come there but but yeah just yeah didn't expect to kind of ruffle feathers with that and yeah totally totally on me so again appreciate everybody at ballet bunion for the time this week well said TCC do you know at that very much as a TC way right there do you know who I appreciate this week while I going on this week I appreciate sawly man I've been hearing about sawly spent three years

in Amsterdam guys you know I lived in Europe for three years you set up the perfect trip you're the perfect host the perfect tour guide even though it's been years past everything that you ever said and how excited enjoys you got about it due to lived up to every single mark and I know it's hard when you're making recommendations and like you're like man am I like if I excited was it really that cool no dude it's like really cool it's a really cool spot

and thanks for showing us a little slice even though it's changed a little bit but where your old stomping grounds were and I can't wait to put the video together because it's going to

Bang I had the easy part I I got to experience it just been suggestions TCC d...

the planning but thank you thank you for for saying that but it's a special and we're not in Amsterdam

but Amsterdam's obviously a very special place to me but I was just so stoked to come back to the Netherlands and just you know it's not the biggest golf country but it's not been coming

golf country I think they they love they have a lot of great golf offerings which you will see

in the videos when we get there as well and this was just I don't know man this was this was a very very peak week for me I don't want to say I think on it maybe like my favorite week of the year

but it's pretty darn close with the golf we got to play getting go around Amsterdam and getting

to witness this event and yeah it's time to go home tomorrow unfortunately but I had a lot of fun coming back here and covering the event and I would I would call it the most underrated golf destination I've I've been to ever just that combinations of golf of culture and things to do

in a amazing city and also drive between 25 and 50 minutes to like a bunch of world class golf course

that is not especially prevalent in a good proximity and continental Europe like UK Ireland you know all that was you know it's a different category in terms of proximity and

volume but like the Netherlands has an incredible offering or trickles probably the nearest

calm and that's a different style it's more resorty very cold and kind of classic design and it's resorty but it's beautiful but like this is this is a great place and yeah gosh I can't make people say we played three rounds I like I come back and play another like you can come back

and play another four or five rounds and play totally different courses come back and play I know

and I know I know of in cantermer nor advice being read done right now play this place I mean and and you know and still and still have just this good of a trip but to pawn will stick with me for a really really long time because that's a pretty magical golf course and you played awful if I might say so that means that's a high cup and it was rainy and it was and man I was like I did not want that round the video okay okay thank you I soulheim come

guys another soulheim come down these things are awesome go like if you get a chance to go to one I don't want to miss one of these in the next deck like they're it's just it's like it's among my favorite events of the year yeah I'm through Vahala I'll say this a lot of the LBJ tour folks here saw this we saw the visit Louisville people here they were making solid bourbons and and provide a pizza and things like that try and try to win

great yeah but come to Vahala make it I guarantee you it's it will be one of the most fun team events of pure golf that you'll see so we will be there and all likelihood and yeah we'll be back yeah not live next weekend but live at the following week for president's cup we get to do this all all over again so thank you so much for everyone for tuning in the people that are here live on NFL Sunday greatly appreciate that those that watch our Friday and Saturday shows

as well thank you to our friends at titleist high noon and holderness and born thank you on some airplanes go home T.C. he's got a little traveling to do with his wife who made the trip over which is awesome and we have we're getting our internet cut here very soon but time to find some dinner somehow and then Bosch at 11 p.m. and let's hope we get lucky even thanks for tuning in see you back your next week cheers crack on
