Air raid sirens are sounding across Israel this morning.
“This comes after the United States and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran.”
The Israeli military is mourning a retaliatory attacks following today's operation. NPR's Daniel Esteran reports Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the goal is to help the Iranian people topple their regime. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the goal of the joint U.S. Israeli strikes is to quote, "Remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran."
Netanyahu said in a video, "Our joint action will create the conditions for the brave Iranian people to take their destiny into their own hands." President Trump addressed Iranians in a video saying, "Bombs will be dropping everywhere when we are finished, take over your government."
A person briefed on the operation told NPR it was expected to last a few days.
With Israel's military focusing on targeting Iran's missile program, sirens are wailing in Israel warning people to stay in shelters.

Former President Bill Clinton testified before a house panel in New York on Friday about his past relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a closed-door deposition, Clinton told the committee he did nothing wrong and had a long-handed contact with Epstein before his 2008 guilty plea.

The decision comes, despite criticism from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who called the rebrand part of a so-called "woke culture." The organization began allowing Gay Youth in 2013, with it its fan on Gay Adult Leaders in 2015, an open membership to transgender youth in 2017. The time left to register to vote in this year's primary elections is ending soon in a
couple of states, and Pyrnus Hansi Lowlong reports the deadlines come as a handful of states get ready to hold primaries next month for the November midterms. There are only hours left to register to vote in North Carolina's primary election. Elgible voters there can sign up and cast a ballot at early voting sites until 3 p.m. Eastern, if they bring their proof of residence and a photo ID.
And in Illinois, Sunday is the last day to register online, after that Illinois voters can sign up at election offices through the last day of voting on March 17. Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas are also preparing to hold statewide primary races next month. It's too late to register for those, but Elgible voters still have months left to sign
up at cast ballots in this false general election. If you're already registered, you may want to confirm your status before those deadlines. Voters can sometimes fall off a list, especially if they move chains are named or haven't voted in a while. On Zila Wong and Pyrnus.
Target says will stop selling cereals made with synthetic food dyes by the end of May. The retailer says about 85% of its cereal sales already come from products without artificial coloring. This is NPR News.
