Life from NPR News in Washington, 9/4 of a Coleman, President Trump says the U.
progress in the war it is waging with Israel against Iran.
“Speaking at the White House yesterday, Trump says one of his goals has been met.”
We killed all their leadership, and then they met to choose due leaders, and we killed all of them. And now we have a new group, and we can easily do that, but let's see how they turn out. We have really regime change, you know, this is a change in the regime, because the
leaders are all very different than the ones that we started off with that created all those problems. But critics of the war say, while there has been a change among people who are leading Iran, the Iranian regime, is still intact. Meanwhile, the Associated Press reports Pakistan has received a copy of what's been described
as a 15-point peace plan from the Trump administration to Iran, about ending the war. But officials in Iran have consistently denied that any negotiations are underway.
“A spokesman for Iran's revolutionary guard as the U.S. if it was negotiating with itself.”
No peace plan has been publicized. Still NPR's D.A. Hadid reports, Pakistan's prime minister says his country is ready to host talks to help settle the conflict. In a statement by Prime Minister Sherba Sharif, he said Pakistan would be honored to help and the conflict.
It came after the financial times reported that Pakistan's powerful military chief, field
martial arts and manoeir, spoke to President Trump on Sunday. The Prime Minister Sharif spoke to the Iranian President a day later. Those conversations came at around the same time as Trump said he would delay his threat to destroy Iran's energy grid after what he said were productive conversations with Iran to rent in the war. It was not clear if the two were related.
The country has warm relations with the Trump administration, Iran and Gulf nations. D.A. Hadid and P.R. News, Maita. A deal to fund at least part of the Department of Homeland Security may be on the horizon. This comes as U.S. airports are clogged with long security lines because many transportation security administration officers are calling out or quitting their jobs altogether.
Trump yours, Barbara Sprunt, has more. Congressional Democrats have refused to fund DHS without implementing restraints on immigration enforcement after federal agents killed two U.S. citizens earlier this year. Republicans and Democrats have been trading offers back and forth with little progress. President Trump acknowledged the ongoing negotiations without much optimism.
“"I think any deal they make, I'm pretty much not happy with it."”
One proposal is to use a budget tool to fund the rest of ice later, along with another priority of the president's in election overhaul bill. But some Republicans are skeptical that that will work. Barbara Sprunt and P.R. News, the capital. This is NPR.

that would have let fans create their own AI video content based on movies such as Star Wars. NPR's Chloe Veltman reports this comes after OpenAI announced it is closing down its video AI tool, Sora. In a statement to NPR, OpenAI said it saw a research table focused on advancing robotics
to help solve real world physical tasks. Disney's statement, meanwhile, said it respects OpenAI's decision, and that it will continue to engage with AI platforms in ways that respect intellectual property. Disney's former CEO, Bob Aiger, first hinted at plans to enable AI-based fan content last November on an earnings call.
"AI is going to give us the ability to provide users of Disney Plus with a much more engaged experience including the ability for them to create user-generated content."
Disney had plans to invest $1 billion in OpenAI in a landmark three-year licensing deal last
December. Chloe Veltman MP on use. Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stid has selected a new Senator to fill the term of Mark Wayne Mullin, who's been confirmed as the new Homeland Security Secretary. It shows energy executive Alan Armstrong, a Republican, he will fill the seat until
