A running at end American delegations are meeting in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, trying

to negotiate and end to the Middle East war.

It would be the first face to face engagement between Iran and the United States since 2015

when the Obama administration negotiated and a nuclear deal with Iran that the Trump administration ended. NPR's Deanna did reports. Both delegations met individually with the Pakistani Prime Minister Sharbar Sharif, the Americans are led by Vice President JD Vance, and the Iranians by the Parliament Speaker Muhammad

Barra Ralebaugh, the negotiations are based on a 10-point Iranian plan that includes an end to attacks and sanctions on the country. President Trump told me on Friday that his main demand was, "No nuclear weapon, that's 99 percent of it." The Trump administration is defending a plan to restructure the U.S. forest service in

the US.
