Iran fired ballistic missiles at Israel. The Israeli military says all of the Iranian missiles were intercepted, and PR's Greg Mairi has more. The Iranian missiles targeted northern Israel, where warning sirens rang out Sunday night. The Israeli military said shortly afterward, it had shut down all the incoming missiles.

Iran. Greg Mairi, NPR News, Tel Aviv.

Lawmakers in the House are preparing to take up a $70 billion bill to fund federal immigration
enforcement for the next three years that measured cleared the Senate last week.
“NPR's Eric McDaniel says border security and immigration enforcement are among President Trump's”
top priorities. The mass deportations were a central campaign talking point for Trump, but it took basically six months to get here, and they weren't quiet. Public opinions started to turn on immigration enforcement after federal agents killed to American citizens in Minnesota early in the year, and Democrats, of course, shut down
the agency that overseas immigration enforcement for months, in a failed effort to secure reforms like body cameras and limits on face covering stuff like that. That's NPR's Eric McDaniel, much of the money would fund U.S. immigration and customs enforcement or ICE. Police in New York City say six people were injured last night in a stabbing attack
inside Penn Station, a suspect is in custody. This is NPR News. stadium in Inkelwood, California. As NPR's Windsor Johnston reports, Kansas City is one of the city's bracing for the large crowds. Regional planners say the World Cup could bring as many as 650,000 visitors to the Kansas City area.
Communities across the region are finalizing security, transportation, and emergency response plans ahead of the tournament. Meg Ralph is the Overland Parks strategic communications director. She says communities are also trying to make sure fans without tickets can still take part.
"Most communities that I know are offering free or low costs to watch party experiences for people who either don't want to go to the game or can't get to the game, and so that is a really good alternative to still kind of feel that soccer atmosphere." Kansas City's first match is set for June 16th when Argentina takes on Algeria, Windsor Johnston and PR news.
The World Cup final will be played July 19th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Wall Street Futures are mostly higher this morning. I'm Dave Madingley, NPR-Nair, saying Washington, hundreds of thousands of people came to the US as small children as the only home they've ever known.
