"Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Dan Roman.

President Trump said Thursday the U.S. cancelled plan military strikes against Iran because

he said a peace agreement is imminent.

However, he said a naval blockade will remain in effect until the deal is finalized.

When asked if negotiators had secured an agreement to stop Iran from having a nuclear weapon, he responded, "Yes, conceptually, speaking to reporters Trump insists a deal is close. "We just made a great settlement of the war with the Red, and we're going to be subject to finalization of documents.

We should get done over the next few days. We probably have a signing, maybe in Europe." There's been no official confirmation from Iran that an agreement is close. It's official evil on Musk's SpaceX. It's pulled off the biggest IPO in history, NPR's John Rootich has more.

The previous record holder for the biggest IPO was the Saudi oil company Saudi aramco.

It raised nearly $30 billion when it listed in 2019.

SpaceX will more than double that, with a $75 billion payload. The company has confirmed that it will sell more than $555 million at $135 each.

SpaceX has big plans for spending the money to grow its rocket satellite communications

and artificial intelligence businesses. The listing will open SpaceX up to a new level of scrutiny, though, because it'll have to publish quarterly and annual financial reports. Some analysts say investing in SpaceX is a bet on Elon Musk, who will be firmly in control. He is CEO, board chairman, and holds more than 80% of voting power among shareholders.
