President Trump has signed a preliminary agreement for a 60-day ceasefire with Iran,

and Pierce Franco or Tonya's reports Trump signed the framework that outlines further

negotiations while at dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron. The President told a group of eager reporters that he signed the memory and am of understanding while dining with the French President at the Palace of Versailles, outside Paris. "Best of President, please, just one question for French TV at the RN deal. Just one question for me." "You signed the deal." "You signed the deal." "You signed the deal." "You signed the deal." "You signed the deal." "You signed the deal." "You signed the deal."

And according to Iranian State Media, Iran has also signed the agreement. At an earlier press conference, Trump said the new agreement opens the state of Hormuz to toll free shipping, and states Iran will not pursue a nuclear weapon. Franco or Donas and Piano News, Geneva." Stocks tumbled today after the federal reserve signaled it may have to raise interest rates by the end of the year, and Pierce Scott Horsey reports the Dow dropped more than 500 points

or about 1 percent.

The Federal Reserve held its benchmark interest rate steady, but updated forecast

suggests members of the Fed's rate-setting committee expect to raise rates by a quarter percentage point before the end of the year. The news comes as a wartime spike in energy prices has pushed inflation to its highest level in more than three years. The Fed's new chairman, Kevin Warsh, vowed he and his colleagues will bring prices under control. "I've said for years inflation is a choice. You bet it is. And today I'm announcing that this committee unambiguously and unanimously have decided we are going to deliver on that."

Warsh also announced the formation of several task forces to review the way the Fed tracked the economy, manages its bond holdings, and communicates with the public. Sarah Callis reports lawmakers had convened today for a special session. "George's Republican speaker of the House John Burns says that it is not the right time to redistrict."

"Changes to our district maps have the potential to impact every voter in Georgia, and they deserve the same

thoughtful, fact-driven process that has always guided the House."

Governor Brian Campbell ordered the special session to address voting issues including drawing new district lines after the Supreme Court weakened the voting rights act. Other Republican-led southern states redistricted for midterms this fall. Republican lawmakers did not rule out redistricting during the regular legislative session next year. "Shoppers stepped up their spending in Maine surpassing economists expectations as temperatures warm and gasoline prices leveled off, sales got a boost from government tax refunds in both April and May, though economists say that cushion is starting to fade. Cameron Hamilton led a FEMA briefly last year until he was fired after defending the agency's existence. At a hearing today, Hamilton said his focus will be to ensure that FEMA's objective, fair and reasonable falls the law and is consistent.

Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama will preside over the dedication

of the Obama Presidential Center on Chicago, South Side, and Piers of Don Gany reports. "It's traditional for former presidents to create a library to house records and documents from their presidency and to highlight their time in the White House. The Obama Center is different. First off, it's not a presidential library.

The logic being that records from the Obama era were digital and are accessible online. There's a museum, but the Center also features a branch of the Chicago Public Library. There's ample park space, even a regulation NBA size basketball court. Guess that the dedication ceremony will include former presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Joe Biden, not invited President Donald Trump who's known to regularly insult and demean Obama in speeches and to the press.
