US Central Command has lifted a maritime blockade on Iranian ports.
“Emperor's Quil Lawrence reports it's a concession that was made in the ceasefire agreement”
between the United States and Iran. "Sentcom announced on social media that US forces have lifted the ban on ships entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, in accordance with the President's direction, and that American forces are no longer interdicting vessels off Iran's coast. Iran, for its part, has committed to letting oil tankers move safely through the straight
of our moves, where 20% of the world's oil transits. Also moving through will be Iranian oil exports now free of sanctions under the deal. Sentcom says the U.S. Navy remains in the area to make sure that the terms of the ceasefire are obeyed. The two countries have started counting the 60-day deadline for outstanding issues to be resolved,
including the disposition of Iran's nuclear program, Quil Lawrence and PR News." Many celebrities and four living presidents were on hand in Chicago today at the dedication of the Obama Presidential Center, and Pierre Stammerkeeth has more from Chicago.

"The Remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur continue to move inland with heavy rainfall expected in parts of the south and the south east.
Though the storm didn't hit as much of Louisiana as originally forecast, some southern parishes still saw storms flooding and tornadoes, mellbridges with member-station WWNO has more."

to nine inches of rainfall. Because south of New Orleans were hit the hardest, including terribon parish in our southwest. Parish Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Director Earl used says the rain overwhelmed the flood control system. "Our pumping system, which was running at the time, just can't handle that lodge of a rainfall
at one time, but as the rain stopped, pumping systems were able to catch up." Flooding was reported in several parishes. Videos shared on social media show, alligator swimming down flooded streets. And the P. Winner and team captain, Jalen Brunson, still seemed in disbelief. "Yeah. We really did it, dog." The ceremony capped a magical season that exhilarated the city. Attendees included a who's who of New Yorkers, including film director Spike Lee.

for the first time in more than three months."
Dr. Police says the average price for a gallon of regular $3.99, but prices fluctuate around the country, and California is about $5.50 a gallon in South Carolina is $3.58. This as the U.S. blockade of the state of Hormuz is being lifted, crude oil closed below $80 a barrel today. Wall Street hired by the closing bell the NASDAQ up nearly 2%.
