Vance is defending the initial agreement with the Ron. Vance spoke at a White House briefing Thursday, saying Americans are already benefiting from it.

I think the president's peace plan in Iran has already bearing real

fruits for the American people. Last night, 12.5 million barrels of oil

went through the straight of four moves. That is a high since the beginning of the conflict. Oil prices are down nearly at their level from the free war conflict. Gas prices drop below $4 a gallon today for the first time since the conflict. And importantly, they're going to keep falling further given how low price low oil prices are. Vance had been expected to

participate in a formal signing ceremony, a meet with Iranian negotiators in Geneva, Friday, but that trip has been delayed. The White House is citing difficult logistics for a new round of negotiations. The post-pulment follows a report that Iran is delaying its delegation over Israel's ongoing military campaign in Lebanon. The Dallas County medical examiner has ruled

the death and ice custody of a 41-year-old Afghan asylum seeker to be an accident. He used to public media's Andrew Schneider says

a county announced the finding on its website Thursday more than 90 days

after the man's death. "Mahamat Nazir Paktiwal served alongside U.S. Army Special Forces in Afghanistan for more than a decade. He and his family were evacuated to the U.S. and resettled in Texas after Kabul fell to the Taliban in 2021. On March 13th he was seized outside his home by ice agents. He was taken to

Dallas Parkland Hospital that evening with chest pains and shortness of breath. According to ice, his tongue swelled the next morning. Hospital's staff administered epinephrine and attempted life-saving measures, but he died. Paktiwal's brother, widow, and children are still baffled, saying in a statement, "We do not understand. What kind of accident takes a healthy 41-year-old

man who was in the care of the United States government? For NPR News, I'm Andrew Schneider in Houston." "The Trump administration reversing course on its effort to shut down a network of ocean research stations, the National Science Foundation announced Thursday a halt to the removal of floating observatories off four states in the

coast of Greenland. John Ryan at Member Station, KUOW reports." The reversal comes after the U.S. Senate voted unanimously Wednesday to block the Trump administration from dismantling the ocean monitoring system. The high-tech stations have been in place for a decade off Alaska, North Carolina, the Pacific Northwest, and Greenland. They monitor ocean conditions including

storms, temperatures, and oxygen levels. Their data is available in real time to the public. Six observatories off the Northwest coast had been quietly pulled from the sea starting last September. They've been sitting in an Oregon warehouse. The Science Foundation now says those observatories will go back in the water after being serviced."

"You're listening to NPR News. You're a city Thursday. The next celebrated their MBA title win with a ticker-taped parade down Broadway and

a ceremonial key to the city from Arizona. I'm Donny. NPR's Brian Man reports

a massive crowd of Nick's fans turned out for the celebration. People roared with happiness as members of the 2026 NBA Champion, Nick's rolled past off. There were celebrities like Timothy Schellemay and Spike Lee at the parade, but most of the people packed along Broadway were simply New Yorkers, like Kevin Nester, who stuck with the Nick's through a

championship drought that lasted 53 years. "I sigh over relief. Finally, we got it. I

cried a little bit. Great for the city. Great for our next fans. Best feeling ever." To beat the San Antonio Spurs, the Nick's had to claw their way from behind in games four and five. During the ceremony at City Hall Mayor Mamdonny thanked the team for bringing the city together with pure unfiltered joy, Brian Man and PR News, New York. "The city mounted a massive security

operation for the parade. Officials say some 10,000 police officers were deployed and that 10 people were arrested and three others issued summonses on charges ranging from disorderly conduct a felony assault. Canada has won its first-ever men's World Cup match. Canada's shutout Qatar scoring six goals with the help of a head trick by forward Jonathan David, the victory

boost chances that Canada will reach the tournament's knockout stage, but it was overshadowed by an ugly injury to mid-fielder Ismail Konek. Canada's coach says he was taken to a hospital for surgery. This is NPR News. "This is our glass. On this American life, when they mean like, it's a good mystery. Sometimes about really big things. But most times, the little mysteries are the best. Our

lost and found is currently filled with pants. I don't know, I've never seen

this happen. This is true." "Mistries have every size each week. This American
