Vice President, JD Vance, is postponing his trip to Switzerland and negotiate with

Iran, and PR's Rob Schmitz reports, Tehran says, "The official signing ceremony scheduled

for today in Lasserne has been called off." The announcement comes amidst renewed Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, the kill that least 18 people, according to Lebanon's health ministry, Israel says, "For a bit, soldiers have been killed and fighting against has been allowed in southern Lebanon."

The first article of the peace agreement that the U.S. and Iran reschedule the sign today

promises to ensure the territorial integrity of Lebanon. It's not clear when or if the U.S. and Iran will finalize the peace agreement. Earlier this week, President Trump said the U.S. would bomb Iran, if it violated the agreement, an Iran speaker of Parliament responded with a social media post saying if the agreement is breached, Iran would deliver, quote, "acrushing response to the enemy."

Rob Schmitz and Pyrenees, loser. The legal team for Luigi Manjoni is backing away from plans to mount a psychiatric defense. The shift came a day after his attorneys said they would argue he was experiencing an

extreme emotional disturbance, and PR's Brian Mann reports Manjoni is accused in the

fatal shooting of a top insurance company executive. Manjoni pleaded not guilty to killing Brian Thompson, CEO of the insurance company United Healthcare in Manhattan in 2024. At a hearing Wednesday, his team acknowledged Manjoni had been undergoing psychiatric evaluation, and signal they would argue he was experiencing an emotional disturbance.

But on Thursday, Manjoni's team filed a legal document saying that at this time, they no longer planned to introduce psychiatric evidence during the state trial. Former prosecutor in legal analyst Gary Galperon described it as a stunning change, adding what remains is the question of what defense they will pursue at trial. Manjoni's attorneys didn't respond to a request for comment, Brian Mann and PR news

There's no overstating how important ballistic is to this team, specifically right now,

his left calf muscle. In last Friday's game against Paraguay, Policic took a kick to the calf from an opposing player and had to come out a half-time. Coach Mauricio Pochatino said, "Policic is making a "massive effort to try to be ready," but he could not say whether he'd be available to play.

He's evolving, he's much rather from Friday, will see.

In their first World Cup game last week, Australia beat Turkey, 2 to 0.

Becky Sullivan and PR news Seattle. This is NPR news. The U.S. military says it struck a boat in the eastern Pacific suspected of drug smuggling Thursday, killing three people. The strike brings the number of people killed in U.S. operations targeting suspected

A British politician, who's expected to challenge Prime Minister Kier Starmer, has won a local election to return to Parliament, and PR's Robbie Griffith's reports, Andy Burnham's victory is likely to mean more political turmoil for the U.K.

Burnham won the by-election for the constituency of make-of-field and greater Manchester early Friday morning. In his victory speech, Burnham hinted its plans to challenge for Prime Minister. "Everyone can feel that the country isn't where it should be. Tonight, could, just could, be the turning point."

Burnham is a member of Britain's ruling Labour Party, the same as Prime Minister Kier Starmer, but after Labour performed poorly in local elections last month. Burnham, who was mayor of Greater Manchester, said he would run for Parliament. If he succeeds in replacing Starmer soon, Burnham could become Britain's fifth Prime Minister in four years.
