"Li from NPR News in Washington, I'm damn runnin', President Trump used his f...

of July speech on the National Mall, Saturday night, to harshly criticise communist, and

PR's marvelous in reports."

Communists is Donald Trump's latest epithet for Democrats, and he's been using it lately

as he searches for an advantage for Republicans in the midterm elections. "Our warriors did not fight communism on battlefields across the world, only to have that medicine rear its ugly head right back here in America." Trump is referring to a handful of members of the Democratic Socialists of America, who just won some Democratic primaries.

In safe blue districts, like in New York City, those wins may not matter, since a Democrat was expected to win their anyway. But many Democrats are worried that in swing states and districts, they could be nominating

candidates that are too far left to win a general election.

"Our alliance and NPR News." Belgium is criticizing a decision by FIFA to allow a star striker from the U.S. men's national soccer team to play in tomorrow's world game between the two teams.

This despite receiving a red card in the last match, NPR's Becky Sullivan reports.

"The red card given to U.S. striker Philar and Balagin in the round of 32 match against Bosnia and Herzegovina was already controversial. Balagin did step on a defender's ankle, but the contact was an intentional and similar dust-ups and other games had gone unpunished. But red cards are supposed to come with an automatic suspension for the next game, so FIFA's

decision to allow Balagin to play anyway has up to the controversy by an order of magnitude.

In his statement, the Belgian football Federation said they were "estonished" at FIFA's

decision, and head coach Rudy Garcia said he "didn't know that in the FIFA World Cup, the July 5th was April 1st, April Fool's Day." The Belgian Federation says they are "investigating all potential options." Becky Sullivan and Pierre News, Seattle. A day after the 4th of July festivities in the U.S., Venezuela is marking its independence

day, but the country is picking up the pieces following the twin earthquakes.

John Otis reports from Caracas Venezuela. Venezuela declared independence from Spain 215 years ago, but after back to back earthquakes that killed nearly 3,000 people, few here are celebrating. Many are searching for loved ones, those who lost their homes are getting resettled in temporary encampments, like this one in Caracas, where volunteers distribute food and

play music to keep children entertained. Venezuela also lost some of its independence in January. That's when American troops captured the country's authoritarian leader, Nicolas Maduro. President Trump has claimed that the U.S. is "running the country." This is NPR.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating an incident Saturday night. This after the pilot of a Delta Airlines plane reported they had been struck by a fireworks motor as it approached Chicago's Midway International Airport. No one was injured, and the plane landed safely, there had been reports of fireworks in the densely populated neighborhood on Chicago's southwest side.

Militian groups claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on military positions in various parts of Mavay yesterday. Michael Coloki has more. Gunfight and explosions were her yesterday, in several areas of the West African nation, including the key cities of Gal and Savari.

The Al-Qaeda linked militant group, JNIM, claimed responsibility for attacks on military positions in parts of the country. While the rebel group, FLA, also claimed to have carried out a number of attacks. In a statement, Mavay's military run government said that several assailants had been killed and many others injured in counteroffensive.

Earlier in April this year, the JNIM and FLA staged a coordinated attack on the country's main airport in the capital city Bamaqo. Following that attack, the United Nations called for an international response to violence in the West Africa's ahead region, for imperial use of Michael Coloki in Nairobi. Paul Pelosi, the 86-year-old husband of House Speaker Emeritus Nancy Pelosi, Friday was in

a car crash in Central California and police say he left the scene of the accident. Police say Pelosi's car hit a parked vehicle, causing major damage, and that he stopped briefly then drove away. Pelosi could face a misdemeanor charge, no one was injured. I'm Dan Ronan, and PR News support for this message comes from lies.
