“the memorandum of understanding, sowing between the U.S. and Iran.”
Israel was not part of the preliminary plan to end the war, and is concerned about the details in the deal. And P.R.'s Kerry Con reports the 60-day ceasefire expires next month. Israel has been sidelined in the negotiations to end the war with Iran, a source familiar with the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly about Netanyahu's plans, tells
NPR that Israeli prime minister has been asking repeatedly for a face-to-face with Trump, and that Netanyahu wants to seek U.S. approval for potential Israeli military action against Iran if "that becomes necessary." Netanyahu, who faces tough elections thus fall, has been on the defense of about the U.S. Iran deal.
It is very unpopular and Israel and perceived as making too many concessions to Iran.
