Democrats and Maine are up against the clock to find a new U.S. Senate candidate.
“Graham Plattener suspended his campaign after a woman accused him of rape and allegation”
he is denied. The state's Democratic Party has until July 27 to name a replacement to take on Republican Senator Susan Collins in the fall. Kevin Miller from member station Maine Public reports. Plattener continues to deny recent accusations that he raped a former romantic partner
five years ago. But during an emotional video filmed outside, he accused Washington interests of using the allegations to neutralize his populist anti-establishment campaign. We believe that for the movement to continue, it can't be made. The Marine Corps veteran and Orsterman handling one Maine's Democratic primary last month.

“The fighting between the U.S. and Iran shows no signs of easing, after a second night”

Iran's top negotiator, Mohammed Bagger Galibough, wrote on X, the social media site, after the second day of U.S. strikes began, and he was warning quote, "If you strike, you will get hit, and he wrote that the street of her moves would only fully reopen on Iranians." That's MPR's Emily Fang reporting. Trump accounts are a new investment option that parents have for their children's

Whether parents should invest their own money, depends on if they've already taken advantage of what could be better options. A federal judge has ordered the release of the $5 million jewelry award to writer-easing
Carol. The money had been held by the court while President Trump appealed the verdict, finding him liable for sexually abusing Carol and defaming her. The Supreme Court declined to hear Trump's appeal. The judge ruled there was no longer any legal basis to withhold the funds.
Health care workers responding to an outbreak of Ebola in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo say they have not been paid by the government. NPR's Dory Buscarin reports their protesting delayed wages, unfair treatment, and a lack of protective gear. The Bundesliga strain of Ebola has second more than 1,700 people in this outbreak, and killed
almost 600. Frontline health workers in E. Tori Province told the Associated Press they have not been paid their wages and bonuses from Congo's government since the outbreak was declared on May 15th. They said they're on strike to protest their working conditions.
Local media reported that several health care workers protested on Monday, burning tires outside a hospital in Bounia. Capital of the hardest hit province in this outbreak. The strike comes as enrollment for clinical trials have begun in Congo, for two treatments that may help treat the Boun Deputio strain, Dory Buscarin and Piano's Washington.
