The French beat Morocco yesterday too nothing to become one of the tournament's final four teams. NPR's Eleanor Beardsley says the match drew thousands of people into the streets of Paris to cheer on their team. It's a hot night in Paris. There are screens set up everywhere at all the bars and cafes and crowds watching. There are just tons of people out here and many are wearing Moroccan flags on their back. France has a large Moroccan diaspora and they say they're showing pride in
their roots. But these Morocco fans say they're also rooting for their blue. The score remains zero zero until halftime but France's killing and Mbappe soon scored his eighth goal of the tournament.
