President Trump threatened to Iran tonight after open calls earlier this week were
“air during Iran's funeral for its former Supreme Leader.”
He was killed during air strikes by Israel and Iran, Trump said if they tried to carry out threats to kill him, the military would completely decimate Iran. "The bipartisan housing affordability bills become law, while President Trump refused to sign the measure, became law at midnight after a ten-day waiting period. NPR Steve and Bassaha explains what the measure will do for Americans."
"It has one main goal, making homes more affordable. This bill tries to do that by encouraging home building through a bunch of different angles, like streamlining federal regulations, making it easier for banks to invest in housing. And there's one part of the bill that Trump personally pushed for. It is this ban preventing large corporations from buying up tons of homes.
Many large investment owns at least 350 single-family homes will not be allowed to buy anymore."

The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for parts of Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota. Utah assistant state climatologist John Meyer says climate change is making summer heat waves like this, more of the norm. "We have more opportunities during that period for these big heat waves to develop.
And they last a little bit longer, they're a little bit more intense, and are becoming more frequently on a year-to-year climate scale." "Here's how to be safe. The Weather Service says to stay inside with air conditioning if you can. If you do need to go outside where lightweight, light-colored clothes drink a lot of water
and try to move outdoor activities away from the hottest parts of the day. For NPR news, I'm Sierra Healett in Salt Lake City, Utah." In Nigeria, dozens of school children and teachers who were abducted by gunmen from a school almost two months ago have been freed.
“Authorities say the group was rescued, following an effort by security operatives.”
NPR's "Jewelbright" has our reports. This book's present for an English president says the children and yet teachers were rescued by security operatives, following an operation that left several of their abductors dead. Details of the operation have done been released, but authorities say 8 kidnappers were arrested. 8 total of 39 school children, aged between 4 and 16, and 7 teachers were taken during
the abduction in May, and at least one teacher died in captivity. The abduction spots anger across Nigeria and their to several protests and strike actions by teachers across the country. Several abductions for ransom have become commonplace across Nigeria in recent years, amid a worsening security crisis in the country.
Jewelbright's "NPR News" Legos. And you're listening to NPR news. Grand Platner is withdrawn from Maine's U.S. Senate race his decision ends, what had become a contentious campaign. A former girlfriend recently said Platner had once raped her, and he's faced other charges
of sexual and propriety. Democrats had hoped the populace candidate would help with the party's efforts to take back the U.S. Senate from a public and control. The parents of Nolan Wells are still looking for answers in their son's death. His body was found off the Mississippi coast this past week.
At a press conference in New York City, Wells' parents spoke alongside civil rights attorney Benjamin Kromp, whom they've retained in Reverend Al Sharpton. Wells' mother, Christine Wells-Wanzley, called for transparency and honesty in the investigation. Law enforcement has not yet announced a cause of death. Results from the state's autopsy, as well as an independent autopsy called for by Kromp,
are both pending. Sharpton says they're waiting to announce funeral plans, but says he'll be officiating. For NPR news, I'm Elise Gregg, In Jackson, Mississippi.
For the second time during this World Cup, Spain's Mikhail Marino scored off the bench
to help his team advance. He scored in the 88th minute Friday, as Spain beat Belgium to one. They now move into the semi-files and Tuesday with a match against tournament favorite France. Marino also scored late in Spain's one nil win over Portugal on Monday.
