In addition to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum will close early due to temperatures forecast to soar above a hundred degrees Fahrenheit through next week. Paris is mostly on air conditioned as temperatures are usually in the mid-80s this time a year.

Flooding in parts of Kentucky and Missouri has led to rescue operations for stranded motorists and a summer camp along the Black River. More than 200 children and counselors were airlifted from flood waters that camped Tom Sock on Friday.

were killed, including a child and 29 others were wounded in those attacks. Four people were also killed in Ukraine's Sumi region, while two others died from a missile attack in Odessa. no other information about the death.
