For term U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has died from a brief and sudden illness according

to his Senate office, the South Carolina Republican died last night, two days after marking

his 71st birthday. The day before he died, Graham was in Ukraine and had met with President Vladimir Zelensky about boosting Ukraine's air defenses. Graham was known as one of the most outspoken Republican advocates of Ukraine, following Russia's invasion.

Graham was up for reelection in November and in June after a bitter primary fight, Graham told his supporters that he was optimistic. "And President Trump, I'm coming back to the Senate in 2007. I'm going to win in November. I don't know how to help you change this world and change this country."

Senator Graham had allied himself with Donald Trump after Trump's first election win in 2016, writing on his social media platform Truth Social. The president is calling Graham one of the greatest people and senators that he ever

knew always working a true American patriot.

The U.S. and Iran are again exchanging fire for the third weekend in a row.

The back-and-forth strikes began after Iran fired warning shots at a tanker attempting to transit through the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. retaliated striking multiple sites in Iran and PR's carry-con has more. Iran's Navy says it fired the warning shots at a container vessel after "several ships attempted to travel along an unapproved route through the vital waterway."

The U.S. has urged ships to use a southern route through the Strait that hugs the coast of Oman. Iran says that is a violation of the memorandum of understanding sign last month between Iran and the U.S. Posting on X, the U.S. military says it completed a third round of strikes overnight,

hitting more than 100 targets, to hold quote Iranian forces accountable for its attack on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran says it responded with fire toward Jordan and other Gulf states, the U.A.E. and Qatari officials report intercepting incoming missile attacks. Carry-con and PR news, Tel Aviv.

Investors on Wall Street headed for a busy week with the slew of earnings from Major

Banks in a critical inflation report, and PR's Rafael Nam has the preview.

Another link season is kicking off again, and Major Banks from Bank of America to JPMorgan are set to report the results this week. Netflix will also report its earnings. Investors are also looking forward to the latest inflation report out on Tuesday. Consumer prices have searched in the past few months.

Mainly as energy prices have spiked over the war with Iran. And Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Worsh is set to testify before Congress as part of the traditional semi-annual event. It will be a great opportunity to hear what he makes of the current state of inflation and economy, Rafael Nam in PR news.
