A bipartisan Senate group is moving forward with a Russia sanctions bill, and an Irish-quality U.S. report on the bill that's become a tribute to the late Senator

Lindsey Graham. The bipartisan group repeatedly evokes Senator Graham's name in touting the plan, which was months in the banking, that includes Republican Roger Wicker, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee.

This is Lindsey Graham's greatest achievement, when it comes to saving lives, ensuring peace

for Europe this is a seminal achievement. The bill with sanctioned top-russian leaders enforced tariffs on countries who import Russian oil.

When Klein-felture of member-station W.D.E.T. reports the epicenter of the disease is in Michigan. Cyclosporiasis causes weight loss, cramping, and what's known as "explosive diarrhea."

It's affecting over 30 states, but has hit Michigan hardest. Cases here have doubled in less than a week, to more than 3300. In state university, Dr. Tina Chopra says the parasite causing the illness most likely

came from fresh produce, but she says pinpointing the exact source is difficult.

"They had to interview 1,000 people to come to this conclusion that it might be "let a source" cabbage or some green leafy salad." The disease does not spread from person to person, and can take weeks for symptoms to develop. For NPR News, I'm Quinn Klein-felture in Detroit.

That's a reserve term in Kevin Worst was on Capitol Hill Tuesday where he promised lawmakers on the House Financial Services Committee that the Fed will get inflation under control. "At the Fed, our number one objective is getting monetary policy right. That's our clear and constant aim. The star we steer by, and if we get policy right, and I can assure you we will.

The inflation surge of the last five years will be a thing of the past." "Fourish appear before the panel as fresh data showed inflation cooled in June. This is NPR News." And France, a wildfire, is burning in a forest 35 miles south of Paris. In Paris, Eleanor Beardsley reports that the blaze has forced some 1,000 people in and

around a historic forest to flee their homes and may have been started by a criminal act. The Fontainebleau forest surrounds the 16th century shadow of the same name and was long a hunting ground for French royalty.

Today it's known for its rock climbing, camping, and biodiversity, and welcome some 18 million

visitors a year. The fire broke out Sunday and more than 10 places, say officials, who suspect human involvement two people have been apprehended for questioning some 900 firefighters are battling the flames which raged all night.
