President Trump's new tariffs on dozens of U.S. trading partners are going into effect
this hour. The U.S. is imposing new taxes up 10 to 12.5% on imports from about 60 countries using a 1974 trade law to charge that they have in adequately enforced bands on goods produced by forced labor. They are coming into effect as temporary 10% global tariffs expire, Trump imposed them as
a stop gap measure after the Supreme Court struck down the tariffs he imposed last year. Trump talked about data centers Thursday speaking to executives and governors gathered at the environmental protection agency. You have all these plans are going to be opening up over the next two years sooner but two

According to the State Department, the Iranian business conglomerate, Bejo O'Pars, or BJP, plays an important role in Iranian missile production and has tried to procure sensitive materials through front companies around the world. The U.S. has already revoked about a hundred visas of people linked to these business dealings and now it has added two more employees to a reward for justice announcement.

This is NPR. The US Coast Guard says a seaplane operated by Kenmore Air had to make an emergency landing in the waters near Washington State, Susha Island, an image released by the Guard shows a seaplane on fire, 11 people were on board, but the Guard says everyone on board has been accounted for.
On Capitol Hill, the House went one way the Senate, the other on a resolution that would curb President Trump's Iran War power, the resolution directs Trump to halt military action unless he obtains congressional approval. The Republican led House passed it on a 214-2008 vote with four Republicans joining Democrats in voting for it hours later.
The Senate blocked a similar measure. In Eagle that's believed to be one of the Internet Famous Eagle couple Jackie and Shadow has received a blood transfusion and appears to be improving. That's according to the Wildlife Rescue Group taking care of the female eagle from a Memorization KVCR, Madison Alman reports.
The Ohio Raptor Center says on Instagram that despite the transfusion, the Eagle believed to be Jackie still has severe anemia, but she's getting better on other fronts. Rehabilitation Manager Eliza Cameron posted that her kidney inflammation has improved. The Eagle continues to perch and ate and there is slight improvement in her energy. They also determine that Eagle does not have a lead or foreign objects in her system.
The Eagle was brought to the Raptor Center after she was seen fighting with two younger Eagles last Friday. Jackie is not banded, so wildlife officials cannot idea her with certainty, but she has not been seen on the live stream for several days. For NPR News, I'm Madison Alman and San Bernardino.
