And Paris Emily Fangmin, while says there's a lot of uncertainty in Iran about Iran's next moves. I've seen it increasingly a sign of a split in Iran between hardliners and moderates there. Whether diplomacy or war is the preferred approach to the U.S. and for example just this
weekend, Iran's government accused its own state broadcaster of censoring Iran's president. So there's a lot of uncertainty in the United Kingdom, Germany and France with drew their diplomats from Tehran this week as a precaution.
And here in Israel, where I am, governments locally are opening up public shelters once again
in anticipation of possible bombing from Iran. Let's NPR's Emily Fang reporting, evacuation numbers continue to grow across southwestern Europe as wildfire scorch thousands of acres across the region. NPR's Shandali Stuster has more.

burn according to officials. A fire near the popular tourist destination of Bordeaux was not contained as of Saturday night. The French government says it is trying to contain the fires with over 1,000 firefighters, military personnel and security forces. The fires have also affected the tour to France.
Organizers say the route for the racist final stage was shortened because security and police for the event were reassigned to assist with the fires. In Spain, at least one person has died from the fires according to local officials. At least 60,000 people have been evacuated, including from the Madrid area. The Shandali Stuster NPR news.
The Trump administration is set to end the temporary legal status of hundreds of thousands of Haitians living in the US, and that could happen as soon as Monday. That could mean deportation for them.

now full of violence. Last month, the Supreme Court allowed the administration to end temporary protected status for 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Serians. TPS has allowed them to live and work in the US because of dangerous conditions in their countries.
The US is ending TPS for Haitians despite acknowledging the dangers. Much of Haiti is controlled by armed gangs. Josiane Valsant got TPS in 2010. Her 10 and 12-year-olds were born in San Diego and sing in the church choir. And it's been full to say that it's our country, but we can go back.

The demonstrations have grown into wider protests against the government and have led to the formation of a new party called the Cockroach movement. Watch Recerer from Member Station KQED reports in a demonstration held at an Indian consulate in San Francisco. The protest began with chance against Delhi police and the Indian government.
After leaks of entrance examinations, a cockroach movement grew into a call for government accountability bringing thousands of people to New Delhi. Ruchika Kumar's sign says proud S.F. Aunt of cockroaches, "I can't believe the Chief Justice of India, the kind of people we have that is calling youngsters cockroaches, but I love the JNC, they owned it, they gone with it and they have been such a good time." Brazil's Foreign Ministry says it's denied visas to two US State Department officials who were planning to travel to South America nation next week, according to a report in the Washington Post. The Brazilian government says the officials wanted to cast doubt on the upcoming October elections in Brazil. I'm Dale Willman, NPR News.
