President Trump backed out of threats to unleash another round of heavy strikes on Iran over
the weekend.
“On Wednesday he said the U.S. would be "hitting them very hard" but by Saturday night”
he called the strikes off, and Piersadil Al-Chalchi reports. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, President Trump said Gulf leaders, including Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Selman, convinced him to call off strikes against Iran over the weekend. He said that the "parameters of a deal were reached, but no details were provided, and Iran has not commented on Trump's statement."
Iran's foreign minister said he had conducted a number of calls with mediator Pakistan
and Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Federal prices dropped yesterday after Trump's announcement that he'd hold off on those strikes. He'd deal Al-Chalchi and PR News, Istanbul. Ohio Republican Congressman Max Miller says he's not dropping out of his reelection race following accusations of domestic abuse by his ex-wife who is the daughter of Ohio's U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno.
In a live stream on his official social media, Miller denies the allegations that he physically abused his former spouse and two-year-old daughter. The only court disputes are often emotional, painful, and deeply personal, and unfortunately anyone who has lived through a contested custody case knows it is not uncommon for exaggerated, even entirely baseless allegations of abuse to surface in exactly this setting as leverage.
His ex-father-in-law, Senator Moreno on Sunday, said in a statement that Miller should not
“serve in Congress, adding, quote, "I believe Max Miller needs to seek professional help."”

Police in Twin Falls, Idaho have identified the suspect in Saturday's mass shooting
that left at least three people dead and seven others injured at a fast food restaurant. Boise State Public Radio James Dawson reports. Police say the gunman was 24-year-old Chad Williams, who opened fire at an in-and-out burger at about 230 Saturday afternoon, before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Speaking at a press conference, Twin Falls County Sheriff Jack Johnson praised a local resident and an off-duty state trooper
who shot back at Williams. These people are true heroes in our community and their actions diverted the shooter and no doubt saved many lives. In and out issued a statement, confirming one of the dead worked at the restaurant. Identities of the victims have not been released. of a ten-numbered expedition that was buried in an avalanche on broad peaks since Friday. Rescueers had initially found only four bodies unrecovered just three because of extreme winter weather.
