As midterm elections approach, some swing voters might not be quick to reject socialist
political candidates, and PRs Ashley Lopez observed two online focus groups of Nevada voters, where most said they would not think negatively of a candidate that is labeled socialist. The focus groups were made up of 12 voters with mixed political affiliations, who supported Joe Biden in 2020, and then president Trump in 2024, 10 of those voters who participated under the condition their last name would not be used, said they would not automatically
dismiss a candidate who was labeled a socialist. Melody was one of them.
“"I mean, I think that there are at least looking at ways to make sure that everybody”
has taken care of." According to the Pew Research Center, a third of Democrats view Democratic socialist candidates positively, and a plurality of all Americans say they neither like nor dislike Democratic socialist. Ashley Lopez and PR News.
"The White House is charging that more than 40 countries have been helping importers evade tariffs. It's now voting to crack down on mostly Chinese-made goods. It says are being falsely labeled as coming from another country. And PR's Emily Feng has more."
White House trade adviser Peter Navarra says the potential trade fraud could amount to

Although its website says it offers legal support to help prosecute offenders, now on their discontract, they are supposed to represent thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children, which has been a legal requirement for decades over fears that this kids can be exploited, but this contract with our rescue is racing eyebrows." There are estimated 24,000 children in the U.S. classified as unaccompanied minors, meaning

A federal judge in Boston has dismissed a Trump administration lawsuit against Harvard University, which claimed that the university did not do enough to protect students there from anti-Semitism.
Last March, the administration charged that amid the war and Gaza Harvard had turned a "blind eye" to anti-Semitism and discrimination against Jews and Israelis. Today Judge Richard Stearns declared the claims of anti-Semitism in the lawsuit were isolated and devoid of factual allegations. Some users of the gaming video platform known as Twitch are criticizing plants by the company
to use creator's video and audio content to train the parent company's AI models. MPR's Chloe Veltman reports that Twitch says, "Users can opt out if they so choose." In the deluge of comments that a company to video Q&A session held on the Twitch platform on Wednesday morning, many creators complained about having to opt out of having their videos used to train Amazon AI.
Chief product officer Mike Minton explained the decision. "If it was opt-in, nobody would opt-in. That's honestly the answer."
Which distributes more than 2 million hours of audio and video content daily, valuable data
