Live from NPR News, I'm Child Snyder, Democrat David Jolly is heading into No...

elections as the party's nominee for Florida Governor.

This new majority in American politics understands something very important tonight that

we are celebrating more than just a primary victory. We are celebrating the return of a resiliency. The renewal of a hope, the belief in each other once again, the belief in something better. Jolly is speaking to supporters last night, he will face Congressman Byron Donalds, a Republican nominee for Governor.

In Florida's Democratic primary for a U.S. Senate seat, progressive state lawmaker Angie Nixon's court and upset victory, and will face Republican Senator Ashley Moody this fall. Moody was appointed to the seat once held by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and in Alaska voters advanced Democrat Mary Peltola and incumbent Republican Senator Dan Sullivan in

a contest at Democrat CSK to their chances of winning control of the Senate in the mid-term

elections. President Trump insisted Tuesday that the state of her moves is open to shipping, contradicting Iran, which says it remains shut down. However, Iran is said to be close to a deal with a man, President Trump threatened a bomb-o-man this week in Piers, I have been traveling.

The Israeli military has been carrying out near daily strikes and demolitions according to Lebanese state media, including of homes in a depopulated area at occupied. The continuing destruction despite the U.S. brokerate ceasefire has been a point of contention for the Lebanese delegation and rounds of talks with Israel aimed at securing an Israeli

withdrawal from southern Lebanon. Joy of the Sculler and Birnuss, Beirut. President Trump has announced a three-day pause on the 50% tariffs on Canadian imports that had been set to take effect today in a statement. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said substantial progress has been made, but there's still

where it worked to be done. This is in PR. In California, opening statements began in a landmark federal trial involving the parent company of Facebook and Instagram. The social media giant met up faces more than two dozen state lawsuits as Travis

Rayburn of Member Station KaLW reports. A coalition of 29 states is seeking his highest $1.4 trillion in penalties for meta. They alleged the company lied about addictive design features, data gathering, and the risks of social media to miners mental health. Meta says the claims are unsubstantiated and their financial demands are vastly disproportionate.

Parents who lost children to suicide gathered outside the federal court house in Oakland before the trial started. Lori Shot was one of them. She was holding a picture of her daughter, Analy, who died by suicide in 2020. "We as parents had no idea what we were parenting against.

She left journals about the impacts of social media and how it made her feel." The trial is scheduled to last six weeks. Travis Rayburn and PR news, San Francisco. Patterson was convicted of poisoning four of her strange husband's relatives during a lunch of beef-wellington pastries, laced with death-cap mushrooms. She was convicted on three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. I had the opening bell on Wall Street to major European stock markets are flat after sharp losses in Asia."

"I'm Joel Snyder, this is in PR news."
