President Trump travels to South Carolina today for a rally in support of Darlene Graham,
as Enfior's tamer key reports.
“She is the sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, and is now running for his seat”
in the Senate. With a rally in Murdoch Beach, Trump is trying to boost support for Darlene Graham among his base in the deep red state. For her brother's sudden and unexpected death, Trump encouraged Graham to run for the Senate, and was quick to endorse her.
But that endorsement didn't clear the field. She faces Republican congressman Ralph Norman in the run-off. It's another test of the power of the president's endorsements. Earlier this week, three of the candidates he endorsed lost their primaries. A White House official tells NPR this is just one of many events in the coming months,

The Trump administration says dismantling his ballads essential for achieving a credible
path forward in Lebanon. The U.S. describes the group as an Iranian proxy that has dragged that country into two wars with Israel. NPR's Michelle Kellerman reports. State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigut says the Iranian regime has used as ballads
“to spread terror throughout the Middle East. That's why the U.S. is renewing its designation”
of the Lebanese group as an Iranian proxy. The Treasury Department is also adding 10 individuals to a sanctions list, accusing them of helping to transfer cash between Iran and his beloved. The State Department says couriers transfer cash on commercial flights and U.S. officials
are working with Turkey to disrupt that.
