Dwight House has yet to provide specific details or timing of the arrangement, but it comes as U.S. drivers grapple with surging gas prices tied to the ongoing war in Iran. Earlier this month, the Department of Energy reported that stocks of crude oil in the
“U.S. strategic petroleum reserve have fallen to its lowest level since 1982.”
Trump claims the deal will bring down gas prices substantially. Franco, Ordonias, and P.R. News. Tennessee is governor wants to name Nashville's airport, Dolly Park, and International. There's been a growing campaign to rename the facility for the singer's songwriter who died this week from cancer at the age of 80.

Surging Nashville's airport to Dolly Park International, technically goes against airport policy, which only allows a rededication to someone who's made contributions to the airport or the field of aviation. But the airport is pushing forward with the change anyway.
It's expected to cost around $10 million to make it official.
The push to rename Nashville's airport after Dolly Park isn't new. Democrats offered it as an alternative to a measure that would have named the airport after Donald Trump.

The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo says the Ebola outbreak there has spread to two new health zones in the eastern part of that country. U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia heard arguments from attorneys for the people of La Hunsa for preservation and a West Texas outdoor recreation business. The plaintiffs say the federal government lacks authority to build border infrastructure in a national park and that construction threatens archeological and religious sites. The federal government is arguing that Congress gave CBP the authority to build.

It's my hope that as we move on in the course of the next few weeks, we can continue to put protections in place that keep this damn wall out of their backyard. The parties agreed to meet before September 15 to get a clearer picture of construction in the area.
