The Department of the Interior says there's been no political pressure and no final decision has been made on handing over a piece of land in your 70-national park to a private developer. A land exchange with property somewhere else in California would allow King's Barn Realty Capital to build a shortcut from a plot-it-ones to Yosemite's main attractions.
The news was first reported by the publication notice, and PR has not independently confirmed
the reporting. An exchange like this has been under debate since the early 2000s when the former landowner lost the same battle in court. Retired Yosemite's superintendent Don Newbocker called this latest attempt, quote, "radiculous."
“When you do land exchange, you have to demonstrate in the best or interest of the government.”

It's the latest tit-for-tat in what's becoming a bitter trade war, fan by insults from Trump and mainly from Ontario Premier Doug Ford. Carney also provided some history posting on social media that the name Lake Ontario comes from the indigenous wind at nation-word "Ontary EO," which translated means "the lake is beautiful, the lake is big."
The consensus among Canadians is that Trump can do what he wants as far as the U.S. is able to, but cannot dictate what Canadians call Lake Ontario, or even with the international community or other countries call it.
