In a social media post-president Trump says oil from a new deal with Venezuela will be
“used to fill the U.S. strategic petroleum reserve, but as NPR's Emily Fang reports significant”
challenges remain for the project. "The deal announced Friday with Venezuela would allow the U.S. government to take a stake
in a private company that would then develop a project producing about 65 billion barrels
of oil. But much of the oil in Venezuela remains in the ground and it will take years to develop the infrastructure to pump and refine that oil. Because of decades of under-investment and poor management, Venezuela is not a major oil producer despite sitting on massive energy resources.
And American energy companies have been reluctant to invest. The deal, as announced, also runs contrary to Venezuela's constitution, which bars the country's oil from being owned by other countries or sold. Emily Fang and Pyrenees, Washington. "A significant flash flood event near Bright Angel Canyon has destroyed several structures and damaged other infrastructure and utilities. At least 62 people have been evacuated to the South Rim by the Arizona Department of Public
Safety and National Park Service, according to a release by NPS. Nearly all foot bridges crossing Bright Angel Creek were destroyed by the flooding and most trails are closed. NPS says additional thunderstorms and flooding are possible through Monday. There is no estimated time for reopening, and additional closures may be necessary.

They were located on an island in the Strait of Formus, officials say the revolutionary
guard was preparing to launch rockets that are carrying sea mines. The U.S. announced recently, the Navy had cleared the Strait of Formus of those sea mines. Later in the day Iran said it retaliated by launching missiles at two U.S. bases in Jordan. This is NPR News. NASA's newest space telescope was launched into space on Sunday.
The $4 billion Roman space telescope is designed to find planets around other stars and to explore what's called the hidden universe. One will take three months to reach its destination. The telescope is named after NASA's first chief astronomer, Nancy Grace Roman. Dallypartn lived in work to Nashville and was often seen by residents around the city.
Have memorials around Nashville many fans had a story about when they met her. Justin Barney, from member station WPLN, listened in as one man recalled her character. Years ago, Tom Occupinty was working at a publishing studio, an accidently opened a door right into Dallypartn. She laughed it off, and then waited patiently as he struggled from the office to the car
looking for a pen and paper to get her autograph. Decades later, he saw her again at a chiropractor's office, and she joked that she was there because he'd hit her with the door long ago. Occupinty was at the memorial outside of her studio in South Nashville last week. It was like we were friends.
“She had this innate ability just to make you feel like you were the most important person”
