Thousands of people are still missing including Americans after last week's catastrophic flooding

Authorities in Nepal say they are searching for more than 2,000 people from various countries. Four days after flooding along the Nepal to Betborder. U.S. State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigut told ABC News on Sunday, 85 Americans are still on account for, and nine have been evacuated. He also said they were not aware of American deaths.
The State Department, Pigut said, is sending aid to assistant recovery efforts.
We have activated from the State Department $3.6 million in emergency humanitarian assistance.
That includes up to three months of emergency food for up to 10,000 flood affected households. The U.S. Embassy in Nepal has warned that heavy rain through Tuesday could lead to more flooding in the region. Natalie's duster and PR news. Dozens of people were evacuated from the Grand Canyon Saturday after a flash flooding there
led to dangerous conditions. It was a dramatic moment for Scott Svetten and his wife, Eric Viola. They were camping at bright angel campground at the bottom of the canyon when Svetten said
“a park ranger yelled at them to head for higher ground.”
We were running down to use running up and we go, should we stop at our camp and grab our belongings? He goes, "No, get out of here."
His wife, Eric, has said she was worried when the water is kept rising.
The running as hard as I could, but you can't get too far in need to eat mud and water and debris everywhere. Yeah, there was a moment there where I didn't think I was going to be able to make it in time. Park officials say they were no reported injuries, but about 15 people remain missing.
Starting Monday, tourists will not be able to stay overnight at lodges and hotels that are within the park boundary. Democrats and Congress are preparing for potential actions by the Trump administration to disrupt or deny the midterm election process because they are the minority party in both chambers.

And as NPR's Chloe Velp and reports, the videos could be politically disruptive. Many of the videos feature fake Jimmy Kimmel's criticizing or making fun of President Trump. Trump was seen repeatedly closing his eyes and nodding off. Some of them rack up hundreds of thousands of views and illicit comments that suggest at least some people think the content is real.
Jed Rosenzweig of late nighted.com says with Trump repeatedly calling for Kimmel to be fired, these videos could strengthen the President's resolve at a time when the FCC and ABC are an illegal battle over free speech rights. ABC are being scrutinized on a nightly basis for what Jimmy Kimmel is saying. ABC did not respond to a request for comment.
