The flash flooding in Bright Angel Creek tore through Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon destroying bridges and other infrastructure. More than 60 hikers and others were later evacuated by helicopter. It's common for the Grand Canyon to receive intense rainfall

“President Trump says nine more pharmaceutical companies have made agreements with his”
administration to lower drug prices. NPR is Sydney Luckin. The president says the nine new companies include Sun Farmer, which makes generic drugs and CSL, which makes therapies for
people with rare diseases. "Under the Trump administration for the first time ever, drug
prices are coming down and they are coming down very dramatically." But at least one of the companies announced today, Teva Pharmaceuticals, told investors it's still working on a deal. These agreements typically include selling some drugs on Trump RX at a discount, lower prices for Medicaid, and a commitment to build manufacturing infrastructure in the U.S. In exchange the drug companies get a reprieve from certain tariffs. However, the text of the agreements

When the artificial intelligence company OpenAI launched ads in ChatGPT earlier this year, it's competitor anthropic took a humorous jab at the idea in Super Bowl TV ads. But now, OpenAI add revenue has soared, and Phearn's John Rwish reports. OpenAI says in less than 200 days since it launched ads, they've reached what the company
calls an annualized revenue run rate of $1 billion. That means that the current rate of ad sales, OpenAI would pull in $1 billion a year. It's not a massive number relative to the tens of billions of dollars. The company spends each year to develop AI, but it's fast growing. In March, the company said it was generating ad revenue at a rate that would
have brought in $100 million a year. Ads have been a critical source of revenue across
the tech sector, and OpenAI once resisted the idea. Now it's part of what it calls its diversified business model. And it says it's expanding into India, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. John Rwish and PR News The first degree murder case surrounding the killing of rapper Tupac Shakur has gone to the jury, prosecutors are charging during Davis with orchestrating the fatal drive by shooting
in 1996. They say his own words over the years put him in the car when fatal shots were fired. The defendants lawyers say there's no physical evidence placing Davis in Las Vegas the night of the murder. In Plymouth, Massachusetts, jurors in the Lindsey Clancy trial have gone home for the day without a verdict. They'll resume tomorrow. Clancy's lawyers are arguing she was experiencing postpartum psychosis when she killed her three children and tried to kill
