The country's prime minister says two other people were discovered alive. They were in a tunnel in a hydro power project. Two efforts are increasingly focused on those hydro facilities where an estimated 900 people are missing and several hundred are feared trap. At least 1,300 died in the August 29 flood that was likely caused by a melting glacier
that collapsed. The U.S. ambassador to Israel says he will continue to dance what he calls "ex-of-terrorism against Palestinians" by settlers in the occupied West Bank. However, he says the U.S. is limited in its power to curb the escalating violence which is spiked dramatically in the last year.

Ambassador Mike Hockabey referred to the settlers as "terrorists" during a visit Saturday
to the Palestinian town of Turmus Aya.

80% of the residents here are U.S. citizens. Hockabey, a Baptist minister, has made several visits to the West Bank, which he refers to by its biblical name, Judea and Samaria. He's a long time supporter of Israel's settler movement and says those carrying out the violence are "very tiny minority".
When asked by residents what the U.S. will do to stop the violence against American citizens Hockabey said, "You as jurisdiction is limited. For NPR news, I'm almost there in Turmus Aya." American farmers along the U.S.
Canada border say they're preparing for even higher fertilizer prices as a trade dispute
between the two nations' worsens. NPR's curge-ziggler reports that the retaliatory tariffs, as high as 50% on Canadian imports, are scheduled to take effect Tuesday.

neighbor in his home state of Montana's biggest export market. He's just finished harvest and bought new headers for his combines that are made in Canada for similarly harsh farming environments. I just got quoted a price for a used one that had maybe one or two years worth of use on it, and it was exactly the same price as what I paid for a brand new one three years ago.

resume if Washington were serious. This is NPR. U.S. military forces hit three Iranian oil tankers today. This after the Navy says its warships were targeted by a running in missiles. No American personnel were hit.
The military says two Iranian ships were permanently disabled and one was destroyed. Leaders of the Pacific Islands forum issued a statement expressing concern about July's launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile over the Pacific. The leaders said the missile traveled over several member states without adequate notice. Dana Williams of KPR-G on Guam reports.
The leaders did not name China directly when referring to the July ICBM test. Forum chair, Palau president and sarango whips junior, redestatement calling for all nations that conduct ICBM tests to provide 24 hours notice the international standard. When asked about criticism from China, that Palau was sensationalizing the test, we've said the message from foreign leaders was just stating the facts.
The test happened at the Pacific Islands, worded form, the ones that were informed were informed late. Whips noted that the Republic of Nauru dissented from the statement.
