A cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport as it overranned the runway number 30.
“It came to rest at a field adjacent to the airport.”
At this time we can confirm that we have at least five to six individuals and we have multiple individuals that were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries. Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero Stutz says the plane smashed into cars before it
came to a stop, flights were paused at the busy airport as first responders put out
a fire caused by the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration says the prime airplane was heading to Florida from San Juan Puerto Rico. Michigan Democrats are trying to unify after a divisive primary so they can hold on to a must-win Senate seat, but healing those fractures is proving complicated as NPR's Sam Green
glass reports. Adulal said has energized the left, as he advised to replace retiring Democratic Senator Gary Peters. I'll say it won the primary in August by roughly a percentage point, but with two months before election day some parts of the Democratic coalition are still uneasy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial resumed today after a two-month summer recess, Netanyahu was not required to be in court. The trial is dragged on for nearly seven years, and it's unclear whether it will conclude
before national elections are held at the end of October. Netanyahu has locked in a tight re-election campaign, NPR's KaryCon has our reports. Netanyahu was last in court in June, and has long denied any wrongdoing. He's testified in three cases he's standing trial for. One case alleges he and his family received luxury gifts for political favors.
The other two deal with corruption and breach of trust accusations charging he used as office to secure favorable media coverage from Israeli outlets.
He first took the witness stand back in December of 2024, but has repeatedly asked for delays
“due to his political duties as well as health and security concerns.”
Critics worry if the trial is not wrapped up before elections October 27, Netanyahu wins he could replace the current attorney general, as members of his coalition government have repeatedly threatened. KaryCon and PR news tell a leave. The right-wing alternative for Germany party is one original election there this weekend,
but it fell short of winning a majority. The party was hoping it would be able to form the country's first far-right state government since World War II. You're listening to NPR news. Tesla has launched its first fleet of driverless taxis that have no steering wheels or pedals.
The car went live on the streets of Austin, Texas, and as NPR's John Ruach reports, the Department of Transportation has already launched an investigation into those vehicles. The car's are compact, gold-colored, two-door SUVs with distinctive Tesla lines and doors that open upward, and they have no way for passengers to take control if need be. The launch announcement on Thursday gave Tesla shares a boost, but they quickly gave
up those gains after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, or NHTSA, announced that it was conducting what's known as an audit query into the service. The investigation will check that the cybercabs meet all federal motor vehicle safety standards, NHTSA Administrator Jonathan Morrison, says in a statement, "The Administration fully supports the safe development and deployment of autonomous vehicles, but needs to ensure that all
laws are followed after Tesla's self-certification." John Ruach and PR news Spider-Man brand new day continues to roll through North American movie theaters that captured first place this weekend for the sixth week in a row. It's only the second film this decade to manage six consecutive weeks in the top spot. The action movie also brought in another $18 million domestic ticket sales worldwide.
It's now made almost $2.5 billion.
The Odyssey remained in second, it brought in another $13 million.
