Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board are in Miami as the investigation
“into the crash of an Amazon cargo plane that killed five people and injured five others”
continues. And here's Jacqueline Diaz has more. Investigators have recovered flight data in the cockpit voice recorder from the crash plane. The broader work by investigators is just getting started.
They are expected to stay on scene for a week. That's according to Jennifer Hammondy, chair of the National Transportation Safety Board. Based on her latest updates, here's some of what we know. The Amazon Prime cargo plane overranned the runway and crashed into an airline cleaning company van that was carrying seven people.
Then hit a car before skating to a stop.

Open AI, the maker of CHATGVT, is developing a new system for disclosing what it calls misalignment incidents when AI models act in ways people don't intend. “website and created a secret message board there, working together for weeks without the”
company knowing it. It says this happened before the so-called hugging phase incident where AI agents from open AI hacked into another company in July, triggering a tsunami of concern about human control over AI. And a statement posted online, open AI acknowledged the incident involving the German website
but did not give details, it said its misalignment disclosure practices need to expand for this, quote, "new phase of model capabilities" and it's working on a framework for when and how to report when AI goes off script.
