club AAA says the average cost of a gallon of diesel is now $5.90. That's well over two bucks more than a year ago. The burden is heavy on farmers. From member station KCEUR, Frank Morris reports. Big farming operations by diesel by the tanker truckload. The people who run those farms tend to support President Donald Trump. But the spike in diesel prices, thanks to Trump's war with Iran, are straining that relationship. "Well, I'm

The Republican National Committee will open its two-day national convention tomorrow in Dallas, and P.R.S. Hammerkeet says the president will be the featured guest. "It's being build as a Trump-apollusa, and that is not my word. The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Joe Grooters, keeps calling it that. President Trump will be the headliner for the two-night convention, both nights. Vice President Vance will speak Wednesday, and there will be
a mix of big-name Republicans, and the regular people telling personal stories about the how the administrations policies have affected them like you see at lots of conventions." And P.R.S. Batrawi says women and children were also heard when Houthi's targeted four regions in southwest Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia said it affirms
the right to defend its sovereignty and safeguard its assets, following Houthi attacks on civilian and economic sites. The Houthi ballistic missile and drone attacks raised the specter of renewed war in Yemen following several years of tenuous truce. The Houthi say they struck a ramco oil sites and economic zone and an air base in southwest Saudi Arabia in response to 121 Saudi airstrikes across Yemen in the past three days, including one that struck a prison Monday,
the Houthi say women and children were killed in that attack. Fighting between Saudi back Yemeni forces and the Houthis has also intensified near the Bebel-Mendip shipping corridor. The British government says it is banning trade with Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. British Foreign Secretary Ed Miloband spoke to the UK Parliament today.
