In Miami, federal investigators say pre-liminary evidence suggests a pilot so the Amazon

Investigators say they plan to interview the two pilots today. Five people on the ground were killed when the plane overshot the runway. Five others were injured. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he's making Latin America a priority visiting Columbia Peru in Ecuador this week.

This is according to Iranian media reports. Iran claimed the sub was equipped with the latest technology and released photos of it being lifted out of the water. On the U.S. side, Captain Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for Central Command, said the underwater drone malfunctioned while, quote, "surveying regional waters in support of ongoing operations."
He described the drone as an older model that neither collected sensitive data nor carried any classified sonar or radar equipment. The U.S. and Iran have maintained dueling blockades of the straight for months and continue to clash periodically. "You're listening to NPR news."
On Kong's first leader after the city was handed from British to Chinese rule has died at the age of 89, then events and reports from Hong Kong. Tong Shi Hua became Hong Kong's first leader when Britain handed the city back to China in 1997. He led Hong Kong through the early years of one country-to-systems which had promised to guarantee
