The report by panel of experts for the United Nations Human Rights Council specifically referenced two strikes, including one on an Iranian school.
“In a statement, White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly says, quote, "The UN Human Rights Council has accomplished nothing for human rights while spouting unserious nonsense for decades.”
The only party in this conflict that has committed war crimes is the Iranian regime," end quote. The report said there are "reasonable grounds" to believe that the U.S. committed war crimes specifically in two strikes, which the report says killed almost 180 people, including children. The U.S. has not taken responsibility for the school strike and has denied the other. The report also accuses Iran of committing crimes against humanity against its own people. President Trump's nominee to lead the U.S. immigration and customs enforcement was former Oklahoma State Trooper Lance Troyer, but now three months after selecting him for the job the White House is withdrawing Troyer's name.

Lance Troyer's nomination came at the moment of change. He was a close ally of the new homeland security secretary Mark Wayne Moline, who has tried to distance himself from controversies preceding him,
“like the aggressive sometimes deadly immigration enforcement operations in Chicago and Minneapolis.”
But Troyer has no experience in immigration enforcement. He does have a law enforcement background. Most recently, he served as a major at the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The White House did not respond to questions about why Troyer's nomination was withdrawn. The last time the Senate confirmed a director for ICE was in 2017 during the Obama administration.
