Somebody tell me that. A shocking public murder. This is one of the most dramatic events that really ever happened in New York City. [music playing]
[music playing] A scream get down, get down, those are shots. [music playing] A tragedy that's now forgotten. End of mystery.

βYou doctor this particular test twice in silence, correct?β
I doctor the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Olesby and Michael Manchini.

[music playing] So first of all, it's writers not here. No, writers gone. So let's talk about him. It's about time.
We've done it. We got rid of all. We wanted the whole time in his been a secret mission of ours to just ride right our way. And then we finally done it. No, we love him. So we miss our little cryer. We like. And you know what can say whatever we want about him because he's not going to listen to. Pod meets world ever zero chance. He listened to an interview. He wasn't even. I could say anything right now. We can say what you want about. What do you want to say about it? Let's talk about this clothes and work out. No, I'm kidding.
I actually, I don't know if you can hear, but once again, as always, I have my sign as issue.
Gosh, I know I actually are in here. I can hear. No, it's just whatever this is. It's been a year. So I have a question for our dear listeners out there because my several doctors have said, I should get the sign. The, the drainow surgery. Right. The rotor rooter of my my skull. You have a deviated septum. Well, part of it is deviated septum, but it's also the, this is going to be so fun. The entry ways to my sinuses are very small, like like freakishly small. Right. So they need to, they want to make your holes bigger.
βExactly. Yes. There's going to be a lot of that's what she says on this episode, but they want to, they want to slide into my holes and make them big.β
Make a bigger. Okay. We got it. So here's what I want to ask our listeners because I need help. Let's say, for instance, I've talked to 15 people that have had this procedure done.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. Five say it didn't do anything for them, but it didn't affect them in any way, shape or form good or bad.
Mm-hmm. And five say it's the worst decision they've ever made and they would never do it again.
They've had to have mop up surgeries to fit. So it's like, I literally have no idea that you talked to one person like, do it.
βChange your life. Another person going, oh my God, it's the worst thing that's ever happened. I wouldn't have, so I have no idea what to do.β
I don't know what to do. So I'm throwing it out there like, I want some person. Some people, someone to tell me what to do because I don't know. What does your, the doctor you've met with? I've met several. Okay. You've met with several. What do they say? Do they also say like, yeah. Sometimes it's great. No. Depends on the doctor. All of them say the same thing and they say it, tongue and cheek jokingly. They all go, well, we love to perform surgery.
So I'd be happy to do it. And I'm like, that's creepy and weird. I know. One of them said, how, how did you get into my house? Okay. Which in hindsight, I probably shouldn't have just gone in.
Yeah, probably should make it a point. Yeah, that wasn't right. But yeah, they're all trying different stuff. So I'm shooting things inside and I'm steroids this time. But then my face has gotten really pluffy from the steroids and the sign says, like, I've been looking on our zooms lately.
And I'm like, I'm running all the time and eating well, why do I look like I have balloon face? And it's because of all the steroids I have to take for this stuff. Oh, my gosh. I don't know if I should just have my head cut off. I don't know what I should do. I don't know what I'm doing.
Is this fun, please? This is, well, let's go back to sliding into holes. It's better. And writer, I have a, I have a doctor friend that I talked to for advice, rather often. His name is Dr. Michael Richmond, and he's great. He is a friend, but also we pay him. Sure. I pay most of my friends. By the way, the check is in the mail. Thank you.
You're welcome. But I'll ask him his opinion because he's a very straight shooter and will mostly tell you. And he may even have somebody then that he would recommend because I really do think.
With varying degrees of like you, you perfectly selected the number 15 and said there's a third a third that says every single thing.
Yeah. It feels to me like it might be a very specific doctor thing.
βLike you need to have somebody who really knows what they're doing because the potential for it to either be useless or bad is high.β
Yeah. So I don't think everyone agrees on whether they say it helped it did nothing or it hurt everyone says it's horribly painful for like a week. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they're like you just want to kill your face for, for at least 10 days after you're. Is that, is that also the same pain people feel after a nose job? Is that what it is? Maybe.
Is that, I don't know. Which is still one of the greatest words ever, rhino plastic. Oh, rhino plastic. I know. I mean, come on. That's awesome.
I know. Jensen hates the word blepharoplasty. He hates the blepharoplasty. Oh, that's the eye. That's your eye. Yeah.
He hates blephar. Upper bleph. It's like moist to him. Anytime I'm like, I need an upper blephar. He's like, oh, God.
Oh, are you going to get a blepharoplasty? No, no, okay. I got a blepharoplasty. I do though. Have one more hooded eye than the other.
This eyelid is a little heavier than this eyelid. Oh, I have that with this. This one, but it's because I've been wearing my fake eye. My eyebrows.
βI think it's been blinking over a contact for so long.β
It's like, it's lower than this. Well, I think, you know, our eyes and our eyebrows are faces are not perfectly symmetrical. Mine is also. Oh, that's why I'm so handsome.
Perfect. Perfect. On my job. I'm like, like, the face. Like, the face.
Like, the face. Your best friend. My best friend. Yeah. But yeah, I don't know.
I think also depending on which side is your dominant side, even on your face or also which side you sleep on. Like, all these things affect how your face wears over the years. Makes sense. Sue's new favorite thing is to just wait around a corner,
wearing her red light mask. So like, I turn the corner, I'm like, God, yikes.
Yes, and loved it when I first got my red light mask.
Speaking of which, do you do you wear the red light mask? I don't. All right, listen, this is again, not an ad. I, I paid, I actually, I didn't pay for my red light mask. My hairdresser, Lori Heeps, and my makeup artist Julie Cuomo,
gifted me a solo wave red light mask. Oh, that's sweet. A couple of a couple of Christmas's ago. And for the very longest time, it just sat in the box.
And I was of the like beauty maintenance type person. I was like, I don't have time for all the things we're supposed to do. Sure. If I drink all my water, if I get all my sleep, if I wear all the masks, if I do the serums,
Where else, where do you have time?
The working out, the eating well, the children. So awful. And so I was like, I don't have time to, you know,
βI think at the time it was like this red light mask was,β
it was a 10 minute timer. It was like, give me a break. Yeah. And then I, then I started seeing it all over the socials. Everybody's red light masking, and everyone's claiming it does great things.
And finally, I said, you know, I'm going to do it.
I get into bed, and I either scroll mindlessly, or I read, or I do something anyway. Why not put that on my face. Shut up mask on at this point. Yeah.
Multi task. So I started wearing my red light mask. And wouldn't you know it. But the little rosacea that I have had my entire adult life on my cheeks. Just went away.
Wow. And I couldn't believe it. I was like waking up in the morning, because I was using it. So I was using it every single night. And I don't even know if you're listening.
And it's what you're supposed to do. One time, right? Yeah.
βAnd I think they actually recommend three to five times a week.β
But you know me.
I don't believe in instructions.
I just do what I want. Correct. And so I did once a day, every night, seven days a week. And within a couple of weeks, I was waking up and going to like put my makeup on in the morning and going, well, my cheeks look great.
Wonder what caused that, just not even putting it back together. But yes, it's it's the red light mask. So I started using it was using it religiously for a long time. Then brought it on tour with me for the dancing with the star's tour. Used it consistently while I was on tour.
And then on my flight home. Apparently the mask broke. Oh, no. I didn't pack it well. And the something about it being in my suitcase.
The connection from the little charging cord into the mask. Lost connection. And it was like intermittent turning on and off turning on and off. And I was like, Oh, no. And I went two weeks without wearing my red light mask.
And all my rosΓ© shaking. And my and my face looked dull. And then there was no question to me. This solar wave red light mask had made a difference in my face. So long story short.
I have since replaced my solar wave mask. My skin is back to glowing. My rosΓ© is gone. And I just like people to know. If you're on the fence about a red light mask.
You really do it. And so, you know, I don't know. They make them from your faces. Do they make them from your faces? Do they make them from your face?
By the way, the one thing. It's so funny that you mentioned that because the one thing. Most people talk about with you is how. How dull how dull your faces. How dull.
I know. Yeah, we guess. I get that's like hashtag dull face. I hear I see that all the time in relation to you. And how you look.
Thank you. Danielle Delphace is what people call you quite a bit. Susan also recommends first of all. If you wear a mask that looks like that and goes red. You should have superpowers that first.
Yeah. Secondly, she also says that hers has a blue light setting. I know. If she has breakouts. Yes.
For acne incredible incredible.
And now, by the way, the red light masks mine is three minutes. They somehow made it just as powerful in three minutes as it does in ten. So, you know, again, I don't follow any rules. Sometimes I wear it for twice. I wear it twice.
If you, well, y'all's going to say, if you, if you put it on your face, but also throw in a bag of microwave popcorn. Can you do two things at once where all of a sudden you just, it starts popping on your face and then.
βYou know, listen, that's what she said again.β
And we're back. We brought him back. We brought him back. She's so cool. Hey, we don't need writer.
Welcome to Von Meets World. I'm Danielle Fischel. And I'm Will for now. I was holding. I was a momentary, momentary silence for, for I'm writer strong.
We both heard it in our minds. And then I knew exactly what you were doing. And I'm Will for Dell. Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade? Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age?
What can we learn from all of the new F1 romance novels suddenly popping up every year? He's still smelled of podium champagne and expensive friction. And how did a 2023 event called Wagged Getting change the paddock forever? That day is just seared into my memory. I'm culture writer and F1 expert Lily Herman.
And these are just a few of the questions I'm tackling on no grip. A Formula One culture podcast that dives into the under-explored pockets of the sport. In each episode, a different guest tonight will go deeper into the wacky mishaps scandals and sagas, both on the track and far away from it, that have made F1 a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years.

I'm Bailey Taylor and this is iGirl.
You may know me from my iGirl series I've done on the streets of New York over the years. Well, I've got good news. I am bringing those interviews and many more to this podcast. Yes, we will talk about the style and the success. But we are also talking about the pressure, the expectations, and the real work with the women shaping culture right now.
As a woman in the industry, you're always underestimated.
βSo you have to work extra hard and you have to push the narrative in a way that doesn't compromise who you are in your integrity.β
You know, I like to say I was kind of like a silent ninja. Each week, I have unfiltered conversations with female founders, creatives, and leaders to talk about ambition, visibility, and what it really takes to build something meaningful in the public eye. Because being an iGirl isn't about the spotlight, it's about owning it. I think the negatives need to be discussed and they need to be told to people who maybe don't do this every day,
just so they know what's really going on. I feel like pulling the curtain back is important. Listen to IGirl with Bailey Taylor on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
If you're trying to keep up with everything happening on and off the court,
we've got you covered on the podcast, Flagrant and Funny. You look at the top four number one thieves.
βWhat do you think UCLA is going to do right down that for me, my friend?β
Obviously, you kind of see overwhelming favor in this tournament. But I, the honest, I think people are kind of sleeping on Texas experts are suggesting that UCLA is the number one challenger to you con, and that right after that would be Texas. S and C is so deep and so thick and just about everything, I really is annoying. So it's UCLA, Texas, South Carolina, LSU, only once I could possibly upset you con.
On Flagrant and Funny, we're giving our unfiltered takes on the biggest moments, the conversations everyone's having, so whether you're bracket is busted or you just want the latest on the tournament. We got you. Listen to Flagrant and Funny with Carrie, Champion and Jamal Hill on the iHeart Radio app. Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. I'm Lori Siegel, a longtime tech journalist, and consider my new podcast mostly human, your bridge to the future. Anyone can now be an entrepreneur, anyone can build an app, and it's very empowering. Each week, I'll speak to the people building that future, and we're going to break down what all of this innovation actually means for you. What I come to realize is that when people think that they're dating these AI companion, they're actually dating the companies that create this.
We're experiencing one of the greatest tech accelerations in human history, and let's be honest, that can be messy. There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you. But it's my belief that we should all benefit from this moment. Mostly human will show you how. My goal is to give you the playbook, so you can benefit.
βThe reason I say agency is because, like, if you can give power back to people, then I think that's probably the best thing we can do for your mental health.β

Both men are carrying concealed weapons, and in less than 30 minutes, both defend. Both defend, will be dead. And everybody in the chambers of dogs, a shocking public murder. A scream, get down, get down, those are shots, those are shots, get down. A charismatic politician, you know, he just bent the rules all the time.
I still have a weapon. And I could shoot you. And an outsider with a secret. He alleged he was effective flat down. Listen to Worshack, Murder at City Hall, on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Well, the fraternity of actors who have returned to the roles that made them famous decades later is a tight-knit group. Take it from us. Whether it's the Fuller House crew, or Kyle McLaughlin, and Twin Peaks, the night court cast, or even most recently, Frankie Munez is Malcolm.
We all get together once a year for a mixer and talk about how we can truly never escape our past.
Time is a flat circle, everything dies, yada yada yada. It sounds dark, but I promise it's actually pretty fun.
Very good, or derves.
On this year, we're excited to be welcoming a new brother to the club.
βLet's consider this his entry interview.β
Somehow, his first job in Hollywood, cast him in the worldwide phenomenon Baywatch, as Cody Madison, for season 6 through 9.
He'd sport the iconic red shorts alongside Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, and our co-star no matter what she says. He has me in belief. She was there. She was there. I saw her.
I saw her. I shook her hand. It's on tape. Talk about an introduction to the business. And now 30 years later, he's returning to the lifeguard tower for a Baywatch revival.
And the cast is shaping up to be. I know this will come as very surprising. Very good looking. And of all the announcements about the show, the most exciting to us. This week's guest will be back to reprise his character.
Now, older, wiser, and bar-owning, giving out advice to the new recruits and teaching them how to run down a beach in slow motion. And when he's not saving lives on TV, he's doing it for dogs in real life. As part of Wings of Rescue, a nonprofit organization that flies at risk pets from overcrowded shelters and disaster areas to safe havens and new homes,
preventing youth in Asia and encouraging the incredible act of animal adoption.
A great addition to our group of unscapable long-term TV characters, if you ask me. So welcome to Padmeets World. A Baywatch icon on the verge of doing it all over again. It's David Chokici. Hello.
Hi. Hi. Hi, you guys. Doing great. How are you?
I'm doing great. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to hang out with us. While researching, we realized that Baywatch was your very first Hollywood job. Is that true? Yeah.
Big one. I mean, I had done some commercials. A couple of like national, like even though they booked out of like two out of Austin,
βI think we're like, like Miller like commercials.β
And then a couple of commercials here, but nothing, nothing, you know, nothing legit, nothing real.
Like that was the first big thing, yeah.
Are you aware that that's not how it's supposed to happen? Yeah, you're not playing by the rules. That's not how it works. You don't just start adding some emotional to be in my time, though. I mean, I was grinding.
I was like, you know, I was studying. I had a construction job. I'm a guy. They're covered by trade, but, you know, I would work for this guy and then I'd go to class and I'd squeeze in the gym in between and just do it every day and realize, you know,
it's, I wasn't, I wasn't, you know, I got here, like a day and a half, before the Northridge earthquake. Literally, which is shrimp. So I came up here. Well, I already had an agency, like, you know, we had to mail stuff back in a day, like,
my stars with a place called Hero and they had the small theatrical division and a commercial and a print division. And so I had one thing set up. That was the button. And then this acting coach was like,
you know, it was huge hilarious. But yeah, so I get here on Saturday and Monday morning at, like, three, twenty, whatever, I am, it's like boom. And then, you know, I just, I pivoted. I ended up a, a buddy of mine who's a little bit older work for FEMA.
He's like, 'cause there was nothing. Obviously, that entertainment is shut down.
βAnd he's like, yeah, David, do you want to go inspect chimneys in Northridge?β
Since you have a construction background. Here's an iPad. You take me, you get like, oh, I was like 150 bucks a house. You all get to use the wind. Like, you check out the chimney and you say it's, um,
structurally sound needs worker on sound, basically. It's just like, and I like, you know, hello. I'm hearing this right here. It's just chimney FEMA. And they get some money out of it too.
And so I did that for six months. And then the business kind of came back online. And, wow. Just, yeah, just went back at it. Can I, well, now I've done a little research as well.
I'd like to throw out some names of places that were important to me as a child. And I want to hear if any of those places were important to you. Okay. Okay, let's go.
Riches? Yeah. All right. Rosen, Rosen Vickies. Oh, man.
You're from them. Oh, my, so. Are you from women? I, well, my family is from Plymouth. I live in Connecticut, but we had a house in Manimate.
And my aunt, uncle, were teachers in the Plymouth school system. So when I saw that you were from Plymouth, I was like, Okay, we've got, we've got to talk about. Oh, my God. The rich is one for a second.
You have me and I was like, okay. I know that. That was like the worst, but the greatest department store of all time. And then Rosen Vickies comes on. Rosen Vickies up to which started as a pie shop,
which had the greatest Dutch apple crumb pie in the world.
By the way, Danielle, these are places from Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Yeah, I've been gathered, yeah.
βSorry, it's kind of, yeah, it's a Massachusetts thing.β
Yeah, that's a great way to play. That's a great way to start. Isn't that fun? Yeah. So my, my aunt, uncle, were both teachers in the Plymouth school. I saw them this weekend.
And I was back in Connecticut. And I asked, and my aunt says she might have actually remembered you from school. No, I love it. So the Alzheimer's, if you ever had a teacher, a genetic Alzheimer, that was, that's my aunt.
She was in the Plymouth school systems forever, yeah. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm sure I did at some point. Yeah.
I saw that. I was like, he's from Plymouth. And I'm going to talk about Plymouth. I couldn't believe him. He has him, man.
That's the greatest.
It is so hard to get out of, like, to speak, like, yeah.
Even New England in general. Like, all my buddies from into Bates and played football on the cross. And, but not everybody kind of, everybody got together. We all traveled across the country about six of us after that summer. And then everybody's staying at real serious jobs right away.
And I was like, you guys are insane. And you're locked in for life now. Yeah. I was like, you know, there was a moment for sure. My parents were like, what are you doing?
And I was like, you know, I rolled the dice. And I know I've been out here. I've been to LA for the cross trip. And spent time here. And I was like, you know, like, part of my life.
I just want, I want to live there. So like, my parents, like, if you can support yourself. Like, go for it. Like, so I literally like, when I moved after the earthquake, I was living on a guy's floor above, like, the vibramon therapy.
And I moved into this place who brand wood. And this guy, it's like an edge of brand wood. So it's like the, it's called Chai-Sai-Paramets. They were just like, it was a three-company, but downgraded by 10.
You guys renovating the place. And I'm carrying my bags up to this. I mean, it was, yeah, it's pretty, pretty remedial place. And I'm like, hey, man, if you ever need someone who gets swing your hammer, I've been swinging a hammer.
I'm just swinging a hammer. It's like, yeah, whatever. Nice morning. Not somebody door at seven AM. He's like, do you want to go to work?
And I was like, yes. He gave me a belt, like, tool belt. I worked for him. All the way through, like, could let me audition during the day. Go and come back because I would just work.
You know, I grew up with great work ethics through my parents. And then also from, you know, construction crew back east.
βIf you're slow, they're like, ah, what do you mean coffee?β
You're not here to just sat in. And you're like, whoa, like, you cannot, like, like, if they're funny, you're on your phone, see on a New England, like, oh, yeah. They would tear your piece. Yeah.
And with my lamb, they'd be like, get off. So this guy, even after I got there, watch it, jump shit, which I could have. I stayed because he was so cool to me. I stayed with him right up until I really needed to commit and start shooting. So.
Do you remember your audition for Baywatch? Yeah, I mean, I remember walking the initial one because it was, it was beyond memorable. I mean, I walk in. I mean, I remember getting it and I worked on the lava with my coach. It's a chase.
He was a legendary coach of the time. He's passed away since. But, you know, I had prepped it. And then I walked in to casting directors for a big seat. I like a thousand guys.
Like East Coast West Coast. They could end. Cody Madison was written by Deborah Schwartz was the wife of Doug Schwartz. He was one of the original executive producers and creators. And when she wrote the character, she had someone very specific in my kind of physically.
And spiritually, you know, in a certain way, just embody this like mid west slash. It could be East Coast. But just like a very kind of earthy kind of guy, but not like. No, we go like he's just like it. Anyway, I'm walking the room.
It was just to read for them the first audition there had to like this.
They were like, you know, just being deaf. Yeah. I walk in and they're like. Holy. They're like, I'm like, I didn't say it.
I just stood there. I'm like, do like you're the guy. You're the guy. We have been looking for you. You're the guy that she has in mind.
Please tell us you can ask. Please tell us you can ask. Oh, my gosh. You hadn't even started yet. I didn't even start.
First. I didn't say one word. You were like, yeah, you're not doing this right David. The way the way it's working out for you. This is not you're not playing by the rules.
What I've learned. I learned because this, this, this, that's something happened when I got when I just. We had to do a task back when we had to like test from being linked. Which way. And I was up for the role of Jake and Cardi against the Southern guy.
It was more. He was kind of a movie star.
βI'll never forget it because it sounded him and I was final.β
Deal, like, and we're so, you know, that's when you go in the theater. It's all the executives and stadium seating. And your life as you did the one like this or it's going like, kind of like this. Yeah. Yeah.
And it's all on you. And I remember he was so cocky. He was a journalist thing.
I'm like, study or do a breath work.
And like get like training the zone.
I go in. Crush it. He goes in. I got to find out from that show. And after it's like, he fumbled his way through a basin. You can, like, couldn't get the words out. They had me come back in.
The guy came out with him. You know, it's going back in. And I got it. And I also happen to look a lot like the comic book character. Sounds like.
Do you know, Jake McCarthy and the comic book. It's a, which way is a finished comic book. Very similar kind of. So that was part of it.
βBut I think that the arrogance is, yeah, I'll never forget that moment.β
Like it was kind of this surreal as the moment when I walked in and see Farms who's the casting director for Baywatch. Because it was just one of the things like, Oh, my God. I wish it just like strangling you do. Like you're so like just like the arrogance.
And then he goes in like totally the dive bombs. And I go in and crush it. Yeah. You're reminded like, yeah. That's why I do this.
Yeah. Exactly. There's a payoff for being dedicated to my craft. Exactly. It's seriously not like have ego about it.
Like, yeah. That was astonishing. But yeah.
So that was my first of many female traditions.
And then we had to swim to ask because they've been burned by an actor. Us who they found out after they cast her. And she ran up to the, like, they're like, okay, she went to shoot a rest of you. The shooting a rest of you. She runs the water's edge.
And she stops. And they're like, what's going on?
βShe's like, oh, I'm not swimming out there.β
Wait, what are you talking about? I'm afraid of sharks. I'm not going to go in the ocean. They were like, what are you talking about? It's Baywatch.
I'm doing the afraid of sharks. I'm swimming the ocean. And they're like, Oh, my God. So they have to get like a stunt double. So she runs the water's edge.
stunt double. That's the rescue. Plus the person in hiding their face, hiding their face. She doesn't, like, that has to go on until they release that actors. Oh, man.
And then they made people do it. Yeah. That's right. Because I grew up on a swim team. And I had all these ocean skills.
Like, my mom was a sailor from the cave from she grew up in the sea. I don't know. Yeah. Oh, okay. Sure.
Yeah. So she ran a sailing right there. And then as young kids, we started sailbo racing. And then I went on to, like, teach sailing. And then I said, I sort of, I actually worked at a junior Olympics at Winsurf Racing.
Like, trying to go racing. Like, booey racing. She's. Um, but I had all these, all these skills. I brought to the table.
And um, it was heavily, they gave it to me on a swim team. Because I was portraying an Olympic swimmer. You know, like Cody was trying to go to the Olympics. And it's like, you can't jump in the pool. You know, actors speak big and learn everything in like three weeks.
And it's just, it's not that way. You know, it's like driving boats six years of it. We're seeing with wave runners. Like, in terms of getting kind of precision with them. Like, we would have to drive them off because spin them and stall.
I'm right in front of the cameras that are on sticks in the water. So they proved part of the crews in the water. And they're like, don't hit us dude. Don't worry about me. We're about to tell you. Right.
And I would never, you know, they wouldn't let anybody else in myself.
And like, Mike Newman can pretty much do those precision. Either wave runner or, um, low rescue with a big yellow scare back to coming close to better spear. Yeah.
βNow, were you a Baywatch fan before you audition for the show?β
No, the funniest thing is so I ran this part to in my buddies out here. I'm just, um, so I went to Bayesian College in Maine. It's a vision three football, but I missed football to this day. I dream about it. And we're seeing balls never snapped.
It's my, we're a terrible team. But we had a great defense. And we just love, I played strong safety. We looked at knocked it out and like hit as hard as we could. Um, and I remember like Baywatch was on.
And it'd be Saturday night. And we're going to the slope of our main. Like, that was our ritual. And my buddy would be like, so we walked by. He's got an archie bunker chair.
And he's like watching like, I'm like, like, like, well, hey, we can't do what we're going. He's like, no way. Do Baywatch is on. Like, hey, Amy, you're going to watch this stupid show. I don't even know if I knew like what it was back then.
But I was like, why would you sit in like watch TV? Like, have you seen this show? I was like, I'll see you later. And then you fast forward. And he's like, remember what you got to show.
And then he's like, you're making all the families, like, all my buddies for doing. And they're like, what happened? Yeah. How is this happening? Yeah.
It's also the most California show you could possibly ever get off.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
You know, like, grew up in the England, and, you know, I'd go, whatever,
because around Boston, the bars and, but, yeah. And people would be like, well, part of something California, you're from. I'm like, I'm from fun to do. [ Laughter ] Come on.
[ Music ] Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade? Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age.

βAs a woman in the industry, you're always underestimated, so you have to work extra hardβ
and you have to push the narrative in a way that doesn't compromise who you are in your integrity. You know, I like to say I was kind of like a silent ninja. Each week, I have unfiltered conversations with female founders, creatives, and leaders to talk about ambition, visibility, and what it really takes to build something meaningful in the public eye. Because being in a girl isn't about the spotlight, it's about owning it.
I think the negatives need to be discussed, and they need to be told to people who maybe don't do this every day, just so they know what's really going on. βI think people are kind of sleeping on Texas.β
Experts are suggesting that UCLA is the number one challenger to you con, and that right after that would be Texas. Essency is so deep and so thick and just about everything, I really is annoying. Could this have happened in City Hall? Somebody tell me that! July 2003, Councilman James E. Davis arrives at New York City Hall with a guest. Both men are carrying concealed weapons. And in less than 30 minutes, both of them will be dead. Everybody in the chambers of dogs, a shocking public murder. A scream, get down, get down, those are shots, those are shots, get down.
A charismatic politician. You know, he just bent the rules all the time. I still have a weapon, and I could shoot you. And an outsider with a secret. He alleged he was effective flat down. That may have been not have been political, that may have been about six.

One sibling wants me to fund their whole lifestyle.

You joined the show in season six, and the phenomenon that was Baywatch is now in full swing.
Was it easy to just step into the cast dynamic? We know that sometimes it can be rather difficult to jump in with an established click. Yeah, you know, they could not have been the everybody was so warm. It was just a pressure I put on myself.
βLike I remember that the first scene, it's like I look at it and I'm like, I remember exactly the counter of a sidewalk.β
Because you're stepping into something that's on the bend together, you know. Hey, and I'm like learning like, what is it like to be in front of a crew of like a hundred and it's your close of, like on and on and on, it marks. Luckily, they were really cool about like they gave you, if you were doing the work, if you were going to your acting coach, if you were picking it up quickly, and then also the fitness sign that I saw really quickly was like the more fit you were, the reaction from the writers, the producers, the fans.
It was like the more episodes they would put them in, because they just want to see fit males and females. So I must have met Bob with that, and then you got.
So with the initially the first after probably three hours, I was like, okay, I see what's going on there.
You know, and then once I got going, it was like, oh my god, I was made to this show like this, this is my real house. You know, it was a fast fall and coming down with play, so yeah, I just loved it. Pamela Anderson was going through a fame that maybe comes around once in a generation, and you were paired with her for an on screen romance.
βWas it unreal to you as well, going from an actor looking to work being paired with the hottest woman in the world at the time?β
You know, it was a little bit surreal, because they actually had come to me. I was like, oh my stats really quickly, I'll pick up the bladder, and they were like, sure that you wouldn't give you the option for a girl from on the show to be on a pant like camera. Yeah, it's me, and I was like, you serious, you let me see. And I guess, and I loved you as me to such a thing. All of us, like, was she was a stereotypical and her own way, but Pam and I had this kind of self-deprecating humor. We had this kind of, she had my, I had some strong finish heritage, my grandma was born in Finland.
She has strong finish, we kind of bonded over some things, and we never took ourselves that seriously or two seriously like,
oh, wow, we're actors and we're on the number of children in the world. Even though she had all that attention, she was so very grounded in that period of time. And we just had a way of making the most set of moments together. And so, of course, I was like, well, I mean, I felt bad, like, yeah, Pam. Yeah, I just heard a number of reasons, but maybe because, you know, we just had this, it was like a kind of a goofiness to most of us that we, and you like,
when we had to do these montages, it comes out, and it's, and you still see, I look back. I'm like, those were awesome, because we were, we were actually like, we just weren't, it was like, nobody else was around us, and there's like, there was no cameras, there was no people, and we're just like, I don't know, they were really cool.
βYeah, we had a great time, and yeah, I shoot, she was, I don't know, I was never like, I think, you know,β
I'm sort of thinking that I grew up in the England, and was unaware of, like, the hype, and I mean, I was obsessed with movies and actors, but I wasn't like, I wasn't intimidated by other, other actors or actresses, it was more, you know, it was just, I kind of felt like I belonged, this is where I belonged kind of thing. So, and yeah, I'm currently at, so, like, a great time. And then she, she, last, like, I proposed to her at the end of season nine, it's cool moment,
and she didn't come back next season. Well, there's her answer. Yeah, I'm cool. I'm cool. So, yeah.
So, you go, you join the cast of, as you said, the number one show in the world. How quickly does your life change? Once you've joined the cast. Well, here's the deal. So, I get the phone call, and, you know, you think you, they go, congratulations, you got a job.
Then they go, by the way, here's the deal.
They're going to get into, it's like, five year deal, like, that's, like, serious regular deal.
βAnd they're going to get into seven out of twenty two with the option you can do more if they like you,β
or the option they could basically kind of drop you if you don't, if you don't.
Wow. I was like, yeah. What? Yeah. Wow.
One way. Yeah. Yeah. So, I was like, oh man. But I didn't, I didn't let that get in my head.
All it did was like, I doubled down. I was like, like, there was nothing stopping me from giving my, like a thousand cent. And I didn't fall into any of the pitfalls. Like, people fall into, like, I just, I just stayed away from them. And I, I worked my, like, they went back to work ethic.
Like, every day, like, you shoot the sun. Everybody thinks it's like, yeah, how you make it, they watch super easy. It's either like freezing cold or just like burning hot. So, like, you go home. Like, you're done at 630.
And like, the last thing you want to do is go work out. And then go work with your coach. But I just redo it. I would do it. And I would be relentless about it.
And it paid off.
βLike, and, you know, I just, and that for a season.β
So, I ended up doing like 19 or 20 out of 22. So, like, that I just kind of like, day one of the main dudes. And much from there. We're work ethic. Yeah.
I mean, 1.1 billion viewers estimated weekly audience.
Yeah. And that was when there was only 5.3 billion on the planet. 1/5 of the 1/5 of the world. Yeah. Watching you in slow motion.
I, and I've been in slow places in, in most remote. I'm like, and we're paying watchpops now. It's just easy. It's like, it's, I don't think there's anything that's penetrated so far out. Like, I mean, we were thinking a lot of the girls on a trip.
Okay. And on the National Geographic folks. And the Ecuadorian guy to the big boat, and say, it's a mini cruise ship kind of thing. But it's a geographic.
And then you get in these little, like, that rubberized motorized boats to go to shore. And they have a red rescue cam. So as they're prepping us and we're gonna like Jack and see them both go to the land. To each island, whatever.
They're like, okay. You know, like, Jack, it's in. This is our red rescue cam. Fall in. We call this Pamela.
We're throw to you. And I was like, wait. Why? So I didn't say anything like two days. And this is like a lot to go.
So the most remote place on the earth. And then the two days later, we're on the beach. And I was like, I thought I told the guides. And they were like, their minds were exploding. They were like, no way.
We are here. Like Pamela was the name of their rescue cam. Like across the board. And this is, it's all like, another that make it. My sentence is beautiful woman.
She's the target for our from Russia. At 4th of July to 4th of July.
And she, I'm always fascinated like these remote places
that they watch kind of went in and really like to help. It just, it gave people hope. It's the craziest thing. Like, so I started talking to her. And she's, I know she was like trying to ask me something.
But she didn't want to ask. She's just like, were you on bail? Well, she found in her and she's a little bit Russian accent. She's married out of kid there. It was like, we're, it was just, it was normal.
Like, and now, I was like, yeah. I played courage. She's like, oh my god. She's like, I'm from Russia. And we watch the show there.
I go, we're part of our show. Like, she goes Siberia. I'm like, well, can you describe? But that means like, what part of Siberia? She's a, imagine a movie where they've shown her depicted
in Siberia. And multiplied that by 10 in terms of remoteness. And that's where I grew up. And we were obsessed and watched by the watch. She's like, it was like our lifeline to the world.
And she said, it's kind of what like got her, gave her the idea to come here. And that she's a super, I mean, she's a very talented photographer. I mean, very successful career. And you know, then the show was able to, you know,
a lot of those countries, it's Eastern New York. It's landlocked and star. And it's an hour of steepism where you can get out of your thoughts. You know, work your own reality. Yeah.
And that was one of the greatest things, you know, amongst others. But they watched the ride and they kind of hit it. So you walk onto a set where no matter how popular you get, you're still only going to be the second David on the call sheet. So I'm curious what was, how much of in control was David Hasselhoff.
βBy the time you got there, I mean, was he kind of called the shots on everything?β
Or was he more of just hands off the shows working well? I'm not going to be involved in every aspect of everything going on. Yeah, that's where this way. And you know, I love it. Yeah, we were like best friends for a long time and we were traveled together.
There's always, and the original series, there's always an A to be storyline,...
And the A storyline is more, you know, it's just more meaty. It's D and it's got a lot more going on.
And he always had the A storyline.
I'm like, man, can't you ever just look at that. But one of us have the A storyline for once. And he's like, you know, you didn't react, he's like, but I can see his mind. He's saying, F no, right, no thanks. Right, that was my deal.
So, but he, you know, we spread it out. He didn't like to be over. He's like, other people kind of shining above him too much. But he was super cool. I mean, he was one of the, like, the hardest thing to do with David,
to keep a straight face because when he's on camera, he's dead serious about his work trying to do right. And then when you're on camera on the single, he's doing everything in this power. And that's you off. And just, he's funny. It's to me.
And like, he's singing. I'm like, dude, come on. Can you, you do the scene on the read with, like, you're standing, bro. Yeah.
But, um, but the cool guy, like I said, we had some really great adventures.
He and I went on, he took me, like, I did another money. We went all the way straight out to the outback. Yeah, really generous. And, um, we're nothing like good memories of that guy. Solid dude.
Except when they came time for sharing the story. Yeah. Exactly. Well, we couldn't be more excited about a return to the beach for the revival of Baywatch. You'll be returning as Cody Madison.
Now, almost 30 years later, did you ever imagine this could happen? Yeah. I mean, I pushed for it for a long time. I would say every six months have written a great boy and one of the original producers. Because my daughter's in the junior lifeguard program here at Zuobich.
And he is one of the instructors for that A kid. So that's the top kids that you've been in the program for a while.
βAnd, um, you know, there's a, remember that period of time when everybody wasβ
putting their shows, like Matt, to a know, and yeah. There's a lot of them kind of went up one or two or more years. And I kept saying, why aren't we doing this? Why aren't we rebooting? And then, so then we, there was a point period.
We got really close. I think it was CBS. And I went with them. Like I was going to be the guy. And it was born in.
And two people from CBS location scouting around Zuobich or Malbo. And then they were, it was either going to be Magnum P.I. or Baywatch. And the Dwayne Johnson, Zach Efron, Baywatch, where we came out. And CBS was like, sorry. Sorry folks, we're not touching that now.
Yeah. You know, that nothing gets those guys. I thought that we were just kind of funny. Just had nothing to do with Baywatching. I probably crushed the brand for a little bit.
Yeah. So that's a way. And then there's just been a giant research. And lately, people watching it internationally, the original city. Like my body is over Australia.
He's like a professional lifeguard back then. And they came here and didn't have a story. He's like, mate, man, if you came here, my, my kids were obsessed with the show. That's what you did. You, you'd be sworn at this moment right now.
So there's been our research. And you know, I drive by the beach. I serve. I'm in the ocean all the time. I'm definitely over years have moments where I'm stuck on some movie.
And it's just like, so like, you know, actually, I like to work. You're not going to get better going to.
βYou have to go ahead and tell us, but you're not going to get better.β
You have to be honest set in front of the camera in order to get better. It's like surfing. Like you only get better when you're actually on the way. If like you have me on the way to learn. And then it's same with acting.
So I try and unless it's like something that's just like really terrible. I didn't usually like, yes, I want to do that. Like, make it happen. Because I like working on my craft. And you look at something you do every time.
I don't think there's ever an end to this game. Like you can create all the great actors.
You basically have the same thing.
And I'm not saying I'm at the level. But I actually do feel like I'm doing them. I'm 58. And I think it's actually a little back. And like, which way does great writing?
I did some really good work. And I didn't even watch some of the episodes that were more. There was a couple dramatic ones. When I did the Carmen or kid one. I thought I left my tower early at the kid one missing.
Hmm. It was good. But I'm just at a point in my life. I don't know unless you're in half. I just feel like I'm in command.
And like, in control of my space. And like, love the process more than ever. It's kind of a honor. And I feel like I can just tap into any emotion. Like, if they're like whatever they want,
I can give them almost a 30 seconds.
βAnd whereas before I just remember, kind of being like,β
Okay, here we go. This is going to be daunting. It's really like now, like, let's go. Like, you know, because when you get to that place where you kind of don't care,
You start really loving.
Yeah. Yeah.
And it's not that you don't care.
βIt's just like you, you remove the pressure off of yourself and realize,β
Okay, we're not. Although we are saving lives in a way. Because, um, it is, I'll tell you this real quick, because everybody, you know, they would say, um, you know,
or I would say this rather about actors in general, like our entertainment or movies. Like, in general, we're not really like, we're not out there on the front lines. We're not over there serving.
We're not in hospital or emergency room saved us. Hands on. But be a watch bag of the day. This is before internet and everything. We would get letters from around me.
But I probably saw it in my time, like, eat letters where I was like, Greg, Bonnie, I'm going to say, come in here in the next office. We're down on Jeff.
Jeff is in Boulevard. And if he's like read this. And I'd read it. I'd be almost crying. Like, he's like,
I'm Italian family. And they're nine year old son, pulled their seven year old son, who was and drowned are used. Like, face down the pool.
But because he had watched Baywatch,
not even understanding anything in the,
the late you know, it was dumb. But just watching like the show over and over and seeing us do CPR, he did CPR and his younger brother
and brought him back to life. And that is no joke. You could ask anyone that story. And legit. And there was a,
I think that in probably eight, my four-year period, where I saw, I think I was like, wow. We kind of are saved by this.
Yeah. You know, but it's more like, the town that kind of, you know, and lifeguarding in general,
I think it's an underrated thing. Justaging my daughter, like her growth in terms of, like she's been afraid of big waves. We get,
I love going out when it's big,
βand having that fear like when it's like,β
okay, it's like, you know, super respectful of the ocean, but I love the challenge. Yeah.
She wouldn't go. And after like being in that program for her, she's that trainer six or seven years. Now she's like,
"Dad, come on. Let's go. There's gonna be bombs. I just fell up for her and get a bomb. I'm like, "Yes, thank you." It's just you know,
it's a great healthy community, lifeguarding in general. And kids don't have options for jobs. I see all the kids. I'm like,
there's not a lot like you. They can't really labor or the two young that were going on. They think, so my,
they always do the beginning of every season,
due to lifeguards. They sit all the kids down and all the parents are behind them. And they go, "Who here thinks you're gonna stay in this?
They call them a roger bread. We're in red heat. You're actually going to pass the tests and you're now an act of lifeguard. Who here thinks you'll stay in this program
all the way through and try out to become a lifeguard as a job whether it's a side job or whatever. And so yeah, I'm like,
my daughter, I'm like this,
βthis is only a couple of things in life.β
This is one you're gonna do. But, and so last year she'd be asked the question and I'm behind her. She never backs me.
She didn't put her hand up, and I was just drooling her with her energy. She's like, she's like, (laughing)
She's like, put her hand up like, okay, (laughing) and now she's really into it.
But it's such a, it's amazing. I mean kids can work at age 16. You can work for the city as a cardiac arrest test.
You can make legitimate money. And then at age 18, you can up take the county test and make it like, there's like around like 80,000 bucks a year
if you took every shift, let's say. And then an extra 10 gram per language that you know, gets added on. So no matter where she goes,
and I think she wants to stay on the west coast for a call, it's like, she could have a job, and it's such a big,
like, I watched the life rounds of role of like, they don't start. She said, yeah,
the role winner on nine, maybe. I'm like, take my watch on it, and then you know,
it's like, and nobody's in the water except the GG kids. So they're like, okay,
they stretch, they go for a swim, they come back, they'll go to water, still nobody's in the,
no no no no, feel for a run, come back, being there lunch, okay,
some people in the water and I'll sit in my chair, but like it's, it's an amazing job. Yeah,
sounds like a good gig. Yeah. Over the last month, we have been introduced to the cast. And it's a very good looking bunch,
and it's a very good show. It's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show.
And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show.
And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show.
And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show.
And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show. And it's a very good show.
It's a very good show.
