You've been doing this for the whole time.

No, I'm not. I'm so happy that I'm so happy.

You're always happy. Yes, exactly. I'm so happy that I'm so happy that I'm so happy.

You're just a part of the studio, a job or a dream, a dream?

Now, it's Red Eye Radio, Gary McNamara, and Eric Hurley, talk about everything from FatherTick's to Social Issues and News of the Day, whether you're up late or you're just starting your day. Welcome to the show from the Relief Factor Studios. This is Red Eye Radio. All across America, we are Red Eye Radio. He is Eric Hurley and I'm Gary McNamara. Thank you for being here. Eric has some morning off.

Yes, so that one plan. Again, this is in Congress. The Committee for Responsible Budget came up with the idea that and it's what you're going to do, the thing you can't do is reduce benefits to people that are currently getting so security. That's not going to fly. So what you do is you reduce benefits for future generations. And everybody go, okay, that's fine, because there is nobody to push back on that.

It's like the federal government borrowing money. You know, we, we get what we want today and put it on future generations.

And then when it comes to giving them fewer benefits, that's what we'll do to future generations.

And that's the solution for Social Security, that way everybody can say on both sides. We have not affected any of the Social Security benefits for anybody that's currently collecting. We're just going to limit the benefits. And then if we don't index them to inflation, well, we're going to save a ton. But you'll be making a lot less 30, 40 years from now.

But we don't care. We won't be around. So that seems to be the, that seems to be the, the one idea that's being thrown about.

And we always figured it would be something like that.

You know, you have, how do you affect fewer people now? Just reduce the benefits in the future. 10, 20, 30 years from now. Nobody's collecting right now on that. So they're not going to be angry about it.

So there you go. I just wanted to give you some of the figures as to what it would actually be last hour. All right. Um, this happened in Pennsylvania was ahead of a committee vote to save women's sports act, which, uh,

uh, in effect called for the eradication of separate sports for boys and girls. This is Senator Lindsey Williams. I'm going to assume a Democrat. You can't see it down there.

But I believe she is a Democrat from Pittsburgh.

Listen to this. And this is where we say where's the compromise. And what do you do with this? It's pure absolute delusion. And I don't have to play her own statement.

I only got to play the first 10 seconds. Here we go. Female bodies are just as strong as as fast and capable as male bodies. Is that true? Is there any basis in truth to that?

And I know I'm ready to know what the answer is from Democrats.

Yes. There are some women that can run faster than some men. Yeah. That's not the point. We're talking about athletes at the same age.

No. It's a complete. I mean, this is a type of delusion. And you know the interesting thing is all the examples we played in the last month. In fact, almost all the examples come from women stating.

And I still that I will say this in my. Almost if you look at it because I actually did get into. And you brought casting in 1978. I got out for a couple of years. But actually you can make the case.

I've been in media for the last half century. I did get out for a few years.

Into industry.

After I got in for a year. But so that would be 78 I got in.

You know, and so we're talking, you know, what 48 years.

But I've been paying attention to politics. This is probably the late 60s of Vietnam War when I was in my even my younger teams. I was paying attention.

I've never seen anything like this.

Because I went through the, you know, the the women's movement and glorious dynam. And everything of the the women's movement. And they just though this is the left just went to hell with it. To hell with it. We're just going to we're going to pretend.

Number one were. We're going to let men decide. Who we should compete against. We're going to allow naked men. To expose their private parts to women in the locker room.

We're going to have. We're going to compete men, you know, men with women. And at the same time that we do this. We're going to tell you that we can't define what a woman is. Tired of partisan noise.

America's more divided than ever. But independent Americans is adding light to contrast all that she independent Americans daily news with Army veteran Paul Rikov. Pressing issues of the day, the leaders who are shaping what America will be in the future. We're going to bring the righteous media five lives.

Independence, integrity, information, inspiration, and impact. Join the movement independent Americans from believe. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. I'm so glad that Rolly Gaines came out and more women athletes have come out against it. But what the hell is going on when it's the women?

Why are so many liberal women in this absolutely? You would think, you know, ten years ago, you twenty years ago, ten years ago, whatever you'd say, what kind of drug are they on? Completely losing any sense of reality. And these are all women, the one woman we played a couple of weeks ago,

a state legislature in Arizona. This is a woman, state legislature. In Pittsburgh, state senator, they get elected to office. And these are things you wouldn't dare say because they sound so delusional and so crazy.

You could never get elected, and they say it with confidence.

Oh, yeah, women and men are the exact same. There's no difference. Why would you be afraid to compete against a man? You're just as strong. Why are you afraid of a naked male in the locker room? This should be natural.

You need to do what the Charlotte Observer said, it's goes back, I don't know what, ten years ago.

We must teach young women to get used to male genitals. This is just like white people getting used to blacks. They're trying to refer, they were trying to refer to the same bigotry. You know, that was going, that this is simply bigotry.

I mean, it's just, it's the most incredible and the women's,

the leftist women's movement just crumbled completely. Remember when Trump first got into office? And they had the women's march? And they all wore the pink hats. And the pink hats are to represent women because we have vaginas.

And the second year, they had a cancel it because of the new feminine feminism out there. No, all women don't have vaginas. Many women have penises. It's like... How do you deal with this?

How do you negotiate? How do you compromise with this absolute insanity? And the most publicized liberals talking about it are women who claim that they care about women.

And that's why they're promoting men in women's locker rooms.

Men competing against women. It's the most misogynist, sexist thing I think I've seen in my entire life.

They promoted, as if it's a new civil rights for women.

Just mind-boggling.

But that was state senator Lindsey Williams.

And all I can say is you're a nutcase. No, I couldn't do it Ben Shapiro did. Remember it was on one of the... I forgot what show he was on when he was arguing with it. Because you can think what you are and you may think it, but you're not a woman.

I don't even debate it. So simply, you're nuts. You're nuts. You may think it. And as we said before,

when you go back to the radical transgender movement to begin with,

the fact is they don't want you to discuss it.

But they won't really have it debate on it. They can't have it debate anymore. They get smoked on it. But the question I would have is what the hell has happened to women in this country? Liberal women.

I did post and this was a media site. I did it on X. I'll see if I can find it because you have the no kings rally coming up. Again, they're all across here. No kings.

And I did post it was basically a psychiatrist.

And a guy laying in a couch and this is a psychiatrist saying it.

Now, do you see the kings now or the kings in this room?

Like your delusional. But everything across the board. We're stupid. I mean, this is really the, what I've gotten out of this week. And we still have one more day left.

is the Democrats are promoting that the the the Democrat leadership were stupid just like you are. We think that if you vote for us, you're an idiot who can't do anything in your life because you're a victim of everything, but so are we. We don't know how to find our burst of typically because either we're idiots. You've got that. You've got the ignorance. What we've never we've never been for high gas leaner electricity prices. What do you talk? Of course you have been. And then this year. And it just it just doesn't end every day and they just keep repeating it over and over and over again as if they keep on doing it. They're going to convince people the same with voter ID.

But wow. Did that get through I got to see if that got through committee. Let me just see. Let me read the entire thing here. These saved women's act passed out of committee seven to four all Republicans voted yes to protect girls every single Democrat voted against it. This is in something words 50 50 on the Democrat side you look in these state legislatures. You look at Congress. It's 99.9% of Democrats are completely and totally delusional. Yes, a man can be a woman if a man wishes to be a woman if a man thinks or a woman. Man is a woman are you crazy?

I'm not saying they don't have those thoughts. But when you get to everything and then we haven't even got to the the mutilating no children should be able to mutilate their own genitals. I mean not only are they delusional to the point you think they're just dropping tons of acid every single day. But they're the biggest purverts in the world saying the children should be able to mutilate their own bodies. How do you deal with these people?

And as I've said, I was hoping and still I'm hoping because I live in a Democrat precinct that a Democrat politician will not get my door.

Because I won't have the debate with anyone. If you want to have the debate, it's like, you're transphobic. No.

I want to understand what you're talking about. They don't care about transgenders and their their medical or mental health. They could give a damn about that. They're just simply pushing this absolutely perverted notion perverted delusional notion.

Someone asked me the other day, why are they doing it?

I can't tell you why they're doing it, but they're doing it and they're nuts.

We are right, I radio brought to you by FPPF fuel power max owner operator Mike Nichols is least to Wayne transports pulling in their dry bulk division today after decades in business for himself. Speaking to overdrive's Todd Dills recently Nichols offered a word of advice to any company driver planning to make the switch to running as an owner operator unless you've got access to family money or otherwise independently wealthy he noted.

As a company driver, you need to be thinking about startup capital and down payment.

And I would just say that you need to treat that like you would fire wood, save what you think you might need and then triple it.

If not quite people it. And you'll be thankful that you did.

You'll be glad you did. That is not just given favorable loan terms with a good down payment. Inevitably with trucking, you'll get hit with a breakdown and huge repair bill or another of those unforeseen events. You'll need that reserve cash to cover it and avoid taking on debt or going out of business.

Here more from overdrive's 2024 trucker of the year contenders at overdrive-online.com/pib.

Mom of ex- Yale swimmers alleges athletic department terrorized women and have escalated men like North Korea. The mother of three former Yale swimmers has come forward with alleged details of her children's experiences at the school to Fox News digital after the Ivy League giants at athletic department saw a pair of unflattering document leaks in recent days. The mother of two former Yale women swimmers and one former men swimmers said she had to witness her daughter and her son before to compete with transgender athletes of the opposite birth sex.

While at Yale her older daughter who went to Yale from 2018 to 2023 competed against Lea Thomas during Thomas's reign of 2021 and 2022. Both in the regular season and in the Ivy League championships, then she had to watch her son who went to Yale from 2020 to 2025 share a team and locker room with a biological female trans swimmer who transitioned from the university women's team to the men's. I would say it felt like North Korea Jones said her children's experience at the time I would say that the athletic department as a whole was a terrible place to be.

The experience of watching her older daughter face Thomas and Yale's handling of those competitions against Thomas caused internal strife and trauma for her family. Their eyes the girls they pulled them into mandatory meetings they intimidated they coerced they threatened and they emotionally blackmailed them. They were told that they were going to be that they would be held accountable for any harm that came to folks in their communities that identified as transgender. They didn't believe the women impacted have even realized what they went through I think it's going to take even more time than what has passed for many of these young women who took.

To look back at this and realize just how coarse and abuse they were during this well we heard it from the Yale swimmers at that time you started hearing it from that time what they went through when the intimidation and the threats to destroy.

They're swimming careers if they didn't go along with that if they said anything negative about it and that's why I believe the whole North Korea thing comes from their mother this thing got to the point of complete insanity.

It's still complete insanity and it's owned 100% by the Democrats they're absolutely insane on this issue.

But the one thing that really gets to me is and I don't understand this because I can't I've never been able to find one liberal woman that's willing to communicate it with me.

I've actually asked them on it but there's just no big deal they just won't talk about it they know it's wrong. And I'm talking about not women in politics the voting women and I think that there's a ton of women in politics that also know it's wrong they don't have the guts to speak out against it.

How did so many women how did women with this whole women's movement that we'...

All right a couple of cases out there one a Supreme Court decision yesterday nine nothing from the Supreme Court and this was all nine justices rejected attempt to expand secondary liability.

You know you've seen some of these lawsuits for example you've seen with gun manufacturers if you produce a gun and somebody kills somebody with it you can be sued because you produce the gun or you produce the bullets whatever that's called secondary liability. This is a case Cox communication versus Sony music and this is where Sony music when after Cox communications basically they're they're internet the internet portion of their company because they knew that they knew that some of their users let me make sure I get it right here.

And issue was whether the cable provider Cox could be held liable for contributory copyright infringement merely based on the fact that it had knowledge that some of its users were pirating music files the first circuit court of appeals that it could which could have expanded liability for internet service providers all nine justices disagreed.

Thomas writes for the court or nearly when Congress intends to impose secondary liability it does so expressly.

But Congress didn't do so in this instance and the force circuits holding conflicted with the courts repeated.

Adminition that the contributory liability cannot rest only on a provider's knowledge of infringement and insufficient action to prevent it the provider of the service. It is only liable for the users infringement only if it intended that that provided service be used for the infringement the intent required for contributory liability can be shown only if the party induced this infringement or provided service that is tailored for that infringement which means if you do something wrong.

On their internet and the internet knows the internet provider knows you're doing something wrong but can't stop it the recourse is to go after the user who is breaking the law.

Not the conduit. Now that goes to another case when L.A. jury finds social media companies lier exhumiliers social companies social media companies liable for a user's depression. And a McCarthy wrote for this a national review. Like anyone who is kids in this day and age I am sympathetic to families that must cope with youth depression and anxiety. But the notion the tech company should be liable for those maladies because the kids and young adults blame their overconsumption of social media apps for their condition is crazy.

Unless it goes with creative plaintiffs lawyers and their favorite jackpot justice jurisdictions a state jury in Los Angeles found meta. The corporate owner of Facebook, Instagram and Threads and YouTube a Google subsidiary owned by alphabet liable for addicting an out 20 year old woman to their content the woman was referred to in the case by initials KGM.

The New York Times reports her first name was Kaylee. She hails from California and claims to a begun using social media at age six. The civil jury found damages of six million.

Now, a number of 0.

People like KGM consume but the plaintiff's lawyers argued and the state court bought a theory that the case was not about the content but about the processes by which platforms present the content and that doesn't matter in the law.

The theory was sufficiently edgy that the jury took over a week to reach a verdict in the trial which had started in February.

But this is going to get blown out of the water to not they're not going to be able to you know hold on to that look if you're looking at social media at six years of age your parents are neglecting you. You know that's neglect from parents and nothing to do with social media there's a lot of things that exist out there you know on the internet but again those are just two cases that a way are different but in a way I think much much similar and we'll see what happens in all those particular cases.

Now I got a couple more audio things to play for you this is woopy yesterday on the view is great here we go ready for this got to get a few audio cuts to get through this hour.

There was you don't have to do it she keeps talking it's like apparently she's a resident of New York and they're telling you you don't need to do that in New York.

It's just pure greatness and let's go to the voice of reason from the Democrats John Federman. Right.

Here we go. Why are we doing this we just don't get it. I mean these are not rich people they make around $50,000 a year that's that's used to be you should be our wheelhouse these are the kind of people that we should be fighting for.

And now we're talking about affordability and now we're denying them to their paychecks and out here and we knew going into it that shut down of DHS would have zero impact on forcing any kinds of changes at ice and that's that's here we are right now. So what isn't that we really get out of it you know all we've done is we've punished TSA and other employees under DHS and made us less safe and creating mass chaos in our air traffic system across America. Yeah, I finally was able to find yesterday and I mentioned it beginning to show but I want to mention it a few times during the show because we had mentioned it at different portions of the show and we know overnight you know we do get different audiences people waking up people going to sleep.

But I did do the research on it none of the bills clawed back anything for funding of ice that existed in the big beautiful bill that money is still all there this would be for future money and the Republicans wanted additional funds for ice.

They might not get that you know that now again that this deal is is done you know Republicans were furious at humor because this is what the Democrats wanted in the beginning.

But again when you show a willingness to compromise Democrats are going to call you on it. But the. But there was no claw back so ice still would have been funded and then the Republicans would then be able to. Fund ice further if they wanted additional funds not in the big beautiful bill they would be able to do that through reconciliation but there's a problem with that that they wanted to use reconciliation down the road for more budget items and so they don't want to do it now where they're going to go on this I don't know.

Trump said he's going to Trump said he's going to put in a national guard.

But what do you do if this thing could keep going on and on and on and on.

You're going to have a ton of people quit who's going to come back from this.

You're going to have to have them quit nobody's getting paid they got to do something else.

And then you've got to bring in new people the hiring process retrain.

But do do all of that it really is a it really is amazing what the Democrats are willing to do I'm not surprised by it.

You know we we knew back in COVID that this current crop of Democrats when they just kept the borders open when they were putting all these rules and regulations on you of how you can live your life and they didn't give a damn about people coming over the border didn't even check them for COVID. It could have carried less we knew at that point it was all BS. You know when when the Democrats talk about the the fact that you know and we go back to the. Josh Hawley. Questioning that Berkeley professor on the radical transgender movement she goes well what you're saying is transphobic.

Now I'm just trying to find out how you think trying to have a discussion here know it's transphobic is why is it transphobic. And she said well because don't you understand that transgenders have the highest rate of attempting to commit suicide. And our point was well then there's a mental problem there. No there's not a mental problem there can't be a mental problem you just said there was if they have extremely high rate of suicide and the highest rate is she was claiming.

Don't know whether that's true or not but that's what she was claiming will then there's a mental issue here.

Because her point was that if we even question it they'll commit suicide. Well then the last thing you should be doing is. And then the first thing you should be doing is you should be doing it. That's just man I'm telling you. And then the second thing you should be doing is you should be doing it.

This place priorities she said after she was made aware of it she took to the house floor the question which public buildings would be particular or be impacted in particular she wanted to know if the states.

I've never heard of such a thing what do you consider appropriate.

What are appropriately sized tampons she asked. Or heard of such a thing what do you consider appropriate. Especially for man does I guess a question would be does size matter for men. Where when I radio and Eric has morning off I'm here and finally to end this hour. Florida's chief law enforcement officer announced Wednesday that he'll warn NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell that the NFL's longstanding.

And the first thing you should be doing is you should be doing it.

The first thing you should be doing is you should be doing it.

And the first thing you should be doing is you should be doing it. The second thing you should be doing is you should be doing it. The second thing you should be doing is you should be doing it.

The second thing you should be doing is you should be doing it.

As applied to Florida the NFL's Rooney rule which governs a hiring of certain team executives and coaches brazenly violates Florida law so to do the NFL's related diversity initiatives.

So why should they hire for positions off the field based on illegal DEI quotas talking about to I think there's what is it if you.

They noted in the letter that the expansions of the Rooney rule now include women as a qualifying minority and criticized provisions awarding third round draft picks to teams that develop minority talent into GM and head coaches.

What they're saying is you can't reward somebody for discriminating.

Interesting. This is Riddai radio on Westwood 1. The Dan Bonchino Show. Damn I missed you all.

I've got so much content bottled of my head.

I got a lot of stuff.

This is the kind of stuff.

It's real. May not hear this anywhere else. Hard truths.

There's a lot of stuff to talk about that.

You think it's going to open a lot of eyes and a lot of ignorators are going to get shut down. And a bold perspective no one else can offer. They are freaking out. It's the comeback everyone's been waiting for. The Dan Bonchino Show.
