“On Red Eye Radio, so I love this video and I think it really does speak to a broader point.”
Go to my ex-feed @DanMandosShow and you are going to see a video and I know that there's a couple of different ways to look at this video, but I'm going to describe to you what is in this video. You've got a guy who is standing at top of a car, getting ready to burn the American flag on the 4th of July. Another guy walks up and grabs the dude trying to burn the American flag, grabs the flag and tries to walk away.
By the way, the guy who is trying to burn the American flag, it's wearing a dress, trans Tifa. They say that this guy that is trying to burn the American flag is in Antifa member and oftentimes people will call them trans Tifa. After the guy walks up, grabs the American flag and grabs the guy trying to burn the American flag because he's trying to grab the American flag back, a fight ensues. The dude
that's trying to rescue the American flag throws another Antifa member down to the ground. The guy is trying to walk away with the American flag. They're by saving the American flag.
Now here's what I don't know. What I don't know is who is right in this case. By the
way, it looks like I'm slowing down this video. It looks like the second person that tries to get the American flag to burn it and Tifa member, also thrown to the ground. Also, it would appear wearing a dress. I guess part of the moral of the story is if you're going to try to burn an American flag on the 4th of July, you better expect some pushback and you better be ready for some combat and not in a dress.
Now why do I like this video? I like this video because I do believe that the fatigue is real. What do I mean by fatigue? Social media is an absolute cesspool of bad behavior. It really is. It is a cesspool of bad behavior. And we the American people are tired. We are fatigued. Watching bad people get away with stupid stuff. Now, before you send your emails or your text messages to 615-737-1996,
that is my local text line. Yes, burning a flag is protected American speech. So this is actually an interesting case study, right? You have one guy who is clearly flag-loving an American loving who rescues this American flag from these two antifa guys wearing dresses and they've got masks on in the whole bit. And one of them after getting thrown to the ground, apparently needs an ambulance while the dude who rescued the flag is walking away. So now the
“question is and the question will become, how do they handle this from a legal standpoint?”
You got a guy here who rescued the American flag through somebody down onto the ground,
Apparently causing them injuries.
the American flag is free speech. Although I'm not sure where arson comes into the whole thing,
“you know what I mean? So maybe you could say, well, the guy protecting the American flag was actually”
trying to prevent arson. Maybe you could say that. Now, of course, it looks like the scene. It's on concrete. It looks like in some sort of, you know, generic American city. I wonder what city this was in. I'm going to, I'm going to see if I can figure out what city this is in. What city was this in? I'd be willing to bet it. It feels like Philadelphia to me. I don't know why but it does.
It feels like Philadelphia to me or a Los Angeles and waiting for rock to let me know.
You can, by the way, see the video on my feet on the X-feet at Dan Man to show. Nope, lower Manhattan. The video from the post shows a nighttime confrontation during what appears to be an anti-ice or similar protest. So yeah, apparently this is perhaps New York City's
“financial district, which is, I believe, lower Manhattan. So anyway, yeah, it'll be interesting”
to see if this guy actually faces any kind of charges. Oh, not, below it. The Jim Rome show podcast. You've been warned. If I would listen on your favorite platform scrolling with Hayland. I am Hayland, I am Hayland Carania. I scrolled with the homies here in the live chat because there was a lot to scroll through on X on Instagram on TikTok, cutting through the clutter. Love seeing you all of the chat before the show. I tried to jump in just a few minutes before to say hello. I love the chat interaction. Thank you for helping. But I do it to get all the videos and all of the content that you won't find anywhere else scrolling with Hayland to search that up. And I will be there. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. I'm not typically a vigilante kind of guy, but that is clearly what the flag saver is.
Is a vigilante. And I've got no problem with it. Because you see when we live in a society where people like this, this whole thing must have been some sort of a trans tifa kind of a rally or whatever because even in the background they got another person looks like a guy again wearing a dress. So they're all over the place. Whatever. Anyway, the fatigue is real. I was talking earlier about these teen takeovers where in the news today, there is a police officer that was being a female
police officer. And she was being beaten by three degenerates, three or four degenerates. She was in a headlock. This cop was in a headlock. And she was on the ground and being beaten. And you see these kinds of videos. And it just it makes you angry because here in America, we have a so-called
justice system where people like this never face justice. And so when the vigilanteism comes
about you're rooting for the person who may very well be breaking the law, which is this guy, throwing the trans tifa member down to the ground and protecting the American flag. He could be charged with assault. But we live in a society today where people rarely do they suffer any kind of consequence. I was talking about the teen takeovers earlier.
“Did you see what happened in Newport Beach, California? Where you had another one of these teen takeovers?”
And they get on the beach and they start, you know, in the community around Newport Beach and they start doing what they do. And the cops will make it a bunch of arrests. And then they'll get in front of these soft on crime. A George Soros funded Democrat judges. And nothing happens. And so I apologize, not really. I apologize for cheering when one of these, you know, attempted flag burners gets thrown to the ground. Too bad so sad. But I just think that we live in a society
Today where the fatigue is real.
get really, really frustrating now. And again, you can see it. My ex feed on the ex Dan show. It's a @ Dan Mandishow. That's where you can find it. I real quick. Let me see here. There's a number of other stories that I wanted to get to in this segment. This was released and I don't really understand why. This was released on the Thursday before the three day July fourth weekend. In other words, you're talking about news management where you'll have, you know, typically it's the government
who will release a story, release details about a story. And they'll release it right before a
“weekend so that they're hoping to essentially bury the story. But how is this for a headline?”
Secret Service agents knew Thomas Crooks had a rifle, you know, the guy that shot President Trump. The Thomas Crooks had a rifle and had made his way on to a rooftop in Butler, Pennsylvania
with a clear shot at Donald Trump and never, never issued a word to the President's own protective
detail. They knew that the President was in the crosshairs of this guy for two minutes and didn't say a word to the protective detail of Donald Trump who were right there. Those details were revealed in a damning new report released on Thursday by the Department of Homeland Security's office of Inspector General. According to the report, the Secret Service missed multiple opportunities to detect, prevent, and disrupt Thomas Crooks' attempt to assassination of Donald Trump
during the July 13th episode in the midst of the 2024 presidential campaign. The report details
“at local law enforcement notified the secret service of a suspicious person on their roof at 609”
PM. Donald Trump was shot at eight times at 6/11 PM. Yeah, Donald Trump was shot at eight times at 6/11 PM. So just think about that. It takes just seconds to get on the communications channel and say shooter on the roof or whatever to get Donald Trump surrounded and off of that stage
and protected. But they never notified the secret service never notified the President's
personal security detail that were again right there. The secret services, the story goes again from the Daily Mail. The secret services overall lack of policy and processes coupled with limited intelligence, sharing, and poor collaboration and communication with protectee staff and state and local law enforcement set the conditions that led to missed opportunities to prevent and detect the attempt to assassination according to the Office of Inspector General, which by the way,
if you don't know the Office of Inspector General, it is like an internal investigation agency. And by the way, don't forget that a man was killed. So not only, you know, I mean, Donald Trump was shot in the ear, but they could have actually saved a man's life. If they had surrounded Donald Trump, if they had protected Donald Trump and gotten him off of the stage, the shooter would have said, nope, can't make the shot and perhaps the shooter would
not have taken those shots, thereby a man would still be alive. But listen to all of this, the lack of a coordinated communications with state and local law
“enforcement would also prove to be deeply damaging. The secret service did not receive”
102 radio transmissions sent by local law enforcement officers in a separate communications room in the run-up to the attempt to assassination. Instead, the report says, "Secret service received only five phone calls and three text messages about a suspicious person who was later
identified to be crooks during that period." They also never received three transmissions
from local law enforcement officers that the suspect in question had a long gone. The limited communication regarding the suspicious person did not create a sense of urgency for secret service members to report this information to President Trump's protective detail according to the report. In other words, there's no sense of urgency.
Do you remember the part of the story where, and by the way, a lot of this is...
because there have been other investigations. But you remember when there are people on the ground
“who saw Thomas Crooks on the roof with a gun and they're screaming at the secret service,”
he's got a gun, he's got a gun. And while I do understand that a member of the secret service was trying to get up onto the roof to stop the guy he ended up falling, nobody thought to notify Donald Trump's actual detail that were just a mere feet from the President and could have surrounded him and gotten off that stage. The other issues, the shooter flew a drone over the rally site for nine minutes undetected. Apparently, the secret service counter-drone system was
not working. It was also being handled by a single, under-trained operator. The equipment was also
not tested before the event. The advanced teams missed a line of sight-vulter abilities that meant that Crooks was able to get on that roof and fire a Donald Trump from that elevated
“position. What's crazy is, you know, we did see that the director of the Secret Service”
did step down, woman named Kimberly Cheeto, but the agents directly involved in all of this. We're not actually fired. They were suspended without pay. But then they were given jobs back and reassigned to restricted or non-operational duties. And again, realize we've seen a lot of this
before there have been reports by the Senate and independent review as well. Many have said the same
things, communications failures, both human and equipment. The advanced teams failed to identify line-of-side issues. The counter-drones failed. They failed to secure the area outside of the security perimeter. There was reporting that the Secret Service at the time did not attend the
“pre-event meetings with local law enforcement. And again, remember that people were alerting”
the law enforcement. There's a guy with a rifle on the roof. That was roughly two minutes as well. So now, maybe that there has been an official Inspector General's report. People will actually lose their jobs. But I got to tell you that this is so incredibly damning to the Secret Service. The phone number 86690-8669073339. Dan Mendes in Fragare, America. This is Red Eye Radio. Owner operators with authority generally have two options when it comes to sourcing freight.
Brokers on the spot market are directly from the source. The shipper. As any trucker with relatively recent experience with spot freight knows, the highs of work in the load boards can be really high. On the other side of that coin, however, when the market flips and favor of shippers, it can be tough to keep your business afloat working with brokers. The smallest carriers with direct customers, however, can hang on through tough times or even prosper. As long as demand for
their customers' product remains at least somewhat stable. Owner operators in it for the long home make direct business with customers a principal goal. Somebody asks, "I was describing this guy who grabbed a flag that was being burned by some antifa members." Somebody said, "Is that the 2025 incident or is that a new one?" As far as I can tell, this happened in the last day or two, the timestamp I grocked it and they said that this was a post that happened in the last
day or so and it is from an incident that also happened in the last day or so. Couple of people and listen, I call balls and strikes. It's what I do. I call balls and strikes. And so, a couple of people agree with me that you may agree with the sentiment that this guy
Saved the American flag and we absolutely love that.
Supreme Court does say that is free speech, that is protected speech. So essentially this guy assault the two people. As so now the guy is, you know, his image was captured in all of the
“different videos because that's what everybody does. We'll see whether or not he ultimately ends”
up facing some kind of a charge, but again it's a shame. Again, love the sentiment, love what he did. Unfortunately, he's put himself at peril. God, I'm more at Trithead. You're listening to Red Eye Radio from the Red Leaf Factory studio. 86690, Red Eye 8669073339, Dan Madison for Gary and Eric and Bernard is calling in from California. Bernard, how are you? Hi, I'm doing well. Go ahead, sir.
Okay, so just I wanted to make two major points. When you guys claim to be beefing with Antifa at this point, don't you realize it's your admitting to being fascist? I don't see what's positive about that. And the second thing is going on the discussion you were having before the break, where you brought up vigilanteism saying the community would like to back somebody who's defending the American flag, which I totally understand, right? But you brought up the teams that attacked
the female cop, right? And they were black teams, you know, they happen to be black teams this time.
And I want to point out that you guys can never see the vigilanteism in the black community,
fighting back against cops that are policing our community in a very abusive way. So when cops get attacked, it's a terrible thing. But you guys never talk about the root of where that anger comes from.
“And I think that's that's unfair. You know, that's a little that's that can be considered”
vigilanteism, people fighting back from abuse. We have all kinds of videos floating around that when viral this week of officers shooting an unarmed black man, many of them. It's not a single incident. It's a culture that they have in policing the black community. So Bernard, let's
try and understand why you guys never make that connection. Well, hold on Bernard, first of all, I'm one guy.
So you keep saying, you guys, I'm one guy. So if you've got a problem with me, talk to me. Don't make these assumptions that I don't know who do you mean by, can I ask you a question, Bernard? Number one, who do you mean by all you guys? Who do you mean by all you guys? I'm talking about, okay, I didn't mean to say you guys. I'm talking about you specifically, because I hear the one who brought up the connection. You brought up vigilanteism and you brought up the
team attacking the female cup. So can you tell me, can you tell me, hey, hey, Bernard, a couple of things. Number one, can you tell me what that female officer did that lone female officer? Can you tell me what she did to deserve getting put into headlock thrown to the ground and beaten by
“three or four other people? Can you, can you tell me what she did to deserve that?”
And one with a youth, she went hands on with a minor. I didn't know it was on with a minor, what she shouldn't have done. If she didn't have the correct back up first of all, she shouldn't have done it. And second of all, can you tell me the reason that she had for putting her hand on that minor? The legal reason? Because police aren't allowed to just touch us. And they, and they know that when they're in your community,
but when they're in the black community, they feel like they can do whatever they want.
And they're the ones who never get a punishment. They're the ones who never see a consequence.
Because you brought that up also. But are you, you say that police never face the consequence for doing what you say, which is, I'm assuming you're going to say they're overpleasing the black community. But I see stories of police officers all the time who are put on suspension or they're fired because of their interactions in the black community. Like I do, I see that all the time. They're doing things that they should be arrested for
and they get fired. If I was to do the thing, if I put my hands on somebody at work, not only am I
Going to get fired, I'm going to get charged.
Police are supposed to be kept to a higher standard. But if they commit crimes and get
lower sentences, then how is that a higher standard? Well, Bernard, if a police officer is trying to prevent someone from committing a crime, then they are doing their job. Like, yeah, that doesn't matter my question. If they're supposed to be set to a higher standard, but when they commit crimes, they're often met off with perhaps on the wrist. There are stories of officers committing pedophilia. And they get fired instead of charged,
“or they get a light sentence. They get 60 days. So, so Bernard, can you do me favor?”
Can you? I'm on our week. So, can you send me? I'm going to give you my email address.
I want you to send me the story, the factual story of a police officer being charged with
pedophilia. And that officer only being fired and not charged criminally for being a pedophile. I want you to send me that link or to be sent in slightly. I'll give you that. Sometimes, there's sentence, but it's a light sentence. No, no, no, okay. I think it's a no problem. Yeah, no, okay. I mean, you got a piece of paper. Like, I'm going to give you my email address. Dan Mandus, M-A-N-D-I-S. Dan [email protected]. I want you to send me that story
of a police officer who was convicted of pedophilia and usage. And you say, not convicted. Okay, or slap on the wrist. I'm going to look it up for you.
Or slap on the wrist. If he was convicted, he was convicted and won't have a jail in 60 days.
Though, I feel like that counts because again, that's not held to a higher standard. Well, you're throwing this, I haven't heard this. I haven't heard the story. But would you say that, but I got what you said. I understand police officers are supposed to be held to a higher standard. I understand that. So, would you say Bernard that police officer has a right to defend his or herself if there are three or four people that are beating set off
of a syrup? Because Bernard, you and you and I both know, Bernard, hold on Bernard. You and I both know that if that police officer pulled out a gun and shot her shot in self-defense, one of these teenagers or young adults that was attacking her, all hell would break loose, right? Sure. Okay, so she not allowed to defend herself. Is she, so Bernard, is she allowed to defend herself? Or is this being held to a higher standard? Is that not being allowed to defend herself
“when I would say her life is in danger? Well, I got you. So, first of all,”
I work street out reach myself and I work with the police and I work overnight. Why does she put herself in that situation? As someone who works in the field and often, I do have to approach groups of PEHs, right? People experiencing homelessness. I don't walk into the middle of the crowd and start shouting demands when they're on private property and I'm asking them to relocate. I don't do that because it's not safe.
So, that adult female should have known strategically that it was not a good idea to put herself in the middle of that crowd of rowdy kids without the proper backup. If nobody was being attacked and she wasn't protecting life at that moment, she shouldn't have put herself in that situation. Now, once she was in that situation, should she have jumped directly to deadly force? No, absolutely not. They were kids.
Should she afford her taser, her baton? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. And in my opinion, I'm getting killed by kids. Then, I mean, yeah, absolutely. She does have the right to pull her firearm and defend herself, possibly shooting one in the ground to watch the kids scatter, which you know they would do, if they heard a gun go off. I mean, so let's be real about the situations in the street.
She should have been smarter. So, Bernard, let me ask you this question. When is a police officer? By the way, there were officers there because they arrived pretty quickly.
“So, I think they were on the scene in the vicinity. And I think that they were trying to”
break up whatever this, this, this teen takeover was. But hey, let's go beyond that. Because you and you and I, Bernard, I mean, you bring up some valid points. But let me ask you this, Bernard.
These teen takeovers.
Sure. I hate them. I get caught behind them a few times. I've been caught behind them a few times.
At intersections where they just take over and we have to sit there. I hate them. So, yeah, okay. So, why, why do they do that? And by the way, I remember, I don't know how old you are, Bernard. I remember when you would have these, these social media fueled gatherings where people would
“get together and literally dance in the shopping malls. I don't know if you remember that Bernard. I do.”
Now, it's taken a really terrible turn. And you've got all of these kids and they get together in one area. They get together to fight, they get together to vandalize, they get together to literally take over streets. They'll, you know, do the, the car burnouts in the middle of the street.
And so forth. And I get frustrated. And I think the, the people of America get frustrated because
we see these things. And nobody ever stops it. And nobody ever faces any real consequences. Okay. So, I don't have all the answers, what I will say about that is their kids and they're doing kids things, right? But it gets dangerous. Kids at that age, like the older teenager age, they're in the cars, they're in the guns, right? The stuff that they see on TV. Some of those kids will grow up and go to the military and all that type of stuff, right? So, what I will say is,
with my experience working with the homeless, sometimes I have to approach people and ask them to relocate, right? But it's hard to ask somebody to relocate when I have nowhere to send them. If I call all the shelters and the shelters are full that night, I don't know where to send that guy that I'm asking to relocate from somebody's private property. So to bring that back to the kids, they want to drag race and have fun and hang out with the girls and just watch them entertainment.
“But we don't have anywhere for them to go. I believe it is to buy to a year ago,”
I saw that one city opened up the track and said, okay, instead of doing the takeover, come to the track. Let me show you how to do it the right way you got him line up the cars and race. Right. Hey, hey, Bernard. Here's the deal though. Is that we're not talking about just people that want to, you know, race cars. You've seen the video, I know that you have because you sound like a really smart guy and I love what you do, which is trying to help homeless folks. So my point is,
this isn't just about race and cars and hanging out with girls. They're vandalizing cars, they're vandalizing buildings. They end up getting into these massive brawls as well. I mean, that is what's happening. This isn't just, you know, American graffiti and driving down the, and driving down the street, you know, trying to pick up chicks or whatever. No, this, this is dangerous stuff. We just had a thing here. I'm in Nashville, Tennessee. We just had one of
these things here. We're somebody got shot and killed because it was one of these, you know, as a much smaller teen takeover, but it was, it was a point where they started fighting and then somebody pulled out a gun and got shot. That's number one. Number two, I want to go back to the copy. So basically what you're saying, Bernard, is that this police officer is at fault because she put herself in a position where she's trying to do her job and, and she put herself in a
position where as she's trying to fight crime and, and do her job, she ends up getting, you know, beaten up and that is, that is her fault. Well, if a police officer ends up interacting with a
man, and let's just say, since this is everybody always brings up race, so let's say a black man
starts, you know, goes up to a cop and starts calling, talking all kinds of nonsense and starts
“coming at the cop and there's fatal consequences, then is it all right then to blame the victim?”
Because that person walked up to the cop and started doing nonsense. Because the community, the community, Bernard, would go nuts if that happened. Yeah, I get it in that situation. I mean, the cop did what they had to do, but the problem is often what we see is we see the community member trying to de-escalate the cop. And the cop is the one that continues to escalate because they don't like that. For example, I love those auditor videos. I love them to them. You see how
many cops don't know what the real law is. Okay, Brad, hey Bernard, hey Bernard, I'm not trying to hold on Bernard. I hate to cut you off because I think that we're having a good conversation. Unfortunately, I'm on a network and I'm up against the clock. So Bernard, thank you for the call. I think it was a meaningful conversation. Please call back maybe tomorrow night. 86690 Red Eye.
