A decline in government spending subtracted from growth in the quarter because of the way GDP is calculated. But as a point out, less government money spent helps the private economy over time that if the government spending less money, it's actually a good long term. But because of the way the GDP is viewed when government spends money, that's part of the GDP,
which again, we view as another problem with using the GDP as the be all end all. The problem, what's dragging the economy, tariffs, yeah. Equipment purchases an intellectual property accounted for all of the uptuck in business investment.
It's basically AI.
What's hurting it tariffs and the president has doubled down on it.

like conservative outlets, but you know, the fascinating thing is, on the war and on tariffs, there's no support from the social media influencers that support President Trump and have supported President Trump no matter what he has done. The basic cheerleaders are gone for tariffs and the war, right, that's a problem. So that is a problem, and because it shows your losing part of your base, well, and to further
that problem, if you're not listening to your base, then who are you listening to? Because he's clearly not. If there's silence in terms of the support from your base, you're just doubling down.
Well, for what you, you never got, I mean, as we have said, don't BS the public, especially
on the economy. Yeah, that's one of the major reasons Biden lost. Right. Right. And when the President said that foreign manufacturers and foreign countries paid the tariffs,
and that we'll get, you know, trillions of dollars in investment, which of course hasn't happened, because there's no deal you can't force people to invest. No. No. And you can't force foreign companies to do that, and that we're richer than ever before.
And you make, when you over-promise and under-deliver on the economy, the public is going to turn you off on that. Yeah. Yeah. And when the President said over and over again, over and over again, that you're clueless,
you don't know what, you're like Alicia Silverstone, you're clueless. You don't know foreign countries and foreign companies. They pay all the tariffs and then the billions upon billions being refunded now to US manufacturers and now consumer groups suing, because it was the American public that paid the vast majority of the tariffs.
And they're ticked off that it's going back to the companies. But as the trade court says, there's no way to do it. We can't do it. Right. You know, they're the ones that paid, you may have paid it indirectly, but they paid the money
directly to the government, and that's the receipts that we have. It's the only thing that we can do. You've had a couple of big box retailers saying that based on the refunds they're getting, they're going to pass that on through lower prices. But here's the thing.
It's not a direct, it's not a direct check to the consumer. So the question is, all right, at what level can you lower prices that would make a difference,
“unnoticeable difference based on the refunds you're getting?”
I do see some prices on some things coming down, but that's I always chalked that up
to competition, big boxes competing with Amazon and other big box and other discount retailers and everything else. So I don't know what that, what point you, you know, I can't look at their books. I can't tell you what was essentially refunded through lower pricing and people can't either. They're not seeing prices come down, that's the big problem.
And with fuel, it's just going to, it just looks like we're in it. It's not going to change because there doesn't look like there's going to be a commitment to finishing the mission in Iran. It looks like this thing is going to be a long drawn out whatever. I don't know what it's, where the exit strategy is what they want to accomplish, what
they actually see as they're in goal right now. And nothing is going to happen in time for November 3rd.

of the tariffs, you know, we're in our rich country, nobody, nobody sees it, what they see is increased prices, people don't, people judge the economy by how they are. Right.

The, the deficit is higher now, where at one point, because we're not to the full year, the other be October, we're 1.37 trillion compared to 1.34 trillion last year. So doge did not have an effect of lowering lowering the deficit as we told you it would not happen. And we got criticized by many in my audience.
And we said, look, we've done this for a long time. This isn't an opinion. We both voted for Trump three times. This isn't TDS. It's economic reality and economic reality.
You can change. I can't change. No, when you look at the trade deficit, the president said, would be way lower because of the tariffs, the trade deficit remains higher than it was last year, because country simply went to different places to do it, the economy, the economy, the economy, why?
Because the people that are involved in the economy every day are going to search wherever they can for the lowest price. That's just the reality of it. Yeah.
So you never got -- you never got -- then they promised you were going to get the
tariff checks. That didn't happen. And then the president said the foreign countries pay it, which they did not. That's three things that were completely wrong that never happened, that we told you. And we were criticized for that as if, you know, well, people really can't say we
have TDS because we voted for three times. It's simply -- we're not going to be BSed. And others -- I want to see the party to win in November. I want them to win, right. And we're not going to BS you.
No. And Trump on tariffs has done major BS to the American public on it. And now what is he done again? Done it again. He said it again the other day.
We have a $200 billion deficit with Canada, you know, basically a deficit, you know, a, you
know, like trade and balance. He didn't say trade and balance. He said deficit as if it's a deficit, like the budget, it must be even, yeah, like it must be even with everybody. Or, no, it must be above with the United States all the time.
It doesn't work.

This is a public official who repeatedly told the public, he believed the virus evolved naturally and denounced the lab leak theory as ignorant nonsense. We ever hear him talk about leading scientists, remarking to him about the novelty of a COVID-19 mutation.
We hear him mention that his close colleague, Jeremy Fire, called a 2015 paper written by the University of North Carolina's Ralph Barrick with China's Xi Zeng Li, a how-to manual for building a coronavirus in a laboratory. This is what happens when you have people that do good journalism. It's pretty simple, Fauci handed all of the material to the world.
This has now that this has been released, it's known he's a liar. He deliberately lied to the world and was hailed as a hero still today after all of this by the left, hailed as a hero. Somebody gave him flowers, did you see? We love you, Dr. Fauci, we don't care about pandemics or people's lives, here's some
flowers, that's you know, you're just delusional, trying to make the case that nothing wrong was done, he did good work, you're not addressing the current situation and there it is he lost Peggy Noonan, another Wall Street Journal, Anthony Fauci and masks himself, the Diaries make clear he saw the pandemic less as a historic emergency than a media opportunity. It wasn't good for Fauci or anybody else that he took the fit that is sent in hearing

There's obviously his right as a citizen to invoke the protections of the Constitution and he surely had his reasons, but everyone who takes the fit knows what it looks like. And we go from that point on, Dr. Fauci is a man who ran the pandemic response in America, he was the face of it.
When you have been appointed in fact to lead a nation through a disaster, you owe that
Nation a full and frequent accounting, yep, to seem to dodge is unbecoming.
He has already been given a sweeping presidential pardon by Joe Biden. By the way, I'm glad that when my doctor gives me advice, that he doesn't get a full pardon for anything that he gives me in the advice, and that would be a little strange. I would wonder if I should go to that doctor, if that doctor gets a full pardon for the
advice that he'd given for basically 10 years or 12 years or 11 years.
Yeah, you'd want to, you'd want to second opinion. He goes, he has already been given a sweeping presidential pardon by Joe Biden in the time after and not covered by that pardon, he owes it to the public to speak truthfully. He would have been good to hear Dr. Fauci, distilled with the entire pandemic experience was and what it did to us as a society.
What could have been done to make it, it's management better, what decisions and respects respect make it worse, looking back to hear others in their newfound ascendancy, get carried

Dr. Fauci's pandemic diary release this week was also damaging. When I heard of its existence, I thought, good.
