This isn't "I Heart Podcast.

Guarantee human.

I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast.

This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families.

Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. The perpetrator was sentenced to 99 years until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to burden of guilt season 2 on the "I Heart Radio" app.

Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Clayton Nackard, in 2020, too. I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. But here's the thing. Bachelor fans hated him.

If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. That's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here. This case has gone viral.

The dating contract. Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. Listen to the love trapped on the "I Heart Radio" app.

Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. No matter what, I'm going to prioritize my wife and my children. I dread the conversation with my son. Listen to "On purpose" with Jay Shetty on the "I Heart Radio" app. Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast "Doubt," the case of Lucy Leppby. We unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? That has been made to fit. The moment you look at the whole picture of the case, Colach.

What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?

Oh my god, I think she might be innocent. Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppby. On the "I Heart Radio" app. Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Scrubbing in with backitilly and ton your rad and "I Heart Radio" and "Two Time People's Choice Award Winning Podcasts."

We are scrubbing in. We are common at you from Baha-Mahar. We're in the Bahamas, the brand new podcast studio. Which is called the studio at Baha-Mahar. Yeah.

I felt like every person that was in the airport was coming here. It was going to be Baha-Mahar. Fun fact, this is my second time here in three years. Wow. Wow.

I'm gonna become a local fan of shows around. Yeah, I'll show you the ropes.

It's quite an amazing property.

There is pools everywhere. Beach access. Food. We have a casino. I saw a fountain show for me last night.

Yeah, there's a colored fountain show. No, there's so much to do here. You can do there's activities. If you like activities, you can activity it up. Well, I love an activity, but you know who loves the activity.

Haley. Haley. Yeah. And she is my personal misdemeanor, so she will be thrilled. I'm sure that we all do these as we speak.

You're not the third wheel, as you and Robbie have said to me, you are simply a wheel.

I know, but not the third one.

Nice. You know, what's a tricycle, if not for the third wheel, it doesn't exist. And it's a tricycle. It's not a nice way to get from A to B. Exactly.

A pleasant way. You're not gonna tip over. Exactly. Stable way. Yes.

No wobbles. We did take a red eye here, and we did, which was a lovely flight. However, it goes by too fast in the middle in the midst of the night. It comes out. Okay.

And I'm at the age where I need my sleep. Can you sleep on the plane? Yes. Okay. I can.

However, I had just gotten my period yesterday. All right. So I had everything working against me, like all the elements working against me. Well, and our flight had gotten delayed, but it said just in case, get there as you would

for the original time.

But you know, I know I'm going to show up and walk on as they're boarding, right?

Two types of people in this world, me and me and you. And we got there still early for our original time, like, which was an hour and a half, because we didn't check bags, so we breeze through security. So we were already there an hour and a half before our original flight. It got delayed an hour and 45 minutes, and we ate at a sit-down restaurant.

We had a speed, speed walk race that I, you visited, I didn't hear anything l...

Yes.

And at that point, I'm like, we've got to, we've got to be close to boarding.

We still have another hours. I have to say, though, I'm like not a Becca, and I need to show up at the airport, like Wayne Advance. I want to be there two hours before my flight, like, get me there. I just feel calm.

I don't need extra stress in my life. Who needs extra stress in their life. And all week I was seeing this stuff with the airports about, like, the TSA and the lines, as I kept telling Becca, I was like, we got to get there early, we can't miss this flight. We got to the airport.

I didn't even weigh in the line. I went straight to the TSA as the first person all walk, and I think I went there security and got to our gate in the matter of 10 minutes.

And I stopped at them, print down my boarding pass, because that's how much time I had.

Yeah, she stopped at thinking, because I had just stopping at my boarding pass, printed because I'm old school, and I was like, for what, like, just in case your phone died or something? Yeah, you never know. I had the time. Yeah, yeah.

But back on, back and forth. Yeah, I was so worried about the long lines, and there was not a single line. So anyway, yeah. That was a little bit about a life lesson that I learned yesterday. Well, we've arrived.

You made it. And we're so happy to be here.

Actually, I'm looking around this, this studio is amazing.

It's the first ever resort based podcast studio. That's right. Which, like, why hasn't anybody done this before? This is gorgeous and so fun. It's so fun.

And they were saying, at some point, they're going to open up a certain section and then people can sit and watch so they can do live podcasts. So imagine we come back with a live podcast after not doing once in 2020, and we do it. We do it on the beach. Yeah.

It's so fun. It's like, behind you guys, there's a window, and there's people walking by like in their bikinis and stuff. And it's like the today show on the beach. It's so fun.

It's so fun. It's a TRL. It's impossible to be in a bad mood here because the weather is amazing. The sights are gorgeous. It's just like such a fun vibe.

Yeah. We're very excited to be here, and we had asked the scrubbers to submit questions. Oh, it came through. We're going to do a Q&A episode because, and yeah, we're going to do a Q&A episode. That's fair warning.

If anybody is watching, I've been some very potentially problematic clothing. So if I start shaking around, no, we might be seeing something. How should I be? Yeah. I couldn't hold her still.

Well, we'll have the blur tool ready. Yeah. Yeah. So my goodness. There are so many questions here.

Let's dive right in. We gone from Instagram, we gone from Facebook all over the meta community. Yeah. Let's, let's, let's start here. Bad.

Does Becca having more friends with kids change her mind on somebody being a mom?

No. It doesn't. Okay. I still, I mean, because I think you see people having different experiences and there's like so much, I guess my thing with having kids is I know the joy and like the love that

you have. I mean, I don't know it personally, but I hear people talk about it and I don't doubt that. Like when they start crying or they're getting fussy, I am just thrilled to exit the area. But I am, I am, it is fun being in a season where everyone's having it because I'm getting

to have the feeling of like being around kids and babies. Um, so that's really, it's a fun season of life, but no, I haven't necessarily changed my mind.

But every time I see a baby, I'm always like, oh, like trying to play with the baby,

you're good at detention. Maybe he's love back up and he's like, I feel like you want a baby, and I'm like, no, I just, I love babies. I think I'm up. That does, that does clear some things up.

This question took me a couple of reads to figure out what it meant, but I'm really curious about it now that I understand it. If you could touch an object and be transported to that time until you're ready to come home, what would it be? Huh?

That means, if you could touch something, like, like, I've toyed from your childhood and then you touch. And it takes you to your childhood.

That's what I think this question means.

And then you can come back whenever you want, so you're not stuck there forever. Um, is there, like, some object that, you know, is a lot of, I've been seeing a lot of this nostalgia videos where it, like, shows toys you played with as a kid or that or, um, like, for this is the one that came to my mind, but Moon Shes, do you want to Moon Shes?

I want to Moon Shes so badly. We've come in there, we're pretty. Not great quality. They're like plastic. You didn't get much jump.

Hi. They were, there were shoes that had, like, like, like, a miniature trampoline. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

But every time I see a video like that, I want to be transported back to that time

Because there was that, like, perfect balance where we didn't have a lot of t...

Oh, yeah. Yeah. And I don't know. There's just, like, a really fun time. But I also saw a video from 2006 of someone playing a dashboard confessional song.

And it was, like, photos from that time. And I was, like, man, if I could just touch a holster polo and go back, oh, maybe that time. Um, you brought up TRL. And I feel like that was, like, a time in my life where I'd get home from school.

Oh, I would make myself a grilled cheese sandwich and, like, those OG grilled cheese, like, makers, you know, that, like, you put the bread in the cheese and you, like, clamp it together. Wow. Did you ever have those? Oh, we have that on the pan.

No. Oh, pan. So messy. Tanya's using a George Foreman grill. Yeah.

Yeah. So, like, a George Foreman grill. I would make myself a grilled cheese sandwich. I would watch TRL every single day of her school.

And, like, I just always remember being, like, I want to do that.

I want to be in there. Wow. Yeah. - So that young guy touched the George Mormon and had that. - That's right, that's the George Mormon.

- It would make him into triangles. - Wow, yeah, it's like really good. - I got to get a name on this. - Yeah, yeah. - I'm gonna click him on a pan, like a sucker.

- No, no, no, no, it's like you take the square and then it makes like two triangles. - Wow. - Real cheeses. - Yeah, I don't know about that. - Yeah, come to the Radpad.

In 1992, that's, yeah, in 1990's, eight, 2000. - All right, 2000. - Yeah. - This is interesting. If you were housewives, I assume real housewives.

What would your tag lines be? - Whoa.

- I've always wanted to make up one

and I don't have the answer. - Can you give me an example? I don't even know what tag like, what are some examples of some like... - Oh, post examples for you.

They could be, my diamonds are so big that they could cut you. - Oh, you know. - Tamargeges is, I'm pint-sized, baptized, and highly prized.

- Wow.

- And let's see, oh, Porsche Williams from Real Housewives

of Atlanta says, I'm too blessed to be stressed in two sexy to be thirsty. - Oh, I'm gonna have to think on that. - Yeah. - I'm gonna think on that.

Feels like an important answer. - It's important. - Yeah. - What's it actually eyes? Do we know yet?

- I don't think we know that. - Wow. - Wait, I can't wait to see it. - I don't like it. - God, I can't wait.

I can't wait. - I can't wait to see you. - I'm so excited to watch her. - So pumped. - Okay.

- I did love that Tonya's life-long dream was to come up with one though. - And I'm still there.

- I always wanted to come up with one of these things.

- I always wanted to have one of these things. They say, - Let's troubleshoot. - Yeah, I know. - We'll work for a bit.

- They say women can't do it all. - And I'm here to prove it all. - Watch me with this ball. - Oh. - Well, Paul.

- I don't know. Don't they normally hold stuff in their hands? - I think so. - Do you can? - Yeah, you can.

- Yeah, you can. - Yeah, I have a bullet ball. - Yeah. - I mean, you want to keep that or do you want to keep - Or stop it?

- Yeah, we'll do it at dinner tonight. - See what? - Come up with something better, yeah. - Tanya, can we get an update on your parking situation at your house?

Is there a neighbor still parking taking your spot?

- No, and the cones have been moved. - Okay. - And everybody's acting appropriately on the street. - Okay, okay, okay. I think it was the presence of the cones

that whipped everyone into shape. - It is. - Yeah, I scare them off. - Yeah. - Okay, great.

A lot of people wanted a resolution on that. Let's see here. Oh, this is a fun one. Would you rather be able to speak every language or talk to animals?

- Gosh, that's so hard. - So there's a book called "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" that my nerd wife has read.

And she always talks about,

there's a part in that book where someone can talk to you. Or they go to a plan where animals can talk to you. And everyone thinks it's gonna be this great thing. And then you walk around and find that birds are dumb and just say dumb things all day.

It's like you're walking through a park and you're like, I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. - Oh. - And so that could be annoying.

- But I think I'd want to talk to Sunny. - I wouldn't need to know what she's thinking. But one of my dreams, I always have had it in the back of my mind of wanting to learn another language.

- Oh, so being-- - Okay. - Not that hard. - It's a little bit, but being able to speak every language would be so epic.

So I'm gonna say that even though I love to communicate with Phoebe. - I'll communicate with Phoebe in all of that. - Okay, okay. - Okay, okay. - Well, that's a good answer.

- That is a good solution. - Well, I tell you what she says. - That's a lot of power, yeah. - Yeah, what if Phoebe says something like horrible about like, oh God, Becca, Seeky songs to me

and everything. - I feel like that's what she says. So I'm prepared to be here. - She comes again. - I don't know why she really got so much to make Seeky be all.

- Let's see here.

If you could switch lives for a day, what would be your least favorite part of that? - Of that one? - Yeah. If you could live Tony's life for a day,

what would you dread about that? - It would be a great experience. - What? Probably waking up early and working out. Oh, like I think I would just be like,

do I have to do that? Yeah, I think that would be, with a waking up early and having to write a love note.

First thing in the morning.

- It's like favorite part of my day. - I know. - And I love that for you and Robbie, but I think that would be the part.

- I think the lack of structure to your day

would stress me out. It makes me anxious. - It's so terrible. - It's terrible. - It's terrible.

Like I don't have structure really like, and I wouldn't say every weekend, but like one weekend a month, I have no structure and it makes me feel so weird. Like I just like you just wake up

and just like do what you want. - Yeah. - Yeah, I bring you to that every day. I mean sometimes I have stuff on to do. - Right, right.

- But yeah, most of the days, yeah. (laughing) - That would make me so anxious, I think. - You think. - Yeah.

- You did just. When Tonya doesn't have things on her to do this, the amount of text of just like, just empty, like just like throwing something and seeing if it sticks to get me to answer.

- So I can tell. - Yeah. - I can tell.

- Oh, she'll go, you'll never believe this.

- Oh. - Or she'll like, can you like, she'll give, she'll hype me up.

And then I'll be like, okay, what are you gonna say?

I like the other day, she, you did it and you go, you know what's crazy? And I go, what? And then I waited for a long time. So I was like, this is gonna be crazy.

And she goes, I thought I was gonna start my period two days from now and I started today. And I'm like, (laughing) - No, it makes me, it makes me like, so this is gonna show that you do not pay attention

because what was crazy is I wasn't supposed to get my period for like three more days. - Okay. - And I was texting Robbie and I was like, I'm so exhausted today.

Like I literally just feel so depleted. Like something's like off, like I was like, I have to do some errands before the Bahamas but like I don't think I can like get all this done and say, go home, rest, it's okay.

Like I can help you. And then I get home and I got my period. And I was like, wow, I know my body so well that like I knew something was up today that clearly didn't translate to you.

- No. (laughing) - No, I, not in the way that you presented it. Speaking of, we get off the plane today, the first flight and Tony is like, my, my message is won't send.

I keep my, my message is just send. Now, what do I supposed to do all weekend? I can't even, I'm gonna have to use your phone. And I'm like, okay, well like, let me look at it so I look at her settings and then she's like,

let me text Robbie from your phone 'cause I, it said I need to sign into something and it's on a stick of post-it note. So she's like, frantically texting him and then if you saw the messages,

it's like rapid fire to him. - Oh, I, I saw the messages. - Oh, yeah, I posted it, yeah. - And then she, I just, I went to her, I message, I just toggled it off and all on and it started working again

'cause I googled it. I was like, I googled my, I message isn't working. And then it's what it told me to do and so she goes, I asked chat to be tea and I go, what was your prompt?

What'd you say? And she goes, I said, I got a notification that popped up and it said I need to sign into my Gmail and I was like, why did you make that so hard? But she, after we got it situated, she passed out.

We found this about to rest and I sent a picture to Robbie and I was like, she had to put herself to sleep from the stress of the time. - It was so awful. Because my, I would said it was even sending SMS.

Like it was even going green. It was just like, you're not getting any text messages. So like the panic, that said in the, and I was like, I'm not gonna have text messages for the next three days while I'm here,

like, was very stressful. So I was like, and that was not, I was sleepy. - Of course. - So I was getting, - I completely understand,

there's another part of this that I need to explore 'cause in the text to Robbie said, there's a post in it with hold my passwords on it. And I was like, oh god, tell you, that's terrible. Like what if someone, what if that falls in the wrong hands?

- Yeah. - And then you get to wear this, can you take a picture and send it to me? - Yeah. (laughing)

- But I didn't even, I didn't even. - Yeah, you didn't know that. - Actually, someone had hacked into your system, you know? - What? - Like you didn't know if someone had hacked into your system?

- I thought pretty confident that,

that's why I have them written on a post

and because they're so wacky that I need to be able. - I need to be able to have access to everything. - Which I trust you. - Yeah. - Yeah.

- You and Robbie would be like, two of the most people I would trust to have my passwords. - That's really nice. - Yeah. - Oh, that's, that's a good, like,

like, you know, I always think about that,

Like, who has access to, like,

should something terrible happen,

and I need to get into your bank account or something.

- Yeah. - That's actually smart. - Yeah. - I had my time. - A designated survivor kind of thing.

- Yeah. - Yeah. - I had it at my time. - You were. - Thank you.

A pioneer, somebody say. - She's a pioneer, she's a trailblazer. - She's a blazer. - She's a blazer. (upbeat music)

- I'm Nancy Glass. - Host of the burden of guilt season two podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became

the victim of a random crime. - He pulls the gun. Tells me to lie down on the ground.

- He identified Termine Hudson as the perpetrator.

Termine was sentenced to 99 years. - I'm like, "Lord, this can be real. "I thought it was a mistaken identity." - The best lie is partial truth. - For 22 years, only two people knew the truth.

Until a confession changed everything. - I was a monster. - Listen to burden of guilt season two on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

- In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief. - A nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history.

- Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi. - Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. - But what if we didn't get the full story? - At the moment, you look at the whole picture

of the case, collapses. - I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided

who Lucy Leppi was. - No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. - It'll call so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. - Listen to doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi,

on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. - I'm Clayton Nackard, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. - Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan.

He became the first bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected.

The internet turned on him. - If I could press a button and rewind it, all I would. - But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines? It began as a one-night stand and ended in a courtroom

with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. - The media is here, this case has gone viral. - The dating contract. - Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. - We're in such harm.

- This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. - I'm Stephanie Young, this is Love Trapped. This season, an epic battle of he said she said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies. - I am done nothing to get pregnant by the **** Brassler.

- Listen to Love Trapped on the I Heart Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. (upbeat music) - Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of The On Purpose Podcast. I'm joined by Luke Combs, award-winning country music artist,

and one of the most authentic voices in music today. Luke opens up about success, self-doubt, mental health, and what it really takes to stay true to who you are when your life changes overnight. - I hate fame, I hate the words celebrity hate those words

that you make me uncomfortable.

But if I think when you get to a certain point,

the fame or the success or the influence, it just accentuates and exacerbates the inherent person that you are.

The guy that says he's always gonna be there

and that will do anything to me there is the only guy that's not there. I'm in Australia when Beau is born. - And the whole identity is that no matter what, I'm gonna prioritize my wife and my children.

Over my job, I dread the conversation with my son. - What do you think you'd say? - Listen to On Purpose, with Jay Shetty, on the I-Hot Radio App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

(upbeat music) - If you could give your life and friendship a movie title, I'm guessing that's one, your life gets a movie title, your friendship gets a movie title. What would you choose for that?

- Domin Dummer. - Okay. - All right. Like, it's a movie that already exists

Or like we make our own make.

- Like Romeo and Michelle would be cute, like Tanya and Becca. - Oh, you got really creative. - What can you come up with? - I was gonna say like the pod squad

and we're like, oh, that's not original,

that's from Love's Blind. - Why? - They call them the pod squad. - Yeah, but it's not a movie yet. - No, not a pod squad of the movie.

- Yeah, pod squad of the movie. And what we do is we have a group of, it's like oceans eight, but podcast world.

I never saw any of those movies.

- You never saw ever since I was a kid. - No, it's not. - Oh, it's the one. - It's the one to, which I've never noticed in one. - It starts at all, isn't it? - Oh, I was like, no, I'm gonna save you the time.

I have not seen one through 11. - Well, it's not that big of a commitment, though. - Everyone watch, they're really fun. - I'm selfishly related to this one. What's your movie theater snack and drink line up?

When you guys go to the movies, where do you get from the snack bar? - Man, I either do a large soda, which would be a Dr. Pepper, Pib, depending on what they have.

Or an icy, like a Coke or Blue Raspberry icy. - Nice. - And then I do a popcorn,

and then I have to have a chocolate and like sour treat.

I love a watermelon sour patch. - Oh, yeah, so good. - And I do love a raisinette. - Oh, yeah, like a raisin. - Yeah, chocolate covered anything is like,

oh, so I usually go crazy with a water and we get cups so that we pour the water bottle into different cups. - Oh, we love a frugal queen. - Yeah, thank you. And then I usually go really big

with like the big thing of popcorn and usually one of the kids will get like some sort of licorice that I dabble with. - Like a red vine? - Like a red vine, but I'm trying to stay away from red 40, so if you're asking me this question now,

it's probably just popcorn and water. - Do you put butter on the popcorn or salsa? - It doesn't come with all that stuff on it. - You can add extra. - Yeah, I can add extra. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- So you'll split a large water, and then you're trying to wash down popcorn with like a small cup of water. Nobody wants to drink, like nobody wants to drink a whole water because you don't want to like miss the movie.

So we usually like split the water. - It's like a ration just in front of just like gasping or air trying to swallow. - There's your two cents in your life. - With a large popcorn. - Yeah.

- When we get the brown boxes, and we share the popcorn too, it's not like I'm having this giant popcorn for myself. - Yeah, it's just a crazy ration. - You're having a really ration. - Yeah, I mean those movie theaters,

they rack up their concessions. - Yeah, it's crazy. - Everyone, please donate to Tanya's. - I mean, it's your water, it's not even that.

It's like I never finish, I'll get a water bottle

on a never finish it in a movie because I don't want to pee. So it's like, why would I get a whole bottle when I don't want the whole bottle, yeah? - See, like, I'm not wasteful. - It's like, I get, the medium soda is the same price

as the large because of my AMC steps membership. So I always like, they always tell me though, like it's the same price just get the bigger one. And I'm like, well, I look like a monster of this giant popcorn giant soda.

And I'm like, I'm not going to drink the whole thing everybody drink it. - Look at the cups, get the spare cups and share. - That's what I'm going to do now. - Yeah.

- So down in the seat and hopped a poor into the toilet. - Yeah, exactly. I might actually become an AMC member. - You should. - 'Cause the line is always so much shorter.

- You get to go in that special line with everything. - No, I mean, everyone to do this for when girls like girls comes out. So you can go see once a week at least have a movie theater to get booked, a seat booked.

- Okay. - But it's the price of one ticket for a month and you can see like 16 movies. - You're lying. - I swear to God.

It's like 20 bucks a month or something. - One person? - Proverson. - But one, I'm ex ticket is like $27. And you can see four of those in a week.

It's, anyway, sorry, we're at Baja Mar.

We're really enjoying the first ever resort based podcast

studio, but I just wanted to let you know

if you should become an AMC Subs member, AMC AList.

Let's go to Facebook here for a couple more questions. Let's see here. Oh my goodness, I don't know who asked this. This is not sure we did do a name, but what's your favorite concert you've ever been to?

- That's so tough. - If you need time to think, I have one ready. - Yeah, who is yours? - This might blow your mind, but truly, myily Cyrus, when she is their first tour

not as Hannah Montana, I think it was called the Breakout Tour. It was her breakout, her album came out. - Okay. - This picture of this, dark arena, all black.

We see a screen. I'm getting away the camera. (laughing) Give my hands down.

A screen shows up.

It shows the statue of liberty.

It shows the Eiffel Tower. They start to get covered in snow. Snow is falling from the sky. They're getting buried in snow. There's a thermometer on the screen.

It's dropping. Oh my goodness, there's an ice age.

All over the world, the place is frozen.

Then, fog on the stage. From the stage, a giant block of ice comes up. What's in there? Oh my goodness, I get flipped from the back. Miley Cyrus is inside the block of ice.

You can just see her silhouette. It's quiet. You just hear the sounds of the snow. Snow. Oh my goodness, what's going to happen?

Then you hear, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. From the drums. She's punching the ice, punching. Drums are going, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. She's punching again.

And then, boom, explosion. The ice explodes. She's on the ground and you just hear. Every week's the same. People start going nuts.

- What tour was this? - The Breakout Tour. It was just 2009, I think. Stockings, school, so lame. No music, just vocals.

Still dark in there. My parents say that I'm lazy. People go nuts. Waking up at 80, I'm crazy. And then trying to be, she does the beginning.

Then she goes, that's the time when we're going to time when we're going to, lights come up. The world blurs into flames. Flames on the stage. Breakout, the party's out.

That was the coolest thing I'd ever see in my entire life.

And I think I'll have to be cooler than that.

- Oh, I feel so free, but I know. Like, that was a cinematic experience. It was $1,000, $1,000. - So that's my answer. - I was gonna say, Taylor Swift's 1989 tour.

- I was gonna say, I wasn't gonna say, "I was gonna say, "I was gonna say, "I was gonna say, "in 1989." And there was like a, there was like a magical, it was magic.

- Yeah. - Okay, since you took that one, I'm gonna go with hair styles. I loved hair styles. I loved hair styles.

But I'm thinking about where I left and I was like, "Oh my gosh, you know what I did that with?" Which was Ellie Golding. - Really? - And there was a factory boy.

- Like 2015, I think I went to see Ellie Golding at the forum, or no, she was in San Diego. And it was just, she was so cool. And she was like hitting, she did this drum segment. It was just really epic.

And it was one of my favorite albums. - I love Ellie Golding too. - She's incredible. - I had given honorable mention to Beyonce at Coachella because that was quite an out of body experience.

It was also like, my favorite is Haley Hioca. - Oh yeah. - Oh yeah. - Oh yeah. - Haley Hioca has a great theater in Berkeley.

- Oh yeah. - There was a bar, you can't, friends and family. - Oh okay. - Yeah, it's like winning a prize at the radio station. Like you can't, your friends and family can't win.

- Yeah. - Okay, but in terms of like performance and dance and every daily audience, yeah. - What's the most millennial thing that you do or that resonates with you?

- I think using the word like, I use the word like a law. - It feels, is that millennial? - I would say it's millennial. - Yeah.

- I don't hear so many Gen Z and younger Z and like. - Yeah. - As much, they still say it, but. - I say it's saying "Ello Well." - I don't know.

- I don't know. - No, I don't know. - Oh, typing it. - Typing it. - Oh, well, it's my favorite expression.

- But I think it's millennial. - Like I don't know Gen Z. - Like how nice is it to get an "Ello Well" from something you say? - It feels like you feel so good.

- It feels like I say "Ello Well" and I'm like looking at my phone like this, "Ello Well." - So you're not really laughing at "Ello"? - No. - Wow.

- If I do exclamationally, I mean like a capitalized "Ello Well," I may have laughed, but if it's a lower case,

you never know if I actually didn't have it.

- People use it as to punctuate a sentence I find. Like, have to go to the doctor "Ello Well."

- Yeah, that's what I do, and I do think,

I don't think Gen Z. I don't, I think it's millennial, but I do that. - Yeah, our producer Shelby's here. She's Gen Z, DU, D, Z, Z, Z, Z, Z. - Yes.

- Oh, stay yet? - Oh. - We're in the text, I'm sorry. - Interesting. - Interesting, it out loud, then.

- I say it as sometimes. - I know I don't actually. - Oh, you know what? No, my millennial thing is the front tuck. Like tucking the shirt into like the jean or pants.

- That's like a millennial? - Yes. - Right. Okay, Shelby says belt with the shirt tucked in is millennial. - So I tied by me, signed me up.

- Yeah. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - Yeah, I've never talked about it.

- I've never talked about it.

- I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it.

- I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it.

- I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it. - I've never talked about it.

- I've never talked about it. - There's a section of millennial that I don't do this, but there's a section. I don't subscribe to this. There's a lot of like, oh my god, look at the doggo.

Like, how long dogs do dogs? And like, you know, like, um, do you remember in like 2010, like everyone was getting the tattoo with the mustache. - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- And baking was everywhere.

There was a lot of baking stuff.

Like T-shirts, it's like-- - And mustache. - A lot of mustache. - A lot of mustache. - A lot of mustache.

- Yeah. - Yeah, not great to look back on. You know, we have so many questions to get into.

We're going to hit a couple more of these.

But first, shall we take a break?

Should we play some commercial? - Great, let's have the documentary. - Or two. (upbeat music) - I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season two podcast.

This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpride became the victim of a random crime. - He pulls the gun.

Tells me to lie down on the ground. - He identified Termine Hudson as the perpetrator. - Termine was sentenced to 99 years. - And like, Laura, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity.

- The best lie is partial truth. - For 22 years, only two people knew the truth until a confession changed everything. - I was a monster. - Listen to burden of guilt season two

on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, a story gripped the UK of looking horror and disbelief. - A nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer

in modern British history. - Everyone thought they knew how it ended. - A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppi. - Lucy Leppi has been found guilty. - But what if we didn't get the full story?

- The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. - I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast doubt, the case of Lucy Leppi, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided

who Lucy Leppi was. - No voicing of any skepticism are doubt. - It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. - Listen to doubt the case of Lucy Leppi

on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - I'm Clayton Nackard, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. - Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan.

He became the first bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected.

The internet turned on him. - If I could press a button and rewind it all, I would. - But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines? It began as a one night stand and ended in a courtroom

with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. - The media is here, this case has gone viral. - The dating contract. - Agreed to date me, but I'm also suing you. - Please search for it.

- This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. - I'm Stephanie Young, this is LoveTrap. This season, an epic battle of he said she said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies. - I am done nothing to get pregnant by the (beep)

Brassler. - Listen to LoveTrap on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, host of The On Purpose Podcast. I'm joined by Luke Combs, award-winning country music artist,

and one of the most authentic voices in music today. Luke opens up about success, self-doubt, mental health, and what it really takes to stay true to who you are when your life changes overnight. - I hate fame, I hate the word celebrity hate those words

that you make me uncomfortable.

- But I think when you get to a certain point,

the fame or the success or the influence, it just accentuates and exacerbates the inherent person that you are.

- The guy that says he's always going to be there,

and that we'll do anything to be there, is the only guy that's not there. - I'm an Australia, when Beau is born. My whole identity is that no matter what, I'm going to prioritize my wife and my children.

Over my job, I dread the conversation with my son. - What do you think you two? - Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty, on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

(upbeat music) - We're back, nah. (laughs) - We're here at Beau Hamar in the Bahamas at the very first ever resort-based podcast studio,

at the studio Beau Hamar, and this is so much fun. - That's right, you know we're one of the first podcasts

That we get to record in the studio.

- No, do you know if we get to do tomorrow? We get to cut, are we allowed to say? - Yeah, it is spoiler alert. We're getting to cut the ribbon of this studio. So we're going to be, yeah.

- Are you sure? - Yeah. - We are cutting it. - Yeah, I mean we're not the only one. There's going to be a lot of us holding those scissors.

But yeah, we're like our hands will be on this side. - Our hands will be on this side. - Because I think like that's,

so I've never cut any ribbon for any of these before.

- This is for sisters. (laughs) - I can't have that. - Yeah, I can't have that. - I'm not gonna tell you what scissors are tomorrow.

- Stand back over there. - I've always wanted to be a part of a ribbon cutting. I'm so excited. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - But for the ribbon cutting.

- Yeah, it's a sister. - I can't wait to see how this goes. Do you have giant scissors? Like what's going to happen? - Yeah, I can't wait.

- It's going to be so fun. - Yeah, we're celebrating the studio's grand opening tomorrow. This is so, so much fun. And we have so many questions from you guys. The listeners at home that we need to get into here.

- Okay, this is, this is an interesting one. I'm really interested in this answer. What's one boundary you've learned to set in your 30s that protects your piece? - I would say boundary, more so,

not needing to participate in drama. Like, if something's going on, not needing to add to it. Like, I think a lot of times it's like, you just need to confront, and I think you can confront and like, speak your piece.

But I don't, I think once you say your piece,

you can walk away from it knowing that you did what you need to do.

And not need to like, perpetuate the drama. Like sometimes I just, when there's something going on in my life, there's that need of like, I need to say what I feel because I need my truth to be out there.

But the truth is, is that if someone has their version

or their feeling of what happened, you can't necessarily change their mind by telling them how you feel. - True. - And I think that made me kind of give me the piece

of being like, you can't, someone's going to have their truth. You're going to have your truth and you can't change it. And that's just, it is what it is. - Excellent one Becca.

- Thank you so much. - I think mine would be in work, honestly. I think that I've always been like the yes girl. I've always been the pleased, the mispleasing everybody. - Yeah.

- I've never really like put my foot down and like stood up for myself. And I've realized recently that I can't do that anymore and I don't want to do that anymore. Like I would like do stuff and not get paid for it

and just be like totally fine. - Yeah. - This industry, especially it's really hard.

You know, they tell you you have to do that kind of stuff.

- Yeah, and I've been doing it for my entire, in my entire career and I was like, you know what? I don't have to do this. I should send up for myself and I've been standing up for myself a lot more lately.

And it feels really freaking good. And like no is a full sentence.

Like I always felt like I had to say like,

no I can't, so sorry I have other things to do or no I can't, sorry that doesn't work. Like whatever I always thought. Now it's like I can just say no. I don't have to like give it.

I don't have to have something else booked. I don't have to say. I was always like over booked because I had any minute somebody asked me to do something. It was like I just had to do it

if I was available. And now I'm like, I don't need to do that. I don't need to just be like stuffing my schedule. I need to do the opposite. I need to be less of a no person.

It's a nice balance between the two would be nice. Because like I think I was just, I was like miss please me everybody. And like that is burning me out. Yeah.

Your miss like, no. I've been missing out. I, my, my thought process. What's changed my mentality though is that when it, especially personal relationships,

not so much work stuff, but personal relationships. It's like, you can't want a village and not be a villager. Like I've seen someone say that you can't want to like have a village and like have support system and not also show up and be that for other people.

So like even if it's something that maybe you said yes to and you're tired and you don't want to do like my whole life I've been like, well, like my thought is like, really how bad are they going to miss me? You know, like I don't think of myself as like that

great if I don't show up. But it made me realize if they invited me to something special. It's important to go. Yeah. So I'm trying to be better about doing that.

I've been much worse after my surgery. I've been like very much like I'm not doing anything. I just need to like recoup and like chill. And Robby's very much like it's so important. You have to keep showing up for people.

Like people have been showing up for you.

Like you have to show up and I'm like, he's right.

Damn. You don't have the surgery. He's like, yeah. What will Becca's name be to your kid's tiny. Like, he's like, wow.

Antie Becky. Antie Becky. My nephew's and niece's called me. My, I'm, I'm Aunt Bee Bee. So like I've always been Aunt Bee Bee.

But I'm up opened to anything. I don't know about Becky because yeah, Becky with the little good thing.

I've got to go there.

What about, uh, Aunt Bee? It's giving, um. It's giving. It's giving. What is, there's someone,

I have a visual of someone named Aunt Bee.

Auntie Anne, the pretzel. Oh yeah. Auntie Anne, just let's my name. They're like, who's Anne? Uh, we'll discuss.

Yeah. I'm up into suggestions too. Okay. Yeah. Cute.

I also think when a kid starts talking, whatever they say, It's time to just be like, BAH. Yeah. BAH.

And BAH. Yeah. Bee Bee's easy.

That's why that was always a good tip.

Bee Bee's cute. Yeah. So most of the dick there and if something new comes along, go straight. Go straight.

You'd be, uh, if my hypothetical kid-- Children's been. You'd be. Tonton or T-T-T. T-T.

I like T-T. Or T-Y. T-Y. T-Y. T-Y-S-Q.

T-Y-S-Q. Yeah.

Is there a podcast that you guys listen to that you would like to be a guest on?

Yeah. Anything. Like the smart list? You'd love to be on smart list? Yeah.

Although, that'd be so scary. I can tune in. Yeah. I'd be tuning in too. But I'd also love it because like, two of them wouldn't know who I was, what I was.

Like, you know what I mean? Like they would know anything. So just be like fun conversation. I feel like I would enjoy-- is that girl that does the chicken tender date? Is that considered a podcast?

Yeah. The chicken shop date? Yeah. I would like to go on hers. I feel like she'd be fun to have a conversation with.

I feel like Jay Shetty would be really like a good, like, um, in-depth conversation. When we did his podcast, I felt like out of body. Did you feel like, um, like, I made it? Like Gandhi. Did you just feel like you just, like, is it like you transcend version of yourself?

No. But you know what he did that, like, he really made me feel-- I feel important. Okay. I will say that I was going to say Jay Shetty is one of those people that he knows everybody.

Like he's very in that world. Yeah. He's-- he's had everyone on his podcast. Yeah, yeah. I'll see him every now and then at different events.

He always comes up and says hi to me.

And it will be like, hi back out like he-- And I know if you're listening this, you're like, wow, that's like the bare minimum. But people don't do that. You know, people-- they might, like, smile or something. But he always makes it a point.

He's one of the warmest humans. Yeah. And I can take this step further. He always goes out of his way to be kind to Robby. Like anytime we're anywhere, and he sees like,

I know him through, like, Raquel and stuff like that. And then when I did his podcast. And then anytime I see him with Robby, he goes out of his way to be, like, so kind. And, like, why don't you be kind to him, man? I'm just kidding.

Wait, what? You're just like, he's so kind of Robby. I'm like, why would you be kind to him? Oh, I don't know. I just feel like, you know.

Because first of all, Jay's that person. But Robby's also that person. I know. But you get what I'm trying to say. Like, I think sometimes people make--

If they don't know that person, they might make them feel unimportant. Yeah. Because they're the plus one or whatever. Yeah. Yeah.

I think it's nice. Robby is that person to a lot of people, though. He has every time we had parties and stuff.

He'll always find the one person in the room that's, like, not talking to something.

I know. And make it seem like he's enjoying himself. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. This is a dear Bonnie question. But it's kind of in the vibe of the other questions we're doing here. Hi, Beck, a Tonya Markini. Cindy Markier and our thoughts.

And thank you for the joy lapse and comfort you bring every week. Your conversations feel like hanging out with friends. And I find myself laughing along like I'm right there in the room with you. I recently sold interviewers, Shonda Rhimes, said that the Shonda land character named to the Shonda land character.

She'd want to invite to a dinner party.

I think it would be fun to ask you this.

If you can invite five fictional characters to a dinner party, who would you choose and why? They don't have to be Shonda land characters. They can be from TV, movies, books, anywhere in the fictional universe. Can't wait to hear who you pick. Love you all so much.

Love Sarah. I personally just want the cast of friends. Because I go to sleep with him every night. I would love to, and I just want them. I don't need any other personalities messing up my moment.

So I too. I'm going to choose a full cast. She's great. Oh. I didn't think you'd be better than what I picked.

But she's Creek might be better. She's Creek might be better. And that might be where I'm landing. But my runner up was recess. The cartoon.

I grew up with them. Wow, so you went to hang out with them. But I don't even know any other news. Yeah.

Did you not want to recess?

No.

Oh, I'm going to show you pictures.

You'll know it. It was a Disney afternoon show in the late 90s. And that's to your hanging out with? Yeah. For dinner party.

That's right. Right now. Yep. You don't remember that? Are they still this age?

Or have they grown with you? This age. Yeah. You don't remember these people? I don't think so.

Well, this is my childhood right here. I mean, this guy Mikey. I'm just picture and you post it up with their triangle grilled cheese. George Foreman. Watch it.

Yeah.

But I think you nailed it with Shits Creek.

So I'm going to do that. Okay. That makes me feel a little bit better. You know, to each their own no judgment. Well, just like, it's just the kids of it all.

You're hanging out with a bunch of kids. It's like, what are you talking about? In hindsight, it does seem a little bit weird. I do like the idea of the cast of recess. If I, if I may answer this today, let's see.

I got Captain America. Captain Steve Rogers. Lighting McQueen. The Green Eminem. I, Wario.

And the last one would probably be the mask. Wow. That's who I'd want. Sounds chaotic. Yeah.

It would be chaos. But what a part. To be a fly on that wall. It's about. Did anybody watch Rambo Bright?

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Did you watch Rambo Bright? I think I watched Rambo Bright. Yeah.

I was obsessed with Rambo Bright. Why am I being so like nostalgic today? I don't know.

I don't know. You're really leaning into it.

It's about how Mar and me. That the island vibe. That's all right. What are we doing for the rest of the day? Yeah. What's next for you guys?

I would actually go explore the property. We're going to go explore. I would love to get some sort of drink inside of a pineapple. We have a spa appointment, too. We are going to go to the spa.

We're going to go to the spa. We're going to go to Katsooia for dinner. We're going to go find Hayley. She might. What if she's swimming in the ocean?

Great. Got me watching. Great. Have fun, girl. I'm super nice.

I'm super nice. It was sharks. No sharks here. Yeah. I'll have to go find.

Okay. We are, honestly. I can't believe that this is considered what we do for work.

At a moment on the plane when we were flying.

I can't believe we're flying to the Bahamas to do the podcast. Yeah.

At the first ever studio and that we were chosen to be the podcast.

One of the podcasts to break it in. Yeah. Feels like an honor. And cut the ribbon. And cut the ribbon of course.

But we love you all so much. I need a picture with the giant scissors. Like I just thought he's happened. Yeah. We'll get that one.

Okay. This small scissors. Whatever they are. Whatever they are, they're strong enough to cut the ribbon. That's what we're here for.

Exactly. We love you all so much. Thank you for submitting questions. We love you. We are going to be back with a Trader's finale recap.

That's right. We're watching tonight. And yeah.

And you never know what else is going to come.

You really don't. After full night sleep. You don't want to see what's going to be coming out of this now. You don't want to see. So we'll be back.

We love you so much. Bye. Bye. Bye. I'm Nancy Glass, host of the burden of guilt season 2 podcast.

What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?
