(dramatic music)
- Hey true crime besties. Welcome back to an all new episode of Seriously. (upbeat music) - Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to an all new episode.
I guess you could call it, or, you know, many teaser episodes with me, Annie Elise, your true crime bestie over here on Seriously. Now, as most of you, I'm sure have been following or I've seen on your feed, or just have knowledge of,
one of the most wildest trials of the year has finally officially come to a close. And when I tell you that there were twists and turns and tell the literal final moments, I mean it. We had a jury that could not reach you
in an animist decision, major disagreements, involving one juror, an emergency appeal to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and an absolutely explosive final day in court with so many twists and such a roller coaster,
I have never seen anything like that in a trial.
So many experts that had weighed in, have never seen anything like it. It had everybody on the edge of their seat.
“And honestly, there has been so much happening”
with the Lindsey Clancy case that it can really be hard to keep all of it straight. So about a month and a half ago, over on my second true crime podcast feed, 10 to life, 10 to life, 10 to life,
I released a deep dive that walked you through the entire backstory of this case, okay? Who Lindsey and Patrick were? What happened to their three children? Lindsey's mental health leading up to that day
and ultimately, how we got to trial.
However, now that the trial is officially over, I knew I needed to update it. I need, there were a lot of things that, you know, we need to just have a full start to finish. So today, I released a brand new fully updated,
complete timeline of this case over on 10 to life. It still includes the entire backstory
“if you want to get a little bit more in the weeds of it,”
but then it also takes you straight into the trial. Everything that happened over the last five weeks, including Patrick's testimony, all the theories and the speculations surrounding him, the social media storm that can completely
just took over this case. The battle over Lindsey's criminal responsibility, the jury deliberations, you know, the alleged 11 to 1 hold out, the fight involving that one juror,
the Supreme Court involvement, I mean, all of it. Everything that happened through the very end of day, last Friday. So basically, if you want the Lindsey Clancy case from start to finish, all in one place, this is the episode for you.
And it's available right now over on 10 to life. So I will put a direct link in the show notes here for you or you can just search 102 life, kind of like 20 to life or 30 to life, wherever you listen to your podcast.
But goal is in right now. Then I want you to come over, tell me what you think about everything, because trust me, we have a lot to talk about with this one, especially now that it is an official mistrial.
Will the state retry Lindsay? Will they include murder one? Will they offer a plea deal of manslaughter
“since that was put on the table as one of the verdict options?”
Or what's going through their mind? Knowing that it was an 111 split in favor of the defense. So I'm walking you through everything in this episode. You can go listen right now. Don't worry, you're still gonna get your Monday,
but brand new episode like you always do as well.
This is just a bonus in addition. So go check it out now. (upbeat music)
