Oh, thank you, everyone, for being here. I have a couple of shoutouts tonight. On Spotify, Amber says, "I'm learning to use my own mind to control my body." Wow. That is a really huge thing, Amber. Thank you for letting us know. Because yes, our minds are our point of access to so much of the world, so much of our life. Like our attitudes, our actions, and yeah, we have an influence over our own bodies.

So, I think sometimes it can take a while for us to really get that, but once you get

that your own mind is like the door to practically everything, it's a very, very powerful

thing to know. And really, it's not the conscious mind just chattering away. It's the relaxed, deep, inner mind, the subconscious mind that has all the power. So I'm so grateful that you let us know, Amber. Someone named Alice says that because of Sleep Magic, she's experiencing more consistency in her life. She's more consistent with yoga, and she started taking all sorts of courses.

You know, life is challenging. And it's really normal that we carry our stress around with

us, even all the way to bed. I mean, sometimes my head can just spin and spin and spin. Even for me, it can feel like I have no control of my thoughts. We can ruminate on the details of the day. The conversations we had or didn't have decisions we made, or feelings we carried. And all of these are forms of energy. That's sort of buzz around in our nervous systems. Unless we find ways to let them go. And of course, Sleep is a great release

of this energy. But ironically, sometimes Sleep feels very far away when the buzzing is strong. And it's also normal, I think, to think that if you let go of the buzzing, if you let go of the thinking, that things won't happen. Problems won't get solved. Tasks won't get accomplished. And yet, by relaxing and slowing down, the subconscious mind actually gets a shot at solving your problems. And it's really, really good at that. So tonight, we're

going to go into profound relaxation and actively let go of all that energy we're carrying. To literally let it flow away. And allow our deep inner mind to handle things. Before we begin, our only ad-break, which makes this magic possible. To listen ad-free, follow the

Allow your eyes to close easily and gently. Check in with the back of your head for the side

of your head against the pillow. Just allow yourself to sense the connection between

your head and the pillow. And as you sense that connection, just feeling the sensation of that heavy bowling ball of a head against the pillow. Your mind is slowing down, coming home,

to your body on the bed. Good. Now bring your awareness up into your eyelids for a moment.

And just imagine that your eyes are feeling sleepy. Like you've been up late at night reading

the book and your eyelids are almost have that sore feeling from being open too long. And all they want to do is close. Now I know your eyes are already closed but I want you to have

not heavy, sleepy feeling. Good. Now I want you to imagine that your eyes are so heavy and

sleepy that they won't open. And according to logic, they can open. We haven't changed your ability

to open and close your eyes but we're imagining that you can't open them. And as you imagine that now wiggle your eyebrows to show yourself and you're just thinking that you can't open your eyes. Good. You can stop wiggling your eyebrows now. And this lovely, heavy, sleepy feeling in your eyelids. Let's imagine it's moving back now into your brain. Let's just imagine that it's pouring back into your brain like a sort of relaxation, mist, spreading throughout your

brain, taking over every single cell of your brain. And this lovely warm relaxing mist feels so good. And you find yourself surrendering to it. As all mental tension simply disappeared. It feels so nice to let this mist spread into your faith, soften

The muscles of your faith.

even heavier than before. You notice now that the mist is moving down

through your neck into your chest, softening and swirling inside your chest,

notice that the mist is surrounding and supporting your heart, holding your heart,

as all emotional tension disappears.

As you imagine the mist is now moving down deep, deep into your belly. Your pelvis is

feeling very heavy now on the bat and that feels good. And the mist is moving around now swirling

and spiraling inside your lower belly and the muscles are softening and any tension you may have

been carrying, deep in your gut today, is dissolving, as your breath deep.

Your legs are becoming very heavy on the bat, and your arms are becoming very heavy on the bat. And any sounds you may be hearing in your environment, notice them now, they're taking you deeper and even deeper. They're simply vibrations moving through your body, taking you deeper, and this is the magic of your mind. Imagine your standing near the edge of a large body of a water.

The air is cool and evening is settling in. You're wearing a coat and a scarf.

They've kept you warm during the day, but now they're feeling a little heavy.

In the distance, you see a dock stretching out over still water.

Its long wooden planks look silvery in the evening light.

The air smells faintly, a fresh water and pine. There's a small sailboat moored at the end of

the dock, and you will sleep in it tonight. You take a step along a path,

it is soft and welcoming, and with every step you take toward the water, you find your going deeper,

and deeper into relaxation. You hear the hoot of an owl. The moon is rising, shimmering

on the water. You arrive at the dock and step on to it, which creates a gentle hollow creaking

of the wood, a lovely sound in the stillness of the night.

You walk along the dock until you reach the sailboat, which is rocking softly in the water. Ready to carry you into the night. You step aboard. The shiny deck beneath your feet gives slightly. The vessel is receiving your weight, welcoming you, as you find your balance. You take a nice deep breath, and smell the air, the slightly muddy scent of the water,

the metal of the sailboats mast. A rope is loosened, the sail lifts, a breeze picks up, and the boat begins to glide effortlessly. As the dock seems to drift away, nothing to think, nothing to do, as you go deeper, and deeper.

You feel the gentle movement beneath your feet,

and the soft breeze cool against your face.

And as you stand on the deck, looking back at the distant dock,

you become aware of the heavy garments, you've been wary all day. It is carrying all the thoughts you've had today.

All the words you've said,

all the chatter in your mind. You'll loosen the scarf now, sliding it from around your neck,

and as it releases, it lifts and dances for a moment to the breeze. You notice a small box on the deck.

You gather up the scarf and place it in the box,

as your mind becomes quiet,

and you are going deeper, and even deeper.

Lungerating in the silent. Now you feel the heavy code on your body. This code represents the responsibilities you carry today. Responsibilities you felt at work or at home. Things you've been carrying around without even knowing it.

You place your hands in the pockets and feel little rocks and stones more heavy. From smaller obligations or responsibilities you carry that aren't even yours. You allow the code to slide off your body, and you feel released, light, free, and you place the code in the box.

As you go deeper, and even deeper. The soft sound of water against the hall is like a whisper.

A soothing whisper.

You sit down on a soft seat along the edge of the deck.

You look down at your shoes.

Your shoes represent all the distance you cover today.

The tasks you're accomplished. The rules you followed.

Your shoes kept you moving in the world.

But now it's time to stop. End with. End with.

You take off your shoes and your toes wiggle freely.

And you place the shoes in the box.

You notice that beneath your code, you're wearing soft silky pajamas. They feel so comfortable against your skin. Deep down.

You know you would be coming here tonight.

You close the box and place it in the water. Where it floats, easily, bobbing gently. And you release it from the sailboat. And now you watch it float away. Into the distance.

As the sailboat continues to glide forward, rocking gently. Water tapping softly against its sides. And as the box floats away, your day is floating away.

You will remember it.

You're no longer carrying.

And now the box has disappeared.

And you feel light and free. You look up into the sky. The night is deepening.

Stars scattered everywhere.

The air smells wonderful. The sailboat is flowing down now. And now it's almost still.

As you hear the anchor drop into the water.

And as the sails are lowered,

your little boat is rocking. Miss low, tenderness. You go down below deck. Define a small cabin. You discover a cozy bed.

With this blankets folded back. You lie down.

The air holds the comforting scent of wood and night air.

The mattress is receiving you. The boat is cradling you. The water is rocking. Back and forth. Back and forth.

As you are being held in the arms of the night,

You close your eyes.

You hear the call of the moon across the water.

And then it echo. Stretching across the stillness.

You are cozy, and warm, and safe, within the cabin.

But inside of you, you feel the spaciousness on the lake.

The vastness on the sky.

You feel the space between your thoughts.

Becoming bigger. And softer. Continue turning. Very slow.

As you float between the water and the sky.

, you feel the space between your thoughts.

To think. As you go deeper. And deeper. And deeper. And your body is softening.

As you dream.
