Hey, spit and chip, let's list this.
You could find every episode on Apple Podcast in Spotify.
Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. Me and Ryan have been officially welcomed to the jungle that is basketball sports. I brought it towards the priorities and I asked him if it was okay if I joined the spit and chip, let's pop that whole time. No, no, no, no, no. Ryan, Whitney, you got to think with me out there now.
It's a full-time member, Marley just gotten us, it's from Chris B. Whoa, what is it right now? Sweet. What is up folks? Welcome to Episode 634 of this spit-chug as well.
That's all pissed, that's a really dirty pinkies up. That is, don't even check that out if you're only listening to audio. Pinkies up, shout out. Pinkies in.
Myself and Yant in a Brooksville Florida at Cabot Citrus, we're going to be playing some golf
the next couple days. I know Bisier in Atlanta correct? Sounds like a plantation or something. I think it used to be a big old orange farm or a tree farm or a crow.
“Okay, so that's what it's called, it's called a crow.”
Based on the logo, there's oranges everywhere. I mean, I walked in, they left a sign, spit and chip, it's welcome spit and chip, let's a hat for me and Keith, I'm rocking it right here, shout out Cabot Citrus and a big old pinkies up, right? A big old bottle and a shot of pinkies up, so shout out Pink Whitney, shout out you guys,
everyone listen and thank you. I think the NHL is scripted. It's complete just entertainment value through the roof right now. We got on ice stories, we got off ice stories. Bis, I did have a question for you because the other day you woke up and you were firing
off text to us, I loved it. Santa is in this morning. So it's eight the morning for me and then I started thinking he's still in Scotland still. So five am. So you're like that David Dobbins guys, that's the guy's name.
Are you just Goggins?
“Are you saying alarms or are you just waking up at like 0.455?”
Sometimes my circadian rhythms out of whack, like even last night I woke up at like 4.30. Why, what's the cup for, you know? No, I was just doing Pinkies up for that big word for a great, great vocab. Oh, okay, if I'm getting Pinkies up for a fucking, I'm like, my word play. Now I'm like, I'm an ember something.
But nobody, I'm honestly just so fired up over this wild card race. Like, normally this is kind of like the, all right, let's get things going. And as much as I want to start playoffs, like, I'm like perplexed. Another big word for you, Pinkies up, a couple, a couple syllables not a big deal. Down the hatchet, both the West and East Coast wild card races are unbelievable.
And it looks as if though after that huge win, last night against Dallas, that the scumbag ruins of punched their ticket to the playoffs. Unless something catastrophic happens, they have punched their ticket. And I called them the, what was I call them before the fucking before the seasons. The shit bag ruins, I believe I was calling them.
“Not mentioned, did they may have punched their ticket?”
They're going to be a fucking issue in the playoffs. I wouldn't want to play them. The wastewamence plane, the way that they're playing, like the 2011 Bruins, like they are going to be a real problem to play against. That meant, that meant, who would it be?
So they'll get, if they're first wild card then, I mean, right now, Caroline and Buffalo,
they're tied at 100 points and it's just, but let me tell you, you hate the Bruins you call them scumbags and then just attacking Ottawa fans online. But your team and your organization, the biggest joke in the NHL, going on 59 years, you didn't even have a GM anymore, but the business. Well, first off, if we were in the Western conference, we'd actually be in the second wild
card position in the ice, 77, and if my grandma had wheels, she'd be a bike. That's a very clean version of saying it. I was like, well, he's going with the grandma, he's going with the grandma version of that line, but you went with the bike in the wheels and like, that's because my husband had tits. How about that one?
Hey, okay, look, it's somewhere where we're going somewhere a little bit more serious. You saw that political, that, that Republican lady, right? You got caught cheating on her husband and then it turns out he's fucking dressing and pink, pink pants and panties and wearing fake rubber tits. The dog was even in one of the photos.
My algorithm, I did see like a guy with like, fake tits on in like a suit and I just kind of kept scrolling. What's going on? I don't want to fake set of jammers. If I'm talking one over at the laptop, give me a couple of months and I'm going to have my own. Oh, is that baby pink pants? Pink panties? Pinkies up? Let's go.
I got fitted for suits like two and a half years ago. Maybe maybe three years ago and I went to put one on the other day and I can't even, I can't even button it and it's just, it's just been slowly, I guess where I haven't noticed it, but it was a shocking and just disgusting moment.
I put this suit on that I remember wearing, I don't know, year and a half ago...
it fit great and I can't button it. So there's some big issues in.
Should we do it? And I'll have my own tits. Should we do like a team fast? Maybe even before G's wedding, maybe we go like a five day fast. Have you ever done a five day fast? I've done three days, five minutes. I don't, I just don't, I just love eating. I love watching hockey and eating and playing golf and like I don't want to sacrifice my eating.
“Now I could, you should do what the girls do then. By bigger suits.”
Well, I'm not doing ozempick. No, not ozempick. They get the lymphatic drainage. They get wrong. Before they hit the red carpet, they fit in all those, those fancy dresses. I'm fucking, I turned into a Savat. You're a Sorris.
Oh, Sorris. Going back to the Toronto City team.
Then be playing Buffalo would be playing Boston if it started right now. Is that what you asked earlier? Are you sure? Well, hey, you got to think the whole man if Boston keeps pushing until the end of the season. There is a, there is a possibility they do catch a Montreal and we're bump Montreal as good as Montreal's playing. And as good as Col, Col, Col, Colfield is 47 bucks now for Mr. Saturday night. But I digress because I was attacking Ottawa sellers fans as much as I would like to see another team
from Canlem make playoffs. You know that when bad things happen to us, Ottawa fans are all over our nuts. So just like they were chirping us about not making playoffs, firing our GM cleaning house, essentially. We did keep our six assistant GMs. Thankfully for my boy tonight because I love donor. But I also love tree boys and, and this sucks.
“And you know, he, I think that he got one, he hired one coach. It was Barube, right? Like that.”
He, like, normally you get at least, you know, to change the coaching position one time as a GM. But I think that, you know, some of the moves that that went down probably look bad on his resume. And, and where I guess enough to relieve him of his, of his duties. I'm kind of, I don't know where it goes from here or who you hire or maybe if you bump up one of the assistant GMs. I don't know who is in consideration. But I've kind of obviously anticipating something might happen. There's a reason why I put my ambassador
jacket to the rafters. Um, I've done one of the announcements that I've, I've put my name in the ring. Let's say the placement. The rafters means like honor and good point. Good point. Good point. Great. Well, I thought you shut it down in the base. You threw it down the lawn. You did bring you did bring it. I will give you that. He brought the he brought it. Those guys on the ice plate is hard as I did being an ambassador. We have, we, we, we, we, we, we.
Be very, we've been back to back. So you probably have seven, seven cups in the last 10 years.
“If they honestly went as hard as you go, I mean, David Goggins pissing at the source. He's up at 5 a.m.”
The Leafs are not up at 5 a.m. They're just getting their GM fired. Exactly. Um, and I don't know if you guys have read the CBA. I have obviously, because I'm at the source, uh, that it's illegal to have a team ambassador also act as active general manager. So there's a reason I put the ambassador jacket in the rafters are in the basement or in the closet. However, you want to say it. And I'm, I'm, I'm going to be interviewing for the position. Wow. There is a gambling site that has his name on there.
I think some guy like sent us a tweet, but I don't know if you saw that. That's our raise bookie. Oh, damn it. Damn it. Shit. And that was still out there. I'll tell you. I'll tell you, because though, when the news broke, forget letting him run the trade deadline, which is just so bizarre, it's an hour before this big game. I mean, big game. I guess for the docs, it was a big game. But for the for the core and, um, I guess the Toronto Maple Leafs pride, it was a big game.
All of a sudden, the news breaks that tree living's fired, and it's just been such odd timing to me, because I don't get why maybe they didn't know they were going to do this, but what changed, like, in the last month, two months, where now it was like, it has to be done now as opposed to the end of the year, and we decided we're going to let tree run the deadline. Do you agree with that? Yeah. I don't know. And, and like, it could be as silly as like they
did it right before the game against Anaheim. So like, there was something else to talk about. Like, over the news cycle, like, again, you give me that look, but that's the only explanation I have. I don't know why they would literally do it, like, right around that time. So I don't know. I will say
though, like, as much as you want to blame tree, like, listen, I think that Chief is obviously an incredible
coach who is incredible player. He has so much respect. I would love to chat with them, like, off record, just to be like, you know, what did you think of the coaching job? And, you know, I know that they lost Marner, and that was a big loss for him, and I know that he was a big
Marner guy.
the lack of empowering other guys. He helped these scratch Machelli how many times, like Robertson,
like, never really got a fair shake. Bobby McMahon, like, like, you're telling me that guy couldn't
play in a consistent top six, like 18 minutes a game. Look what he's doing and fucking look what
“he's doing in Seattle. I think he had, well, I think he said more breakaways in Seattle. Every time”
I look at a goddamn clip, the guys get a breakaway goal. So he said more breakaways there in the, in the, in the three, four weeks he's been there than he had, maybe his whole time in Toronto. Never played three on three over time. Never, like, like, I, I, I think that there could have been a lot of different situations as far as the way that that players were played. They also dealt with their fair share injuries. This year was a, a brutal year. I, a forgettable year for William Neelander and my
opinion as good as maybe as it started out. Um, you know, if you think he, he, he, he flipped off the cameras in the press box. He wore a fucking tank top on other game in the press box. He looks to be a guy who's
just go through the motions, making 11 and a half million, knowing that he's got no problems in
life. And, and I'll tell you, I saw Kiprio's talking about this, had an admission against the ducks and Max Domey. We can get into that in a sec. He fights Goudes so weird. Goudes didn't fight back. I feel like that's just like, like, as happy and proud I am of Max Domey. And obviously, Goudes playing through injury in order to answer the bell. He was wearing a walking boot the day before. I feel like that's like fairly minor in comparison to the overall story. Oh, no,
that was just, no, I'm just kind of like ranting here for a second, but you brought up Neelander and later in the game, um, he kind of gives like a cross check to the Anaheim goalier, like bumps into him and then mitten you call or somebody, one of the ducks defense becomes over and Eastern Cowen comes ballman in and like berries the guy like exactly what you want to see. And, and Kiprio's pointed to so Neelander just kind of gets up slow. There's a scrummy doesn't even get in the mix at
“all. It's just like, oh man. I know you mentioned him and I was just thinking of, as I think you said,”
you're nailed off here. It's nailed as he starts the scrum after considering it's that type of game and we're well aware of what needs to happen to the game against Anaheim to kind of like make up for lost time on on the lack of response for often met awesome athletes being done for the season. And that's kind of the effort they get. Like, I mean, I was also there and St. Louis the other night, he was not very good and he was fucking the dog a little bit. And I think he was
asked about it and he basically said, like, you know, I have my fair share of comments, but I'm
going to keep them to myself. It's like, bro, what the fuck? What the fuck? Same for my future channel. Yeah, he's saving him for exactly exactly like, hey man, like I've I've I've had nothing but respect and and happy with Willier's performance. Well, Neelander's performance up until this year, I just think that this year's a big time wash. And if he's not, if he's not leaving this season and saying, I need to take a big long look in the mirror and he's more point the finger, like,
all this, all that. It's like that to me is everything I need to hear in order to say send me a package and tell me tell me the teams right down the teams that you want to go through and we'll see if we can
“make something work. But ultimately, as I think kept her set the same thing, I think Odog said the”
same thing like this rebuild basically depends on what Austin Matthew's going to say this off season. He goes in there and he's like, yeah, you know, you know, it's, you know, I'm all shaped my time here and I've done everything in my power in order to change it and get over the home, but I want to pay for Ottawa. What the true team in Ontario. Hey, so if Austin Matthews did leave and the team would essentially be William Neelander's. How are you feeling as a Toronto
Maple Leafs? No, I'm tired. I already, I already traded him already. I've already he's gone. So both of them, you would get both of them. If I was GM and he wanted to wear a fucking tank top or his bullshit out fits moving forward in that hallway, how many of the rink were fighting and we're closing the doors and we're scrapping and then whoever makes it out a lot. If he makes it out alive, he can dress. If he doesn't right back to your fucking house, put a black suit on with a
black tie and a white shirt. Every time off the glass and out, I don't give a fiddler's fuck about your chrome hard jeans. I don't care about your scarves. I don't care about your Louis Vuitton. I don't care about your Gucci. I don't care about your fendi. I don't care about your both peg of the netta. Now it's, let me, I don't care about your sachi shades. So the next day, I want I'm driving a fucking four- arrow star of the rink. I want to make driving. So you know, they make those anymore, but I'll
get cams, although I think he takes the train. So I mean, that's, that's, that's some blue collar stuff right there. Maybe you can just keep that and maybe bring it into his game a little bit. But it,
One other thing.
sixth guy. I keep referring to Neilander as like he gets paid like a top end guy. But to me,
he's, he should be your Phil Kessel, right? Like Phil Kessel, to me, he's not going to be your one of your core pieces in a sense of like, raw, raw in the lock room. He's going to add like, uh, like, uh, levity, levity is the big one. Yeah. Have I used that one yet? Did I double dip on levity? Nope, he got one buddy. You know, he, he's supposed to provide fun and then also opportunistic scoring and just the clutch gene, which I feel like in playoffs, we can all agree on, if you look at all those
“guys, he's been the most clutch. So maybe that's why people would be like shut the fuck up you idiot.”
By the way, I'm not the, I'm not the ambassador anymore. So I can talk like this and not
hinder guys leaving like Mitch Marner. Uh, but that's maybe where people are hesitant to trade
him because he's been the most clutch come big games and big playoff times. But at the end of the day, if Matthews is leaving, I don't think you're really building your team around William Neelander. Can we just all agree on that? Also Phil Kessel as the, whatever you said, fourth of fifth guy wasn't wearing tank tops to the rank and chrome hard genes and bringing outside noise. He was just showing up doing his job and doing it for fucking a thousand straight games. He was going and
winning poker tournaments and coming up and just just helping win games. And just sitting in his one chair watching movies. His member that chair that. Oh, yeah, that's a hell of a, I mean, if it can
“we throw the pitch. That's why you didn't play anymore. I think you got to investigate it for that.”
They're like, uh, we're gonna, we're gonna singular chair right in front of a 90 inch TV and it's six five max for even. I don't want to spend a lot of time on the leaves like you said like they're just a joke, but I do think that the noise of, of trees firing and all this and the season they've had, well, then the next day after the anti game that they ended up winning and you want to lose games right now, but they win that game. MLSC president and CEO Keith Belly did a press conference. I would say
it didn't go over great. Um, I think the fans were were a little disgusted at the end of it considering at one point. He said we all know that Toronto may believe have found the foundational pieces in place. I don't know if they have that many foundational pieces in place. I don't know their prospects. I don't know if moving forward. It's like the Montreal Canadians with just young gun after young gun coming and ready to play. Well, according to him, they snuck up on us.
I was going to go there without the best part. We didn't see Montreal doing this this year. It's like funny. The whole league saw this coming. Were you fucking living in Afghanistan in a
“bunker? Were you fucking in Bitladen's old pad? Like, were the fuck were you hanging out?”
I think every human being that watches the NHL regularly going into this year after last year was like, oh, Montreal's building something pretty nice. So up there, Montreal, they got a lot of young guys coming. They got guys that aren't even there yet. This is going to be a little bit of a run here. And he's like, we didn't see much. We'll come around coming out. No, we're not doing it. They got another goalie prospect that came up. They traded a Mayhew for Bull Duke. Who else did they snag? The
defenseman from Long Island? Dobson. Dobson. They just they added more pieces to what they had. But he didn't see it coming though. But, um, and then, and then once again, like they have like five or six assistant GMs, like, why didn't one of them fucking throw up there and have a say as they're like, maybe what they've seen or whatever. So it's, it's a bit of a shit show. I think that I think that the problem with Tio is hard. It's just, and it's hard not to with MLSE and everything.
It's just so, if there's so much politics involved. So I don't even know if you ever truly saw the problem, and also who who really wants the job? Like, can they go get a qualified guy to want it? That's a wanted job. Yeah. That's big dough. That's original six. You won't win shit. You'll get tortured by the fan to be a laughing stock for another 59 years. But people want that job. You know, who I think would be perfect for the job. A big name, a guy with some thick
scan a guy who's been in the shit on and off the ice. Oh, no, sorry. Why are you raising your hands? It's not you, biz. It's, uh, it's shit. Number 44, Chris Pronger. I think that he'll, he would
make an incredible GM one day. And I think that it would be smart to have a guy like that at the
round table to think that you could just throw in a guy who has it like learned at any lower level to see did. He was a, he was in Florida. Yeah. But for how long? I think he was there like two or three years. But biz, are you saying in terms of doing trades and running the draft as the GM would because President, if he's president of the Leafs, it's like, All right. Well, I can at least be a part of the
Culture and like how we're approached.
That's true. That's true. Um, I just like, I think that GM had, I guess, has a little bit more
control where the president more of is like at the round table and like giving his strong opinion.
“That's where I think you would be valuable at this point. I think that like having him as in”
like an assistant GM at least to start. I mean, add them to the six, six they already have six. Yeah. Six. Yeah. Um, but yeah. I mean, like, the guy, the guy's seen it all. I agree with that. I just don't know how easy it is to step into like a role like that. If you don't have that much experience, right? Yeah. No, I don't think there's something that Chris Pronger has not seen in the NHL and he pays attention to the league still. He has since he retired. I just don't see a
world that where if he's running your team, where he, that's actually, that's lead the Leafs. Oh, I'm good in the answer that. Fuck, and I am, it's belly, it's belly pick up. He's like, did I just hear you mentioned the Montreal Canadians? Is that a new team? Is that a new team?
They said they weren't expanding. They have two billion dollars to expand.
Kipper mentioned Ryan Getslov's name as an interesting name. He's been working. I believe in Nashville's front office for the past few years. Uh, but that's he said we also want to keep an eye on Chris Pronger and Ryan Getslov to others being discussed for front office shops who don't have the same kind of executive experience. I don't think any Leafs fan would be like
“upset if they hired Chris Pronger as GM. I think they would see, look at this, what this guy”
did as a player. Yes, he does have a little bit of experience outside of it. Like, I wouldn't, it's just like I said, like, like, tree and people would say, oh, you know, what, what did he do? Ball, ball, ball, right? Like, bad, maybe some bad trades. Like, he was assistant in Phoenix. We had success there when he was there. He went to Calgary and then obviously then Toronto. So, like, it's like he's been around doing it. Not saying that necessarily makes you successful,
but I, you know, I don't think he's, I don't, I also don't think he's the fucking worst guy behind the wheel. There's some tough trades there. You also don't understand what is being controlled by the upper hand reader. Like, I don't know. I don't know if some of the stuff he wants to do is like, no, we can't do that. All we can't do this. Like, maybe they wanted to trade Marner before his no move clause kicked in. Like, oh, no, you can't do that. He's a local kid and he sells tickets.
Like, I don't know. I don't fucking know. I don't dig. Well, yeah, you don't dig. You don't dig. My final thing on this was another classic quote was that the leaps and getting back to the greatness. And that's in air quotes that the leaps have, you know, shown over the years, this truly great franchise is said, we have just completed a complete rebuild of MLS club Toronto FC,
“all use a data combined with cultural checks. So I don't, that's where I think he's losing a lot of”
people. Like, you're bringing up our MLS team, Toronto FC. Like, this is the Toronto Maple Leafs. Yes, it's all MLSC. But if you compare the, um, the importance to people in Ontario and around Canada and around North America who love the leaps, I don't think that the leaps and Toronto FC are, are really like that compatible. I, I don't, I don't think that quote resonated with a lot of people. That's a pinkies upwards for me. Well, I actually, I don't think that they're going to do.
They're actually going to introduce these, uh, much like the NDP government. They're going to do
these, uh, gender equity cards. So whoever whoever has, like, the certain color get to speak first
on trades, um, anything about calling guys up. So it's kind of nice that they're incorporating, uh, certain things they did at the NDP conference, uh, recently. Yeah, that I don't know if I don't know if you guys caught that one on online. No. No, you brought that up quick and, or maybe that was all fair. And then I think I saw you tweeting about it, just asking like, what is this, uh, that looked interesting to say the least. I do think, um, do this though, just very quickly.
I respect the hell out of that. Like, he, he, he blatantly was like, yeah, I'm playing because I'm going to answer to what I did. Uh, he obviously felt bad. I think the way it comes off Keith, you know him well, you said you think he'd feel bad, but he goes out there. He knows what's coming. And do you think he didn't throw a punch back on purpose being like, I'm just going to take this beating. Like, this is what I deserve. Or do you think it was more he didn't have the chance to throw
punch? Because he didn't throw one punch. I heard Chetty, you know, Chetty, the kid upper deck you got. He said it looked like a gang initiation in the crypts where you're not allowed to fight back. And you just have to take your beaten. But I honestly think he, he just took his lickings. Obviously tried to protect himself as much as he could, but he knew like, he, he, he understands the game. He's, he's hurt guys before he's been in this situation. Like, he understands the game just as
well as anybody else. And he knew he had to take a beaten and, uh, you know, Max, Max looked pissed off,
Max looked, uh, like he was sticking up for his friend and getting some reven...
that out of Max for his team. And yeah, I honestly think Goody was just like, hey, listen, I did, I did this. I hurt one of the best players in the game. I got to answer the ball here. And, you know, what, I'm just going to try to protect myself and not throw any punches. Max is pretty tough for being an undersized guy. Very tough. At the fact that he was wearing a boot that day before, I don't know if his balance might have been off. And he was just like, I'm just trying to survive this
thing. But I'd be interested to ask Goody's off like off camera. Or I guess you could get as if you're that closer to them. Like, hey, what, what was the deal with that? But going back to tree boys,
like, sometimes it's like, like, he's my guy, right? So if you're like, oh, you're not being critical
enough on them. Like, he made some bad trades. And like, he was not good. It was it wasn't a good tenure in Toronto. Well, that's your fucking opinion. Like you want either of you guys can step up and say it. I tend to protect my guys the same way I go to bat for talk it on here. Like those are my guys. I'm yeah, it wasn't. Yeah. It wasn't. It wasn't. You know, some of these people listen and don't have friends, a close enough that they can stick up for. And I do. I'm with him. We talked about it
about tree and whether he had a fair shake or not. And I'd be like you said interesting to see talking to him if he did, if there was other people, you know, given him information or what they wanted to do or where they saw the team gone. Because trees are very, very smart hockey mind, a great guy, a guy that cares about his players. You know, obviously like you said, he helped us in Phoenix. He helps Calgary get to where they are. You don't just get a job in Toronto, just because just to hand you a
“job. Like you have to earn that and he earned it. And you know, I think he'll get another job. I think”
he'll do a great job. And maybe going to a place that doesn't have his most media presence or whatever the case is. Because I would imagine being the GM of that team is going to be a water sleepless night. It's almost got to be like working in as like a mayor or something like that where you're
always on call. Well, there's a guy that is not always on call and he's in Ottawa. And this is the
Linus hallmark story. And this is just bizarre. I tweeted about this last night. It was on the plane. And we forgot to mention on the show one that we recorded on Sunday that Saturday night, big game. I mean, every game right now for auto was a playoff game. Omar decides he can't play. We didn't talk about this. We didn't talk. We actually put this one on ice because we didn't know how to shake out. And yeah, I'm trying to kind of glad we did.
So he decides he's not able to play. All right. Then the the news breaks and Ottawa fans,
“I think that I think they're second tired of it. And listen, I'm not sitting here and saying mental”
health is not real at all. I can't imagine what this guy's gone through. I feel for him it's brutal. And there's been people in my family of struggle with depression. And it's a horrible thing to have to battle that stuff, right? But at some point here, you're making big dough. You're the guy that the team needs right now. They need you most. You got to be willing to play hockey right now. You got to be willing to get in there and play. And then to come back against Florida on Tuesday night,
he gives up five goals on 15 shots. He gave up a goal. He gave up the first two shots. The
Panthers took what on the net. That was the hockey god's rhyme. Yeah, I and listen, there's going to be a lot of people. Oh, mental health. I'm not denying the fact that it can be an enormous struggle for guys. But fuck me, boys. Like, this is this is a team that is relying on you. You have your family in the locker room. Well, and he already got it. And he already got it. And it's not game 37 and he played two days later. You're in a playoff battle right now. And he biz you're right. He got the
break already. And now it's like, I mean, and the fans, and I don't play in the fans like they're disgusted. They're like, this isn't absolutely joke. All we've needed is a few saves. And then Omar found his game a little bit. And then something else comes up. And you're sitting there pretty much at not asking. Oh, but say, I can't go. Like, I've been in a locker room. You guys have as well. Judge me all you want. If you got a guy that your team needs and you find out before the
puck drop that he's like, no, I can't play. It is deflating. And it is really hard to deal with as a teammate because we're all laying it all on the line for you. And I'm sorry you're going through this stuff. But get in here, get it in the fight with us right now. And it's just been, I feel for Ottawa Senators fans. And I feel for the rest of the team. Yeah. Like, if you, I guess if you talk to Goleys of the past, they'd look at how much these Goleys are playing. And they'd fucking laugh
“them off stage. Right? I think I said something like that, Biz. You're right. Yeah, I think he's like the”
the mind, the mind is a lot weaker than the body. Like, it's just basically the the mind to help playing tricks on you. And obviously those types of guys were were able to overcome it.
I guess the back then, just the expectation was if you were a starter, you ha...
And you wanted the net, you know, 65, 70 games a year. If not even a little bit more, I bet your patty while I was playing in the 70 to 72 range most years. And the thing that I guess was the most surprising was, is he did get that break. And then he didn't play in the Olympics.
So then he had another, like, basically three, four weeks off there. And then if you look at the
schedule that led up to this game, March 31, it's like, there was only one situation. Like, all, all, all, all start in March 3rd when things kick that are, sorry, he played a February second right before the Olympic break. Then the 26th of February 28th, then March 3rd, March 5th, March 7th, March 11th, the 14th, and the 15th he played. So that was the only back to back that he's played since coming back from the Olympics. And every other time he's gotten either
two, if not three, and in some cases, four days off to play a game. And boys, they've been down a couple of D men too. And you got their D men basically going four to five guys playing, you know, 25 to 30 minutes a night. So it's hard in that situation to not be like, buddy, like, what is going
“on here? And unless there's something we don't know where maybe he had a tweet growing, I think”
if that, if that was the case, the team would have came out and said something and protected a
little bit more. But I would imagine that it's just, it's probably frustration from the coaching staff just being like, yeah, well, he needs a little bit of rest. And and that's where we're at. Travis Green's not going out there trying to like, I think it's, it's, it's obviously something where he's like, I can't play because Travis is like, oh, I wanted him to play basically, you know, and he's choosing not to. And then like, listen, you know, when goalie's grabbed the
water off the top of the net or in, you know, after a goal scored, and they can maybe make like different faces, but it almost looks like he's like smiling after the fifth goal. Yeah, I think it's probably just a frustration and just a brutal body language look that he's on a nerve. Exactly. So maybe, maybe like, like, it goes back to the mental health stuff. Like, you hope that guys are right. I know it's been a year from hell for him personally, and he probably wants
just this thing over with. But when you sign an 8 point, whatever, $5 million extension for four
years, and you're being paid like you're that guy. And if you go back to when he was with Boston, man, those guys are splitting the net, right? So they're not used to playing the 60 games, you even look at swam in this year. I think swam in just, I think he just hit the 50 game mark. So he's probably going to end up with 55 games max. So if that's the expectation of these new
“school goalies, and that's it, but I mean, Jesus Christ, man, eight, eight, that's what 8.5 gets it.”
Give me a fucking break. How do you like, could you imagine calling your dad and me like, hey, yeah, I just, I didn't have it tonight. I couldn't play. I didn't want it. Like he, he fucking, my dad drove a track that trailer for 30 years didn't have a day off. Oh, you're like fucking, he would have drove his truck to my game, punching in the phase and put me in the game. Like, you're getting paid all this money. You're getting paid to play in the best league in the world.
You get treated unbelievably. You need to show off your teammates, your fans, your coaches. There is no excuse. Like, if he's mentally, okay, like, obviously, maybe he was mentally drained. He didn't want to play. He thought he was too tired. But my thing is he played two days later, right, against Florida, started that game. There's no reason that he shouldn't have been playing. Yeah, I think it's, it's just the optics of it busy brought
up the injuries to the defenseman and then everybody doing whatever they can to try to get this team into the playoff. They get in last year. Let's do it again. Let's build something here. We have a good team and the goal is saying I can't play. So it's a wild soldier. Stoods on Brady went to the Olympics, too. They're playing, they're playing through the Olympics. And there's something even like they got the three weeks off. So that, that to me is what's mind boggling about all this. But we got
our guy, Boochie, ready to join boys. There's so much stuff we could chat about. Boochie races and he's ready to go right now. So bring it John Boochie, grass. Hello, boys. Boochie, Boochie, man, in the Kangel. I got my show of microphone. I'm a big dude. Hey, you're a big guy. You're a big timer now. What is going on, buddy? Why don't you tell us to start? Because you have, you have, you've got frozen for coming up. You're in the weeds on everything right now, hockey related.
But what's the storyline in the NHL right now? What playoff race, what division are you like, looking at most interested in? Yeah, we tend to kind of, you know, pay attention to that
“mushy middle so much or the actually the mushy bung hole. I don't know. What do you call it down?”
They're playing a job by the way. It's like, I like to kind of focus on the top. You're like, is Buffalo for real Tampa, Carolina could this be the year for Rod Brindamor? You know, they make the playoffs every year under him. They normally win a playoff series under him.
They're the best team in hockey.
And so I was in Columbus last night called the Bluejack and Hurricane game. And they got a lot of
“depth. Obviously, they don't have the stud up front. Their defense. Is it really the story Boochie?”
The same story. Yeah, same story. And Buffy was amazing last night, but, you know,
can they get that gold tending when those guys go see a shot every 20 minutes and suddenly here comes a great air. You're ready. And so that can sometimes be a tough way to play Goldie. So, yeah, curious about Carolina. And really, you know, it's all about the avalanche. If I had to bet a paycheck on who's going to win, it's hard to imagine them not winning the cup. I would be a gigantic disappointment if they don't. So to me, that's probably the avalanche and to me, it's
like, do or die. You just mentioned Carolina where you disappointed that they didn't go push for a second mind center. Stank Oven's been playing that role all year, which they love them there in Carolina. And anytime you criticize any other moves or lock their up, their fan base is like, rapid dogs, were you disappointed they didn't considering this year in the way it's shaken out, pushing more chips? Yeah, especially if Robert Thomas was really out there and a whole
“much he really was, that would have been the guy. I think really could have brought them up a notch.”
Yeah, Stank Oven, it's interesting. I didn't think he would make it all this season as their
second line center. Him and Blake together, though, you know, they're a fun watch that get your
face, especially Blake that guy is sneaky. Yeah, he's got some rat in him. Oh, a lot of rat in him. And he had a good skate trip last night of Charlie Coil coming out of the zone and I went to the box. So, you know, they'll compete and they'll go hard, but I just wonder, especially, you know, Buffalo is the heavy team now. People don't realize up Buffalo. It kind of strangely evolved into this big kind of heavy team. And like that would be a hard match up if they get there. Tampa,
that might be a little bit more of Carolina's jam. I actually think that's a better match up for them, just from a size perspective. Does Buffalo scare you a little bit with the gold tending? I know they've been, they've looked great this year. Like you said, they're big, they're fast, they've been playing awesome. They're the, the Cinderella story, the league, but the gold
“tending for me going into the playoffs is the only thing that scares me a bit. But they have Alex”
Lyon. I know we don't have Alex. Yeah, I get you into the playoffs. Get you in and then ball over, you know. You know, the, you know, Lyon saved. He saved the panthers. He's in the couple of number one against the Bruins. For Bob got reset. That was, I was quite a, but you're right. It's a little scary. You know, they've given up to 121 goals. So they have to score. But, you know, that's, that was a cool way they won last night. You know, it's a tight, low scoring game. And I
let Krebs is really evolved into a good player. He's just really a character guy, kind of a culture guy. Then they brought Done in as well. And, and they really kind of, they're a good kind of foundation of, of nastiness, underneath the tages Thompson, you know, glitz and glamour and doleying. So, you know, in the end, that I could trade has turned out not terrible in the end. Especially if they ever got a cup right now. Obviously, Jack has the cup. So that, that obviously
biggest wins that trade until maybe Buffalo can get it all square. But, you know, talking Krebs have turned out to be key guys. Krebs played a lot of the top line this year. I don't think he's really a top line guy per se. But he can go up and down fights, guys. He's like, I like that dude.
I like him too. And, and talking about doing the Columbus game last night. So, it's been an incredible
story. Bones comes in. They go on this run. Then Sunday, they lose a three-nothing lead at home to the Bruins. Like kind of like, oh, hopefully that's a one-off. But he had some quotes after that there's some guys in our team that got to learn how to play in these big games. And, they're not really there yet. And then they lose last night at home again. I still believe they're going to get in. I've root for that team based on their fan base and how passionate they are with
the lack of playoff success. But, are you worried at all? What do you think about what he's saying about some of the young guys in the team? And my final thing for them is, Bentley's like, he's had a solid year. But I think coming in, it was like, this kid's going to be, he could be a superstar in the league. You still see that as a possibility with him being so young. I don't know, super star. I think he's going to be a goal score. Like, that's shot last night.
Was, yep, growth. My goodness. Can he powder the puck? And he's played with Marcinco all year. He should have more goals. Marcinco is a star. Like, that dude is so good. He's the best player by far. Like, when you sit up high as you guys know at a game, you can just tell. Best forward boot player. Best forward. Yeah. Best forward, right? Best forward, right? And Lorenzki. And I think Lorenzki is almost spent. I think the guy's out of gas. You guys know, you've been there.
I know at the high school level. You show up like, I don't got it. I come. I am done. Well, you can just take a night off nowadays in the NFL. You don't. You know, it's, uh, I just really think he's having a hard time now. He has, he's not scoring goals, which they kind of need in the score goals. And he's only got one. One, I think since the Olympic break, um, but you know, Marcinco was very good last night. He could have had a hat trick. But yeah, I think Fantilly. I just
Don't know if he's going to get to that superstar.
He has an RFA. Like, what's his play? You know, does the Blue Jackets kind of tempt him with a
“matte bouldie seven times seven? And then, you know, hope he becomes a 12 million dollar player. Like,”
matte bouldie is now or do they kind of go, let's go two or three. Let's go three times something. Maybe his side same thing. Like, well, let's go two or three. But I don't know. I just wonder if he has the the elite maybe hockey sense to make others better. I wonder if he's just a really goal scoring phenop. But he's a ball. He's a great kid. He's slowly getting better. So maybe, you know, when he's 26 27 28, he's going to turn into this 50 goal 30 assists point
per game guy. But he hasn't quite shown you. He's a point per game guy. But he's playing with good teammates. And again, he's 21. I keep forgetting his to work because he looks 30. When he looked 31, he used a Michigan, you know, as a freshman, he's already got the full beard, you know, and he's a full grown man. So maybe when he maybe we need to give him time and he will turn into be a 90 point 40 to 50 goal absolute wagon of a forward. Um, were you, did you have a chance
to watch him? I think live you were there and you did the cannon earlier in the year.
“Yeah, did. I think I remember that actually, Rensky's dad did it the other day as well.”
No. Have you noticed the difference in fantasy big time since bones took over? And if not just him, like, other guys as well or no. Yeah, not like I said, he's just his goal total is down this year. You know, he had 31 last year. And, uh, and he missed time. You know, this year he has it missed a
game. And I think, you know, at first he was probably trying to figure out what bones wanted
defensively because obviously they had a tight knit up. I mean, they blew the third period lead against the sharks on Saturday, blew the three not to lead to the Bruins on Sunday. I mean, that's the story of their season. They win those two games, which they should have. They're probably in because now the Bruins are in and the Canadians are in. So now it's just those five sixteen, sort of the capitals now all the sudden. I mean, when the rest of their games, they might
sneak in. So it's it's so strange down there at the bottom. And, um, you know, between the auto way, which you guys were just talking about before I popped on, the Bruins are fine there in, but the islanders last night again, tough one. And now in other blue jackets, I don't know, can someone reset here in these last six, seven games and boom, win five of six, four of six.
Because that's if you do that, you're going to make it. You said it, like Washington was kind of like
dead to write. And then they trade Carlson. And even looking at the remaining games and the schedule, it's a very win-able schedule. Like, I wouldn't be shocked that they only lost one
“more game to close out the year. Like, can we pull up who they got left boys? I think they have,”
like, I think they have Toronto. Yeah, I think right here. Yeah, they're seven, they're seven to favor in their last, they're in their one point behind the flyer senators and red wings. And that's on their one point behind. And I know they play more games. Um, and there are only three points behind the blue jackets. So that was a big night last night for Washington. All these taken these own draws all of a sudden. He had two. He's now, I think set the NHL record for 20 consecutive
30 goal seasons with a late push. He said seven goals in the last seven games and definitely sparked in that game against Utah when he had two defenses on draws to break that. That might, that might get them in the playoffs. The defense is on face. So it's very new. Harbor renew. Boochie. Let's talk quickly in mushy middle. You're talking about these teams. But Detroit, base sent a stat this morning. Uh, their numbers in March over the last three seasons. It's
actually, you can't even wrap your head around because it doesn't make sense. And this year, the way they looked like they're in trouble now based on how it's going. I mean, they get drummed last night by the penguins. And they're getting drummed in games lately that are like, you know, they're all must win games. What do you see in there? Yeah, there it is right there. There's their March record last four years. It's about 35. 35 and five. Yeah, I'm obviously the
Larkin injury hurt them a lot. You know, they did, again, they're kind of like, um, you know, they kind of don't have that big time guy almost like Caroline as well. You know, Larkin and Ahoha probably pretty comparable. Oh, Larkin, you know, I might take him a hair over Ahoha a little bit. Ahoha's going to have a career high in assist this year. So a special coffee's close to his career high. Ealers is having a career year. More points is just the goal. He might not get
the 30s. He could get there, but he's having a career year in points in assist. So, uh, so yeah, so Detroit, they're kind of similar that way, uh, to Carolina, you know, the goalies don't really have a guy, um, their defense is good. Obviously side are kind of blossomed this year, Edvinson's common, um, but he's not there every night. And then obviously, they made them over the deadline. But after that, it's not a press of decor in front of up and down goalies without
a great start. You know, Gibson was saving them. They come down to earth. So yeah, it's just not a team. It's just not quite a strong enough team that we're, hey, we're top five in the conference. So they're going to, they're going to hang around there. I thought I've got them out for a while now. I just don't think there's enough gas there left. It just doesn't seem. And now it's strange because they definitely have assets. They definitely, you know, they did, they got unlucky with some of their lottery ball
Situations.
prisoner to that. You know, the sharks win the lottery in their celebrity. And everybody's going to be rich in that franchise for 15 more years. You know, the GM's getting three, four contracts, the coach getting three, four, all because of that guy, right? But he's got to do that lottery ball. It's like, the guy's got to be, and then the guy's got to be there, right? And just like the Islanders, they go from what? 10 to one. And then Shafers there. Everybody's going to be rich. Everybody's
getting a raise. You know, and, and so unfortunately for Detroit, that just didn't happen. And now they're trying to, how can we get the guy and how could we get a couple guys at this point, right? And maybe
one of them is going to come out of nowhere when, when these second or third rounders in the,
you know, that they just drafted the last three years. Like, you know, here comes a braiding point or a Brad Marshand or a Patrice Berger on these non-first rounders that's suddenly blossomed
“the Hall of Famers. That's what they're going to need now. Just like Ottawa, the fans are revolting a”
little bit. They're, we want Steve Y. God, there's one talk radio guy talking about stripping the sea from work. And so they're off the rails. Now, I don't dig. Have you heard any rumblings that got, that you talked to anyone if, if Detroit were to fizzle out again for the fourth year in a row in March, what, what is the consequence, or do you think that because Steve, it's Steve Y, he has Alicia as long as you can, you can see. I was, I can't imagine the Alicia's ever departing from
him, you know, I think the let him make that decision whether it's one of those move up and let or offer or drapes come in and maybe just, you know, tweak a little bit. But because I think they're in a decent shape right now, it's just that next move, what's that next move? You know, and again, I think these next couple of years people are going to become available, like, you know, taking inventory of their careers, you know, whether it's Matthews, whether it's McDavid,
just looking around them. Okay, here I'm 30 now. Damn, what happened to Mike 20s? And, uh,
I got to try to figure something out. And so there's, oh, those guys always become available. Like,
when he was dead and, you know, Jack, I go dead. Everyone's in a while, that personal pop-up, and you got to be ready to, to the pound. And for whatever reason, Stevie just hasn't wanted to really, you know, unload some of those guys in the American League that maybe could get a pretty good player. And but maybe his argument is, you know, that's just not, and he might be right. We don't know. That, that's too much for that guy. That guy won't be a difference maker. They pay me to make
this decision. That guy's not quite the guy. And so, you know, but I think it will be up to him. Fans, you're a question directly. I think it's his call. But like the last, you know, we just saw the stats of the last few marches. And last year, Stevie, why I said, uh, you know, basically,
“I don't think our team was there yet to make the next step. That's why they didn't make any”
trades this year. They didn't really do too much even though they had been playing well this season. Does it come on him where it's like, hey, you got to go out and get some, some guys to help your team latent in the, in the season to get this push going. Because clearly, there's something going on in March. And whether it's, you know, after the deadline where the players are pissed off not playing well or, you know, they got a retool and get some, but he hasn't done that.
No, it's, to little surprise. He's a very patient in that regard. And yeah, I don't know if anybody in that organization. I'm sure they've had some good meetings with everybody in a room. And and maybe they're pushing him a little bit to be aggressive. And in this guy and Grand Rapids and Mac guy, maybe he can get that guy. But yeah, I mean, he's a, he's a, as you know, he's a prideful guy. And I'm sure he grinds over it all the time. He can be a Debbie down or sometimes, you know,
look at that as team. And, you know, whoa, is awesome. We can't score. And so, but he's such a hyper competitor. But yeah, that's, it's an interesting situation. I can't imagine in that organization who goes to him to, hey, be more aggressive. Make a big move. I'm sure he's trying to win. He's trying to get good players. He's done it for a long time. You know, in Tampa,
he's very qualified for the job. He's always wanted it. He's, was a player. I remember having him
on any shelf tonight. And he would join us. I'm like, this guy's going to be, like, this guy is a kind of guy that goes to Denny's at 2 a.m. and writes the Olympic roster on a place map. Like, who's making the Olympic roster, boys? Like, he's doing that as a player, the legend, DVY. So you knew he was going to be a GM and he lives for this. So, but it's a long time. And at some point, maybe it takes a tweak, you know, Buffalo, you know, a different situation with their GM.
But what happened there? How it changed? Everybody got a big chest all the sudden for whatever reason when they changed the GM. They just felt better about everything. I don't know if Detroit, if they need just whether it's a big move or like I said, if he moved up, someone came in and boom, they just unloaded all these prospects and got this huge player with that then ignite the rest of the roster and the team and give them kind of that Buffalo chest, the Buffalo got this year.
“You know, maybe the, maybe that's what DVY needs to think about. Maybe it's not so much”
winning a trade, perhaps, is I need to do something gigantic. Because then the rest of the team will get better. Because in the end, that's what you want. You want everybody to get a little bit better. That's how you win. You know, one guy doesn't win a game when he leaves the team or one guy
When he comes on the team.
and the team needs, larking on down, side or all those guys. Because when you're fighting every night, like, is the guy behind me? I don't mean that literally, but we need some help here. We know we need
“help. And if that happened, then I think everybody would get better. So we could have a size”
make effect if this summer's TDY decides, I'm going to hit him. I'm swinging from the heels and I'm going for the Sith Go sign. What says that McDavid's going there? So I don't know
what's going on there. Never, never said that. Never. He's trying to, that was a, he's trying to
battle me right now. But I, I wanted to ask about one team in the East All, okay? Go ahead. Because we just, we covered basically everyone, everyone keeps saying, I might be a little bit a lock involved. Once they're going to die off, the Pittsburgh Penguins. They're fifth and league for goals for who the hell would have seen that. I think somebody put a list out of guys, including Brazil. How many goals they've gotten with $7 million? I have that tweak is. What I'm going to read
it to you. Yeah. Read it out. So map that has 30. Kindle as 17. Brazil has 17. China called China called. I think he's got 15. He might have more now. That's 79 goals brought in by Dubes at a combined 7 million plus he dumped Jari on the bench for the Dubes stock so is his stock. You called, you called a China called a while ago. Like you've, you've, you've had your eyes
“and remember to tweet about him. I think you just like his name. Turn your head and”
chin to cough. Turn your head and chin to cough. Yeah. That's what I just like. But no, he's it. He was fast. Could shoot. I called his games last couple years. There were moments of just absolute, you know, you could see it. You could see it. And when he got traded, I could see him getting 30 goals like for that team. I think his rates 35 right now with the penguins. You know, if you just pro-rated out, but they get the fifth most goals in the league, Dan muses so far in the way
the coach of the year to me. It's not even close at this point. Good for now. I always say,
every team that makes a playoffs. There's probably an argument for the coach to win coach of the year. Everyone has a different story, you know, to be coach of the year. But that one is so obvious at the beginning of the year. How fast they look with the puck since game one Carlson is at a different level. That someone like a 40-year-old malkin can have a really good year, point per year. And an 18-year-old Kindle can have a comfortable year. And a guy like Carlson reclamation can have a
great year. And a guy like Mantha's getting 30, not Mo Mantha, penguins fans. It's Anthony Mantha. I thought he was out of the league at one point. He was like, it's good. It was to me. What then? Old Mantha was my coach, junior. Did you know, Boots that in a game in the NHL, he used to tie his skates so loose that he was rounding the net and it got caught and his boot fell off
“in an NHL game. He used to tie his son. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Wow. That's what he said.”
Does anybody still not wear socks like Bobby Ordid? Does anybody in the league not wear socks, you guys know? There's some guys who wear the Bunga pads for their ankle part and then nothing on their toes. Really? Okay. I think Eckblad's no socks. Okay. If I can remember correctly, I might be wrong though. A good story idea for C. Young Journalist out there. Boots, I agree. So, I actually got stalled it by Buffalo Sabers fans online because we had them on the broadcast.
And I had my top three as John Cooper. I had news and then, and then, uh, red bonus at the time. Now, they've obviously lost a funeral. Who are your top three for coach of the year as we speak? He only got one. Yes. No, I know, but I want to hear who is other, guys on the ballot would be. I think first, the guys we've really made the most impact for me culturally. And as you can see on the ice is Muse, Marco, Storm, and Bosnia, and another guy.
What he's done, they did not expect to be this good. You know, again, guys like Rooster Dinoff with 16 goals and, you know, up and down the lineup. And, um, and, uh, those of Timmy are the two big ones.
Then you can go, you go Lindy. You go, go Cooper because he's never one one.
You could go Lindy Roth, uh, because again, they're having an amazing year. Um, again, Rod Brynmore, it's the same thing every year. They get 100 points every year, you know, um, so in terms of a regular season coach in Joel Quinnville, you know, if they win the division, that's pretty cool. What Anaheim is done. You know, that's the third longest drought after Redwing Sabers is the docs. So, like, they're in that kind of, they're in that group. So,
again, to step in there again, but all kinds of talents. So, but I do think it's I do think it's, it's firm and muse or kind of at a different level than everybody else with their team. So, the reason I got coups, people seem to think my, like, top and argument is all because he's never one up before. You look at man games loss. And I think Buffalo is actually ahead of them. But if you look at the significance of guys, they lost the man games, they lost Sirelli. Fair point.
Those are the goals and goals, they're whole decor. Um, and right now Buffalo with one more game played is two points ahead of them. If Tampa Bay wins the hardest division in hockey, and the biggest thing to is, you, you see these, like, 10-year coaches, look at, uh, capacity after four years,
Like, how much you wore on players?
years from hell. The fuck, they, they won it when the guy was having a miserable time for you,
for you to be in a room that long and your voice to still have that much impact and carry so much weight. To me, that is, is part of the criteria. It's like, you're motivating these guys just like you talked about mues and sturm and powering these kind of these known name guys who we had no clue about all the sudden they're getting 20, 25 goals a year. To me, that's an element of coaching is empowering
“these players. So that's why I had coupe in my top three and no offense to Lindy Roth. I just, when you're,”
when your GM can't even, you can't even confirm that you're going to be the coach in the next year. And he had to come in and fucking base to give everybody a ppwack to let their ass on fire. I viewed those other three guys as more important pieces, including sturm, like you said. Yeah, I mean, coupe had the goalie and those guys don't have the goalie, the hall of fame. So
likely he's been there all year, but you're right, guys are in and out. He should win one.
But also, if I have another vote this year, I had for about last four, enough for coach of the year, but for all the other ones MVP, Norris Rookie. I'm counting the the gold medal game in my voting. That, that's Gucci's rule. That counts. So if it's close, Zapper Winsky wins the Norris, because he made that play. That counts. That's a weighted vote. Okay, all right. Canadian Canadians are going to love here in this coupe win that goal medal. Maybe he's my coach
of the year, but I'm not sure now. I do that as more of a distraction. He had to worry about doing all that. And then, and then on top, their course, he was unbelievable in that game. I don't know if you're an advanced analytics guy. Tampa lately. I don't know if you've noticed that one of the best big game players in the league is, is just catching fire and getting so like this guy right now. He's just, you know, when you're just rounded to form right before the playoffs and it kind of leads me
before I get West, I do want to bring up right now. It would be Tampa Montreal. Quickly, we chatted Montreal and Keith Kelly saying he didn't know they had a team this year. And what
they've done is incredible. They've won six in a row right now. They're beaten good teams. They're
winning games on the road. Koffield could end up winning the rocket Rashard. Do you see them as a legitimate threat? Or is it one of those things that the Canadians haters are saying that all Tampa will drum them round one? I don't think anybody's drumming anybody except the avalanche. You know, the avalanche rule. I'm they're going to sweep their first round, you know, maybe five. I hope celebrating guests at eight spots. That would be so fun to have it say in that.
That's a good one for us in the, you know, TV business to obviously market and promote for those later games at night, those double headers. That would add that would add little pizzazz out west to the playoff situation. But otherwise, yeah, I don't think it's a pushover. Anybody's a pushover. You know, Montreal, obviously they can score. They have big time. You know, Koffield is such an electric player. He's a big time, big moment player. It is different in the playoff. So for sure,
in Tampa does have the recipe. And I go back to that Tampa Buffalo game, you know, with all the fights and stuff that was so much fun watching. Then you guys were on it and it was just a great, a great viral X moment. That's, you know, it was built for Twitter or game like that because people got on board. They didn't know it was happy. I was on there from the start. It was Sunday. It was six o'clock. Start like, oh, fruit. I watched this game. And then all of a sudden, you could feel
the whole sports world coming on to the game. It was so fun. That's the great thing about about Twitter,
“X. So, um, and so I think Tampa Bay did that. It did done a couple times this year. You know,”
they're the number one pelting minute team by far. Like it's not even close. They're well over a thousand. They have twice as many as a lot of teams. Um, and I do, because I think they realize since they lost that cup finals to Colorado and they haven't won a playoff series since that they need to start getting back to that kind of nasty dirty hockey. And that way, it's back there, I think. Yep, for sure. And so, you know, it would be tough on Montreal.
Uh, and I think Tampa is going to get that. I think they're going to somehow squeeze out that top spot. And, uh, you know, right now they're point the percentage ahead of Buffalo, I believe, because they played one less game. And, uh, they have, although they're right, they're, they're almost identical. It really is something. And Tampa Bay is good at home and the road 23 wins each. And again, not also actually goes to business, you know, argument in terms of being good on the road at home.
That's sometimes coaching to that sometimes a coaching stat when you're a good team on the road and dealing with matchups. And how could I say one step ahead? And, uh, and that's probably a lot of fun for a coach like Koop is the fear that stuff out on the road. Actually, I lied. I got one more question about an Eastern conference team. We haven't talked about
“the Philadelphia Flyers. Another team at Pennsylvania. It's busy muted. Oh, no, can you not hear him?”
I can't. I can hear you. Bitch, just leave and come back. Leave and come back. He's heard that a few times in his life. Oh, yeah. Just, just leave and come back. Just leave and come back. I, I guess we can go right into what Biz just mentioned in the flyers, right? Like that. I very should hear your meets call of thoughts, but Porter Martin comes in your big college hockey guy.
He makes an immediate impact in his first game.
But what do you see on that team? Do you think they have a chance to get the frustration in the
anger of the fans about meets call of an anyone who ever criticizes any part of his game? Like give us your whole breakdown of Philly. Yeah. Well, I'm, I'm actually a fan of meets call of again, turn your head and meet call of another one. You know, those are, those are my guys. But, you know, early on, I thought he had kind of that Capriz off, you know, Jean in terms of not a fast player, blows the game down, can think the game will make other players better, can make an elite,
you know, pocky sense play and pass. Probably doesn't quite have the shot. Capriz off
“has, that's what's amazing about him is he's a finisher, like Kutcher off, again,”
those guys who play at their own pace, and I think McKenna will be that kind of player too, who plays a slower pace, but has this rocket of a shot that can finish. And that takes them to
that other level. I don't know if meets call of going to be scoring off balance 40 foot,
one timers from his knee in the upper corner, like, you know, that's that those guys do, and that fan till he did last night, that kind of shot. But I do think, and remember when Capriz talking over his 23 years old, right, this kid's 18 culturally, probably wasn't quite managed correctly on his side on, you know, immersing himself in the professional game, and the talent wasn't quite enough, and would end his surroundings, maybe, and then
that might not be his fault, just the collection of guys, like, a lot has to go into it right for things to work out quickly, and all of our lives, any job, like, as, you know, just kind of falls in the place, kind of, like, checklist, just fell in the place, right? Now, you guys are going, anybody who comes in with a line change, they just pick it up because the culture is strong, and the team is good, and that's kind of like, right, and the flyers weren't that, you know,
they were, you know, and so that's part of it for him, but just, but I think there's enough there that it will turn out to be good. It's just not, it's, it's a slow start. Now, I could be off, and maybe if you're good, you're good, and if it should have happened, it should have happened by now, um, but, you know, towards and talk it or two guys who aren't going to take your, aren't going to take your shit, and although Rick has been so good on the bench, I love that video
already this year when he's trying to, he's trying to make peace with Mitch Koff on the bench, when he's losing it, remember, and talk is coming over, that good body language, he's, I know, because Rick, as you know, is an elite people person. That's the thing people don't realize about Rick talk it. He is an absolute, right in the, like, that Cooper range of just, like, of connecting with people and owning a room and owning the space and kind of, like, you know,
almost charming you with him connecting with you. Like, he's, he's really good at that, and that's why he's, I think he's such a good coach. And so in the end, it might be talk, and then the, the better players coming in and create some sort of culture of competition, right, or in your lifetime. You know, when there's not, there's, there's teammates that you don't respect, I don't mean any human sense, but like, in a talent sense, he's looking around like,
well, I'm better in these guys. I know I better than him. There's no one better than me. We do that around jobs sometimes, and to try to, okay, I can, I can move up this organization. Now that the good players are coming in, maybe he'll realize, oh, he's, he's good. I got to get a little better and then he'll motivate himself, have more self, self motivation to improve himself, and all
“areas of his game, because that's, as you know, as the professional, that's what you got to do.”
You got to have that dedication, like, but guard went home last summer and got faster. I can't, what I can't wait to see what he's better at next year, because that's the guy who's just going to keep going like this, because every summer, Celebrini, Crosby, McDavid, those kinds of guys, that's those are the ones who do that. And I can't wait to see what Berdard does like he did last summer, and that's what Meechkov has to do. He's going to take inventory and say, where am I going
to get better and then do that? Let me ask you about Martin then, because you've seen him and like, you know, high pick, big kid, like, what do you see his future as if everything works out as the
flyer's plan? He needs to turn into the third Kachak. Like, that should be his whole mind.
Okay. He's got skill. He's got size. His teammates love him. He learned how to train and beat himself in Michigan State. He's, like I said, his teammates love him, and he just needs to go in there with attitude and become a Kachak and he will own that city. I mean, he will own that city.
“He can shoot it. He got size. So he's, that's what I would do if I were him. I would look at film.”
I would, I would call Brady and Matthew and hang out with them. And they're dad and just talk hockey, you know, go to St. Louis and, you know, when it gets too hot in Naples and, you know, when they're all heading to Missouri, all the contracts, I would go to St. Louis and I would hang out. I would like literally do that for him. And they'll do it. They'll bring him, hey, man, I want to meet you guys. I want to hang out. I'll get a hotel and St. Louis will go play golf. We'll go to, you'll have a, you know,
cook out. We'll hear walk on the grill and just tell stories and talk about hockey. Have a few Nick Altra's wanting to do one of them. Yeah. And just talk hockey. Love that. That's what I would do. I'm poured a more tone. Take out. You know, there's, the copy and people is a good way for all of us. Whatever job we have, identify a person and say, I'm going to, I'm going to mimic them because
You'll, you'll always be yourself in the end.
is going to be mostly you. But if you identify someone, you know, I can copy him. I can't copy them.
“I'm not that. But I'm that. I can be, I can do that. And that's what I would do if I'm him.”
You mentioned torts. And you've had the chance to work with them in the studio at ESPN. And this thing comes out of nowhere, the Cassidy firing, court tiring. They get a first, first game went from the beat Vancouver like they had to get that. But what do you see going in? What did you learn about him that maybe you didn't know while, while working with them covering games? And do you think that he can get that team figured out going a little bit of a run? He's, he's, he's the
power of personality. He's the funds, you know, he's Arthur funds are Ellie. He looked like a man. He was younger. And he walks in a room. He's got energy. He's got discipline. I remember this year, I was, I was going, you work late night ESPN. And these double headers and biz, you know, it's ENT. You get bored. So you just start eating crap. You go down the vetty machine. And I'm, I'm getting nutter butters and Oreos and, you know, and, oh, how, yeah, I'll have this, I'll have this
red bowl and midnight. This will, this will do my heart great. And so, but he, he always try to cut
himself off, kind of, I'm, I'm fine. You want something towards? No, no, no, you know, he wants something. But he does. Yeah. That then we go back and we're sitting and watching the games and I got my nutter butters. I go, for it's just one. Just, okay, just one. He hasn't nutter butter. But that's it. So like he's 67, he's turned 68 this summer. But he has this still has that discipline that this is important and he still has energy gets up early. He's got the horses and the dogs on the farm
down in Florida. All those rescue horses and dogs that he and his wife take care of. He's up early. Doing that work. Maybe you got kicked in the eye by the horse when he was coming in the flyers or
“something. That's what I thought happened to chief. Yes. So, uh, but I think, you know, in, they're under”
line numbers are good. But yeah, you mentioned the connox. They got the flames tonight. They had two days of practice. Nothing got the flames tonight. Now they go on a four-game road trip out west, right? Edmonton Vancouver, Seattle, Colorado. Now you can kind of get together with the team and do that. As you know that on the road trip, that's when that happens. Uh, you had two, plus after the Edmonton game, they could fly at the Vancouver that night have two days of practice before they play the
connox. And then come back home for two more. And now, okay, give me three weeks. It's like a training camp mindset to get the guys ready to go, to get them, playing together and just to reset them. You know, because again, that they are who they are. And let's face it. This is more of a better in team. Remember, Torz had, at the end of Columbus, they were going to rebuild, right? I don't want to be part of this. Ghost of Philly suddenly becomes a rebuild. You know, it's just
didn't, it didn't work out. Um, and so they realized, okay, we got a pivot here. And we got to start drafting and getting some young prospects. We just don't have them. And so again, that's not the best fit for Torz. This team is actually a better fit. I think for him. And I think he learned with his assistant coach role with four nations and the Olympics that I got to, I got to ease up a little bit. He said that to me last night when I interviewed him between periods of the game, he goes,
yeah, I need to change a little bit. No, that was a, it was, it was a subtle line, but to me, it's it was like a trumpet on top of a mountain screaming like, hey, I admit it, I got to ease up a little bit here. I can't talk to these guys like I might talk to, you know, someone a young player on the flyers, uh, you know, trying to get them going. So it's, to me, it's just an organ of given three weeks. Give a Torz three week training camp that just as they entered that opening
series, uh, against Ebenton, which I think the doctoral hang on to that division, um, but whether it's the Docks or Edmonton that they're ready and prepared to win a seven game series, you know, as much as possible. And I think that's what this is. A three week Torz training camp, uh, to get them ready for the playoffs. Yeah, I think we said the same thing. It's almost like he's got to kind of bring the teaching as much as he does the pom-poms and just be tire pumping the
guys and and kind of make it like a tournament setting. You know, in those types of tournaments,
“that's how you have to approach it because if you lose the room, it's like tournament over, right?”
So over, losing to in barbecue. That's the old flop. You'll slow pitch softball tournament weekend life. Lose to in barbecue. Double elimination tournament. Not the, yeah, not the worst thing. Uh, that's, that's, that's, that's low pitch. Um, since we've been asked you with these teams over and over, what's your thoughts on the one through eight, uh, versus what they got going right now, or you frustrated with that, like everybody else? No, I don't care. You know, whatever that, whatever they want
to do, I'll watch. Now, I'm going to watch anyway. Um, you know, yeah, it's not real fair for Minnesota
and Dallas, maybe in the first round, uh, but Minnesota hasn't looked like world beaters the last
months. Maybe you just play better and then win and so, um, you know, it's, uh, yeah, so I just, I, I like the one eight better. It just, it's easier to figure out and look into me just, you know, my brain is just easier to go one eight two fifth and then look at our division wild card and it goes here. So, but to me, I really don't care. I, uh, on some things, I just who's not to have an opinion on and get upset. And that's one of them. I'm going to watch either way. I got to ask about my squad
Because, uh, Edmonton's out there, um, won their fourth and a roll for the fi...
It took 75 games to get four and a roll. I still believe in this team. It's obviously, uh,
to get Vegas first round. And then, I think they're more likely to win the second round than
they are the first round based on Anaheim, it's a Utah maybe, but sure. After that, do you think that they can do this again? Or are you just, if they play Colorado or Dallas, um, are they in one?
“Yeah. That's how, and that's what I see it as is, yeah, they're playing their best now and, you know,”
once, once Connor had the, the pillow, the pillow fight line and then the, the, the, the 10 dozen flowers he sent John Cooper in that one news from, uh, home, my goodness. You got to ask. He's going to ask, no, I'll be about that when I was playing. Yeah, but did you see, did you see the clip of it though? Yeah, like his body language is nowhere near of how bad the quote was. But you're looking to be a certain way. You're not changing your expression. I want the quote. I didn't read it. I
watched them, you know, and, uh, it was just those two combined. I kind of, he's like, all right, I, I, I really challenge myself. I better get open here. Somebody tweeted out, uh, a mine fuck would be if Edmonton would have gas and all block and, uh, and hired Butch Cassidy. That would have been a bit of a mine fuck torpedo right there. And then, uh, I wouldn't, yeah, I wouldn't roll it out yet.
You never know. Bruce, he's great coach. He'll be in the league next year. He'll be right back
that guy is an absolute great practitioner and as a stretch, a strategic type coach. He'll be,
“in fact, I like him in Columbus. I think Columbus because I don't, bonus is bonus is going back to”
that boat. He ain't spending a winter in Columbus. Let me tell you that. I think he sees this team now is okay. We're good. And they still might get in. But going forward, I don't think, you know, he sees them as an elite team anytime soon. So he's going to be like the guys who get the go over to Russia and miss training camp. He might just, he might be the new repairman bonus, he'll hang on with it. January every year. Do it. Yeah, be unreal. Just a temp. Yeah, I'm just a temp. You know,
it meant to go with the same with torches. You know, hey, it's a two week contract and although I'm sure it's got a big check. He wasn't doing for some pro-rated two week paycheck. What do you think he got?
Million bucks. Right. Oh, wow. I would look forward. That's a good number, right? Yeah, yeah.
And, and by the way, if towards, if they, he's not coming for $67,000 or $80,000. We're going to give you a free room. We're going to put you in old Vegas. He's not taking a pay cut. I'm sure he's not here. And we'll see is pretty good. He's not taking a pay cut to go coach Vegas. You know, because he sacrificed our money. Yeah. Offset. Although, Vegas gets the offset, right? Whatever. I don't know how, how that coaching money, TV, money, offset thing worked, right? Yeah, you cover the
rest. He's got to wear a headset the whole day. He and T pay and talk its salary and fillies. Is that, is that how that worked? I don't know. Oh, I think I think they're trippin' in. Yeah. Yeah, him and Wayne. T and T and Wayne. Boochie going back to Edmonton. And, you know, there's been some questions about Leon when he's going to come back if he's going to be back for first round. It was kind of in the gray area his quotes, right? Have you heard anything on him and do you expect him to
be back for first round? Well, you go to Germany and get some of that blood plasma and those vitamins. You're going to come back. He's going to come back probably six, six, two, 50. The old vets are like the old V trips to Russia. Yeah. Yeah. Just ever since home, he got on that camel with Dubai. He hasn't stopped scoring goals at age 40. So, maybe, yeah, maybe Leon got on a camel as well. Maybe he went to Dubai, but have not heard the no whisper. So, I think everyone
just kind of maybe just, hey, take, you know, take the month, whether it's a maybe, obviously it's something that probably needs surgery, right, whatever it is. I don't know. Maybe he had this, so if it's an MCL, was it a tear? I don't know. Something, but whatever it happened to crot, maybe he says going to have this still have offseason surgery. I don't know, or maybe it's all healed up, but I don't know about Leon. You have not heard, but it's that Edmonton. There's
nothing like that team. They just, like, kind of like biz, turn it off and come back, you know,
“saints, that's what they do. They're like biz with the microphone and back when he was a player at”
wheeling. I think a lot of the people would hope I, I just didn't come back. Get out. Get out of the comeback. Just get out and come back. Booshy again, another Edmonton question. You think if Boosh didn't have that 10 game stretch that he had this year, that it was Lafalt loud, funny hockey, that he would be. And it started the year, too. It was the beginning of the year. But Cardi Boosh. Like, do you think he'd be the free hit be the front runner for the Norris right now?
I don't know if it'd be the front runner because, you know, it is such a stigma the poor guy has, especially when, you know, Ferraro absolutely deep fried him on national television, that game on the island. Oh, that was good. Oh, that was good. I learned the old air fryer. Just cover, Chris, go all over him and shove him in the air fryer. That's when Ferraro did the Booshard. But no, I, I had him on my Olympic team every time we did little rosters, um, you know,
me Frank Frank Seravali on our little stream cast. It was like, why isn't this guy on the team? He's
Clearly a right-handed shot playoff guy who can absolutely, you know, magicia...
you know, but off to that, that shows you what team Canada felt about it. That's the stigma that he
“has that team Canada. If they can have him on the roster over, you know, Colton Paraco has zero goals”
entering the Olympics. You know, zero. Well, I, I do want to say like echo him talking about Pooshard. Great. This is a teammate. But I watched the oiler's games. He says he's an unbelievable hockey player. He's taken steps every year. I don't think anyone should disagree. He's a top five defenseman in the NHL. He has a complete game. It's not just his shot. It's his breakout passes. He plays in the PK. He finds guys in stride with perfect passes out of the zone. He defensively
is way better than people think. It's just like you said, the occasional clip where you're like, oh my god, he's picked up on the pink Whitney. Exactly. And, you know what, you know who he is. He's just kind of dawned on me. He's famed Arnold. Right. Like Booshard is famed amazingly talented.
You know, big high first pick of the draft goes to these places has these moments that are just
because everyone makes mistakes. McCarrarch gets beaten a lot defensively. He's out there a lot. You're going to get beaten. Where is he got beat last night? A couple dice is going to happen. It's hockey. It's hard. Like a corner back. You know, it's a plain defense and playing corner back. It's impossible. I don't know how they do it. How do you possibly defend going backwards when you don't know what the other guy's going to do at a high speed. So, but like Sam Darnell,
you know, he just kept showing up and then eventually he finds the right coach, the finds are right placed in now. Here he is a suitable champion. So, he's got a little Darnell in and more his mistakes. Like he's better just though, theatrically bad and entertaining. But yeah, no, I'm going to have to, again, I've got the Norris trophy vote. So, I need to go in and dig deep. And after that
first month, which was a disaster, with a big kick in a big finish and they get in and maybe even
if they win the division, he's going to be, he's a big part of why. And him and, you know, he am a David. So, yeah, I, I, I am going to take a look hard to boost and the just in, see if he does indeed deserve a Norris, a Norris first place vote. Or I'm just happy you didn't say Sanchez. Well, well, you have, you don't want to be boxed, Sanchez right now. But hey, Darnell, he said it. He ended with a championship. He's got a championship. So, that's
“exactly this year. He had to go somewhere else though with, that's true. I think he went to two”
different places. Or maybe you want to see it. Yeah, so yeah, think about four. But yeah, you know, your boy, your boy Clement, you had on the, uh, early golf thing. I, I did a Saber game earlier in the year. And at the, and we saved the Marriott Harbor Center there, which is great. You walk to the rank and up there. And then the bar is good. You know, when it gets going at night, it's pretty good to see. And there's some people come over and, uh, and he was at the game that showed his
boy. Just cut, he's got a, you know, he's got a Saber hat. Looks like he's 17 years old. Oh, he's black
don't. Oh, sure. This is what he always, legendary. You know, they didn't win, but it was like,
he was just that they're talking. He's a Rochester, our tester in New York. He had, you know, he drivers, uh, bus was at Sally that he named his bus Sally. Yeah. That's he Betsy or Beth was awesome. Yeah. He's a great kid. Oh, he's awesome. He's awesome. That was one, that that was one of your better. That's like a top 10 all time. So, G's probably read in the face in the back right now, just like ready to blow up asking a few college questions. Uh, I know we might have
a still a few Western teams to talk about, but the biggest drum he's been beaten. I think it was David Carl's comments about these fucking neutral zone sites for college hockey. How do you feel a button? What's that? New drills zone sites. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, no, I, I've, I've been staying that for a long time that we should have these on campus. Um, you need atmosphere. At Mr. Mo, mainly for the athletes, athletes, but rather play a road game that had 3,000
attended, you know, neutral site game and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Like, you know, they'd rather go to far go with, you know, 9,000 drunk North Dakota fans and they'd rather have that. That's fun. Right. Because if you win, that's the best road silence is the best. It's great for us on television.
“At Mr. Yours better for a television show. And in the end, life is a television show,”
much less sports now, but sports is a definitely a television show. Everything must be geared towards that. It's just no longer a pure competition back in 1890 between, you know, 10 drunk scots got dudes up in Canada playing hockey, right? For their life or death. It's nothing. It's just not anymore. It's a television show. And so, yes, we should play on campus sites. They do it in the first round of the college football playoff. How good was that, right? And before
they head to the balls and then it becomes kind of a neutral site again. But no, I agree that that did happen in David is slowly getting more power. There's a lot of coaches who agree with him, but are afraid to come out and talk like he talks. I know that's frustrating for, you know, for some people, but I think we'll end up there. What's the reason why they're staying so persistent about the fact that there's no atmosphere, like even in one of the games, they broke a
pain and glass 25 minutes delay, Penn State. There isn't one. It's a great question. I can't say. There's give us reasons as to why, like if it's a money thing, it would maybe make sense. But I mean, most of the revenues, considering it's not even televised on any, is it, is it televised,
Making so much money where the tickets, like the tickets got to be where some...
Dan, your question. I don't see how these are money making ventures. You know, I'm sure they did well in love. Because there's a couple of sold out places, but yeah, no, I don't know what
“the reason is the NCAA and in the coaches, but you know, I think ultimately they do that,”
because they think that's the most fair way to decide a champion. You know, is a neutral site playoff game? The argument would be that people say that the powerhouse, like, you know,
colleges and in the organizations, I'll say, will remain always as a host. Like, you'll always
have North Dakota, Michigan, hopefully be you. Like, the big dogs is the ones he toasting to it, but not anymore. That's true now. Yeah, that's not true. But Carl did say, I never thought of it. I thought of, um, you know, the number one seats all hosting all four, but he was saying one through eight hosts nine through 16 at their building. So it'd be like eight different sites. Now, maybe the TV aspect, but that would be sick. And then you get all, you get all together right after
that. But I do, I do wonder at some point if the noise gets louder enough, because it seems like we've been talking about it, but now, I mean, jeez getting, he said like five coaches texted them or call them about it. It's like, obviously. Right. Well, yeah, those guys need to do it publicly, though, those coaches. Yeah, you're right. You know, but maybe their AD is against it and they're afraid to go against their AD. So I get it. There's some situations like that. But, you know, in the
ultimately, what they could do is in what, you know, there's been whispers of is just breaking away from
the NCAA, just start your own Federation. You know, there's been rumors about this. Like, we got to ask not to talk about this, where essentially they would create like a Premier League. Yeah. And hockey is the one sport probably, and all sports have talked about this at the college level, even football has, right? I mean, they could easily do their own thing, get their own TV contract, going to be not prom it all. But, you know, there's been talk about maybe doing that
with college hockey and maybe, and do you break it up into tears? So like, you know, you have three divisions. I don't know. I mean, let's face it. These teams in Atlanta, hockey are not going to ever win the national championship. Now it's fun to aspire to a D1 scholarship and play a, you know, occasionally play a Boston College in North Dakota, Denver, and compete against those guys. But, you know, would it be cool if they could compete for their own championship? You know, whether it's
20 teams in each division or each tier if you do it that way and get separate TV contracts. And the big boys can get a TV contract and maybe try to grow the game that way and have more games on prime time. Get these big dogs together every week playing big games and have a Monday, night hockey at third, whatever you do. But, yeah, that's probably the, ultimately, then they can do whatever they want and all kinds of situations if they break away and in higher commissioner and
and try to, because it is becoming a strong league with the, with the Canadian juniors coming down these 20-year-old kids are really good players. Really good. They've really brought depth.
“Yeah. This casual kid in Denver who played, I think he played for Swift current for four years”
was the MVP. You know, he's a 20-year-old freshman. Man, that guy can play. He's really good. I think that it's basically become the A shell now. I think it's just as competitive as the American hockey league with the fact that these guys can come over the top end junior guys after after, you know, preparing and marinating for four years. Yeah. The perfect path of development. Now that same guy we were talking to as you just mentioned, like you talked about the tiers,
there should be a relegation system where maybe the bottom four teams that how big would you keep tier one? Like are you talking 20 teams, 25, 30? Like how big would that top tier be? You think? Yeah, you could probably go 30. You could probably do two, actually. You probably go two tiers. And that would be like two, you know, 30 and I don't know about relegation, how that works. And I have to see that work and, you know, but I'm all for trying. I think if you make the frozen
four of maybe the second tier, it would bump out the bottom four that finished that part.
“Like that's why I said British Premier League. Like that's such a fun system because, like,”
even all the way to the end of the year, you're, you're like, you have something to root for. Right. And you really have to pick, you definitely come with full fledged league then, because you have to plan these schedules and advance, right? Those have agreements. We'll go to your place for two. We'll come to our place for two right now. But again, you could just change it, do the professional model and play you to team four times and
and have divisions and stuff. It wouldn't be hard to do. It's just, it's so different than what
college sport has always been. That's why that's why they're afraid to do it or try or
should we do this? Will we ruin it? We got a decent thing going here. It's pretty popular. We all make good money. Well, it's not like they wouldn't take you back. You could always do, yeah, but you can't, that's even the on-campus thing. Just try for two years. If it sucks, then we'll go back. So that's what I said about the NHL and doing it, like, I know they're so traditional, but you look at baseball and probably the most traditional sport
back to the little bit years ago. And with the implementation, another big word for me, Pinky's up was with the pitch clock and then now this ABS thing, why won't you try a year of the four,
Four, four year cycle of doing one through eight, doing maybe a shorter sched...
on best years to then provide your own. So there's a lot of, yeah, I think that college should definitely have a look in the mirror about all that. Try one, fifteen, two, fifteen, one year. Like, you'll try to praise that. That's the dream, but it is. Yeah, you can't be afraid. You can't be afraid. You can't be afraid. RAs said that too. You can't be afraid to change. Like, and baseball is kind of proved it lately. Right. And with college quickly, I want to ask you, do you think McKenna
maybe goes back? Like, how do you think this ends up playing out? Unfortunately, they don't
“make the frozen for this year. They made it last year, but you think he's gone as good as gone?”
Yeah, yeah. He's not going back. You know, we'll see, we'll see who drafts him, who wins the lottery. I do think he's the best player. Now, if someone, someone could win the lottery and decide to trade the pick, if they feel like they can get a haul and they don't love him for whatever reason, and they might, you know, they might have extra cogle, might say, you know what, well, this is a barge team, and it's front del's team. But if we win the lottery at the first pick,
we might, you know, trade it for stuff. Like, they need to start trading for players. They don't need any more prospects in Chicago. But they could maybe move down to three or four and get a fair hop or get, or get someone else, and then, and then that team might have a player that they can use right now. Another top six forward or something is someone really wants the depends, again, it just depends who wins the lottery that way. But yeah, I think I'd be very
shocked if he'd go back again. I mean, I always love to see, I want, you know, I know Jack,
I go wanted to, with Maclin Celebrini wanted to. But, and McKenna didn't have the years that they had, you know, those were hobby years. And that's, and so McKenna was, you know, he wasn't the best player in college hockey. He wasn't this year. Just, you know, he was 18. He was young. It took him while to get going. And now, but he would, you know, he didn't, you know, he didn't lead his team to the frozen four. Like, again, I go went to the championship game, you know, Celebrini lost
into semi-final game. But he made the frozen four as a, you know, as a 17 year old, he's still amazing when Celebrini did. It's a 17 year college. But, um, so yeah, so I do think he'll go back. I'd love him to go back and play one more. Maccard did. That made a big difference for him
“that one extra year. But I think that's key for defense, but to do the one extra year,”
Quinn Hughes did it. Cal Maccard did it. But as a forward, he'll go right in the league and be good right away. I would not be surprised if McKenna had 60 points next year. He will make he's, he doesn't have anyone to play with at that level with Penn State. Okay. If I was Vancouver, I'd be nervous because you got the Rangers in Chicago in that top five right now, and you know, you just know, I think the Rangers are going to get an absolute softball without one.
You got frozen envelope theories again here? I don't know, man. Fucking safe for goes to Islanders
after they get fuck it after they get died. Well, I never did the draft lottery last year. What we did,
we had to have like four rehearsals for it. Just because it was a little complicated. Okay. When read these numbers, the guys back is turned. We're saying the number out loud. These four numbers of that mat and the Bruins won the lottery. The first time we did it, the rehearsal. Then the second time we did it, the Kraken won the lottery. So it just, it was so weird that the one that we happened to do on television, the Islanders won. But it could have been, and it was so funny to see
“these other teams won the wrong one. I think they would just, for I, hey, we're going to tape it”
until we hit the Islanders. And we're going to make out for taking away the All-Star game because it wasn't like the new landing. You don't believe in business. Like the moochy, moochy body, over little. So they can't see Gary slipping a different envelope or different teams name in there. Okay. Just a little bit of slides. No, it's all about the balls. It's all about it's the pink. It's all about the balls. There's no pinks to all the envelopes. It's all the pinks to all the pinks to all the pinks.
Did you final them before they go in? You got to play with the balls before the lottery. No one touched the balls. Just the ball guy did. There's a ball. The last team to trade the
first overall pick. Great question. Is it ever happened? I don't know because I got my wheel
spinning. Obviously, if it's Vancouver, Vancouver is taking him. But you made a great point about Chicago. Like that's a really good point. What? But Chicago fans would lose their f**king. I don't think they do that. But Darden McKennar are basically blood related. They're like, oh, yeah, cousins. So imagine you trade that that in Bernard's like, fuck, I'm leaving through then. If you were Chicago and you got it, it was on the table. Would you trade, would you trade them to Vancouver for
Boolean? Wow. No. No. Well, you're saying you're saying you'd get, you'd get for Boolean. You'd get, but you'd get like their pick as well. You'd get their pick and then the second overall. Correct. Oh, I'll help. I would definitely make that trade. That's an easy trade. Yeah. That's not a pretty easy trade. But yeah, I would. I would. Yes. So you're saying, would you take Boolean in the second pick for the first pick? If that's the
way, it should go. Even if it's third, but I mean, I think Chicago would definitely do that.
This is why business getting the Toronto job.
He's doing his homework right now. That's why I'm disparaging prongs. That's my, that's the guy I'm
“competing against. But looks like they want to nerd though, right? Keith Kelly had the news conference”
yesterday. And they're going to, they're going to, they're going to hire them. They're going to, they're going to hire them. They're going to go in the nerd route. Yeah, Kelly. They want the data nerd. I would hire Mike Kelly as my assistant, too. It's funny. What Keith Kelly described as the kind of GM he wants to hire is Kyle Dubis and he had him pay no and Dubis stock is, oh, it's through the roof. It's through the roof. It's like, you, your, your theorem. Who do you like at the, uh, frozen
form? Um, and also that kid TJ Hughes, who's lit it up this season for Michigan. He's a free agent undrafted. There's been rumblings, Edmonton, maybe, being the mix there. But what do you think the, the way the, the game shake out there and maybe what happens with some of the bigger free agent signings in college? Yeah, I think Edmonton's in a, and not a few people. Um, I think, oh, when Michael's kid, remember the MOP last year in the frozen for like a 24 for four-year-old,
you know, older college guy, um, or maybe, maybe, maybe him there too. So, yeah, maybe Edmonton will be active. But, you know, it's, I think the Denver Michigan game, uh, that is going to be a Titanic matchup. Uh, I think the winner of that could be, could be the winner. I know North Dakota is going to bring the people like nobody business. I love that fan base. How they travel. I can't imagine where they're going to convene in Tampa. They convened 10 years ago when they won. They
“convened, remember that bar outside in Tampa Bay. It used to be an outside bar and, uh, in Tampa”
right next to the arena. I think, I think they bought all that stuff and they're, you know, kind of gentrified. But that was a cool kind of grimy outdoor bar. And they just, oh, there was like 7,000 people there. It was under the sharkies. Was it called sharkies? Yes, that's exactly it. I used to get the fried grouper there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And, um, and seven blood lines. Remember that? Yeah, limeers. I still love them. And, uh, so yeah. So I, I, I, I, I can't wait to see where they convene. But, um,
it's, it's, it's, it's, it's a, it's a great frozen for four great names. Good. They all travel, uh, but I do think that Denver. I, I just think, I don't know, man, this could be that this could be David Carl again. This could be just, uh, an absolute college, you know, dynasty, which is so hard to do year in year out. But here they are with maybe another one. So I just think it's hard to bet against him. Man, he has the, like, the Bella check formula from back in the day when he was going and how he
thinks the game and understands the game. He's got a goalie again. He'll know he's like five, five, but little Johnny Hicks, he's unbelievable. Um, so yeah, I, I, I, until until someone takes the crown, I'm leaning, I'm leaning Denver. But Michigan, this is the best team they've had at a
long time. They have defense and goalie now. That was always their bugaboo. They got the best
players, all those kids, you know, being in Michigan, you, such a great place to be with a developing program right around the corner. It's just, in obviously Michigan's Michigan and used as the best. So they have goal-tending now and they have defense. And so maybe that could be their, you know, formula now to break their droughts since 1998, their last national championship. I couldn't believe when I saw it, but 28 years since. Yeah, that's wild. But um, yep, we got
rollback last question. Use code, check out on rollback.com, uh, CHIC, LETS on RHO, BACK.com, 20% off Polos, hoodies, joggers, everything. Check it out. Back to the west. You mentioned, you're, you're, you'll be shocked almost if Colorado doesn't win it all, but talk about Dallas quickly, because they beat them last year in game seven. The rotten and unreal legendary moment in the
third period of game seven against his old team. Jim Nill just gets resigned. All of a sudden,
uh, tree living gets let go and Dallas is like, okay, hold on, hold on, Jim, Jim, you're not going anywhere. Um, are you still that confident? Or do you think it would be a complete coin flip if they get Dallas again second round? I don't think it's the coin flip. I still think it's favors Colorado.
“I still think they're, they're a favorite. It's the decent little favorite. And I think the,”
the odds are, I'm they're going to be the favorite in every series. I think they would be in that one. But yeah, I'm, I'm all on color. I'm, I'm, it's a no doubt or for me, you know, it's got, it's like Chicago when Chicago was going. And I remember, that's when I wrote my column a lot ESPN.com and it's like, yeah, now this team is, this is top three goals for you. Just look at the, you know, talk about all these analytic stats. I look at the GF and the GA. You know, that,
that's a real good stat. They score a lot. They don't give up a lot. You know, like, that's really a good idea of how good a hockey team is in this sport. Because we see, it's a low scoring sport in terms of, you know, it's five, three, four, two, three, one. It's, it's very simple in that regard. And, and so, yes, I, I have no doubt in my mind that that Colorado was going to get this done. But, you know, Dallas, it, I mean, man, Robert Hinn and Johnston, man, they're good. But I do think,
I think Colorado also was a cause. Like, I think they're playing. I think actually the Olympic loss definitely fires McKinnon up in Maccar more. So it gives another thing under the rest,
you know, more fire. So I think, I think it's all point in Colorado for their second cup this decade.
I don't know.
I think he's going to have I think, I think he's going to go into playoff this year with some
serious, you know, memories of last year and put on a clinic and be in real issue for teams this year.
“We won't see. Yeah, we will see. And now, and one more college thing, I think, you know, with all”
this money this year, the McKinnon money, I think all the prices are coming down. And we saw Mercy hers talky, you know, go under, I think there's a couple other teams like her. The tea drain is well. And that that that's it's unsustainable. So that was a yeah, it's not football. It's not the money. It's not the tea contracts. Like, you heard that McKinnon pay paycheck. It's like, oh my God, like, I'm hoping for you can give 20 grand to somebody or something like that. You know, it's like,
now, maybe the biggest wall it. Yeah, well, fuck. I mean, Jesus, with all those beers, your dad drank at that stadium, you think you be able to hand over McKinnon deal. I know, I know, you're right. You're right. Well, poochie, you're the best buddy. We appreciate that.
I was awesome. And you know what, what first round you'll be covering, like obviously,
will you be Western East, in terms of your capacity? We probably won't find out to the last night, right? Thursday. I'll be in studio all the last week. And so yeah, we'll see what you know, some matchups will be said. And that it will probably cruise the sign to them. And then I'm just like, who I'll probably, I'll probably, amongst those last drugs that get in. Boochie, you're going to Ottawa or Winnipeg. If Winnipeg gets in, I'm in Winnipeg. Okay. I don't get the Marti matchups,
“boys. You should Boochie or the best. Here's my prediction. There's going to be two or three games,”
82 that decide play oppositioning, two of which that will decide a team going in. Jets, sharks, last game. Okay. Jets. That's my Western playing watch out for now. me up early going to Wednesday a little early week. Not in our all of that. That just means the weekend starts a lot faster to level 45 already. I saw you had an early dinner last night. You know like I like to go to the same restaurant for five times a week. I'm sure you can relate. Haven't had any. Oh yeah. No. There's just slightly. Yeah. We did it. It was like 10 PM. Like both Tavan kitchen closed at the tab in a 10 30. So I got to be in right before 10 30.
Get nice little supper and sleep well after eating nice and early. All right. It was great seeing you at the bees game bed. But you look great. I know the game. The cane's got to be tough. It was that a leather coat. Yeah. The hair slick back underneath the hair was just I was like, fuck. All right. Looking good. Thank you buddy. I appreciate that. I know you brought up the other day,
“but you believe not. You got to interrupt it on the spit and chip. That's why we're all doing it after”
that. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Oh, absolutely team game. Yeah. But no, it's great. You just say slick back.
Yeah.
what? On of his hair boys in the back. That's going to be part of the hat. It buddy.
But it goes under the floor. That's a straight up skull at all right. But you're seeing the flow, but that flow in the back wasn't like dry like it is now. It was like jell in it. Like slick
“back. Oh, so that was just. Oh, no. It's a fucking honesty. Honestly, this might be longer than my”
COVID skull. Like, which obviously Boba shops have closed. This was a basic from being laid up. And I had nothing that I needed to get gussied up for enough where I had to like shave my head. So, honestly, I've been like class playing having hair again. Because, you know, I went ball early late 20s. I had a fucking take it down to the nub. And if you know, everyone's well get lazy. And I saw it look like a suburban dad and the one bowl, you know, the fucking with the
with the monk cut. But it's this long. And it's like, I look at him like, oh, wow. You know, like, what? What do I look like? What hair again? I know why. It's because that Halloween costume wig that you had on you had so many compliments about how good you look with hair. Who have you said? He's dead characters. It's a rumor that I, all right. But you mean women now with the hat on, it's like, oh my god, what he's got up top. Look at the
back. I can only let that take it off. I get him home. Oh, yeah, just just you just give them the book earrings with hat on. You know, I tell him of Jesse Ventura when he takes his band. Yeah, couple things are right. We're not moving on yet. No, no. Let's roll. You do a touch. That's that's exactly what I was going to get to biz because like years ago, you know, a size throwing era here, plugs like, and I was just like, hey, man, you're genetics out
with the eye. I didn't plan on going ball. Like, you know, looking at my hair when I was in my late 20s was like, you know, looking through a hillbilly fucking teeth. You could see every thing down below, like a lot of gaps is what I mean. And I'm like, you know, that's my genes whatever. I got my grandfather's DNA. But then since then, man, like nobody gives a fuck. Like every athlete, like keep so many people just get the plugs and no one cares for my, but I, so I did
I've been considerate and Donnie don't want to on that ask me. And I'm like, geez, free here, 53, I mean, it would be so obvious. It's fake, but nobody gives a fuck. I mean, plus I can like get moose. I'm fucking hit in the morning over. I haven't bought a bottle of Depp and 25 fucking years. So I don't know, biz, I get like your dating proposed dating show. We will revisit a late at the time. Definitely highlight the hood of me. I get fake here. Then go on a date and
show it. I think that you would do bigger numbers than Drew ski if you did a dating show. If you did an RA dating show, I think it would legit that be the most viral show. And with the bachelor at being canceled, you would take center stage or at least the last season. Last thing I'll say about the hair. If the bees, they're going to make playoffs. Fuck it. We had 98.2 chance, motherfucker. Last call, baby. All right, if they went around, will you braid the skull it? Would you,
would you braid it? And then put like the the black and yellow beads at the bottom. Like I'm still one like Jamaica. I go on like Michael Scott, like when you did you make that one fucking braid.
“But you have to do the whole way. Oh, we lost wet. Oh, we lost both of those guys.”
Which went on the end of the internet. I think it's quit. I think they just quit the pod while it's being anybody. You know what? That could be a fun bet. Like we can, you know, like make a charity thing or whatever. And then, you know, then well-trained after. But no, seriously, like yeah, breathe that, that's how I could be a goofball boat. And you know, because I'm like, it's like, why get a haircut now? It's just like I haven't fun with it. I don't know. I love it.
And it's bringing the bees. Good luck. And I never had hockey here because I couldn't
fucking skate as we set up many insides like this. So gee, what do you, all right, I have agreed to go to Buffalo with murals. If it is a Boston verse Buffalo first round, can I get your commitment to join us in Buffalo for this first round? So this is a reference to the center of our lessons. We'll get this. How do you do do you have wooden nuts? Yes. Yeah. If it's Boston Buffalo, I mean, yeah, I mean, you might have to fucking put an extra liver in my carry on. But last time we were in Buffalo,
we did the Mohawk Spawn you on the side of the road. Very late. We had to bring you into the hotel.
“It was a whole thing. So hopefully we have a bounce back. But I think me, you murals in heat daddy and Buffalo.”
I think that would be electric. Yeah. I mean, Buffalo is already an electric city and actually I'm looking for a DM. I got from one of the Mohawk buddies you just mentioned and I can't find it. They were very appreciated of the shuttle. They can't wait for the next check that's got by says,
if we're having a Boston, you guys have to be here because, you know, I coached them the second time
and, you know, coached me patting asses and, you know, saying for a check, but like it was in the rain that time and they had a huge comeback when it was like, you know, like one of those bonding moments where I wasn't a player, but I was proud of something. And so yeah, I was nice they had back from that. They appreciated that. With the other two dump off of golf or it was it. Oh, they, they're power went out R.A. So the whole legit lot. I think you're, you're
mullet. We have power went out. Oh, yeah. Stay hot Florida. They said the internet isn't even popping
Up.
But R.A. I think that you're, I think that your mullet is providing the bees with like an aura.
“The word aura gets thrown around a lot lately, but I believe that you're providing the team with aura.”
Oh, I love, I love to hear that. Oh, I was going to have them at the beginning of the year. I got to give you your flowers here. You had to pick the playoffs. You also had Marco Sturm as your Jack Adams coach of the year. So we got to give R.A. as far as the whole world didn't have the Boston Bruins in the playoffs. This is the previews. R.A. Did. Yeah. Like season preview. Yeah, probably the last block I wrote, but swaying free. Hey, man. One. Yeah. But no, and it was sincere.
I mean, you know, I've always called that like I seen it on the block all these years. But yeah,
right, you know, I thought like they had some decent pieces there. And when it is business, the the effort, the hot, the grit, the, the, the gristle like that, that is overcome. And that is more than all compensated for the, maybe the lack of skill that other teams may have. And they play the balls off the strumming. Listen, man, however, the season ends up, this is a team. I, I've been proud of all year. And this will be one of my favorite Bruins teams of all time. Just like what they do,
that come back at the other day, the Columbus, like, unbelievable. The way, you know, they had the political way, then they had the six on foot, the way they would ever chuck and stick everything, just get in the lane, just using this that how many times they kept them zone to like, you know, my mom's texted me during the game. Well, excited. And it was just a huge win. And yeah, man, I can't wait for the playoffs. I can't wait to see what this team does. If they were fucking
one and done, I don't care, man. I love this team. I love what they've done. And actually, yeah, feel the boys actually were, I missed them Friday, because they went to movies. I was going to talk to what about that, but a couple of the wild, the flu, you know, brothers, I guess, popped into on the table and every, you know, everybody said to a great guys, no surprise, but a couple of staff were, uh, get a little, uh, uh, Twinkly, when they saw Marcus,
flu, you know, come in. They were, yeah, he's definitely quite, and the other thing was going to mention a win too, and what biz, you could chime in. You know, Bruins had a five o'clock stop time
on Saturday at home, which never happens. Who's he one or seven? And then they had a five o'clock
that in Columbus though, people were asking, I was like, you know, I don't know if it's just like an extra cushion a couple hours, because they've condensed so much of the schedule into so little time after the Olympics. And, you know, it's an extra two, three hours, which, you know, is a lot to these guys that are trying to bounce back. Do you have you heard anything on those these kind of a lot of stop times at all? No, but also, I think that, like, fans have also complained about not
“staggering the starts enough, that maybe that's why they felt like, like, combined with that”
reason you just mentioned, maybe they're actually starting to listen to the, to the fan bases, where they don't, well, people, especially this time of year, you're having all these wild card races, where all these games matter, why wouldn't you stagger them? So, yeah, I didn't think of the staggered aspect of it, because they usually set the times ahead, but yeah, it was just an interesting jack. Well, maybe, but going back to your comment, R.A., that's how I want to feel
about the Toronto Maple Leafs, how you just described, to have a year where expectations were low, or not where they would have been in the past, and for your team to fight and claw for every inch, like, if you guys end up going six, seven games and round one and losing, like, you're going to end this season being like, fuck, man, I love that team. I was proud of that team, and I loved watching them. I think either way, biz, I think I think Bruins fans are already at that point. I think,
you know, just making the playoffs, I think, even just like having a competitive season, Bruins fan, they were plus 10,000 to win the division at the beginning of the year. Bruins fans were this playoffs, it wasn't even a thing. It was R.A. It was the only guys, so it's like, this is
“so successful in Bruins fans are so over the moon happy already. Right, who's your coach of the year?”
Man, like, Moose, keep making a tough fight. It actually, I'm glad you brought that up, because when my buddy's up in the press block, I was a German guy, he's, he breaks for the, oh, covers all the German players. He's no Michael. He got him. We got him. We got him back. There we go. We got him back. We got him back. We lost dinner right there. All the guys are, no, no sweat. I was just saying, I was talking to my German buddy up in the press
box. He goes, he knows Michael goes way back, but I mean, he asked me about the Jack Adams, and you know, I thought the usual suspects, and he brought up a great point and, well, Boogie showed him, set me the same thing with all, like, specifically mentioned it, but, you know, he said, well, Quenville is one, three cups. Rough been around. He's one of Jack Adams. He's like, Mako's a rookie coach, and I think sometimes we, you know, rookie players, we give a little, a lot of
leeway too, but we don't really consider rookie coaches. They're doing the same thing for the first time,
and I think that up stuff like the difficulty factor, and it's a, gives the definitely a lot more consideration to guys who it's their first year in league as opposed to, again, as great as the docs have been, but goals been around three cups. So you don't even mean, you got them saying, so him, yeah, so him, of course. Yeah, she seems that didn't have any expectations going into the season, like, you know, Pittsburgh and Boston didn't have, you know, big expectations.
Exactly. Uh, wait, but I was mentioned, I bought video, but I, we got to do a real quick project, Hail Mary. I saw that, uh, the other night, I, well, we talked about, dude, awesome flick. I'm
Glad I didn't watch the previews, because, you know, I would have seen the ch...
in halfway through, and, you know, with a spoiled pod, but we, man, I saw the eyemax, awesome stuff. If you want a good feel, good movie, you could take the kids is not an offensive about it. Uh, great flick, man. Especially with that one scene in IMAX. I can't imagine how good that was
in IMAX. Incredible. And I, and I guess I, I'll, I'll shout out to a, like, the, uh,
writing IMAX, like, I go to Kendall Square a lot, you know, it's like, and that's like a cinna file movie, like people don't say a fucking word. They, they, they shut their phones off, but I'll say, I'll pay a writing IMAX man for like, all those people in there and there's a lot of shit heads and society, not a word, not a phone. It was like, brief, however many people at all, it's hundreds of people, excited with the whole time, it's up to like laugh the man. So,
shout out to that. And it, it reminded me why it's so fucking awesome to go to movies, but we could go back to hockey, because you just mentioned you throw out the leaves. I know Radko, goodness, offering himself up, so they can get the upon to flesh after in the categories. He doesn't throw a punch, but I feel like that's like what for the least, that's like going to the drugstore to get rubbers after the trip was the boy. You know what I mean?
It's like, what does that accomplish now? And it, it, it maybe puts that story to bed, but I don't know, man. It's just like, okay, you know, it's like, well, what else do they get into?
“At this point, they're like, you need to franchise. All right, it needs to be done.”
All right, if you just place with, with with one leg, like, fucking the guy from who's a guy I'm thinking of who, Lieutenant Dan. Yeah. Oh, he actually lost both. I think he had none. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He got new legs, but they don't if he's playing there and they don't do anything like you're an even bigger laughing stock. They need it to do it, but it just felt like, okay, whatever, but yeah, but when you said that, it looked like a gang in it
initiation. I'm muted on here with listening you guys, that might be the funniest fucking thing you've ever said in the history of the show. That was absolutely hilarious, but speaking of fights, this is the year of the goaly fight. The sterkin, mocked from two guys who like, these fucking idiots couldn't get us in the playoffs. Let's just punch the fuck out of each other for the next few minutes. Great fight. I mean, that's what, but three or four in the lead this year, plus the
THL. Do you think, uh, what's the cause of it? Like just, like, frustration, like, guys just, I think fighting's on the rise. Definitely. I think it was Chicago had a fighting instructor comment. Okay. It just on the rise and probably some frustration from both those gollies. I was just shocked at like parks from got beat. Like, and he didn't even, he wasn't like letting them, like, I think it was just stuck. I was trying to get the blocker off of the glove, whatever, and
like, it was almost like, Marky was rushing in and then she's stuck. And yeah, he hit himself. Well, he was laughing after. I was like, yeah, this is probably the top moment for both of those teams.
“This year. That's how pathetic they've been. Maybe Markstrom was like, I'm so sick of”
posture of rooting for this team. I have to fight someone. He would have actually landed some punch if he pictured Pasha's head on Igor's body. Um, and also then Igor after the games that I wanted it to be so broken by first dancing partner. So maybe we'll see that coming to it. He was joking obviously, but did you be on KGB crime? I think maybe, maybe the toughest thing we've seen from a guy on a devil's bench, yeah, my buddy Frosty, he caught one right off the fucking right above
the eyebrows. He got Harry Potted from a fucking right here. Frosty still looks like he's 28 years old. He's got he's got 18 right right above there. Look at he looks, I told me it looks like Harry Potted. That's Jack having a lot of fun. It was, oh, that's Jack. Yeah. It was a shot from Dougie Hamilton. So for once we could say, not all right, Hamilton. That's right. Dead dog. I love that because you loved it. Had to go there, but no, I doubt the Frosty man. He's my buddy. We talked about it
a lot of time. He's feeling fine. Hasn't missed the beat, but I want to give him a shot. I always
give those guys and that's one of the dangers of the job, man. Like, you know, it's, I know, and when you're between the benches, that's the attribute. You're in more of a box there,
“but you're in the bench band. You got to stay heads up, but I think he's been dumped a few times.”
Yeah, it was it you who mentioned it about Frosty, like how the, when they won that gold medal, how like there was a, there was one player in particular, but like the players were so grateful and thankful towards him because he bridged the gap to the old American guys who had won the world cup to this new generation. And they were doing these FaceTime calls and Frosty was a big reason behind it. So the legend grows like of Frosty, the probably the most famous hockey trainer
to ever exist at this point now. Yeah, because I think he had Keith Kachuk and Phoenix, and obviously has known Matthew and Brady and that kind of probably bridged the gap a little bit, but yeah, weren't they saying they were FaceTime and Shelley? Well, Shelley, you've loaned it. I know they made shirts that say, "WWCD, what would Shelley do?" So, oh, fuck, I stole that then. Get drunk and see Pearl Jam. Yeah. So I stole the what would Wendell do off of those guys?
And paid five cheese for the metal jersey. But still piss. I think I'm out of the running for the
GM job now. No, that actually he ends his first his first gig. I believe was IHL Phoenix
Roadrunners with big gym VZ where we got his first gig. So you went from big gym to big wall.
Then he was at Nashville with Tommy Fitzsau.
What kind of a player was a big Jimmy Vc? Oh, my God. Hands like silk toughest nails a different maybe a different generation when Americans weren't looked down on as much. He might have
got an actual chance. St. Louis called him up a bunch of times. Never got a proper cup of coffee.
You know, it was like mostly injury calls up in then he sang with Boston. There's a free agent.
“And I believe it was the second game of Buddy Pass, fucking wreck the shoulder and, you know,”
back to the age Ellen. But yeah, so I don't know what St. Louis have a gave him a proper chance because you're looking to stats. I mean, just call his pocket DB page, like go, he could score a goal. Set everybody up in and punch your fucking face and two. So give me big gym was awesome. He put Columbus on the map. Mara Mack was unknown until he went there. So nice. Thanks for asking. Shout out to him. And while we're on it, I got to give him a congrats to Lily Maya's eyes.
The daughter of my one of my oldest buddies, Poly Maya's the Boston Junior Eagles. They were just out in Buffalo. They won the 14 and under tier one national championship. So got out to the Boston Junior Eagles. Great bunch of gals. A little picture right there to build a gals off. Oh, just yeah, give a little love and I got my buddies. I thought she was a freshman at the MC this year made varsity. So keep it going a little the whole times. Wow. Yeah. Jimmy Vc had 40 goals in his last
or in 40 games in his last year at Mara Mack. One, I HL championship. And luckily, though, with the blues, even the only only played 15 career NHL games, 11 of with which with the blues, he did get an NHL goal. So that's that's huge. That's huge. Yeah. And cool that he got to play in his whole our or basically his hometown of Boston. So check the few big things off the list. And yeah, he's been out say Lewis a lot recently because, you know, Kelly Chase, they did have it
have a lot of things for him. And you know, he's an alumni. So he's been out there. Him and I chase
“a little way back. Chase says you know who he works for now. I think he's a scout now, isn't he?”
Yeah, do you know for which team? I went away. I went up the wheel. I think you mentioned Montreal. It's yours. That team doesn't exist if you keep you told that they don't have a team. It's your Toronto Maple Leafs business. Maybe give big gym the look up top. I don't biz 80 to one biz you are. I want to see the plus 8,000 is 80 to one. Well, okay. Well, I'm an idiot and I probably shouldn't be GM but still, but maybe the people sent the
screenshot of them putting 50 bucks on you to win like, I don't know, like, like, four, four million dollars.
And I'm like, that's a nice, it's a long shot already loves the long shot. Let's go on. Yeah, let's go on calcium. We'll do a little insider trading. If I can plot get some dough there. Little scam ass. My boy, Mac, then we got to give him a shout out. It's a hundred points. Nineteen years old, 38 goals, 63 assists, 101 points in just 72 games at 19 years old. By the way, the shocks and a dead yet look like they were, they look like Bruce at the end of
jaws and I'm building a piece. Oh, they had that. They were up against the blues. Four, two.
“They blues come back and tie it and they give, they scored with, I think, God, that scored with 20”
seconds left a huge, like regulation win. And celebrating his sixth teenager, they had a hundred points in the NHL in a season. It's fucking crazy. It's awesome. And like, they're, yeah, the two points back of the second wildcard Nashville with two games in hand. So they sort of control the wrong destiny here. And on the same thing with the West, we got to talk about the jets and other team. Like, I jet that was crashing a month ago. How about what he did? Nine,
four and three and much. They're only a point back at Nashville right now. I, like, I don't know, they have him a kick, kick an ass because hell of bucks numbers on the month. 269 to eight, nine, seven, eight percentage. Like, those aren't numbers. You were great, when a winnin' like, treat that's going to get you back in the playoffs. But they're back from the dead to the East, the West. These games are all playoff games right now. They said before,
every game is bigger than last real great stuff. We're going through a little hockey history today. Pretty remarkable for the jets. Like, Cole Perfetti has had a difficult year. I think we can all agree. I think he scored as like 12th goal the other night. Um, they lose healers in the offseason, Stanley and, and, and I know they're depvedy and Shen get moved. Um, but like, fuck man, like, kind of out of nowhere, man. Like, who, who, and also how many games did, um,
more, see, mess after Olympic break? I don't know how many, not sure if that's not back. Like, they don't think they're fair share of adversity. But my god, the fact that they're still
in the mix is crazy. We never talk about them. Yeah. Well, we just did so today, hockey history,
uh, 46 years ago today, the flower, the original flower, a dealer for, got a pair of goals and the Habs 72 win over Detroit to become the first NHL player to score a 50 goals in six straight seasons, break and fill us bezitos record in. Of course, today at hockey history, we got him head to every week on the very same day, Wayne Grettsky, Wayne O'Beeke and the first NHL teenager to score a 50 goals in a season. Talking about
Teenagers setting records, uh, his first of nine seasons with 50 plus goals.
history things. I think we might be on pace for our best ever R.A.s world right now. This is all right.
“R.A.s buzzing and yeah, I go, yeah, it's the skull. I go back to, uh, when Grettsky scored and”
it's, this is above and beyond, I've talked about the Wayne Grettsky, my favorite movie above and beyond incredible. The 50 goals in 39 games is the all time. Like that, watching the clips of that
game and like realizing that that will never be sniffed 50 goals in 39 games, like just think about that.
And I guess yet, so would you say nine of seasons of 50 or more? Yeah, yeah, nine seasons of at 50 plus. Well, the great one. I feel like you set me up to say this, that would because, you know, Grettsky 50 and 39 would all bring up. Can't really 50 and 44 on one leg. That that's for Adam Oates being the best pass or ever. I mean, some great say that and it's not a whole amount of kid killed on his, you know, actually, I might, I might die on it. Again, I'll die,
I'll die on the inside the last time, I'll die on the outside. Uh, all right, like Twitter, social media, we know how much of a, of a cesspool. The evidence bin lately, but every once in a while something nice comes up and I did want to share this, there was a viral tweet from an autistic boy's mom. She put out, uh, my son is autistic and he's obsessed with hockey arenas, not hockey, not hockey,
hockey arenas. He wants to visit one every weekend. Then comes and draws him for hours. If anyone
has any hockey picks, drink picks, please share the play the name. It would make my five year old so happy. She got thousands of replies, fans, media, NHL teams, people all around the globe sentence stuff. And I said a pick I had taken and, you know, put like Jordan would tell where it was from and all that at some details. And it's just like it was just a nice fucking thing. And we don't get enough of that sometimes on social media. So toxic these days, but we shouldn't have a trick with you. Right?
Because you could go on and maybe see the videos of all the different college arenas jeez done. Main would stand out. You know, the rank that would be cool. The one that did the spangler cup in. Yeah. Yeah. That was, that's a six ball. Is that double? Yeah. Wasn't true. That's a, the control. And, oh, yeah. Actually, I'll, I'll share her if you want anyone listen, it's a, at, at Kit Kat underscore 12 16. So you get a Kit Kat. Did you see Kit Kat? What the hell?
They had 12. What was it? All right. Give the number. I, I want to say 12 times. I saw a name. Oh, it's body. Well, it was 12 times, 24,000 pounds, which in the grand scheme. It's probably known as much as it sounds like because they're all in boxes and packaging and stuff. You know, it's Kit Kat. They'll dig it a lot. What are you going to do with it? That it's a robbery that could
“give. It's a great game. Oh, that's what fences of fun, man. Well, you won't have to go to dinner at”
10 p.m. You can open a Kit Kat whenever you want. Oh, no. I mean, you, I mean, I mean, I mean,
I mean, especially back of the day, everyone had a fence. You know, hot stuff used to always
be lying around. Maybe like a good fellow is really all the yellow sweaters on. Yeah. I'll throw off a truck. Well, exactly. But so back on the day, well, the trail is on around here anymore. There was in trains that would go to some of them and dudes would go, they'd get, you know, bring bolt cutters pop the lock. And you didn't know if you were going to get like fucking, you know, like, like, T move fucking socks or like one night. Well, we, I mean, they got a hundred pieces
of a bill like, yeah, maybe the old Bob bottles, like the ones that were actually good glass with around top, like a hundred of them. And they, and I fortunately Leo was, I think in Vegas that week. So we had a nice little statues till we got rid of them. And this is old like old school childstone. So it was a local men's club. Actually it's going to be around the more. But it's thinking to say the name. And I had, I remember I had my, my mom's old Subaru hatchback. I was like,
you know, my beat of when I was like 19. And we were loading them out of my, out of the hatchback until like this club in the old, and one of the clock, clock couples out. Oh, I was like, yeah, give me two luckies. They can good fellows with shit in that pants. But it was a local club. He's like, hey, I don't get my fuck when he's got it from a get the fuck out of here. And you're done. Like, you know, he knew exactly, you know, they were stolen whatever. So yeah, I mean, whatever. I guess
when you grow up in these environments, is there a statue of limitations on robbery of, yeah, I was going to say, there's going to be a fucke and it's a good for this. I mean, you're much, I would look great with the scholar though. Oh, yeah. Yeah. 12,000 have many machines with only kick cap bars. Sure, it's okay if I keep my hat on before I turn to the left. Like, there's no chips, no nothing. Just kick cap bars. Yeah. Um, you know, one night, two, actually, because it was like October and me and my buddy,
“like security guy came. We got chased. And the only way to go is in the drink. We went to Mr.”
River, like early fall, like full, full dressed. It was he, and then we went to Donnie once on doing hippo mode. And he didn't find us. And we had a like walk home and driven and we didn't get pinched though, but literally we had it. Yeah, we had to go in the mystical hell. Otherwise we would get around that up. So yeah, this I was a teenager. That's the desperation. All mark needs right now for the senators. I'll suit up. We're a kick cap bar. All right, are we created the ending the
Shawshank Redemption? Oh, I hate that's a happy ending. Um, I know, we got to rub. How long we going this
Year?
Uh, my, my pick of the week. I don't know, actually, you know what, I got a lot of feedback on
“a master and command. That was a one movie that I gave out. I know you, I know you, not new guys”
watched it. I can say. I, all right, I have a, I have a, I have a little movie watched list on my phone. I added it. I add it. I like good to hear. No, I trust your TV and movie, uh, explicitly. Thank you, man. Appreciate it. He's up for that word. Thank you. But yeah, this one, it's a, I'm a big fan of like British gangster flex. And this is probably maybe the best ever. It's called the Long Good Friday, uh, came out in 1980, does Bob Hoskins who he won, unfortunately, past, but he was the guy who framed
Roger Rabbit, you know, the, the live, the live action guy. And also, if they ever made a, a Barry Trots movie, and he was still around, he definitely would have played Perry Trots if you're trying
to visualize, but it's a, yeah, British gangster flick. He basically, he's, you know, he's a Bob Guy,
he's got all these businesses and all of a sudden his business is getting fuck with and he's trying to figure out who does it and I'll leave it at that. Uh, it's a lot of, uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, yeah, I mean, I, I, I want, uh, exactly. I want people to be surprised. I want them to, the movie to come with them. But one of the all time best endings, like, like, I love non-verbal actor like, yeah, I'll put you to one's godfather too, like, you know what he hears,
Fredo talking about being down there with Giovanni Olor, and like, you just, but you just does this thing with his face and his eyes with like, he's conveying this thing without saying it. Well, Bob Hoskins at the end of this movie is, but you know, like, so a long good Friday, awesome stuff, good stuff there. I, I've contemplated, this is hilarious. I've contemplated
maybe new segment biz. I know you're the sweep up your, up your rally. I raised divorce Chronicles,
like, just like, like, like, this is, like, this is wet dream come true. And it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not fuck related. It's like, like, I want to connect with you. It's gonna be nice. Let me go on. Uh, you know, it's like, it's been three, like, four months since the league lease was done and the, and the, the calls have been dried. And, you know, it just, your eyes get open to certain things, because, you know, you're in certain states with certain laws, where things have to be abided by. So,
yeah, we, we would go along that often. I'm not prep for this, but I'm, I'm contemplating, uh, talking about some of the experiences I've had since my, like, the voice of it, been dry. We can have some blocks with it, but uh, yeah, it's a little head shaking. So, I don't, a little bit of a dick tease. I, as in my, as in, like, things that are absolutely bullshit about the law and how ridiculous it is. Oakley, Oakley, Oakley. Well, you've told me a couple of things that, yeah, and, and we're going to
save it for your segment next week, that are absolutely insane to me, but the court and, and people are, you're just, when you're time, I don't even believe you. So, the fact that some of this stuff actually goes down is crazy. I think, I, I get it, like, oh, why do you love, buddy? Yeah, it's said at least you got your test luck from his hack job on. Oh, yeah, hands is in with
“room right now. It doesn't have a mic because of the internet situation. That's why we didn't pick it up,”
but that's a positive thing. That, that, that, that, that, that was, that, in perfect example, like, day, I can't believe a lawyer, a downtown Boston lawyer saw that pin tweet, and two people thought, it was real, especially her, like, why he can't stand fucking the dude. And, like, that I would post crypto money, like, I just couldn't believe that one of them said, I, you know what, you know, it could be a hack here, but that was very crazy. Is it that cost you another 300 bucks for him to
fuck that up? That's not to get his Twitter account back. What's that? To get his Twitter account
back, he might have had to pay money. So it was just, it was a fumble fucking always. Oh, no,
but no, fortunately, I, I didn't have to, yeah, gas and up, that way, okay, he hooked me up at the stool, but yeah, that was funny. I mean, we could laugh at that stuff. I would, and if I, I think if I ever did get married, I would, I would, like, establish residency in Texas in order to do it. I believe that Texas is, like, the best state that, like, basically, like, you get cap that a certain number, like, some of the, like, some of the rules with getting divorce is just an absolute side of
“it. Yeah. I think the Texas is like, they say it's cheaper to keep her. Well, yeah, and, well,”
if in certain situations, it works, but not, not everyone. I think the Texas business, you get to keep seven houses, but you lose four dogs. I think that's the blood. Oh, shit. All right. Well, I guess I got to rethink that one. That's right. Yeah, that's right. Oh, it's the best. Man. What did you say? Yeah, I just don't think I'm gonna lose the dog. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I might join you in the, in the breakup Chronicles, not the divorce. I, I, I, my picked this week. I, oh, awful last week,
hopefully, no need as well. I'll be over three, but I like the Isle Spratty night playing out. Filly, I mean, it should be a good matchup, but I just think they got the Edge and Gold 10, and take them on regulation only, uh, cheaper, big deal. So that's the pick for the week. Yeah. And last last one, I know what, but going on, Frankie Bradley got to give him a shout out for stuffing rigs in a locker. Uh, I don't the video broke since then. Uh, I love it. They went to him and you could just see
the disdain on his face when rigs was like spinning himself into another whole blow and tiger.
Frankie said, I personally thought it sucked.
out of Dan Rappapoint. And his best line was, I'm not on that wall. I was like, oh, fucking, you're a flank at the moment. Oh, Prince, that was, that's a, that's a play on, uh, what's the movie, all right? Uh, all up, uh, a few good men. If you're a good man, we're
Jack Nichol, Jack Nichol. He put himself basically in prison by admitting to ordering a code
red where a marine was killed. And in that speech, he's flipping out admitting to it. He's like, I'm the guy you want on that wall. You need on that wall in terms of like protecting the United States and sending men to battle who are ready to be marines in his mind. And rigs did a play on that defending a guy who has 16 DUIs in his flipped his car. Guy almost killed a marine fucking driving fucking messed up like you. You know, like, yeah, just fucking ill. Yeah,
Frankie was, that was funny. I did watch the, uh, the clip that came out of of, of prisoner at the beginnings. Like, yeah, I could tell there was somehow awkwardness between
“you guys because like, nobody was texting in the group and rigs dropped the video. And I think”
Trent and Frankie were like, what the fuck is that? But, you know, their tiger stands all right.
These guys. Oh, yeah, well, Frankie, you know, at least had a line of dry and Kudos also, you know, Dan Rappapod used to work at Boston. He had a equally couldn't cringe, cringe worthy video you might say. But he showed up on Boston, you know, wake up Boston, you know, took those things. Yeah, I saw that. Yeah, I'm sure I saw the clip. I, okay. But either way, you know, he was going to stand. He, he, he, he ate some shit. He actually, his stand was that
he was just going. Yeah. And like, and like, I can't believe this is happening. But then on, on the, yeah, he was like, yeah, I dropped the video. And, and then I started reading the comments and I was like, oh, this is not going. Like, he wasn't doing tricks on it. Like, like, like, rigs was, but it was still kind of like, is rigs like tight with tiger? Like, are they like,
“doesn't even have his phone number? Well, there's no way he even has his phone number.”
Yeah, I mean, maybe they're like, maybe they've become friends or something. I don't know. It's hard, though. And like, like, obviously, I don't agree with what he did. And like, I wouldn't want to, want to done that. But like, you're like, you've got to go who's who's like willing to do content with you. You're probably trying to stand as good side and like doesn't have many friends. Really at all. Clearly, but like not many guys in his corner. So you're thinking, hey,
maybe I can get a long driving video out of this one. Uh, you know, it's low. It's far as, like, a long time, you know, it's like, it's a little bit more as well. It was like, you know, a long time blogger, Boston, and you know, he said, well, you know, TMZ, you know, at post, do we need to be part of that ecosystem? It's like, bro, we're fucking Boston. We're, we're in that fucking ecosystem. And like, oh, let's hit this one out. I don't, I didn't take it across anyone's
radar. But like, what, like, I don't, I don't know who he texted the one day, showed me like, trying to sense it like a story for, and I don't know if it was to the whole company. But, okay, you want to tell you guys, don't post, but like, it's a huge story. It's, you know, Tiger Woods, crash it. Like, I don't, I don't know if he thought like, Nate wasn't going to post it whatever. So I don't know. I just was like, oh, like, if you flipped your, like, he's defending tiger.
If you flipped a car, like, for the 15th time, like, I'd be on here, like, you're the biggest fucking asshole I've ever met. Like, let alone, like, some guy barely knows. Yeah. And, and it's,
like, I get understand if maybe it was the first incident where it's like, hey, let's let the
facts play out here. But it's kind of like, hey, man, 20 miles per hour. His brain drovers asked over tea kettle. And he's got Perky's in his pocket. I think we know what happened again. Yeah, it's like, don't give me the baby note, what routine rigs. I listen to those why it taps. You know, like, yeah, come on. Move it along. I wonder if he'll be at Internet and Patational. Tiger, who tiger? I mean, that'd be electric. He just comes plumbing in on a cart flips it. Tiger, I'll
take care of the tiger this time. All right. For our last competition, it's three on three, but
“you have to crush six Perky's before the round starts. And if you lose, you have to be in the”
passage to see with Tiger driving. Okay. All right. We're all right. Hey, this is my, I might have put a bowl on the best, like I raise it. Yeah, we got to run, we got to run. I don't know, no, thanks. Well, thanks. Let me go along. Well, buddy, you're the best one. All right, my buzzers are the reviews, buddy. You're, it's our raise world's ahead. So, thank you. Yeah, yeah, I haven't followed it. It's give me a little, a little, like, new creative adventure. And
yeah, people seem to enjoy it. And I'm having fun just to keep you guys a little energetic till the end, but go enjoy it golf, the joy of weekend and I love you boys. There we just ask you what's, what's the plan the next couple days, boys? Like, what should we expect next paw when we record? So we have, we have a tournament, a little bit of a tournament. So a 16 guys. There's seven guys who went to Trinity. Now, Keith is on that team because they didn't, they needed an eighth.
Then there's eight guys who didn't go to Trinity.
We play today around. We play two rounds tomorrow. And then we play around Friday morning. So
“four rounds. You got a bigger plan. Yeah. You know, he's driving. He's an auto driver. So we're very”
excited. We'll be able to kind of talk about this. Play some show. We'll have a couple of funny stories. And I can't wait. I can't wait. I love everyone listening. Thank you so much. Are a great job.
Biz keep crushing it. Me and Yans. We will see you guys Tuesday morning. Right. We'll be recording
Monday. Day after Easter. And next week, we're dropping on Friday after the frozen four. So it'll be Tuesday Friday. Friday afternoon. Friday afternoon. Friday afternoon. It's Saturday morning. Yes. Monday morning. And I'm sure I'll have them pop on after we're done recording. I'm going to
have a Sioux Falls where myself and shuttle to one taundong. We're going to be doing season two of
peak. And we did the pilot. We did season one in BC. We're going to be doing have a Sioux Falls in Arizona. It's about a four to four and a half hour drive from Scottsdale. And one taund was lucky enough
“to draw a couple of the permits where you have to get lucky and get these permits. So we're”
going to be doing an overnighter. Hopefully I don't get bit by a rattlesnake if so don't want to put that out to the ethos here. Well, don't want con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to con to
me. Yeah, it'll be it'll be a great week next week sandwich with a season of peak and so look at forward to it and look at four to dial and I hope but we got to play off push your boys. Yeah,
“there we go. Hey, we got a couple of big games on TNT as well too. We got I think L.A. is playing St. Louis.”
St. Louis is done if they lose out one and then and then who we got we got Anaheim trying to keep to a four point hold on the tops by the Pacific over another team that's into must win mode is a San Jose shark. So look at four to that and look at four to see and you fuckers Monday here and about this golf round. All right, love you all. R.A.s world baby. Love you, R.A. I bet having one break it but it's taking time I don't know if don't let it's gone happen. It's going
to be a good one.
